Landed

"These are all her registered addresses?" Jude asked, sitting on the flight to Puerto Rico with her sisters, taking the sheet of paper from Cassie who was sat in the middle.

"Yeah, but she might not even live in any of those anymore. I don't know how up to date the address mom and dad got was." Cassie said, turning to Thea beside her who was looking out the window, "Hey, are you ok?" Cassie patted her leg as Thea turned and nodded.

"Yeah… yeah, I'm fine." Thea nodded.

"Hey, Cass told me about… the drinking." Jude looked over at her big sister.

"Oh, she did?" Thea looked at Cassie unhappily.

"Come on, she had to know." Cassie said.

"How long have you been off it?" Jude asked.

"Almost two days now." Thea nodded, "This isn't helping." She told them truthfully.

"Keep going." Jude nodded to her, "You know once you get past this part, it gets easier." She said as Thea nodded, suddenly noticing Cassie massaging her chest in between them.

"What the hell are you doing?" Thea shook her head as she and Jude looked at her in the middle.

"My boobs are sore." Cassie groaned as they continued to look at her, "What? I'm due my period." She told them, "They're killing me, actually." She sighed as Thea scoffed.

"You don't have any." Thea laughed a little as Jude smiled.

"Shut up." Cassie batted, "I've got more tits than you."

"Wouldn't be hard." Jude mumbled.

"Hey." Thea scolded.

"Take some pain relief tablets." Jude said.

"I'll be fine. It's not the end of the world." Cassie shook her head.

"What are we actually doing when we land?" Thea asked them, "Do you think mom and dad will have gone straight to find her?" She asked.

"Didn't you say Dean told you about them meeting a PI?" Jude asked.

"Oh, yeah. He did He didn't say definitely but they were thinking about it." Thea nodded.

"I really hope they don't." Cassie groaned.

"Why? What's wrong with a PI?" Thea asked.

"They can be shady. Some of them are ex cops who got kicked off the force for being dirty." Cassie said, "I'm sure mom and dad can hold their own but… I'd rather they didn't get involved with one." Cassie shook her head.

"They're just desperate." Thea said, "And I guarantee they're doing it for us more than they're doing it for themselves." She said.

"Yeah, they've been so off lately." Cassie shook her head, "I should have saw this coming."

"I feel really guilty." Jude admitted.

"Why?" Cassie turned to her.

"For making them think I left because of them. That all of this is their fault." Jude shook her head, "I never meant that. I was just trying to keep myself and my family safe."

"They know that." Thea said, "So maybe they think themselves that they're to blame but… they know deep down that we don't really blame them. It's not their fault. They didn't ask for any of this." She shook her head, "It's just as unfair on them as it is on us." She said, "I guess the way we've all been distant made them think otherwise."

"It's probably what she wanted." Cassie shook her head.

"Did you get this from Theo?" Jude asked her, looking at the addresses.

"No, are you kidding? I had to sneak into the station and get it from the systems files without anybody noticing." She shook her head.

"Why couldn't you just ask Theo?" Jude shook her head.

"Because she slept with him and doesn't know what to say to him now." Thea answered for her.

"You slept with him?" Jude raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah but it was just…" Cassie shrugged. She knew she couldn't say it was just casual. It was anything but. She was still thinking about that night, "It's just complicated."

"Not complicated enough to get some dick out of it." Thea said.

"Why don't you just look back out the window." Cassie shoved Thea's face as Thea slapped her on the boob, "Don't!" Cassie groaned, holding her chest dramatically as Thea chuckled. Meanwhile Jude couldn't help smile at being back in the presence of her crazy sisters.

"What time are we meeting him?" AJ asked, standing down at the harbour with her husband who was on his phone.

"I said 8pm." Punk told her, "We're about fifteen minutes south of that address I got from Vincent." He told her, checking his maps as AJ looked around.

"I remember being here as a kid." She said, looking out at the harbour at the water.

"How long did you live here?" He asked her.

"Well I was born in Chicago and I think I moved here when I was six or seven." She nodded, "But we went back and forth." She said as Punk nodded.

"Any good memories from here or is it all… drugs and money?" He asked her, leaning over the railing where she was standing looking out.

"I don't remember much of it." AJ shook her head, "It was impossible to make friends. Moving back and forth from here to Chicago. It's why I didn't have any when I met you." She said, turning to him.

"I was your first friend?" He smiled as she nodded.

"Yeah." AJ nodded, "Yeah, first time I had something else to think about in my life." She said, "God knows what my life would look like if I chose to come back here with Thea."

"I would have come find you when I got out." Punk assured her as she smiled. She had every reason to believe he would have.

"Yeah, I know." AJ smiled, linking her arm through his and leaning into him, "I hope they're not too worried."

"They're safer out of the way." Punk nodded.

"Phil Brooks?" Punk heard a voice from behind them as they both turned around, looking on at the man in a suit standing in front of them.

"Rick?" Punk questioned, assuming it had to be the PI.

"That's me." Rick, the private investigator nodded to him, extending his hand out as Punk shook his head.

"Hi, I'm April." AJ nodded, shaking his hand after Punk.

"Nice to meet you April." Rick nodded, "How was your flight?" He asked them both. Punk had spoken to him on the phone before they left for their flight. He was aware that the address they had may not have been correct, so the need for a PI seemed pretty necessary.

"Yeah, it was fine." Punk nodded.

"So… you wanted all the information I could get on Janet Mendez?" He asked, walking over to the nearby bench as Punk watched him take out some paper work from his briefcase.

"You find anything?" Punk asked, walking over to the bench.

"I got information about her whereabouts up until last night." He nodded as AJ raised her eyebrows.

"Really?" AJ walked over, intrigued, "So she's here?"

"Yeah, she's here." Rick nodded, "She spends a lot of time at this location." He passed the paper over to Punk for him to look at, "It's like a warehouse of some kind. Used to be a factory years ago but it shut down." He explained as Punk looked at the paper, showing it to AJ.

"What about where she's living?" Punk asked.

"Here." Rick said, passing him another piece of paper with another location on it, "She lives there." He nodded.

"Yeah, this is not the address I have." Punk nodded, "How the hell did you find this out in one night?"

"I work fast." Rick said.

"This house is huge." AJ shook her head, looking at the image of the house on the piece of paper. It was like a mansion.

"Yeah, it's a drug dealers house." Rick scoffed, "I got scoop on the warehouse, what's coming in and out of it… lots of trucks, lots of boxes, lots of guys." He nodded to them cautiously, "This area of the island is notorious for it's crime rate. Just last year's cops busted an old farm for money laundering." He explained, "God knows how they get away with it for so long but they do." He shook his head.

"You think this is where she's keeping her drugs?" Punk asked Rick who nodded.

"Either that or it's a cover-up job. Keep the cops sweet and out of her way." Rick said as Punk nodded.

"What about this house? Who else is living there?" AJ questioned.

"I don't got names but I did get a picture last night." Rick said, pulling out a picture he'd taken, showing them it, "This guy went in and never came back out." He showed them.

"You recognise him?" Punk asked AJ who nodded.

"Yeah… yeah, it's my uncle. My dad's brother." AJ said, "He was always at our house when I was little." She nodded.

"That's the only person who went to the house." Rick nodded.

"Should have hired you months ago." Punk shook his head.

"If you give me another day I could get more for you." Rick said as Punk shook his head.

"No, you've done enough." Punk nodded, getting his wallet out and counting out the money as Rick watched.

"Uh… it's ok." Rick shook his head, "Your Vincent's buddy." He nodded.

"No, really… take it." Punk said, "I don't wanna owe anyone anything." He said, stuffing the role of cash into Rick's hand as he nodded.

"Thanks." Rick said, "Hope you… get what you're looking for." He nodded to them, closing up his briefcase.

"Yeah, me too." Punk nodded, watching as he walked off back to his parked black SUV.

"It seems convenient that he got all of this information in just one night." AJ said suspiciously.

"It's his job." Punk shrugged, turning to her, "How much outer family do you have that you know are here, and alive?" He asked her.

"Well I had a bunch of aunts but they all live in the states and have nothing to do with my mom. My uncle is the only one that I know was still in contact with them. I had a ton of rogue cousins too, they could be here but… most ended up in prison or dead when they were teenagers." She shook her head.

"Ok." Punk nodded, "Ok."

"So what do we do now?" AJ looked up at him.

"It's hot." Thea observed, walking out of the airport in Puerto Rico with her sisters.

"Does anyone remember any Spanish mom taught us? Could come in handy right now." Jude said.

"I do." Thea nodded, "She used to talk to me in Spanish when I was a kid." She told them, "I'm fluent."

"No you're not." Jude laughed, "You can say hello and goodbye like the rest of us."

"You know what would come in handy right now? If we had a tracker for mom and dad's phone. We could just follow that and find them." Cassie sighed.

"Put the address you got into the maps on your phone." Thea told Cassie who nodded, pulling out her phone and putting the address in, watching it pop up.

"How far away are we?" Jude asked.

"Half an hour in a car." Cassie shrugged, "That is if this address is even right."

"Yeah, that looks like a pretty big house for one small, evil woman." Thea looked on at the phone.

"She's a drug dealer. She'll have a lot of money." Cassie said.

"So we're just showing up to this house?" Thea asked.

"Call Theo and ask him if it's the right address." Jude nodded to Cassie.

"No." Cassie said, "Are you kidding me? If I call him and tell him we're here, he'll flip." She shook her head.

"Maybe, but he can't do anything about it. We're here now." Jude said, "So if he wants to help you, he'll tell us if this address is right and where we can find her." She said.

"No way, I'm not calling him." Cassie said as Thea slapped her on the boob again, "Can you stop it?!" Cassie pushed Thea angrily.

"Every time you whine over him, I'm slapping you there." Thea said, arm wrestling with Cassie outside the airport as Jude watched, slightly embarrassed.

"People are staring." Jude cared to tell them.

"I'm not calling him." Cassie said, getting her sister in a headlock as Thea bit her hand and slapped her boob again.

"Just call him." Thea pushed her as Cassie pushed back, "Do it." She nodded, "This is mom and dad we're talking about here. I don't give a fuck about your stupid boy problems. Call him and get information now. He can't do shit. We're not in Chicago." She said as Cassie looked across at her.

"You both piss me the fuck off." Cassie shook her head, taking her phone out.

"I thought you were happy I was here?" Jude asked, amused, as Cassie walked away in a storm to call Theo.
