Well here we are in 2020, we made it everybody, but your not here to discuss the new year, your here for a new chapter. Well you came to the right place, because TheAwesomeCoolJay is here to give you that new chapter! So today's chapter wraps up the chosen one arc with Marco, which I feel like I may have overdid just a bit, but it sets up the main direction of where I'm going with the story. Okay enough of jabber, on with the story.

Star vs. the Forces of Evil is owned by Daron Nefcy & Disney

At his camp, Marco was preparing some food for Star and Glossaryck. As they sat around his campfire, Star noticed Marco's dragon-cycle looking at her. The dragon-cycle was hesitant approaching the princess, but the young girl was actually the one who was more scared of the creature approaching her.

"Relax Star, Dragon-cycles are peaceful to those close to their owners." Glossaryck explained.

Hearing that information, Star slowly stuck her hand out to pet the dragon-cycle and once the motorized dragon was close enough, Star was able to place her hand on the dragon and began to pet it. Seeing how the dragon-cycle was giving a positive purring noise, Star now felt easy around the living vehicle.

"Aw, who's a good boy?"

The dragon-cycle then let annoyed grunt once Star said that.

"What did I do?" Star asked, while she quickly pulled her hand back.

"Nachos is a girl Star." Marco explained as he arrived to the campfire with the bowls of food. "Chowtime."

"One of my favorite times!" The princess said as she grabbed a bowl and slurped a bit of it, but immediately stopped when she tasted it. "What is this?"

"Skin flakes and garlic spider chow." The teenager answered.

"And with the right amount of garlic spiders." Glossaryck, slurping down the chow in one go. "Good job Diaz."

"Really, cause I was thinking about addi-"

"Okay this isn't some cooking show!" Star said, getting annoyed by the two of them not talking about the bigger picture here. "Glossaryck why is Marco here, why is he older, and why... just why are you doing this?"

"She's right, Glossaryck." Marco returning back to what's important. "Why am I here and why am I your cho-"

Marco was hushed once Glossaryck made his hand bigger and put a finger to shush the teen.

"Keep that part between us Marco and in due time I will tell you." The magic being told him in a rather serious manner. "Children how would you react to the ability to see multiple futures?"

"Easy, make sure I always look my best everyday." Star replied.

"Be ahead of Janna, tired of her always getting the best of me." The boy said remembering those moments with the mischievous little girl.

"Real creative their kiddos, but how's about something like preventing the death of one of you."

The mood of the whole conversation shifted real fast after Glossaryck said that. The possibilities that Marco and Star were thinking vanished as soon as they realized one of them could die.

"And by one of you I mean the kid with no magic." Glossaryck clearly referring to Marco. "You fight well Marco, but your basic karate was never going to prepare you for the baddies in the future."

"W-Well I'm ready now!" The teenager said with hesitation and anger in his tone. "I may have spent four years here but I survived, and I blew out Hekapoo's flame!"

"Was it the right one?"

"What do you mean the right one?"

"He means the me that is actually me." A familiar female voice said.

Turning their heads, the three saw that Hekapoo has joined the conversation.

"You!" Both Marco and Star said.

"Star you know her?"

"Yeah, she and these other magic guys usually have meetings with my mom."

"Those meetings are meant to be secret young lady."

"Not so secret when anyone can peek through the door." The princess remarked.

"Rhombulus you have just one simple job." Hekapoo said as she pinches the bridge of her nose in annoyance.

"Hekapoo what happen to you?" Marco asked, remembering the last time he saw her. "After I blew out your flame you just disappeared."

"That's what clones tend to do."

"Clones?"

"Did I forget to mention I could do that?" Another Hekapoo said walking in and placing her arm around the first one.

"Sorry." A third one said, coming while resting her arms on Marco's head.

"But maybe next time try not to spend four years trying to take down one of us." The fourth and final Hekapoo whispered in the boy's ear.

The teasing and mocking coming from all the Hekapoos was really getting to Marco, but what really made him was the fact that all this time passed all he did was take out one. In one quick action, the boy took out the flames of each Hekapoo with combination of punches and kicks. The moment they went out, the Hekapoos immediately poofed away.

"Guess that makes five, well time to get back to work." Marco said as he quickly gulped down his chow and walked back to his journey.

"Oh no you don't." Star said getting in front of Marco. "Your not actually thinking of spending more time in here?"

"What's the big deal, it will only be for a few minutes."

"Maybe back on Earth, but here it's going to take you another couple of years!" The princess angrily countered back. "What if something happens to you?"

"I already survived four years!"

"You got lucky in four years!"

"Lucky?" The teen said a bit stunned over his friend's choice of words, but quickly got over it. "Well luck or not, I'm staying and I'm going to catch the real Hekapoo."

"Marco we both know how this ends." Star said pulling her wand out of her pocket and aiming it at him. "Now are you coming home the easy way or the hard way?"

"I'm sorry Star."

"Good, now lets-"

Catching her off guard, Marco had snatched the wand from Star's hand. The princess tried to take it back, but Marco simply used his free hand to hold the young girl back.

"I'll be back soon, I promise." Marco said to calm the girl's anger. "Glossaryck can you keep her busy for me."

"Sure, it benefits me and it could be fun." Glossaryck replied.

Marco tossed the wand to magical being and the latter simply open a portal back to Earth and went through it. Star was about to give chase, but turned to Marco to say something.

"This isn't over Diaz, I'll be back!" She said as she ran after Glossaryck.

Once she went through the portal immediately disappeared, leaving Marco alone with Nachos. The teen simply smiled to Star's words

"And once you do, I'll be ready to go."

TheAwesomeCoolJay: Not to throw shade, but it took main series Marco a few minutes to take out one. My version of Marco, four years? Good luck kid.

4 more years later

Marco Diaz, now 18 years old, is currently his dragon-cycle chasing down a Hekapoo through the Afflicted Forest again. Having his handmade spear, Marco threw it and was able to pin Hekapoo's dress to a tree. This tree was sentient and immediately wailed in pain once it felt the spear.

"I don't know what's worse, being caught by you or this toothpick crying." An annoyed Hekapoo said.

"And you're going to make 140." Marco telling the clone as he hopped of Nachos and approached her.

TheAwesomeCoolJay: By the way that's all the segments had combined! Every episode, not counting them together but separate.

"So you've been keeping track of all of me?"

"Of course."

"Not bad, but your progression is still miles away from the end." The clone smirked. "I mean if you can make it to the end."

Having enough of her sass, Marco quickly blew out 140's flame, but took what she said to heart. Is he really making any progress, how many more Hekapoos can be out there, but more importantly will this tree shut up? The wailing tree continued it's wailing, because the spear still remained.

"When they disappear why can't they just take the stuff with them?" The young man complained. "What is the point of you trees?"

"To call people like me." An unknown female voice replied.

Marco looked up in the tree to see who said that, and to his surprise the person who spoke jumped down from the tree and landed behind Marco. Turning around, Marco was looking at dark skin muscular woman wearing nothing but a green tunic and loincloth.

"Hi Marco." The woman greeting Marco.

"Okay questions: who are you, how do you know me, and how can I get muscles like that?" He asked, admiring the lady's physique.

"The name is Brunzetta and boy I have known you for a while now."

"You some sort of stalker?" Marco asked, slowly backing away.

"No, what I meant is I known you ever since the first year you were chasing Hekapoo." She explained. "The first couple of times you passed through the forest I thought you would of been dead by now, by I have to admit you've impressed me over the years.

"Thanks, but my best efforts are still not enough to catch the real Hekapoo."

"Doubt will get you nowhere kid, you have skills and with proper training you can accomplish anything." Brunzetta reassuring the kid.

"I'm guessing you want to train me, but tell me what makes you so special?"

To answer him the woman simply stuck out her hand and in a few seconds her battle-axe flew straight to her hand. That surprised Marco, but what surprised him even more was the fact that the battle-axe was now charged with electricity.

"Most people would be honored to be trained by a thunder goddess." Brunzetta revealing her true status.

2 years later

Marco Diaz is now 20 years old and his training with Brunzetta is finally complete. The physical exercises made Marco's body as muscular as Brunzetta's, and the combat training has improved his karate and widen his combat abilities. More importantly, the extremely difficult tasks Brunzetta had him do every day improved his will and confidence to catch Hekapoo.

"Sure you don't need me?"

"I appreciate it Brunzetta, but no." Marco rejecting her offer. "With your help taking down Hekapoo would be too easy, besides I'm more than capable now."

Speaking of Hekapoo, one of her clones appeared on the scene and smiled once she saw Marco. Having not seen the guy in two years, the forger of the dimensional scissors did miss his company.

"Dude where've you been?" She asked him, but then notice Brunzetta. "Been chasing after another woman?"

Marco didn't say a word he simply replied to Hekapoo by throwing a sword between her horns. This action caught the clone off-guard, because that one move took out her flame, making yet another one disappear.

"Time for this chase to end."

Back on Earth

After a bit of a crazy run around in the hallways, it appears Star has Glossaryck trapped by some lockers.

"I've got you now little man!"

"Sure I'll let you believe that you caught me." Glossaryck told the girl as he tossed the wand back to Star. "It's about time to go back anyway."

"Really, no more tricks?" Star asked, almost believing it.

"No tricks, but first let me just finish this single cup of pudding.

As Glossaryck pulled the pudding from behind him, Star was actually glad that her magic guide was actually going keep things simple. Alas, her hopes were dashed the moment she saw him eating slowly.

"Really?"

"One must savor every taste."

Dimension X-103, 10 years later

"And you make 1000." Marco tells his downed opponent.

"How did you get this good?" Hekapoo asked.

"I'll tell you." He replied, blowing out her flame. "The real you."

As it turned out, it was another clone of the fiery trickster, but his location gave him the vibe that this is where the true Hekapoo resides. On the outside, it was guarded and coming from the top was smoke, but to truly confirm this, Marco pushed the door open and walked inside.

"Anyone home?"

"More of a forge, actually."

Marco looked ahead to see it was Hekapoo who said that, and she appeared to be standing by a pool of lava. No other clones stood in his way, no obstacles in the way, and it looked like she was not going to put up a fight.

"So are you the one?"

"Yeah I'm the actual Hekapoo, and I got to say you surprised me." Hekapoo praising the man. "Tell me, how did you do it?"

"There was a lot of factors, your doubts and rigorous training really pushed me, but us humans are persistent." He explained with a smirk. "Once we set our goals, we do whatever it takes to complete them."

"I see, well you've earned my respect and something else for everything you did."

Reaching into the pool of lava, Hekapoo pulled a pair of dimensional scissors out of the molten rock. These didn't look like the normal ones Star uses, the blades were golden and his name appeared to be engraved in it.

"Alright just finish the job and these are yours."

"Done deal, but Hekapoo I got to ask." Marco said getting closer to her. "Why a 1000 clones, then you?"

"Because... I was the one to beat." The scissor forger joked as she playfully nudged her elbow in Marco's abs.

The man groaned as he blew out the flame and accepted his scissors, but at that same time another portal had open in the forge. Coming out of it was Glossaryck and Star, the latter had her wand ready to bring Marco back by force.

"Alright Marco you're coming back, no ifs, ands, or bu-bu- buff!" The young princess said, hypnotize by the new older Marco.

"Hey Star, you okay?" He asked noticing her stating in a daze.

"Yeah she's stuck like that, lets return home muscle man." Glossaryck told Marco.

"Wait!" Hekapoo yelled out, getting everyone's, except Star's, attention. "Don't forget your mark son!" She then gave Marco a slap to the back of his head.

"Ow, alright time to go, before you find more reasons to say goodbye." Diaz said as he made his way to the portal, pushing Star along. "Oh since I'm leaving, can you watch Nachos, thanks bye!"

"Wait, what?"

As soon as their portal closed, Hekapoo was tackled and pinned by said dragon-cycle. The woman was then affectionally licked by Nachos, who in return began to pet the living ride.

"All right fine, but there will be rules living with me."

And that finally concludes the Hekapoo and Marco arc! Geez, what a ride it's been with this arc. Next chapter won't involve an arc, but will have some dark moments, those possible future events Glossaryck spoke of will be revealed to Star, but how will she take it?

Until next time, R.F.F. (Review Favorite Follow) PEACE!
