Yugi was right things weren't going well with Joey's cooking lessons. Joey almost set the kitchen on fire twice, caused William to suffer from food poisoning, nearly caused his mother a heart attack when she saw the state of her kitchenafter Joey somehow blew up the blender putting a soccer ball size whole through the wall, and poor Yugi almost had flaming hot eggs sent flying into his face, had it not been for the spirit of the millennium puzzle taking over to duck out of harms way at the last possible second.

Needless to say Joey's cooking lessons were not going as well as William had hoped they would be. Yugi walked silently beside William as they headed to school. William looked like he seen better days. He honestly looked stressed out but that might have something to do with him teaching Joey how to cook. Besides the fact Yugi's mom been trying to help out as well after the blender disaster.

"Wait for me!" Joey yelled making the pair pause for him to catch up so they could a walk to school together. Yugi's eyes widen in concern when he saw Joey's face.

"What in the name of Ra, happened to your face?" William asked as he stared at Joey's black eye and the fact he had a bandage on the left side of his face.

"Huh? Oh this? Well I sort of ended up in a fight after I left your place yesterday. Went up against four other guys but I totally clobbered them." Joey said grinning. "I onky got hit once."

"You know you still have cooking lessons with me after school right?" William asked.

"But I'm injured!" Joey cried out in disbelief.

"Wheeler, you're not getting out of my cooking lessons that easily besides it's either the lessons or wear a dog costume for a few months...Your choice." William said coldly.

"Uh joey, you don't want William carrying over his shoulders again right?" Yugi asked nervously as he remembered Joey trying to run away from William, only for William to chase after him, tackle him to the ground were he some how tied up Joey's hands as well as his legs with shoe laces before placing Joey over his shoulders and calmly carrying him back into the house as Joey screamed for help. William didn't care how people just stared at them as he did this.

"Not really. Damn...My luck has been so bad lately." Joey grumbled only for a heavy metal object to come crashing down just millimeters from landing on Yugi had William not suddenly yanked Yugi backwards at the last possible second.

Yugi and Joey instantly freaked out badly. William glared upwards at the man who was working on the power lines. The man looked down sheepishly at them. "Sorry about that! You kids okay?!"

"Watch what your doing! Before you get someone killed! Your lucky we aren't hurt or worse dead!!" William shouted up at the man in annoyance. The man only laughed nervously at that as William rolled his eyes at him.

"More bad luck..."Joey whimpered.

"That was way too close...Thanks, William. " Yugi said with a smile.

William only gave him a tiny smile before they began walking towards the school. Only to hear everyone talking about a student in class A who was supposedly a psychic. This news only irritated William to no end, since he knew to many fakes and all the people who abuse suppose psychic abilities to scam people.

"No way, Kokurano is a Psychic!?" Yugi and Joey yelled.

"More like an imposter, trying to impress the ladies and get the instant popularity vote no doubt." William muttered under his breath.

"His predictions are rather accurate, William." Tea said softly.

"Say William...are you by any chance a psychic?" Yugi asked. William gave him a confused stare. "I mean I've noticed you seem to know things before they happen to some degree?"

"I'm not a psychic, just cautious." William said calmly. Josh, however was a rather gifted person who had the odd habit of making predictions that often had a sixty percent chance of coming true but he's been wrong a few times on his predictions even though some of the events weren't exactly how he stated them to happen but they latter did happen roughly a few months afterwards. He thought as he briefly wondered how his friends back home were doing.

"For being a cautious person, you do have the odd habit of knowing things before they happen to some degree..." Yugi said softly.

"Weirder things have happened...who knows." William said before he went back to his thoughts. Yugi, does have a point seeing how I sort of do know the future, since I'm from a completely different dimension where this world is only a very popular anime, which I have yet to determine if I should tell you guys or not about. I better talk to Ishizu or Shadi first, before I make my final decision on that subject.

"So that explains why all the girls been disappearing lately at recess. They been going to get their fortunes told, why haven't you Tea?" Tristan asked her.

"I'm not into that kind of stuff." She said calmly.

"Come on you guys, I gotta get my fortune told! I bet it could change my luck around! " Joey yelled as he took off running. However before left the room he had snatched up William's homework on his way out, knowing William would have to tag along as well.

"Joey, wait up!" Yugi yelled as they followed after him.

" Joey, give me back my homework, Damn it! " William shouted in annoyance as he ran after him.

They soon arrived at Class A only to see a lot of girls waiting to get their fortunes told by Kokurano. William rolled his eyes as he snatched his homework Joey's hand. "Look at how many people are here to get their fortunes told." Yugi said starring at how many students were in the room to know their futures.

"This is rather pathetic... and a complete waste of time." William grumbled as he sorted through his homework since Joey had obviously rearranged it as he searched through it while he was running.

"Do you really hate psychics this badly, William? " Tristan asked him softly.

"Not at all, seeing how there are real psychics out there as well as things we can never truly exsplain in this world or the next. What I truly hate is how some people will try to take advantage of others while they fill their heads with lies, or try to manipulate them in some way as they play on their hopes, dreams and emotions. Kokurano is no different. Besides I use to do Crystal ball readings besides palm readings, messed around with a spirit board, a few times even used tarot cards, and a few other arts of future telling, some super natural stuff and the darker spiritual stuff." William said.

"Were you any good? " Tristan asked.

"The only prediction I ever told that came true caused someone close to me to die a gruesome death. He was crushed to death by a falling tree a week after a girl that we both knew had died. I gave up trying to see into the future after that, besides the fact i use to mess around with some pretty dark shit, that could honestly piss off restless spirits to make a simple haunting turn deadly." William said sighing as he remembered all the dark stuff he use to do with his friends before things turned rather deadly for them.

"Are you regaining your memories? " Yugi asked with wide eyes.

"Just small fragments of them...more when certain events seem to trigger them." William said as he inwardly scolded himself.

Joey ignored this as he suddenly spoke rather loudly. "Tea, I can't believe you actually dragged us here!" He said.

"Excuse me?! Who, dragged who here!? " Tea snarled with wide eyes that promised bodily harm.

"Will you idiots, be quiet over there?! Lord Kokurano, is in deep meditation to raise his spiritual awareness! Your negative energies are disturbing his natural energy flow that helps him to see through the fabrics of time and space!" A girl yelled at them.

"Give me a break...all this is one big scam." William said in a dull voice. Before the girl could scold him Kokurano waved his hand in a dismissive movement causing her to fall silent.

"You do not believe in my powers do you, William Dracon?" He asked him.

"Your right, I don't believe in your powers...Kokurano. In fact I'm pretty sure your a fake. A low life creep who is purposely making the predictions that you foretell, come true with cheep tricks or purposely doing in order to make them come true in order make yourself look like your a real psychic." William said with a forced friendly looking smile. That oddly looked like a wolf about to go in for the kill.

Kokurano leaned back a bit in fear as he remembered William was secretly nicknamed the red wolf of Domino High School, because of how intimidating he could be. "Say Tea, maybe you should get your fortune told." Joey said with a smile.

"Why me?! " Tea snapped.

"I have you know I am no fortune teller! I kokurano, have the power of premonition! The ability to see into the future!!" Kokurano yelled.

"Liar. " William muttered under his breath as he set his homework down onto a table.

"I can see you still do not believe me...I Kokurano will write down on this piece of paper of an event I foresee that will happen in three minutes. After the event has passed I will have you Joey Wheeler read it out loud." He said as he took out a pen and scribbled something down.

Everyone waited only for the whole room to seem to have trembled violent right on the third minute mark but William didn't at all look impressed if anything he looked more annoyed. "An earthquake?!" A few girls asked in concern.

"Joey, please read the note out loud to everyone. " Kokurano said as he handed the note to Joey.

"Earthquake today." Joey said.

" See...what did I tell you?! " he laughed as all the girls cheered.

"Hold it, right there Kokurano. This proves nothing seeing how there is construction going on near by that caused the tremble of the building. You most likely found out the time they were going to start just to claim it was an earthquake." William said yawning as the room fell deathly silent. "Believe what you want, but this is all one big fat joke, if you ask me." William stated as moved to leave Kokurano growled in rage.

"I foresee a terrible accident falling upon you, William Dracon!" Kokurano yelled as he twitched his body unnaturally as William turned to look at him with a bored expression. "I can see you taking a terrible fall down the stairs today!" Yugi, Joey, Tristan and Tea all stiffened up at that.

William narrowed his eyes as he snarled in a low tone as he moved towards Kokurano as he than suddenly gripped his shirt making Kokurano cry out in fear as William lifted him up off his seat one handed as Kokurano than tensed in pure fear as William curled his lips back revealing his unnatural and unusually sharp looking teeth. William was growling like a pissed off wolf.

His golden color eyes held no ounce of warmth or friendliness with in them, just cold fury that promised death. "Try it and I promise you will regret ever tangling with me." William hissed in such a deadly tone as his eyes flashed to a very bright yellow color making Kokurano gulp in fear as William than released his shirt as he dropped him making Kokurano yelp as he hit the floor.

William than turned away and left the room swiftly before anyone could say a word to him. Kokurano sat there trembling in slight fear whatever he saw keeping deep with in William's eyes it was no way human. "Lord kokurano, are you alright?" A girl asked him.

"S-some people do not take well of learning their future. Now than...Tea how about I read your future?" Kokurano asked in a hope filled tone as he tries calm his frantic beating heart.

Tea looked unsure about it but Joey and Tristan edged her into it. Yugi looked rather annoyed and concerned. He was also worried about how William reacted to all this and the fact he could tell William had held back on what he really wanted to do to Kokurano. William in his own way was like a puzzle, a very complicated one but once you began seeing through the cracks of his mask, he was rather easy to read to some degree.

William stormed down the hallway back to the classroom when his bracelet suddenly clamped down tightly onto his wrist making him wince in pain as he stared down at his bracelet. The eyes of Anubis were wide open glowing blood red.

"What has you all fired up?" William asked his bracelet. The bracelet's scorpion like tail than suddenly moved pointing back to class A. "You want me to go back there?" He asked feeling a bit creeped out with his item. The eyes blinked twice up at him. William sighed as he turned to walk back to class A. The eyes of Anubis than closed as the tail went back into its normal position.

Kokurano took Tea's hand as he spoke. "Yes, I see your future Tea. I foresee a wonderful man who will appear before your very eyes, I can tell he is some who is already close to you." He spoke as he stared at Tea with a longing look in his eyes.

A wonderful man? Hmmm. ...I wonder if it is the same man who saved William and myself...Tea wondered with a slight blush that wasn't noticeable. "You will fall so deeply in love with this man, that you'll swoon before him. You will meet him tonight..." Kokurano said as he released Tea's hand.

" day can you read my future next? " Joey asked making Kokurano roll his eyes.

"Your having bad luck."

" that is exactly my problem, you see... "

"Not interested...next!" Kokurano said before he looked at Yugi who looked bored and not very impressed. " how about you Yugi, want me to tell you your future? "

I hate to be rude, however I think William was right. Even though I'm sure psychic powers really do exist, but I have a feeling that most Psychics are just fakes like William said, since I remember seeing a similar trick like this on TV. For example if you write 'earthquake today' and other predictions on cards before hiding them in your clothes, those wouldn't be real predictions. " Yugi said softly.

"Are you saying my powers are fake?! I'll show you..." Kokurano growled as he made his body twitch unnaturally. "I foresee your future! Countless letters will fall from the heavens as they bring a complete disaster upon you, Yugi!" He yelled as he pointed at him.

"You better not be threatening my friend. " William growled making Kokurano freeze as he saw William standing there in the door way with his eyes practically glowing a bright yellow color as the shadows of the hallway seemed to give him a more menacing appearance to him. Kokurano gulped in fear.

"Why are you-?" He asked nervously.

"Forgot my homework that Joey took from me, earlier." William said as he picked up his homework off a table to make his point. "Come on we better get back to our class." William said as Joey, Tristan, Yes and Yugi followed him. William could see Kokurano's words were troubling Yugi deeply. He reached out and gently ruffled Yugi's hair making Yugi jump slightly as he stared up at him. "Don't let Kokurano's words get to you, he's just using scare tactics to make his predictions more believable. Cheapest trick in the book of you ask me."

Yugi have him a small smile. "Yeah Yugi, besides you have us who won't allow any harm come to ya!" Joey said grinning.

"In fact why don't all of us go shopping after school?" William suggested.

"Sure!" Tea and Yugi said grinning.

" I can't, I have to babysit my big sister's demon spawn. " Tristan said grimacing.

"A shopping trip huh? That sounds like fun, count me in! Wait, what about my cooking lessons? " Joey asked as William smiled sweetly at him.

"We need to pick up supplies...after all you used up all the salt, milk, pepper, vegetables, rice and the fact i need to buy Yugi's mom a new blender." William said grinning. "Besides...you're not getting out of this that easily, Wheeler."

"Damn it... " Joey grumbled. Yugi laughed at this before he went to his thoughts.

I can't but wonder what 'countless letters' means...Yugi thought quietly to himself as they took their seats as their classes started. William was heading to his math class as he approached the stairs case to go downstairs. William was using extreme caution because of Kokurano's threat to him earlier.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw Kokurano looking ready to shove him down the stairs, however he swiftly spun around as he grabbed Kokurano by the throat as he slammed him against the wall as he snarled in rage as his hair seemed to stand on end as it looked like it was bristling outwards.

"Want to try that again?" He snarled loudly in Kokurano terrified face. "Listen here and listen well, if you pull a stunt like this again with me or try anything on my friends, I will personally make sure no one will ever find your rotting corpse...do we have a clear understanding?!"

" Perfectly... " Kokurano gasped.

"Good, now get away from me..." He hissed as he released him as Kokurano took off running in pure fear. William growled lowly as he watched Kokurano take off. William knew only to well Kokurano would strike again. Only he will go after Tea and Yugi. The bracelet on his arm trembled in rage as William glanced down at it, the Anubis eyes were wide open glowing red as it's tail moved slightly. William's eyes glowed a slight red color. "This isn't gonna end well for me." William muttered softly under his breath.

After school Yugi was in the class room getting ready to leave for the day. Joey said he was going to wait at the entrance for them. He knew William had to see the music teacher to receive a music award from the battle of the bands and Tea she was most likely getting her things from her dance class.

That was when Yugi noticed a book sticking out of his desk that wasn't his but one of the school's library ones. "Huh? What is this doing here? I better go return it." Yugi said softly to himself as he walked towards the library unaware a shadow figure was following him.

Yugi entered the library. He began walking along the shelves of books to find the book's proper location. "Hmm...it should go somewhere around here..." Yugi said softly. Suddenly loud crashing sounds caught Yugi's attention as he turned to see the heavy book cases falling towards him. His eyes widen in horror as his millennium puzzle glowed. Countless letters!?

"Yugi!" William's voice shouted as a warm body collided with his own. As the dust began to settle Yami slowly opened his eyes as he suddenly stared up at William who was currently shielding his body from the fallen bookcase with his own body. " William!? " Yami yelled in disbelief and concern.

"I'm fine...just ow...who knew books could hurt so much besides a heavy bookcase...you okay?" William asked him.

"You're a complete idiot, your still injured and you pull a stupid stunt like this! I would have been okay! " Yami scolded him as William managed to lift the bookcase up enough for Yami to crawl free from the bookcase before William did the same at a much slower pace since he balancing the heavy bookcase before he inched his way to freedom until he was also free as the bookcase hit the floor. "You're bleeding!" Yami said as he noticed a dark stain coming through William's jacket right were he had been shot a few days ago.

"Tch...I'll be okay...however I'm more worried about Tea since that little puke Kokurano nearly tried shoving me down the stairs earlier today...He trying to make his predictions come true. Go help her, Yami...I'll be okay." William said as Yami's eyes narrowed as his expression turned dark.

"Wait here, and don't you dare move, until I get back with help William! " Yami spat in warning before he raced out of the room to help Tea. William only shook his head as he sat there in pain. "I'm so gonna feel this in the morning...For the love of Ra, Yami better not send me to the bloody hospital!" William grumbled bitterly.

Yami ran down the hallway in pure anger. The sennen eye was glowing brightly on Yami's forehead as he ran towards Tea's dance class. He was going to make Kokurano pay for this, however the spirit of the puzzle was a bit confused as to why William was so over protective of his host and it appeared that protection applied to him as well.

Deep down the spirit of the puzzle knew he had switched too late with his host and if William hadn't been there...their would have been a high possibility that Yugi could have been seriously injured or worse.

In Tea's dance class. She was still getting her things together unaware of the danger working in the shadows. Kokurano was pouring chloroform onto a cloth rag. "The future, I predicted is about to come true, my sweet Tea Gardner." Kokurano laughed insanely.
