I Dream of Jeannie "Remake"

Conformity? You Wish!

Chapter 7: A Proper Send Off.

(A/N: I'm sorry that I never could have updated and properly continued this fanfiction. Here, I want to give this a proper ending. I remastered the original chapters that was riddled with mistakes and made this chapter to properly end this fanfiction. Here's to you all, a proper send-off. Side note, I renamed Yuki to Aki.)

Two year have passed, and the year is now 2020. Wayne had graduated college at last, all the grateful for the sharpened memory and cash to allow him to blow through college. Now, Wayne was living the dream. He had moved out of the apartment to get a home of his own. He essentially had the "American Dream", a house of his own with a fence and a beautiful blonde wife. He had finally married Jeannie a year ago much to her joy. She spared no ounce of magic on making the grand wedding. For Wayne, it was golden to see the look on everyone's face when he had announced he was getting married.

His parents still could not believe it, but it happened, and he could not have been happier to have her by his side. As for work, he went into working from home as an IT Tech Support. He made his own hours and schedule now. Jeannie still kept with her research and making books. And as for Jason, well…he lived with them in a sense. The place Wayne now lived in came out with a rather nice apartment, he let Jason move in there.

"So, Jason? How's the apartment?" Wayne asked as they were playing video games.

"Good good, that genie you gave me can easily keep it clean. Speaking of which. Jem, please come in here with our pizza." Jason said.

Jem came out pouting wear a frilly maid outfit with a tray of pizza with her hands. Jem had came after Wayne in hopes of driving a wedge, but the little sister had bested her. Jem was faced a rather sadistic choice from her, Jeannie would pick her new master or be trapped in the bottle to be put on the moon. Not wanting to be trapped, she took the latter and she was handed to Jason. He was all too eager to have a genie much to her ire and here she was…practically this guy and by extension her sister's glorified maid.

"Here's your pizza, master." Jem said dryly putting the tray.

"By the way, where's your sister?" Wayne asked as Jem snarked, "Just came back from the store."

"I'm back. It's rather worrying to see all the people freaking out over the Cronoavirus." Jeannie said sitting on his lap and kissing his cheek. "Any ideas?"

"Wishing it away?" Jason asked.

"That would raise too many questions….but I have an idea. Maybe we could go to another dimension that has the cure, learn to make it, and sell it here." Wayne said. "We'd be filthy rich."

"I hope you do because I really want…to bring some children into the world." Jeannie said sweetly as Wayne blushed crimson.

"We're only been married for a year, my Persian sweet." Wayne said sheepishly. "I don't know if I'm ready to be a dad. There's so much I haven't done yet."

"You know, I wouldn't mind knocking you up, Jem." Jason teased as Jem gulped. "But not yet."

"Just in case, I wish me and my family were complete immune to the virus." Wayne said as Jeannie granted it.

"I wish for the same for my family and I as well." Jason said as Jem boringly granted it.

"Well, I'd stay, but I got to go to work." Jason said setting his controller down.

"I'm still asking why you still work at K-Mart when you don't have to. Your streaming does pretty well." Wayne remarked.

"Dude, I got promoted to where I practically run the stores." Jason said with smug grin. "The look on my mother's face when they found I rose up to store manager was worth it."

Jason and Jem took their leave as Jeannie slid over to sit on the couch. They had made it at last.

"We really did it, Jeannie. Never thought this would ever happen. Hell, I owe my old neighbor thanks for leading to me to you." Wayne said warmly gazing into her eyes.

"So, that's why you give him five thousand and paid for him to go to medical school. Always thought that was strange." Jeannie said.

"Aw, how sweet." A familiar voice bellowed before Aki jumped down from the roof. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Williams."

"Aki, what are you doing here? I haven't seen you in a while." Wayne declared all the while unsure of her presence.

"I was in Washington manipulating events so America didn't call apart with the lost of the president. Right now, America is voting on a new president while fighting COVID-19 which won't be an issue for long. I'll have that dealt with in a month or two. But you're wondering why I'm here. I have an experiment I want you both to take part in. I already set it all up, not like you have a choice. Your computer has been set up already. Have fun." Aki mused before using "Instantaneous Movement" to vanish out of sight.

"Well, we can't say our marriage is never boring." Jeannie said sweetly.

"To think I wished for conformity of all things." Wayne ventured nuzzling his wife. "Not anymore."

(A/N: I do hope this wraps it all up well enough. What did Aki mean by her words though? Well, that's an idea for a sequel. I was inspired by another man's work that raised this idea.

"You get a computer program that syncs with all your games and videos on your PC. You can use said program to bring any one into the real world. You have a limit of bringing five into the real world. You can control them, change outfits, change personalities, and manage them. What would you say to that?"

And considering we got a magical genie, the sky's the limit for what I can do with this idea. That's if I actually go for it. If I do, that's good, if I don't, I want to all to know it all ended well enough. Rock on, readers.)

Story Complete, Sequel… ?
