6. The 2007 Royal Rumble match.

The Royal Rumble was live at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. The first match that aired was a tag team match between The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy) and MNM (Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro). The match went back and forth until MNM took control by attacking Matt's injured jaw repeatedly. The Hardys gained the advantage briefly, but lost it when Nitro countered an aerial attack by Jeff. Jeff finally tagged Matt, who beat down both Mercury and Nitro. The finish came when Matt delivered a Twist of Fate and Jeff performed the Swanton Bomb on Nitro. Jeff then pinned Nitro for the victory.

The second match was Jackal defending his ECW World Championship against Bobby Lashley and Test in a Triple Threat match. Jackal and Lashley dominated Test before focusing on each other. Lashley ended up winning after hitting a spear on Jackal to pick up the three count.

The third match was for The WWE Women's Championship. Mickie James defending her title against the former Champion Maria after defeating her at New Year's Revolution to win the title. Maria won the title again for a second time after hitting a Fireman's Carry Cutter to get the three count, becoming a 2-time Women's Champion.

The fourth match was between World Heavyweight Champion Batista and Mr. Kennedy for the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista gained an early advantage by overpowering Kennedy until Kennedy injured Batista's knee by using the steel steps. Kennedy continued to attack Batista's knees, and applied various submission holds that target the knee. Batista fought back, still favoring the knee, until Kennedy pushed Batista into the referee, and hit a low blow. Kennedy had Batista pinned for over a three-count, but the match went on due the referee being knocked out. Batista performed a clothesline and a Batista Bomb to retain the title.

And now it was time for the Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship.

In the arena, John Cena's theme hits and out comes the former WWE Champion to a pop. Cena runs down and slides into the ring, tossing his hat and shirt off before getting ready for his opponent.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Vengeful One hits and out comes the WWE Champion. Bladewolf has the title against his right shoulder as he walks down with his eyes on Cena. He enters the ring and hands the title to the referee before taking off his trench coat as his theme dies down and Lillian Garcia begins introductions.

"The following contest is a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship! Introducing first the challenger, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 240 lbs...JOHN CENA!" Cena raises his arms as the crowd cheers. "And his opponent, from Death Valley, weighing 275 lbs, he is the WWE Champion...THE BLADEWOLF!" Bladewolf just stares coldly at Cena before the bell is rung.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The two stared each other down in the middle of the ring before trading blows. Cena hit a jaw breaker before Bladewolf hit an uppercut then delivered a hard right to Cena's skull, the force enough to send Cena out to the floor. Cena climbed back up on the apron but Bladewolf pounded him off the apron with some forearms before coming to the outside and chucking Cena into the ring steps like a rag doll.

Bladewolf kept pounding away on the former WWE Champion beating him all the way up the entrance way towards the stage area before they made their way back down towards and eventually into, the ring. Bladewolf hit a head butt before Bladewolf began stomping away on Cena's chest.

The Champion stalked the challenger around the ring landing some clubbing blows to the back before trapping Cena in the corner and landed some shoulder thrusts into the wounded stomach of the former WWE Champ. Cena caught Bladewolf on a charge into the corner but when he came rebounding out himself, he got decapitated by a hard clothesline.

Cena rose to his feet at the count of seven. Bladewolf hit a body slam and then went to the outside and gathered some toys from the ringside area. Bladewolf tossed the ring steps into the ring and went to get back into the ring before Cena drop kicked him back to the floor. Cena picked up the steps and tossed them directly at Bladewolf's head, cold cocking the WWE Champion. Bladewolf stumbled to his feet at seven before getting back in the ring.

Cena had a brief advantage before Bladewolf nailed him with yet another clothesline. Bladewolf hit some more punches to the gut before delivering a German Suplex to Cena. Bladewolf holds onto Cena as he proceeds to hit a total of ten German Suplexes to the challenger. Bladewolf then hits a belly-to-belly suplex that sends Cena out of the ring.

Bladewolf follows Cena out of the ring and delivers a hard stomp to Cena's chest. He then grabbed the lower ring steps and placed them into the ring. Bladewolf grabs Cena before driving him back first into the announce table then into the ring apron. Bladewolf tosses Cena back into the ring and enters himself. He lifts Cena up and places him upside down on the turnbuckle before grabbing the steel steps and charges at Cena, looking to crush him with them...BUT CENA SAT UP IN TIME! Bladewolf crashes into the turnbuckle and stumbled back, this allowed Cena to climb to the top rope and hit a leg drop off the top rope.

Bladewolf groaned as he tried getting up but Cena grabs him and tossed him into the ring post. Cena then grabbed a TV monitor from the outside and slammed it right into Bladewolf's forehead. Bladewolf falls onto his back and the referee begins the count. ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...FOUR!...FIVE!...SIX!...SEVEN!...EIGHT! BLADEWOLF SITS UP!

Bladewolf gets to his feet but Cena grabs him before tossing him out of the ring and attacks again. He bounces Bladewolf's skull off the announce table before lifting him up onto his shoulders... AND HITS THE FU THROUGH THE TABLE!

Cena stumbles to his feet as he watches the ref count. ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...Bladewolf shows signs of life...FOUR!...FIVE!...SIX!...Bladewolf slowly gets onto all fours...SEVEN!...EIGHT!...Bladewolf gets to a knee...NINE!...BLADEWOLF GETS TO HIS FEET!

Cena couldn't believe it. He rushed at Bladewolf... BUT BLADEWOLF HITS A SPEAR! Bladewolf grabs Cena and lifts him onto his shoulders and stands near the Spanish announce table...BEFORE HITTING HOWL OF THE WOLF THROUGH THE TABLE!

Bladewolf wasn't done as he grabs Cena and tosses him back into the ring and follows. Bladewolf grabs a lifeless Cena and lifts him onto his shoulders again... BEFORE HITTING A SECOND HOWL OF THE WOLF!

Bladewolf gets to his feet and the referee begins counting. ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...FOUR!...FIVE!...SIX!...SEVEN!...EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN! BLADEWOLF RETAINS THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The Vengeful One plays as Bladewolf falls to his knees. Maria runs out and slides into the ring to hug her boyfriend. "Here is your winner and STILL WWE Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!"

Bladewolf is given his title before he and Maria leave the ring as Cena slowly begins to move. The Bladewolf retains, now he just needs to see who will win the Royal Rumble match and if he'll be chosen to be faced at WrestleMania 23.

And that's it for the Royal Rumble chapter. Bladewolf retains the WWE Championship and Maria becomes a 2-time Women's Champion.
