*Percy's POV*
Being a god, I assumed my days of horrible demigod nightmares and such were over. I never really expected to have more crappy dreams but of course, guess what happened anyway. Never could catch a break, so it shouldn't be surprising.
I was trying to rest off some of the stuff that happened in the day when I started having nightmares. I saw the tower. I saw demigods dying. I saw a horrifying Chaos standing on top of his menacing tower, but the worst of it all? I saw someone falling rapidly.
I never did get to see the end of my little dream that I had going on. I was interrupted by a camper bursting into my cabin. Apparently, there was something urgent that they had to show me. It was quite obvious what it was though when I left my cabin.
The sky was completely dark. It wasn't night time dark, either. Dark, black clouds covered what should've been a nice and blue sky. Using my powers to check the time, I'd only been a sleep for a little while so it should've been day. The camper pointed to the tower, and I saw the other part of the issue.
The tower had red lightning shooting out into the sky from its sharp pillar like things. When the lightning shot out, you could just barely make out a figure standing on top, watching. I knew who it was. Chaos. The mastermind and leader of the enemy. I thanked the camper and walked to the command tent.
To say everyone was freaking out was an understatement. Never sure if I'd ever seen them so messed up and scared in my life. They were panicking and trying to figure out a strategy. No Artemis, though. It took a lot to hold back the blush. It was hard to forget what happened earlier..
I listened to the conversations for a little while when Artemis finally appeared. She didn't look at me or say anything, but that was kinda expected. After all, it was pretty awkward. Finally, I couldn't stand it, and walked over to talk to her, hoping I didn't die. I had some genuine plans for the battle though, that needed to be discussed.
I tried to be as casual as possible, but my face was pretty red. I could feel it burning. As I walked up to her, she looked down, almost as if she was trying to shadow her face. I gulped, preparing myself and hoping that she didn't just send me off and ignore me for the rest of the day.
"Hey, so, we need to talk about Kronos and the healing thing. I was thinking.." We talked for a little while. At first, she didn't seem to like my strategy very much, but ended up agreeing to it anyway. We called the campers together and discussed, giving them the run down of what was going to happen.
We met up at the front of the camp a little while later. When everyone was ready, we started our march towards the enemy tower. We were hoping this random attack would throw the enemy off. I looked to Artemis and she nodded, and I nodded as well. We had to be quick, or the demigods could die.
The biggest problem with this plan was the fact the demigods could very easily die from it. They'd be fighting the titans and the entire monster army on their own, and there was no guarantee our mission would be successful. I knew, though, that Artemis and I would have to do our best and not fail.
As we got closer to the tower, a sudden horn was blown from it. Monsters came pouring out from around it, rushing towards us. We began to run as well, getting closer and closer to the monsters. Just as we were about to clash, I grabbed Artemis and a huge rock came out from where we were standing.
We were launched high in the air as the demigods and monsters below us clashed and fought. After a moment of being in mid air, we landed on top of the tower, but unfortunately, we didn't land on our feet. Standing up, I brandished my sword. Looking over, I saw the guy who I thought I'd see.
It was Chaos.
It was obviously no secret to me he'd be here. After all, I was pretty surprised he didn't personally show up at camp to defeat me. "Well, Chaos. Hiding up here like the coward you are. Quick funny how it works out." I said, giving him one of my classic smirks. He just glared at me, not a great sign at all.
"Please, Percy Jackson. Like I'd waste my time with the demigods. I knew you'd come here, which is why I waited. The prophecy foretold it." He said, looking around as he raised his arms. Then I understood what he meant. The whole prophecy was based around this one big event happening.
"It was my plan from the moment I heard the prophecy to kill you. However, I could not directly defy the prophecy unless I really wanted to screw everything up for the universe and balance, so I had to wait my time out. Seeing you slowly rise to power, up until now, where you are standing in front of me, waiting for death." He grinned and laughed like a maniac.
I narrowed my eyes at Chaos, noticing something about him. He seemed really unstable. Before, Chaos was much more orderly. Now he actually fit his name, as if he was going to explode and destroy the entire universe any second. Wasn't exactly a pleasant thought, but it went through my mind anyway.
Artemis gave Chaos a cold glare. "Innocent people and demigods are going to die because of you. They're dying right now. And you can just live with that? Destroying your own creations just because they gained power as well?" She asked, referring to Percy a little bit. Chaos just laughed at her, still.
"You think you've figured it out, Artemis? The only reason I'm killing off the demigods and such is to avoid another accident like Percy, someone who's power goes so high that they eventually have to be put down and stopped. And that's what I am here to do right now." A galaxy sword appeared in his hand.
I held my sword up, ready at any moment to rush forward and attack the creator. Artemis also had her knives out now, in a stance that clearly showed she was ready for a fight.
At the same time, Artemis and I launched at Chaos.

AN: Pretty short chapter, but I think the upcoming chapters will be a little bit longer. By the way, when I say blood and I'm talking about a god, just assume I mean ichor. You don't have to correct my every mistake, though I do appreciate the comments. Thanks guys.
