{Hey guys I'm really sorry I don't know what has been up with me but, I honestly have been having major writers block and motivation for all my stories. Life caught up with me and I was working three jobs not a lot of time to write. And as I am sure all people are going through their own stuff my jobs shut down temporarily because of COVID-19 so I am at home and have tons of time to try and get these all going again. Just to clarify Tara will not be pregnant in this. I tried to write as much as I could for you but if I kept it going then I probably wouldn't have stopped haha, I believe over 7'000 words is good for a come back. Again, super sorry I hope you enjoy this update the next one is going to get really crazy! As always, I do not own anything to do with the Sons of Anarchy only my own characters and anything you do not recognize.}
It was a shock to say the least as we all looked around at the misfortunate event that just took place. Jimmy's words just kept replaying in my head and the feeling of dread took over. Jimmy was unstable and selfish; he didn't care who he hurt in his game as long as he won. As I continued to look at Chibs I could feel my cheeks growing red evidently showing my anger. Jax grip on me tightened as all of the SAMCRO charter gathered around the now quiet Chibs who continued to mourn. "This was Jimmy." Chibs said point blank breaking up the silence that surrounded us
"We don't know that." Keith said as he joined us followed by Liam
"The hell we don't!" I growled at him, angry tears beginning to form in my eyes
"There were no guns, had to be the alters." Liam defended completely ignoring me as per usual
"Where the hell were you!" Jax let go of me and began to stalk towards Liam
"I was talking a shite', your boys were watching." He answered back and pointed to the boys behind me
I could tell by Jax's body that he didn't believe a word he said and frankly neither did I. Jax leaned forward and spat on the ground almost as if spitting on the lie that Liam had told. "The explosion was seen for miles, we got to get out of here now." Bobby spoke up
Clay looked around us once more before ordering, "Load the wounded, let's go."
My eyes traveled from everyone else to Chibs. I knew what Clay meant, it meant they would have to leave Chibs nephew. I walked away from the scene I knew it would be. I rubbed my arm against my eyes to brush away the tears. I tried desperately to ignore Chibs cries of revenge once more as I stood by Jax's bike. I felt my stomach roll and I placed a hand on my mouth trying desperately to hold it in. But, no matter how hard I tried, it was a failed attempt from the very beginning. I stumbled away from the bike as far as I could go before, I let it all go. I began to breath hard after and my hands went carefully to my stomach where I rubbed it softly.
(Flashback)
It was another morning spent around the toilet. I didn't know if it was the stress that was came with this job or that the job was coming to an end and I would have a choice to make. We had spoke about me staying with him or rather he wasn't making it an option to leave. But the closer I got to him the more I couldn't bear leaving him. I put the seat down and sat down on it before my vision crossed the room to the stupid box on the counter. A box that held a small stick…a stick that could change my life forever. I ran my fingers through my hair before reaching for it. For as many reasons as I could come up with for why I was feeling this way, I knew deep down what it truly was.
(Flashback)
I felt a hand on my back and blonde hair that entered my vision. "Hey," Jax voiced reached my ears and his hands grasped my face to look at him, "Are you okay?"
His fingers pushed away my stray tears and for a moment I got lost in his eyes. "No Jax I'm not. Nothing about this is alright."
His hands traveled from my face to my shoulders and he pulled me in for a hug. He squeezed me just enough for me to feel safe even for as temporary as it could be. He said no words and neither did I, after all what could we say that would make any of this right? We heard the bikes start up and we pulled apart. Jax gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before he pulled away. I hoped onto his bike after him and I held him close as we rode back to the clubhouse.
~~SOA~~
Once we were back at the clubhouse, we all went up to Maureen's house. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, I pulled it out to see the information that I had asked Jasper for. It was some files pertaining to the land that Kellan owns or had his hands in. He also alerted me that Jimmy and Kellan go back over 20 years since Jimmy became a bigger part of the IRA. But it seems that neither party has gotten along from the beginning and this isn't the first time that something like this has happened. Both were guilty of some horrid thing in their past. What did interest me was that nothing that Kellan had done had ever made it public knowledge this was information Jasper had to really dig for. Jasper told me he would work on it until he found the information I was looking for. Before Chibs walked in from checking on his girls, I quickly sent a text back asking him to do the same thing with Liam. After today I didn't trust either of them, Jimmy wouldn't have been able to do that by himself. Someone was a rat and I didn't have a good feeling about either of them. "How are the girls?" Gemma asked Chibs
I stuffed my phone back in my pocket and looked up to Chibs. He looked so broken and so tired and honestly, I didn't blame him. "Yeah there okay, safe. But I want a patch from now on." Chibs breathed out a frustrated sigh
"You got it." Clay agreed
"Talked to Oswald, got a car leaving Manchester leaving day after tomorrow. You got to get your family out of here." Bobby told Chibs
"He's right Chibs take Fi and Kerriane and head back to Charming." Jax agreed with the others
Before Chibs could say anything, I knew what he was going to say. I am sure every bone in his body was screaming for him to take them and go but, he couldn't take there home from them. He had his robbed from him and he was to good of a man to do it to someone else. Chibs was quiet for a moment before he answered them, "No."
"You got to protect them brother." Opie tried to help
"Not that I don't agree with the people in this room but, we all know Jimmy well enough to know that no matter how far we take them he will find them again. And when he does it won't be pretty for anyone." I spoke up
But it was no use. It wasn't about protecting them; he knows just as well as I do that Jimmy wouldn't hurt either of them. They were to valuable to him especially with the connections that Fiona had. "I am. This is Kerianne's home…and she does not want to leave. And I am not going to force her and the only way I can keep my baby safe is when that bastard O'Fallon is dead. And I guarantee I am going to make that happen." Chibs told the group, what he said was final there would be no discussion
Jax nodded his head understanding where Chibs was coming from. "Yeah okay bro."
I didn't know what game Jimmy or Kellan was playing anymore. They were playing with families and the hearts of so many. I looked at Jax as my hand landed on my stomach again. I wanted to tell him but, it was the last thing he needed right then.

It had been a solemn evening and I wasn't able to sleep, just like many of us. So, when my phone began to ring, I didn't think anything of answering it. I rolled over and leaned over to grab my phone from the nightstand. "Hello." I spoke into the phone
"Hey Paige, how is it going out there?" Tig's voice traveled back to me
I smiled "Hey Tigger good, just getting to the end of it all I hope." I replied hoping to leave out to part about almost dying today.
It didn't happen and I didn't want to worry the guys back home. "Good, good." Tig said still keeping it short
I knew he wouldn't be calling for nothing, so I asked, "Spit it out Tig."
"Well, Salazar has kidnapped Tara and her boss."
I sat straight up in bed and my mouth dropped, "What! Does Marcus know?"
"That's the thing he is demanding that we kill Alvarez and take the quarter mil that's in his safe." Tig said rather quick
"Okay well I am here, and you are there what is the problem with this situation Tig?" I said becoming a little annoyed
"I know but, we can't just kill Alvarez and we don't have that kind of money lying around."
I understood why he was bringing this to me. They couldn't tell anyone here because chaos would ensue. I was the one with connections to these people that could help them. I racked my brain for the quickest solution I could come up with. "Okay this is what I am going to do. Go to Marcus home, I will send you the address. Do not go hostile, explain the situation and get him to pretend to be dead for one night. As for the money we will figure it out. I will reach out to Mike and get him and Samantha to come down. They will help you with this and if needed they can get you the money that you can't scrap up out of my account. But, Tig this cannot reach the boys here, we are in a moment that we need everyone, and their attention needs to be here. Oh, and don't fuck up my relationships. Realize I have spent years building these and if I come back to find out you ruined any of it, I will break you."
He was quiet for a moment before laughter filled my ear, "I get it Paige. Thank you."
"Welcome."
With that we hung up. I dialed Mike's number after I was done with Tig and waited as it rung. I walked up to my window and saw Jax sitting on the bench talking on his phone as well. I didn't have long to ponder this though as Mikes voice broke through "Sweet Pea? What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm sorry to wake you but, I have a favor to ask."
"Anything."
"Great! I need you to go meet Tig and the rest of SAMCRO down at the clubhouse. Tara has been kidnapped and it's a long story but someone who use to work for Marcus is demanding Marcus's death and the quarter mil he has in his home."
"Marcus Alvarez? Like the Mayan president?"
"Yes. They are on new ground, I'm sure you know about there history. Marcus has been a contact of mine for a few years and I don't want Tig or Kozik fucking it up. And SAMCRO and the Mayans just made a truce before we left."
"Okay and Tara, that was Jaxson's ex, right?"
I pursed my lips, ever since I found about the recent change in my life. I have thought about his ex a couple times. I wanted so desperately to believe Jax's words. I wanted the life he wanted to give me and feel that I was truly loved. I don't know if it was the fear that he would choose Tara over myself or if I was scared of loving someone like I did Ethan. I had yet to really deal with the hole situation and I was scared for the moment I was going to be forced to. "Paige?"
"Hmm," I realized I was quiet for a little to long, "Sorry Mikey, it is but, I need Jax's focus here. Please I need someone there for me."
"Okay sweet pea me and Samantha will head down tomorrow."
"Okay keep me informed."
I hung up the phone and looked out to see Jax still there, so I grabbed a sweater and threw it on over my head. I had one destination in mind, and it was the table outside. As I walked down the stairs, I looked at Jax and started to walk towards him as he just hung up his phone and lit up a smoke. I smiled at him and for some reason feeling slightly uncomfortable. I wrapped my hands around myself as I walked up to him. "Hey." I smiled at him
"Hey." He nodded his head and he moved over allowing me to sit beside him
We were quiet for a moment as I sat beside him. "Its almost three, why aren't you in bed?" He asked me
I could feel his eyes bearing into me but, I still didn't look at him. Instead I looked up into the starry night sky. "I can't sleep. Everything that's going on…I just can't seem to shut my mind off." I told him the partial truth
"Yeah I get that." He sighed and took another drag from his smoke
I finally looked at him and I bit my lip. He looked up at me and smiled. But his smile made me sad it wasn't his smile, it was forced. "How are you actually Jax?" I asked
During everything that has happened since we got here, I don't think one person had really thought about how Jax was feeling through everything. Sure, everyone seemed to be going through something while we were here but, no one really knows how he has been feeling. I'm sure it wasn't easy being separated from his son for so long. "Im tired Paige." Was all Jax could say to me
I pursed my lips together and looked down. "I get it. This is hard and I wish I could tell you it would get easier but, its only going to get harder right now. I won't quit until I have your son in your arms again even if it kills me."
Jax didn't say anything and he didn't have to. He leaned into me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders pulling me into his side. I was content here and if circumstances were different, I wouldn't have wanted to leave this spot.
After sitting outside for a while Jax had grabbed my hand in his and guided me to his room and once we got into my room we fell into the throws of passion. The one thing I had come to love about Jax was the intense passion he showed me. It made me feel as if I was the only person he saw, and he was slowly becoming my world.
~~SOA~~
I could feel the sun filtering through the window as it warmed my skin. Jax's arm holding me tightly to him on this very small bed. What I wasn't expecting was when the door opened and three men one of which was Kellan walked into the room quickly followed by Gemma. "Good morning-" Kellan voice filled the room, "I am sorry."
"Well ain't that something to walk into." Gemma voice followed quickly behind before I heard her heels click across the floor signalling her retreat
Jax sat up quickly, making sure to pull the blankets completely over me and he tried to keep himself decent as well. "You do know there is such thing as knocking father." I grumbled as I could feel the heat rise to my face
"What time is it?" Jax asked
"Almost noon." Kellan cleared his throat
"I guess you heard."
"Yes, I am sorry about Patrick."
"Jimmy killed your brother, five members of my club. That blast was meant for SAMCRO." Jax replied point blank as I heard him light up a cigarette
"We may have pushed him over the line. His betrayal means he has gone rouge." Kellan replied
"I need to know where to find Jimmy." Jax told him
"Im sorry I hate to break up this touching moment boys but, I am still naked as the day my mother gave birth to me. Can I at least get dressed before we have this conversation?" I spoke through the blanket
Kellan cleared his throat again but, I heard the door close slightly. I saw Jax's fingers grab the blanket as he let me know it was okay and I let him pull the blankets away. He looked amused as his eyes met mine and I couldn't help but, smile back. He leaned over and gave me a sweet lingering kiss. "We will continue this later." He spoke against my lips
With that we both sat up and gathered our clothes as quickly as we could. Once we were dressed Kellan walked back in by himself making sure to close the door behind himself. "We're going to make that happen. First we have to prove that Jimmy blew up that truck." He told us as he tried to avoid eye contact with me
"Why?" Jax looked confused
I knew why, "He wants the support of the army. Proving his betrayal shows that he knowingly killed two of their people and destroyed a shipment. We do this and you give us Abel isn't that right?" I answered as I crossed my arms over my chest
Kellan nodded his head, "With Jimmy out the way your son goes home to his loving family."
"Like I got a choice." Jax snorted before taking a drag from his smoke
"You need to find someone close to Jimmy, the closer the better." Kellan offered up
"We got a few ideas." Jax made eye contact with me
"Once you find the right man, give Shawn a ring. You'll find he is quite resourceful." Kellan faced me after he opened the door
"I am sure I can handle that business without a hand. I have done it for years on my own." I huffed as I looked over his shoulder to Shawn
I didn't doubt Shawn's capabilities but, I worked alone when it came to getting answers out of people any way possible. "I don't doubt that my dear but, I promise Shawn's hands will be of use to someone with your skill set."
And with that we watched as they left. I could feel the tension in my body leave with him. Something wasn't right, there was something he just wasn't telling me. I walked to the door and continued to watch them leave down the hall. "Hey," Jax whispered in my ear as he wrapped his arms around my stomach. I tried not to flinch as I my thought went back to my secret, "Don't worry so much you'll get wrinkles."
I hummed in response. "I'm going to get changed. You should gather everyone to discuss this."
I pulled from his arms and walked back to my room. If today was going to turn the way I thought it was, I would need something that wouldn't stain. I walked into my room and opened my suitcase. I pulled out a pair of tight black jeans followed by a red shirt and my black vest to go with it. I slipped on a pair of my converse before I stood in front of my bag once more. I ran my hand over the top of my suitcase. I could feel the bumps of my metal tools as my fingers grazed them. I hadn't used them in many months because I hadn't been hired to do any torture. I also rarely took the jobs, it was exhilarating when doing the deed but, after I always felt wrong in a sense for days after. After I removed my tools I slipped on my black long coat and strapped my gun holster to one leg. Once I was all ready to go, I thought I would take a few seconds to myself. My reflection caught my attention and my eyes went to my stomach. I had no idea how far along I was, but it couldn't be that far. I moved my coat out of the way as I turned to the side and let my hand run over my stomach as I imagined my stomach getting bigger. And it made me smile, inside I panicked realizing that this was real. That I couldn't avoid what was to come and that was telling Jax the truth. I wouldn't rob him of that knowledge. But, in that moment I realized why this scared me so much. It wasn't telling Jax, it wasn't the idea that I may have found love again and the chance to have a family again. No, it was the thought of what if I lost this baby like my last, I didn't want to experience that ever again and it was scaring me.
In this moment I was vulnerable, and I thanked god that I was alone in that moment. Or so I thought. Gemma barged her way in. I quickly turned away from the mirror to face her as I placed my hands on my hip and rolled my eyes, "Does no one know how to knock around here." I sassed
Gemma closed the door and gave me her oh so famous mothering look. "I don't think that's the problem here."
"And what is that?"
"Are you really going to pretend like nothing is going on?"
I thought back to this morning, "Because you walked in on me and Jax this morning? You are aware that our relationship is going further everyday," I motioned to the door, "If people would learn to knock you wouldn't walk in on that."
"Good point but, that not what I am talking about," She mirrored me and placed her hands on her hips as she stepped closer to me, "When are you going to tell my son about the baby."
My eyes grew wide, "How do you-"
"The morning sickness? I've noticed how sensitive you have been, your breasts are bigger, and I am a mother and I know what I am looking at."
"Your imagining things." I side stepped around her and went to the door to leave
"Am I imagining this." Gemma voice called me to stop
I looked over my shoulder and saw Gemma holding out a bag. In this bag was the stick that changed my life. My face scrunched up in disgust and confusion, "You went digging through my garbage?" I asked as my hand fell off the door handle
"You didn't hide it very well."
"Well I wasn't expecting you to go digging through my garbage Gemma." I began to raise my voice
"I don't like secrets, so I am going to ask you one more time. Why wont you tell Jaxson?"
I didn't get a chance to answer before the door opened behind me causing me to jump out of the way and Gemma to put the bag behind her back. I looked back to see Jax standing at the door. He looked between each of us before he spoke, "Everything okay in here?" He asked
"Yes." We both said at the same time
I could tell he didn't believe me, but he opened the door the rest of the way. "Okay well, we are gathering in the kitchen if you want to join?"
I cleared my throat and grabbed my tools, tucking it under my arm before I walked past Jax. I could hear them whispering behind me but, I knew that mine and Gemma conversation wasn't over, and she wouldn't say anything to Jax…I hoped.
I chose not to sit and once Jax and Gemma had joined our meeting began. "Kellan needs us to prove Jimmy blew up that truck." Jax began as he leaned against the chair
"And what about Abel?" Gemma leaned forward and asked
"Same promise. Get Jimmy and we get Abel."
"My contact is close to breaking the business's that Kellan is in bed with. He is looking into who would be more likely to be housing Abel. Once I have that we wont need Kellan or Jimmy." I spoke up
"Until then we will continue with our course of action." Jax continued
I looked at him and I could see the anger and the frustration present on his face hell, it was on all our faces. "We'll start with O'Neil." Clay offered
"Him and Jimmy's guys were the only ones not in that barn." Jax pointed out
"And the remote detonator to cover that distance, it had to be him." Opie added
"We call him out as a rat we pretty much condemn the whole charter." Bobby pointed out the ugly truth
"Maybe we start to look at that how do we know that Jimmy didn't turn others." Clay said
Chibs started to speak when Keith walked in, "Because my boys are loyal to the MC. You're right about O'Neil, the Irish became more important than the patch." He spoke up in defense to his club
"Well that's not what you told me." Clay barked
He had a point; it wasn't what he told any of us. This information began to solidify my suspicions about both Keith and Liam. He was hiding something or protecting Liam either way he was just as guilty as his partner. "Cuz' I like to give my boys the benefit of the doubt Clay but, after yesterday there is no doubt left. He's gone and his flat is empty he has got to be with Jimmy."
"Son of a bitch!" Chibs swore
My phone vibrated and I took the chance to look at it. Liam wasn't as sneaky as Kellan or Jimmy for that matter. I had some other places that he owned one of which caught my interest. It was a loft of some sort on the dock. Perfect place to hide. Not only that but, Jasper had found multiple phone conversations with Jimmy. This just solidified our thoughts of him being a rat and I knew just where to find him. "Look I'll take care of O'Neil, SAMBELL will take care of it, but we need to get to Mirel and put a bullet in Jimmy." Keith offered up
It pulled my attention away, I had a gut feeling that just told me he was covering for Liam and I didn't trust him as far as I could throw him. "No, the only way I get my son back is if we O'Neil and make that bitch tell the truth." Jax growled
The room fell silent and I took the opportunity to step forward. "I just got a message from my contact, not only do I have proof that O'Neil has been in contact with Jimmy but, I also know where he is."
"Well isn't that all you need then?" Keith motioned to me
"No, it isn't. We need him to squeal on anything that could be going on. We need him to admit to what Jimmy and him have been up to and anyone that he would be working with." I argued with him
Again silence. But, in the end Keith nodded his head but, I could tell he was scheming in his mind. "Alright let's pack it up and head to this place." Clay motioned to the rest of the group
~~SOA~~
We made it to the dock as quietly as we could trying not to alert Liam to our presence. I followed Jax up to the door but, just as we reached there, we heard a bike coming around the corner. The little shit was trying to make a break for it. Jax ran up to where the bike would be coming and just as it broke the corner Jax jumped at him swinging. He knocked Liam off the bike and fell to the ground himself. Liam fell near me and as he tried to get up and pushed my foot into his throat so he would move. "I wouldn't move sweetheart. I push hard enough and you ain't never getting back up." I threatened
The rest of the boys came up and wrestled him from the ground dragging him back into the loft. Once inside they all looked to me as to where I wanted him. I saw a pair of chains tucked into the corner and a couple hooks hanging from the ceiling. I grabbed them dragging them over to them. "Hang him," I ordered before turning to Jax, "Call Shawn, if he wants in on this he better gets here now."
I waited for the boys to hang him up as I laid out my bag of tools and I removed my coat setting it onto the chair that was closest to me. With each flip of the cloth they got more dangerous each time. Depending on what I had to do I had a tool for everything. I took the easiest thing which was scissors and started to cut off his shirt. "Didn't know we were getting kinky." Liam spoke trying to make light of the situation.
I smiled at him and then it quickly fell. I turned around grabbing a pair of plyers, I held his face in my hands before I placed his nose in between and I smiled once more. "I like being kinky as much as the next person but, trust me when I say this isn't going to be fun at least for you."
And with that I twisted the plyers until I heard the sickening crack of his nose. I pulled away and he screamed in agony. I walked back over to my tools grabbing my cleaning rag as I leaned back on the table. "Now, let's start easy. How long have you been working with Jimmy?"
"I don't know what your talking about." He managed to speak in between spitting blood.
"Okay," I said as I placed the plyers back before grabbing a small scalpel. I started to play with it with my fingers, "But, see I am going to call your bullshit there. I know you have been in contact with Jimmy because I have phone records that would say otherwise. So just stop the lies and tell the truth. This will get a hole lot easier if you do."
He glared at me but, said nothing. So, I dragged my scalpel slowly down his side, making sure to dig a little deeper as I went over each of his ribs. He squirmed trying desperately to get away from me but, obviously going no where. "Cunt!" He swore at me and spat blood in my face
I tried desperately to keep the vomit down that tried to desperately to come up. Not like it was the first time this had happened to me but, unfortunately, I was oversensitive right now and it was starting to get on my last nerve. I balled up my fist and slammed it into his face, because I hit him square in the center his head flung back, and he groaned in more pain. I wiped my face the best I could when I heard a new voice enter the building. "Now that wasn't nice now was it?" Shawn spoke as he entered the building
"That was quick." I muttered as I looked back at him
"I wasn't that far," The man of few words spoke, "Quite the pickle you have gotten yourself into their O'Neil."
When I looked back at O'Neil, he had his head down and blood had been smeared all over his face. "She has already done quite the number on you brother. But we are just getting started," He looked at my tools to the scalpel that was still in my hands. I held it out to him assuming that's what he wanted, with it he walked up to stand face to face with him, "I need you to tell me who ordered you to blow up that truck Liam." Shawn said with menace in his voice
I could barely make out what Liam was saying in between his crying. Shawn didn't look fazed at all, instead he went to the opposite side of where I cut him and slid the same scalpel down the front of his ribs and right after he cut him directly across the stomach, a lot deeper then the others. Liam's cries of agony echoed in the room. I knew this move, I knew what he was doing and that was a old trick that we in our business never used unless we were running out of patience or really wanted to hurt the son of bitch we were hunting. I looked back at my tools grabbing the plyers once more. I couldn't find the courage to look back at the boys, I could feel someone's eyes on me, and I had a feeling it was Jax. "I can't watch this." I heard Keith say as his footsteps retreated
I didn't blame him hell, it takes someone with a strong stomach to sit here through this let alone do it. I was struggling with it myself still, god damn sensitivity. "This is some medieval shit." Bobby spoke up almost with a mesmerizing tone to his voice
Shawn looked over to me and seeing the tool in my hand he motioned for me to come up. I walked up and pinched the skin where he had been cut across his stomach. Shawn stood close beside me and looked up to Liam, "Who. Ordered. The. Hit?" he asked
Liam whimpered as he tried to open his eyes to look at us. "Make this easier on yourself Liam. This will only get harder the more you fight it." I tried to play the good cop
He just shook his head and I pursed my lips, "Remember your choices, have consequences." I told him as I twisted the tool and pulled the skin
Liam instantly tried to pull away and threw his head back letting out a long howl of pain. "Stop! Please! I did it!" He pleaded with me, so I let the tool go temporarily, "I'm sorry! I was hired as one of Jimmy's boys. I blew up the barn."
"Jimmy O'Phelan ordered you to blow up shipment and kill the army men?" Shawn repeated to make sure we all understood him correctly
"Yeah, Jimmy set it, I put it in motion. I didn't tell McGee I knew he wouldn't get on board."
Keith? So, my gut was right he had something to do with this all along. I noticed movement and I saw Shawn step away from Liam. Clay walked past me and up to Liam's face. I took a step back to avoid anything that was about to happen as history has proved before Clay is unpredictable. "McGee is working for Jimmy?" Clay asked lowly. All Liam could do was nod his head and Clay continued to ask, "Who else?"
"No one just us." Liam spoke the truth
The one thing I knew to trust was that no matter how long it took to torture someone. Once they broke, they told the whole truth in hopes that it would stop. Sometimes they need that little extra push but, most broke. But Clay took a swing at his chest and shouted, "Who else!"
"Just us!" Liam sputtered quickly
"Get him!" Clay turned around and ordered at no one in particular
I felt Jax's hands as he brushed them along my back as he stepped past me to Shawn, "You got what you need?" Jax asked him
Shawn nodded his head so Jax stepped forward and raised his gun to Liam. "Turn off the camera." He told me
I reached over and just as I pressed the power button his gun twice went off effectively killing Liam. The man that ran out after McGee came running back in. "McGee took off and Jimmy and his boys are heading this way." He warned us.
I slipped my jacket back on and wrapped up my tools. Clay found a latter that lead up to the roof, bottle of liquor and a rag, Chibs and Happy ran around dumping as much flammable fluid on the ground. "Light it up." He ordered as he climbed up the latter.
Jax grabbed the camera and turned to face Shawn, "Make sure Kellan gets this and no matter what he keeps his promise about my kid."
"Jax we need to go." I grabbed his arm and started to pull him away knowing that Jax got his point across to Shawn.
Jax aloud me to pull him away and pushed me up the latter first. Just as I was reaching the top, I heard the pounding on the door. I reached for my gun as soon as my feet hit the roof. We all stood around the hole and looked into it. One of SAMBEL's members and Happy were hiding by the door. By the sounds of it by the time Jimmy and his boys realized that Liam was dead, we were no where to be found it was to late. The boys had slipped out and slammed the door, locking it with chains. Clay lit the end of the rag that was now in the bottle of alcohol and dropped it down into the room. Flames were instant and the smoke began to billow up from the hole. We all took a step back guns drawn knowing this would force them out of the room controlled by us.
Men's screams could be heard and just as quickly I watched Jimmy scramble out of the hole. All the boys grabbed him as quick as they could all guns trained on him. I wouldn't move from my spot, I knew better then to underestimate Jimmy. Jax was the first to really get a hold of him and he landed a punch square across the face. Jimmy stumbled back and held up his hands, "It's the priest you want to hate Jax he is never giving you your son back! And you think she can help you! She has more secrets then the lot of us!" He shouted at Jax pointing at me
But I wasn't paying attention to Jimmy I was paying attention to Keith who peaked around the corner with his gun raised right at Jimmy. "Running out of friends Jimmy!" Keith shouted at him causing Jimmy to jump out of the way
It was amusing to watch Jimmy like a mouse trapped in a corner. "McGee!" Jax shouted at him his hand raised in a stop signal
Next thing I see is someone else coming up from the hole, my instincts took over and I pivoted and started to shoot. And with my first bullet came many more from a lot of people. I dropped back and ran into a wall ironically with Jimmy and Jax right beside me but, I couldn't focus on them at this moment. With everyone taking cover, Jimmy bailed before I could grab him. But, before he could get to far, he turned to face me as he ran backwards, "I'll be coming for you real soon darling that you can count on. You won't escape me this time and I will guarantee it will not end like last time."
My eyes narrowed at him as I shot at him but, he made it out the door with his henchman. I looked beside me to Jax who was watching me curiously. Everyone ran to the door Jimmy escaped out of and swore when they realized it locked behind them. Happy shot at the door and took off down the stairwell as Jax stood to face me, "What did he mean by that[PB1] ?" He asked obviously confused with a hint of hurt
I opened my mouth not really knowing what to say in this moment. After all it had to come out at some point but, my eyes darted from him to Clay who was chasing after Keith who was trying to escape off a ladder on the side of the building. When he realized my attention was focused on something else, he too looked in that direction. He faced me again, "We aren't done with this conversation." He told me
I nodded my head in understanding. I wasn't going to be able to hide this from him anymore. "Keith. It's over, done. No place to go." Clay called out to him with his gun raised in the air at him
Keith whole body seemed to sink in defeat, and he turned to face Clay. Clay held his hand out for the gun that was in Keith's hands and Keith handed it over and Clay passed it back to Bobby. Clay looked up at him for a minute before he asked, "Just tell me why?"
"It's getting old Clay. It hasn't given me much in the way of retirement. It's just about the money brother." Keith told him
We heard the scuffle of feet and Happy told the group that Jimmy got away. Clay started to walk up the steps to the ladder where Keith still stood. "Give me your cut." He told Keith
Keith with reluctance passed it to Bobby. Clay then leaned in grasping Keith by the back of the head with one hand and his back with the other in an embrace. He spoke in a whisper that none of us could hear but, Keith face didn't change. He kissed him on the side of the face and just as quick as the action had been, he pushed Keith off the side of the building. All you could hear for the first few minutes of silence among our group was the sound of Keith's body hitting the pavement.
