About twenty minutes has passed before arriving at Xcon's place. I was glad nothing happened during my walk as I walked up to her door and knocked. I stood there for a moment before the door opened. Xcon looked through the gap and looked a bit surprised.

"Gold? I was wondering where you have gone." She said.

Xcon opened the door fully and welcomed me in. I walked into her house as she closed the door.

"Yeah… I was in, um… Someplace… Just needed to do some business I guess." I told her.

"Oh. Glad it went well then. So you just got back?" She asked.

"Yeah, yesterday. It was pretty exhausting and all… But I'm back." I replied.

Xcon nodded and sat down.

"So you came to visit me, eh?" She chuckled softly.

"Um, well, yeah. It's been a little since we last talked." I said.

I looked around but I heard a thud on the table. This made me look back as I noticed a book. Xcon noticed my confusion and brushed some fur to the side that hung in front of her face.

"You completely forgot already?" She looked at me.

Looking at the book, I didn't really know what she was talking about.

"Jeez… You really did. Well, while you were gone, I was busy working on this." She told me.

"Work… Oh, wait, I remember now. Weren't you documenting different plants or something? Think she'd make a good match for Ivy and Icy." I thought the last part.

"Yep. I'm working on different mixtures too. Reason why I brought this up, is to see if you discovered anything on your journey." She said.

"Uh… This is sorta random, but no. I don't recall really scanning plants and all." I said.

"Dang. Well, thanks anyways. So… Are you gonna go back home now?" She asked.

"Eh, I got time. But I guess Dagger will get worried." I replied.

Xcon got up and nodded, picking up the book. She then walked to a bookshelf and slid it into a slot.

"Well, you might wanna get home now. It was nice for you to visit since I started getting worried… Went to check on you like two days ago but Dagger said you were gone for a week without a word." She said.

"Um, yeah, sorry about that. I'll try and stay in contact and tell you the next time I go somewhere." I told her.

"Sounds good. Oh. Mind if I visit tonight? Living here alone is sorta driving me insane…" She said.

"Um, sure. I already have two visitors, but you can visit too." I said.

"Nice. I'll be there around seven." She told me.

"O- okay. Well, I'm gonna go now." I said.

Xcon nodded and soon walked off to leave me alone. Once she entered a different room, I just turned around and walked to the front door. Opening it, I slowly walked out and looked around. I didn't really know what else to do at the moment, so I decided to get back home before Dagger freaks. So I walked back home and it only took ten minutes.

When I reached my place, I entered and noticed Dagger just talking with the two. Smiling softly, I just walked upstairs and into the bathroom. I undressed and just showered for half an hour, enjoying the hot water since I hadn't really felt it in a bit and it felt amazing.

Upon finishing my shower, I dried, got dressed, and walked down, sitting next to Dagger who looked at me.

"Hey. We were just talking about some stuff. Mainly just places that will be fun to go to this weekend." He said.

"Huh… I won't mind going somewhere fun." I replied.

Dagger smiled and nodded. Ivy and Icy looked and shrugged slightly before getting up, saying they will be outside. They just left while talking about some random stuff.

"Gold?" Dagger suddenly spoke.

"Hmm?" I looked at me.

"Um… I was wondering something." He said.

"And what is that?" I asked.

"Well… While you were gone, a knock came from the door. When I opened it, I noticed a box which has your name on it." He said.

"Huh…? Where did you put it?" I asked.

"In our room on your bed." He replied.

"Okay. Stay down here, alright? I'm gonna check what it is." I told him.

Dagger agreed and laid on the couch as I got up. This box, I wasn't expecting anything so it caught me off guard when Dagger told me it had my name on it. I somewhat feared the worse, and I was correct to do so as when I went upstairs and into our room, I noticed the box. A simple brown cardboard box. Nothing special about it. But when I walked up to it and gently picked it up, placing it on the table, I opened the top and stopped. The box contained a note along with a small chest. This confused me as I took the chest and tried opening it. It wouldn't move, so I forgot about it for now and picked the note up.

"Meet at the park north of your place." It simply read.

There was a letter on the bottom of the page which said 'E'.

"What the…? E…? Who the hell is that?" I told myself.

This entire thing just felt very wrong. A strange package sent to me with one line of text and an E. I wasn't sure who this mysterious 'E' was. I wasn't even sure if I should go and meet this mystery Pokemon.

"This doesn't feel right at all…" I told myself and placed the stuff back in the box, closing it.

"This doesn't feel right not one bit…" I sighed and placed the box under my bed.

After placing the box under the bed, I just got up and shook my head. I wasn't sure what to think about this honestly. Maybe visiting might not be so bad. However, it did make me feel very uneasy. I have no idea who this Pokemon is. It could be someone interested in kidnapping me or something. But I wouldn't discover who they are if I don't go. It was quite a choice to decide, but in the end, I decided to give it a look and ditch the moment I sense trouble.

Not going right that moment, I just enjoyed the day with Dagger along with Ivy and Icy who were mainly doing their own thing instead of doing stuff with us. It didn't bother us since we thought they had some stuff to do. So without really thinking upon it, Dagger and I just enjoyed the day. We mainly just played something then watched a few movies, but after that, I began thinking about that note again. I think it was time to at least check it out. So when the time read 6 PM, I decided to go. So I told Dagger that I would be back in an hour. He seemed a little frightened, but I ensured him I wouldn't disappear again. This calmed Dagger as he slowly nodded.

With that done, I walked out after grabbing my jacket and putting it on. I then headed north. I knew what that note was tell me. There was a park just north from here about a mile away, so I knew how to get there without getting lost.

And I did reach the park about ten minutes of jogging slightly. When I reached the park, I slowly looked around and saw nothing at all. No other Pokemon doing their things or anything.

"Hmm… Well, this isn't really a popular place anyways… So this isn't odd or anything." I told myself.

I found a bench and sat down, waiting. The wait was about five or ten minutes before I heard something crunching behind me. I turned to face the sound and noticed a Raichu just a few feet away.

"Uh…" I looked confused.

Looking at him, he stared back and walked closer before he was just inches from me.

"Err… You're Gold, right…?" He spoke.

"Yeah?" I replied.

The Raichu fell silent and removed a bag which was on his back before opening it. He then reached in and took out an envelope. He gave it to me and quickly vanished like he quickly appeared. I looked so confused at this and looked down to the envelope. I closed my eyes slowly and soon opened it. Once I opened it, I looked in and noticed some money. I checked over it and noticed it was a grand in hundreds.

"Uh…" I titled my head and noticed a note.

Slowly taking it out, I read it.

"Thanks for the help… Here's something for your trouble…"

"So… This is Luk paying me for helping him…? That's… Pretty nice." I told myself.

Looking around, I started to think however.

"Why did I have to go here though just to give me a note? A note delivered by someone else instead of him." I spoke to myself.

Placing the note and cash in the envelope again, I just shook my head and shrugged.

"Fine with me… At least it wasn't across the region for a simple note." I told myself.

I placed the envelope in my jacket and shrugged once more, unsure what to think about this as I started to walk back home without thinking much of it. It was odd he didn't just deliver it to my house, but fine with me. Free money and I don't get to see Luk anymore. I am happy for that.

So when I reached my home, I entered and looked around to notice Dagger watching some TV with the two.

"Hey, I'm back." I announced.

Dagger turned and smiled, nodding and returning to watching the show that was on at the moment. I didn't really want to join them right that moment, so I just walked upstairs and into my room. Once in my room, I fell onto my bed and sighed softly. I flipped onto my back and stared at the roof.

"Man...What a journey…" I told myself, closing my eyes.

It was pretty nice laying in my bed, so I just enjoyed it and soon pulled my phone out.

"This is much better then running from a murderous truck and all…" I said.

I then fell silent, just enjoying myself and watching some videos on my phone. But after twenty minutes of mindlessly watching stuff, I heard the door open. When I looked, I noticed Dagger looking in and at me.

"Hey, just wanted to come get you since Xcon is here." He said.

"Oh, okay. I'll be there in a moment." I told him.

Dagger smiled and left, leaving the door opened. I laid there for a moment before putting my phone away. Getting up, I walked towards the door and walked downstairs. I reached the first floor and saw Xcon, just chatting with everyone. I walked up to her and she suddenly hugged me.

"Hey, I'm here, heh." She said.

Nodding, she departed and let out a short giggle.

"Well, it's getting pretty late. I should start getting dinner done." Dagger suddenly spoke and walked into the kitchen.

As Dagger left into the kitchen, I just walked towards the couch as the three followed and sat with me. Ivy and Icy just spoke about their adventures to Xcon who seemed interested. I didn't really take part, but I did talk to them for a bit before Dagger walked out and grabbed me. I looked confused but followed as he lead me to the kitchen.

"Hey, I kinda wanna ask something." He said.

"Huh?" I looked at him.

"Well… I wanted to know if you'd want to do something tomorrow. Sorta been searching and I found a pretty hidden beach not more then twenty miles from here." He said.

"Oh, um… Sure. Sounds nice. I do like the beach." I replied.

Dagger smiled and nodded before rushing out into the living room, telling the three that food was finished. They walked in as I sat down. We then started to eat and enjoyed the rest of the night...
