Echo stuck her tongue out at the side. She wore a royal blue turtle neck sweater with a flowing black mini skirt with dark leggings. She wore her usual combats boots as she held her hands over the eyes of her big brother. She had been unable to distract Cheryl like planned, but team Bughead seemed to have gotten the information they needed on Polly and Jason.

"Echo, what the living cheese is going on? Can I have my vision back?" Jughead chuckles, feeling a bit weird about unknowing.

"One more step." Echo grunts knocking on the front door to the household of Fred, Archie, and Izzy Andrews. She nearly fell face first with her brother as soon as the door flew open.

"Icky-!" Jughead was about to continue pleading with Echo when her hands came from his eyes. He was suprised when people jumped out, yelling the word at the birthday boy.

Echo grinned, "Happy birthday, big brother!"

Jughead immediately frowned, turning a sour gaze to his sister. He bawled up his fists. He let it be known to said girl that he despised birthday parties as much as she did. "What the fuck, Echo? You know I don't do birthday parties."

Echo stood in the doorway as Jughead stormed off in his temperment. A soft sigh came from the girl who didn't like the way her brother treated her.

"Echo, glad you could make it." Izzy chirps, pressing a chaste kiss to her cheeks. He intertwined one of his hands with one of hers. He had given the girl her space since she spilled no information to the other. He'd catch Jughead giving him the stinke eye, but that was all the blue eyed boy ever got.

"I'm not so glad. Can we talk?" Echo voiced, wishing to end whatever weird relationship they had going. She didn't find it for the best to drag out something so dull.

"Can't it wait until tomorrow? Here." Izzy said, picking up a red solo cup of booze for the girl.

Echo rolled her eyes, prying her hands from his. She saw the glint of anger flash in his blue eyes, but she didn't give a flying fuck. "You drink it."

Izzy shrugged. He chugged the entire cup, allowing the yellow liquid to burn his throat on the way down. He decided to down two more cups as he settled on not letting the girl ruin his mood.

"Echo, there's no need for you to be a debby downer. Be happy." Izzy squeaks, gaining a frown from Echo.

"Bugger off, boy!" Echo shot back as she rushed off to search for her big brother. She wanted to stick by his side after everything she had endured the entire school year. She was beginning to believe she couldn't cope on her own. Her brother had reassured her she was indeed strong, but weren't you weak if you let someone sexually abuse you without your approval?

Izzy frowned at the words she tossed his way. He was wondering if he should give up trying with the girl of his dreams. He'd already gotten what he desired from the girl, but it wasn't worth the wait. Of course, Echo was not his first anything so he could let her go if he chose to.

He would need to make sure Echo wasn't about to run her mouth to her friends about him. If not then he would have to do the one thing he didn't want to do to his former best friend. He loved her at the same time he hated the girl. He was aware from that moment on- there was something seriously wrong with his entire being.

Jughead had been busy snapping at Betty who was in tears by the end of their argument. He rushed from the house to gather some air, finding himself in the garage as Archie chased after his friend.

Echo rolled her eyes, striding over to Betty. She put a hand on the blonde girl's shoulder. "He didn't mean whatever it is he said. He snapped at me too for this party."

Betty inhaled sharply, nodding as she took in the words of what Echo preached. She shot the Jones girl a grateful smile. "I wanted things to be perfect for him. I've never been someone's girlfriend."

"Oh, what?" Echo knits her eyebrows together. The news of her brother having a girlfriend is news to her.

"Thank you, Echo. You're a good friend." Betty sniffled, pulling Echo into a long embrace.

Echo wore disdain loud as day. What is with all these people touching her? It's not like she fancied human contact. Did that make her weird for wanting her personal bubble to be free of those around her? Probably, but the brunette girl with blue highlights didn't give a flying fladoodle.

"You're a good...erm, twinkie?" Echo says, patting the blonde ponytail of Betty. She really wanted to leave the girl dry and high.

Archie and Veronica were soon making small talk while Jughead took a moment to himself.

The beanie wearing boy returned to his pity party a short while later. His ocean eyes flicker to the teal color belonging to his baby sister. He was still a bit peeved off at said girl. He stuck his hands into the pocket of his jeans as he leaned up against the door entrance.

"I'm not a twinkie." Betty said, snickering as she released her grip on Echo.

"It's the best I could come up with." Echo said, nonchalantly shrugging. She decided to leave Betty be as soon as she waved Veronica over.

Echo dipped out to stalk over to have a word with her jerkish brother.

Jughead arched an eyebrow at his sister, staying silent as best as he could for the time being. He chose to give the girl the silent treatment.

Echo licked a pointer finger than proceeded to poke his cheek which had him gagging.

"Yuck, Echo! What did you do that for?" Jughead voiced, earning a smirk from said girl. He knew why she did it. To get under his skin.

It's usually how Echo got him to speak up when he chose to give her the cold shoulder. "To give you a taste of your own medicine."

Jughead pulled her into him, ruffling her head which messed it up. "Well, here's a gift from me to you then, Icky."

Echo tried to pull from his grip, but failed. She was half tempted to stomp down on his foot, but felt as if it would be too hostile on his part. Instead, she chose to plead with her ignoramus of a brother.

The party took a turn for the south which oversaw the likes of FP Jones calling it off. This left a select few in the living room with Cheryl Blossom starting a riot between friendships that night.

Cheryl seemed to forget the existence of Echo for whatever reason she saw fit. She didn't even bat an eyelash in her direction.

Echo kept wondering if she should react or be concerned for the fact that the redhead wasn't picking on her. She didn't know the cheer captain to be lenient or friendly with anyone which made her suspicious.

"Cheryl, why don't you quit tearing people apart? You're a snobby, rich brat that no one at school happens to like. Haven't you noticed? The popular girls are the most unloved." Echo spouted off as soon as some of her friends hurried off from the Andrews household.

Cheryl's eyes briefly flashed offense, puzzling the brunette. She was the third person to unwillingly leave the Andrews household, leaving Archie, Betty, Jughead, and Izzy.

Of course, FP Jones had begun to leave after the party died down with him getting the last word.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow." Betty choked out, wishing to escape the stares of Archie and Jughead.

Echo remained silent, waiting for her big brother so they could leave or stay. She'd follow him until she felt safe once more.
