*Percy's POV*
I watched in horror as a broken Artemis was thrown down, right off the tower, and disappeared in the crowd of monsters below. I reached out and tried to sense her, but I couldn't, and found that she wasn't there. The only explanation was- was- she was gone. Gone forever from me.
My vision turned blood red. How was this possible? How could I have let this happen? All the pain in my body flushed away as I trembled, the world around me starting to quake. The winds picked up and lightning flashed. The sea became violent, waves slamming into the beach and everything it could touch.
Riptide was in my hand now. I could feel my eyes glowing as I slowly turned towards Chaos, who was now backed up a little bit, a look of fear in his face. My power exploded as I screamed "I'LL KILL YOU!" The world around me shook violently, the elements becoming unrelenting. I launched forward at Chaos.
He tried to protect himself, but my rage was too strong. My first hit with Riptide broke the blade of his 'unbreakable' sword right in half. His eyes widened as I slashed a cut right across his chest and blasted him backwards. I called upon the elements as I let my rage out, screaming as I teleported in front of him.
I slashed, cut, tried to stab, I lost track of everything I did. All I knew is I would avenge my Artemis, my Arty. He tried to blast me back but I smacked the energy ball aside and continued slashing the Hades out of him, his body looking like one of the camp arena's training dummies after an Ares camper got ahold of it.
Chaos was backed up to the edge now. He teleported behind me and tried to kick me off, but I slammed my foot into his face and sent him flying towards the middle of the tower. Teleporting above him, I stabbed Riptide right through his chest, screaming as I put all my power into the blast that almost followed.
The blast that almost followed.
As I was expecting to be thrown from the explosion, I didn't. Looking down, Chaos' eyes glowed murderously. He screamed, and a huge blast was sent right through my chest. I was thrown far back, a huge gaping hole in the middle of my chest. I barely could think anymore.
*Third Person POV*
Chaos slowly rose, his anger flashing across the sky and world as he looked down at the struggling son of Poseidon. The only thing that kept Percy alive was his immortality. Otherwise, he would've already died. Chaos walked over, summong a powerful axe. He put his foot on Percy, and glared down at him.
"You have fought very well, Perseus Jackson, but even you have failed. Now, you will die at the hands of the creator, a true honor." Chaos raised his axe above him, pouring in his power and preparing to strike.
Down by the camp, the army of Olympus was slowly being pushed back towards the camp. Thalia was backed up, trying to shoot. However, she had one last arrow, a gift from Percy at one point that she never got to use. He said the arrow was strong and powerful. Then she got a horrible feeling.
Up on the tower, she saw Chaos with an axe raised above his head, standing right over Percy. Thalia screamed and began to cry. She looked up at the sky, and began to yell to the King of the Gods himself. "PLEASE! FATHER! SAVE HIM!" She screamed, tears dashing down her eyes. She was on her knees now.
Her prayer was not answered. Nothing happened as Chaos slowly charged up his axe with his power to ensure that the job was done correctly, and permanently. Thalia cried, but knew she had to do something. Taking her bow and grabbing the arrow, she pulled the bowstring back, and poured everything she had into the arrow.
She released the string.
Time seemed to move in slow motion. The arrow slowly flew above the battle field, up towards the tower. Everything Thalia had emotionally and power wise was in the bow. It flew over the demigods slowly dying from the monsters in the fight. The emotions and cries of the demigods for help poured into the arrow, with their power.
The gods hope for Percy to win, watching as their power and emotions too embued in the bow.
Everyone in the entire world felt their deaths looming over them, but there was one light in the darkness: the arrow, shined with hope. Their emotions, their hope embued into the arrow.
Lastly, Percy sensed the arrow. He knew what it stood for, what it meant. He remembered the Prophecy. Closing his eyes, he let all his power, all his emotions, all his love for Artemis, everything he had right into that last arrow.
The hope of everyone in the entire world, the hope of everything the Earth had, every living thing depended on it.
As Chaos finished charging up his axe, he swung it down to bring it right down on Percy's head. But before he could hit Percy, the arrow flew right into his chest.
Chaos backed up, choking as his axe fell out of his hand. He gripped the rest of the arrow that was sticking out of his chest. The hopes of the entire world poured into his body, and he started to glow with energy.
"No.. no.. it can't be.. No.. Never.. NOOO!" He screamed as he backed up and fell of the tower, falling down to the ground and exloding, sending waves of energy out everywhere. However, the energy gathered and swirled up into a little galaxy like thing hovering above the tower, the power of the creator.
It needed somewhere to go, something to host itself in, a person to be the new creator. Seeing Perseus Jackson laying there, about to die, the power flew right into him, making him the new Lord of the Universe.
Percy floated up, and his body was healed, he began to spin, and his power exploded out, causing the monsters to all distengrate. The tower beneath him exploded, falling down to the ground. The sky cleared up and the sea calmed down. The demigods were healed, the world was saved.
Percy floated down to the demigods. He stared, looking around, only worried about one thing.
"Where's Artemis?"
