Hey guys! As some of you may know, in the next few episodes, Phineas and Ferb are not with their friends. Well, except "Mom's Birthday", but I don't know what to write about that. So, I'm just gonna make my own episode for this chapter.

Disclaimer: I don't own Phineas and Ferb or Wild Kratts. I only own Keira and the plot.

Hope you enjoy!

{Chapter 5: Day One}

Keira woke up at around 7:00, and quickly got ready. "I bet today will be one of the best days ever!" she thought. After she finished breakfast, she started walking towards her new neighbours' house.

"Hey, Phineas. Ferb," Keira greeted them. "What are you gonna do today?"

Phineas was about to answer, but was interrupted when a familiar girl walked through the gate. "Well, at least you didn't steal my catch phrase," she told Keira. Then she turned to the boys, "So, whatcha doin?"

"We're actually not sure yet," Phineas replied.

Keira turned to the girl, "Uh, what's your name again? Is..."

"Isabella. You?" Isabella asked and the girls giggled.

"Who's this?" Buford asked as he and Baljeet walked through the gate.

"The name's Keira."

Buford replied, "I was asking Dinner-Bell."

"Who's-" Buford pointed to Phineas, and Keira looked over at him. "Oh, you mean Phineas," she realized.

"She moved in beside us yesterday," Phineas said, pointing behind him toward Keira's house. "She's gonna join us."

"Sounds good to me..." Buford said. He leaned closer to Keira, and told her, "As long as there's no funny business."

"What do you mean by... funny business?" Keira asked, concerned, with Buford still in her face. "Oh yeah, by the way..." she said confidently, and she kneed Buford in the stomach, knocking him back.

"Keira! Why'd you do that?" Phineas asked, worried. "He's our friend!"

"Well, he was all up in my face."

"Oh, so you wanna fight, Wimpy Girl?" Buford questioned Keira, as he walked up to her.

"What did you call me?" Keira asked angrily, then got ready to block any oncoming attacks.

"Wimpy Girl. You got a problem with that?"

"Yes, actually. I do," Keira answered seriously, but she was still angry. "So, are we gonna fight or what?"

"Guys, guys, guys! Why are you fighting?" Phineas tried to stop them. "I thought we're all friends here!"

"Yeah," Keira said while nodding. "And my first," she quietly said to herself. "I don't want to fight my new and only friends," she thought to herself. "Hey, Phineas, do you know what we're gonna do, yet?"

"Uh, no..." he said, still thinking.

Keira replied and said, "I'm gonna go, then. I have something I wanna do. You can get me when you're ready, if you want." And with that, she left.

"Woah, what just happened?" Isabella asked, seeming surprised.

"Keira just left to go back to her house," Baljeet answered. "Did you really miss that?"

"No! I knew that happened! It just seemed like... she was different."

"Well I've only known her for 2 minutes, so I ain't saying nothin," Buford added. "But what happened to your tree?" he asked as he looked up at the tree.

Phineas finally spoke up, "Um, that's kind of a long story. But, I think I can agree with you on that, Isabella. I mean, yesterday, she seemed more excited and energetic, but today, well, upset."

"Maybe it's because she just moved here, and she misses her old friends?" Baljeet suggested.

"I'm not really sure that's the reason..." Phineas thought, but instead said, "Yeah, you're probably right. But she's still upset about something, and I'm not gonna let that ruin her day."

"Okay, but I still wanna know what happened to your tree," Buford said.

"Fine," Phineas agreed, and he began telling his friends what had happened yesterday.

Meanwhile, Keira had been standing by a window in her bedroom, watching the kids. "Wonder when I'll use that," she thought when she spotted her creature power suit. "Oh well. I guess I'll call Chris and Martin to see how they're doing." The device started to ring before she even grabbed it. She then answered it, revealing Chris and Martin's faces on the screen.

"Hey, guys. How's it going?" Keira asked them glumly. She knew they were probably out somewhere, hanging around with animals.

"Hi, Keira. We just saw Komodo dragons hatch!" Martin told her.

Keira answered disappointed, "Cool. Wish I was there." She sighed when she heard the doorbell ring. "Oh, I gotta go. Call you later!" Keira said and she hung up.

"You know, Martin, we probably should've brought her with us," Chris told his brother.

"Yeah. I just didn't want to make her come if she was already having fun with her friends," Martin said. "But I think it would've been better if we'd given her options."

Keira opened the door to find Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, Buford, Baljeet standing there. "Oh. Hi."

"Hey, Keira. We were just wondering-" Isabella said.

Keira sighed. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I just have two older brothers, so... it's kinda how I live sometimes. Um, you guys are also my first friends, so I don't really, like, know..."

"Yeah, we get it. Well, except the not having any friends part. We've all known each other since... forever," Phineas told Keira.

"Thanks, Phineas. I needed that. My brothers are doing the things they would usually do with me, but without me," Keira told them. "Hey... I know something we can do today!"

"Well, at least you didn't steal my catch phrase."

"Whatever. What I was saying was- well I'll just call them, it's much easier. You guys can come in if you want."

They all came inside the house, and sat in the living room. "Keira, uh, do you live... alone?" Isabella asked.

Keira started to call her brother. "Yeah, sometimes."

"Why don't you live with your parents?"

"Uh... Oh, just a second," Keira told her when Martin answered. "Hey, Martin. Hey, Chris,"

"..."

"Uh, just wondering, are you guys creatured out?"

"..."

"Thanks. I just wanted to know, because I need to ask you a question,"

"..."

"Um, can we go see birds of paradise today?"

"..."

"Yes! Meet me where?"

"..."

"Okay, see you then!"

"..."

"Yep, bye." Keira hung up, and said to the gang, "Time for creature adventuring!"

"Creature adventuring?" Baljeet asked.

"Yeah, when you go out and adventure with creatures. It's something I always do with my brothers."

Phineas was curious, "Like, in your backyard or something?"

"No." Keira answered. "Like, in New Guinea or something."

"Okay..."

"That's where we'll be going today."

"That's cool. Have fun, I guess," Buford said.

"What do you mean, 'have fun'? You guys are coming!"

Isabella clarified, "Really? You mean we get to come with you to New Guinea?"

Keira scoffed, "Yeah! And we'll get to see birds of paradise!"

"So, you're that excited over... a flower?" Baljeet wondered.

"Uh, no... But I am that excited over my favourite type of bird!"

"An actual bird? Of paradise?" Buford asked.

"Yep. Right here, bird of paradise," Isabella told us, looking at the Fireside Girl book. "The flower, and the bird."

Everyone went over to look at the book. "So? Are you guys coming, or what?" Keira asked them.

Phineas replied, "I mean, there's nothing else for us to do. Why not?"

"Cool. You guys get going then. Jimmy's landing the Tortuga in Danville Park. I'll catch up."

Baljeet asked, "Who's Jimmy?"

"All I'll say is Jimmy's not one of my brothers. I'll introduce everyone when we get there."

"And what's a Tortuga?" asked Isabella.

"Well, tortuga is Spanish for turtle," Ferb answered.

"Exactly. I'll explain everything when we get there."

"Okay, see you soon," Phineas said, and the five of them left, heading for the park. Keira stayed behind and went up to her room. She put on her creature power suit, grabbed her creature pod, and left the house as well.

So, there's the fifth chapter. A day later than I had planned, but it's here, so that's good enough.

{Thank you nicolepokemon7 for adding this story to your favourites. It's really appreciated.}

I will reply to new reviews in the future, but here's some from previous chapters;

mary. okeeffe.16- Now this is a birthday celebration. Yes. Yes, it is.
Dispatching Kratt- I like how is it well written and I like it even more, because both cartoons are my favorite. That's cool. Both are my favourite, too.
