A/N This story has been on Hiatus for a long time. But that was because life happened, my muse went and the reviews - but I've learnt not to care anymore. About anything. Now, if you don't like slash, don't read it. The pairing is obvious. It will be Harry and Peter when the time comes. So who's to say there can't be any drama and hurt for the pair in the mean time? Hense, Blaise Zabini. Now I've said this, onto the chapter.

"It's not wise to be late, Mr Potter!" Professor Dumbledork told him, Prince felt like he almost sneered. He was about to respond when Mr Bagman did it for him, hurrying the champions all into a circle. Reluctantly, Prince was placed beside Dumbledore and he withheld pulling a face as Cedric, Fleur and Krum were placed in order.

"Now. The aim of the task..." Prince didn't pay attention. He was distracted. Peter had had a huge go at him in front of everyone not even an hour before the first task. He said he was jealous, hurt... Asking why he wasn't good enough. Prince sighed internally, but before he got too deep into his thoughts, he heard his name called.

"Which leaves Prince, with the Hungarian Horntail." The man said as Prince pulled the dragon out of the bag. He cursed inwardly, that was the worst of the bunch. Luckily, seeing Bill and Charlie helped with last minute research and Prince had a plan. He didn't want to listen Professor Moody's advice, not trusting the man in the slightest.

Prince managed not to jump when the cannon went off unexpectedly, Fleur going first.

It was a long, painful wait. Prince was pacing back and fourth, deep in thought before he felt a tap on his shoulder. He blinked and looked at Ced before him. He smiled sadly and Cedric gave him a quick hug.

"You and Pete will figure it out. You always do." He said with a grin and Prince smiled a small smile.

"Aren't I meant to be giving you the pep talk?" Ced chuckled and mock saluted Prince before going out into the arena. Prince bit his lip and hoped his friend wouldn't get hurt too badly.

"And last but definitely not least, Mr Prince Potter!" Prince walked out with pace, making himself seen and the dragon roared, making Prince have to hide behind a rock. He was too busy focusing on the dragon to hear the cheers and oo's from the crowd. Very, very slowly, Prince peeked his head round the rock to see the dragon protecting the eggs, not having any fooling around. He stood, but stayed well back from said dragon before speaking.

"I mean you no harm," He hissed and the crowd suddenly went quiet, confused. The dragon seemed to blink a few times, as if thinking it had imagined someone talking in their ancient language. Prince took one more step closer.

"One of your eggs is a fake. I am not hear to harm you or the others," He tried again, if this didn't work, he did have a back up plan. After all, if he can prank vampires, he can surely beat a dragon... right?

"What trickery is this? Take the egg and go, child." The voice was gentle, but stern in the snake language and Prince nodded once, jogging over to the dragon and grabbing the egg he needed. He heard a few cheers but ignored them as he looked at the dragon.

"Thank you, lady dragon. I hope I will see you again, my friend Charlie will take good care of you." He spoke and bowed slightly, walking away.

"Wait, child. What is your name? I have not heard a speaker in a long, long time."

Prince paused mid step and smiled at the dragon, "I am Prince James Potter. What is yours?" He questioned curiously and he waited, after a moment, the dragon replied.

"Drakaina. I expect to see you again, Prince. Sooner than you think. Oh, and tell Charlie to up his game. I'm hungry." Prince chuckled and nodded, not feeling the need to reply to Drakaina. I will. I'll tell him.

He stepped into the tent and was hugged by Susan and Hannah, then Lucy, Susan and Ed with his friends including Blaise. Prince didn't let his sadness show when he didn't see Pete anywhere. He then grinned even more when he saw Bill and Charlie.

"Oh, Charlie. Drakaina is hungry," Prince spoke and Charlie blinked.

"That's her name? I was calling her Rosaline. See you soon brother," He said before jogging to the dragon in question and Prince smiled another small smile. It wasn't the same. It wasn't the same without Pete. Lucy hugged him again, but was forced to let go when the judges walked into the tent with the other champions.

"First place, Prince Potter. Second place, Viktor Krum, third place Cedric Diggory and fourth place is Fleur Deleclour. You all have a month to figure out what the second challenge is. Good luck,"

OoO

"Lucy..." Draco breathed out after his third transformation. Lucy moved to hold him, his arm over her shoulders as they moved to sit down. She didn't move away when he collapsed on the sofa, Lucy collapsing with him. It had been a long day for the both of them. Luce had tried to do some more planning, for Prince's sake, for the next round. But Pete's drama got in the way. Why was Pete always making a scene? Why was he so popular and she wasn't? What was so good about Pete... Lucy, no. Don't think about it like that. Be happy for Peter.

"Your thoughts are giving me a headache, Luce." Draco muttered, running a hand through her hair which was calming her ever so slightly. Lucy chuckled.

"Sorry Drake. It's just..."

"Prince, Pete. I know. It's always about them. Have you not once stopped to care about yourself?" He questioned softly, sounding tired of life. Lucy blinked a few times. She always cared for others. But... maybe he has a point? Does he?

"No." She replied honestly. Draco sighed.

"You should try it once in a while, Luce. You'll figure out who you really are then. And I'll still be there, by your side when you do." Draco spoke as he closed his eyes, going to sleep. Lucy stayed up a bit longer, not expecting life advice from Drake at three in the morning.

Prince's POV

Dear Silias,I don't think I can do this. The task. I... I don't want to be in this tournament at all. I'm hating every minute of it. Pete isn't talking to me and it's just not the same without him. I miss him more than he knows. Everyone seems so different this year. Lucy isn't talking with her usual friends, rather being more alone. Susan is alone as well, I don't think she is putting up with Roger anymore. And Pete is using his popularity to advantage, even more so this year for Ceds sake. I just don't know what to do and I'm at a loss.Tomorrow is the day of the second task and I, I'm ready than I can ever be, but... I'm just,I don't trust any of this. I have a bad feeling.

Prince Potter.

"Has anyone seen Pete? I haven't seen him since last night?" Ced asked the group as they walked down to the black lake with Lucy and Susan. Prince shrugged, unsure where he was himself. Unless... was he part of the task? Prince's eyes widened with slight shock. So even though I swore I wouldn't be with the light if they harmed my family, my friends... They still did? They still took Pete? He clenched his fists, trying to stop his anger from filling out as they reached where the other champions were.

"Good luck, Harry, we'll be here, don't worry." Luce spoke softly which calmed Prince down slightly as she gave him a hug.

He held Gilyweed in his hand and stood next to Ced, who was looking pretty damn nervous, perhaps even unsure. He didn't know who the judges had taken for Ced. Prince put the Gilyweed in his mouth and cringed at the unpleasant taste, making him want to throw up. He was pushed in by someone along with the other champions as they dived into the lake. He felt like he couldn't breathe, but after a few moments of wriggling, he realised his body had changed. It worked, thanks Luce. He thought as he did a back flip out of the water to make sure the others knew he was alive, hearing cheers he went straight back in, not messing around.

After what felt like an eternity of looking, he heard singing... like the egg, the same voice. He followed through the seaweed and made his way through to a clearing. There they were. Four bodies. And Pete was one of them. Along with Hermione, Fleur's sister, Prince guessed and Will. So that's who Ced cares about the most. Prince wasted no time, ignoring the merepeople he used his wand to free Pete and went on his way, not looking back. He was too pissed off. He was having words with Dumbledork the moment he got to the surface.

It didn't take long, and he swam while holding Pete tightly who had just woke up.

"Har?" He questioned, voice horse.

"You're safe. I've got you. I'm sorry, Pete." Prince whispered, trying to calm him as they both had help from Luce, Susan and Ed, who had joined along with Daphne. Prince was shivering, but gave the towel given to them to Pete as he walked straight to Dumbledork.

"I told you what would happen if my family and friends were used in this tournament, old man. You're not going the right way about wanting me to be leader of the light if you carry on." Prince sneered, turning back to his friends without another word for that man.

"You did it, Prince. Told you you could!" Luce said with a grin and he smiled, ruffling up her hair and he laughed when she pouted at him to stop.

"I never doubted you for a moment, sis."

A/N 2 I know this was rushed but bear with me, I'm trying to keep all the years in as few chapters as possible. One more chapter and it's the end of year four. The ball and the third task to come. Year 5 - Order of the Phoenix, will be ever so slightly different...Also ignore my spelling, as I said before, I'll do a huge edit once I've completed the story! Thanks for being patient, favouriting and following, doesn't hurt to leave a review. Gives me more motivation to keep writing.
