My day was almost going well until Tutweiler stuck me with London. I didn't mind the brunette on most occasions, but I knew this time I'd be easier to make angry.

London was staring at me like we hadn't met before.

"That color is ugly on you." London informed me with a grin on her face.

"My clothes or my-"

"Who's hair color is actually purple? It does not do you justice." London cut me off before I could finish getting a word in edgewise.

I clenched my jaw shut tight, and reminded myself she's an idiot who doesn't know any better. I was thinking of what to say when Brandon walked over.

"How goes it?" Brandon inquired.

London raised her hand in the air like she could answer.

I shook my head in disbelief. I was so fed up, and aggravated.

"Life sucks. Cody, and I are still not on speaking terms, and I'm stuck with her. I don't know what could be worse." I let out a sigh as London scoffed at my words.

"Who's her?" She asked dumbly causing Brandon to chuckle at her.

"Look, Cassidy things have got to get better between you two at some point. I have a plan that might or might not work." Brandon chose to ignore London as I nodded in agreement.

"A plan for what?" London asked suspiciously like she would figure it out, but everybody knew she wouldn't.

"I don't have any plans made." I gave him a small smile, but the pain was still on the inside awaiting it's turn to take over.

"Good. Meet me in my cabin, tonight. Let's say when classes get out." Brandon informed me with a wink, and he walked off.

I yawned, and almost jumped out of my skin when Bailey joined us without me realizing it.

"Life sucks." Bailey whined as I tilted my head sideways at her curiously.

"I know how you feel. What's got you down?" I spoke with a tinge of sadness evident in my voice.

Bailey stared at me suspiciously, and seemed to register something.

"Cody has got me down. He won't even look me in the eye even after he begged for me to take him back." Bailey answered causing more sadness to become evident.

"You mean that tall, and skinny blonde snowflake?" London inquired with disgust highlighting her tone.

Bailey shrugged, but nodded in response to her stupid question.

"At least, he'll talk to you whereas he won't even acknowledge my presence." I informed her with an overwhelming sense of reality reminding me that I'm alive, and breathing.

"It's probably because, you're both so hideous, and boring." London giggled, and ditched us.

We were the only ones left at the juice bar.

"I wonder why. What did you do to make Cody hate you?" Bailey asked causing my anger to rise again.

Why was it always something I had done, and not something someone else had brought on? Sighing, I shook my head at her, and tried to forget she existed as I decided to get ready for my upcoming class. I wasn't in no mood to befriend anybody. I trudged onto my room to change clothes until something crossed my mind. I stopped outside the door in the hall, and ended up really thinking about what I had been told.

I finally made up my mind what to do when the door to the room across from ours opened to reveal Cody. I never flinched away from something or somebody really bad until that moment, and I took a step back the other way.

Cody was staring at me with a look that held no emotions whatsoever.

I sighed, and scurried off to go find Moseby when it hit me. I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion when I realized that Cody had dyed his hair black which is probably what had me flinching away from him. I didn't know, but I bumped into Woody along the way of not knowing where I was headed.

"Cassidy... ? Where ya headed?" Woody asked with hope in his eyes, and voice.

I stared up at him in confusion.

"Do you know where Moseby is?" I asked causing him to furrow his brows together in confusion.

Woody looked thoughtful a moment before opening his mouth to speak. He was about to get a word out when Zack bumped into him with a look of mischief on his face.

"What are you two doing?" Zack asked, looking from Woody to me with concerned, and curious eyes.

I sighed in frustration, "I'm looking for Moseby."

Moseby came into view which sent Zack hiding behind me like I could shield him from the wrath of a man that could get so angry. He looked ticked off, and my mind could only guess the obvious.

I could feel the sparks emitting off of Zack's hands that he had placed lightly on my back, but enough to make me feel aware of my other senses. I took a deep breath as Moseby approached, and tried not to have a heart attack.

"Zack!" Mr. Moseby yelled causing all three of us to flinch like he had slapped us.

"Look, Mr. Moseby, I needed to get your attention." Zack anxiously told Moseby who still looked ticked off.

Stress can do that to a person.

"You needed to get my attention by dropping raw eggs on my head? For what?" Moseby asked through clenched teeth. His head was still sticky looking from egg.

I sighed, and tried to hold back a laugh. I thought the whole situation was comical.

"So you could meet the daughter you never raised. Your name is on Cassidy's birth certificate." Zack shrugged with a guilty look plastered on his face.

Mr. Moseby looked shocked, and looked me up, and down. He went from being shocked to biting his bottom lip like he was trying to keep himself from crying.

I watched him with fear freezing my insides. I seemed to be the only one taking the news swell as he began to speak again.

"The daughter I signed off on for adoption because, I wasn't ready for kids?" Mr. Moseby asked with tears forming in his eyes.

"I think she's the only one they were talking about." Woody added causing all eyes to focus on him.

I had all these horrible thoughts about how my biological parents were going to reject me, but apparently my thoughts were wrong. I was pulled into a long, and welcoming embrace by Moseby who began sobbing into my shoulder.

Woody looked like he was about to cry, and so he tried to grab a hold of Moseby who shoved him away.

I really didn't know how to hug Moseby, so I remained unable to wrap my arms around him as fear was the main thing riding me.

"Could you let go of me?" I asked, and he let go of me reluctantly.

"Are you not happy to have-"

"I'm used to being rejected. Just ask Zack. Oh, and who could forget Cody?" I cut Moseby off with a bitter smile, and hurried away from the three of them. Sure, I knew that Moseby cared in a way, but of all the years passing I didn't need blood relatives, now.
