"Asriel, wake up. I mean you can stay in before you go and tell everyone."

Chara's voice. Warm sunlight shocks me awake in my room of pastel cutout stars. Taking down the Frisk poster at a tap I turn to Chara by my bed and pass an arm through her green sweater, forgetting she's a holo.

Frisk pats her on the back. "Let him take his time. He still has a body. Hey Asriel, we've won."

I've killed more Frisks than I could count. I gather will to say it. "What do you think if like, all this never happened? If we're still back home under Mt. Ebbot?"

Frisk clutches her face. "Don't say it. That was a really dumb idea. Our real home is the stars no matter what's out there, and nothing's more perfect than what people make themselves."

Chara turns to me. "Enough. Let's not ruin the fun with regret and mistakes talk."

The move comes after the Voidglitch, formally renamed Contemplation, gave go-ahead with a list of requests (see list). Nullity's Gate is now deemed Foreign Xeno Property, and physical contact shall only occur as Contemplation agrees.

Tyrazerg420: #JoinAsriel really paid off. You rock Azzy. Wonder what new stuff we'll learn from #NullityGate

HelluvaBae: #BadAzzy wanted for murdering #RealFrisk and all we have now is an illegal Scone. We're all stuck in this * world. #KillAsriel #WeLost #FriskPrimeWasRight

Ailurus_D3press: Don't listen to the haters. The perfect world is right here and #AzzySavedUs.

I scroll through my new press speaking invites and mark them all for later. I pause by one: New Kids at the History Club.

Berrin calls me. "Your publicity has been very good since yesterday, yet we've upped security at your press invites over a few threats. The judge also ruled that the Frisk who's alive is legally Frisk. Was going to set all charges on the copy you killed, but Frisk plead guilty to memory tampering and attempted murder. This trial can take months. Also, thanks for your service."

I thank him silently and call Toriel.

Toriel looks tired. "Do only what you're ready for. We'll do the History Club later if you want to join."

"Yeah mom. Bet I surprised you with that pod thing."

Toriel: "I got over that, but yes it's nice to have you back."

"No problem." I turn off the lights and head out into the city, watching ships fly into the Hyper and news-holos show off my fight yesterday. With so many choices to take I wonder where to go first.
