The Reagans were gathered around the dinner table, eating a nice Sunday dinner like always. Erin was talking about her job when a nine month pregnant Linda felt a twinge of pain. The doctor had said any day now, and Danny and Linda made sure they were always ready for the arrival of their first kid. They kept Linda's suitcase in the car and were completely ready... or so Danny thought...

"I'm sorry... I don't mean to interrupt and be rude or anything..." Linda started, "but I think I'm going into labor."

Danny spit his wine back in the glass. "What?" He managed to choke out.

"I think I'm going into labor!" She repeated, very calmly.

"What? No, no, no, no, no!" He said as if it were one word. "You can't do that!"

"Come on, Linda," Mary stood up. "I'll help you." She walked over to her daughter in law as her son slightly panicked.

"Get a grip, Danny!" Joe informed his brother.

"How can you say that? She's going into labor, for Pete's sake!"

"I'm fine, Danny. Trust me," Linda told her husband.

"You sure? Cause I know that you know that we know that you're not supposed to freak out the baby!"

"It's the drakes out Daddy I'm worried about!" Erin smiled with a four year old Nicky on her hip.

"Uncle Danny be funny," she giggled.

"You're gonna burn yourself to the ground if you don't calm down," Jamie pointed out.

"You're right, you're right!" Danny took a deep breath. "I'm calm, I'm cool."

Linda took in a sharp breath and breathed out, "ow..." which sent Danny back into cuckoo land. As Linda headed out the door with Mary, she called, "will somebody please slap him?"

Jamie happily hit his brother upside the head.

"Jamie! What was that for?!" Danny glared at his brother.

"Thank you!" She called from outside the door.

"Come on!" Mary yelled. "Let's go!"

"Danny, you're not driving," Frank ordered him.

"What? I'm perfectly capable of— ow! Who put that door there?" Danny held his head after he ran into the door. "Maybe you're right..."

"Guys! I'm not about ta have a baby in the car!" Linda yelled at the rest of the family.

"Coming!" Joe pushed past them.

"He's so beautiful," Danny smiled down at his son a few hours later.

Linda smiled from ear to ear. "A beautiful baby boy."
