Hey guys! So, here we are at the potentially shortest part of the merge arc. I'm probably extending it to three parts, because honestly I forgot what I was gonna write so I need to make backup plots to this. So yeah, chaos will still happen, just a different kind of chaos lmao.

So! In other words, the first episode of Act II is up! If you haven't read it yet, please check it out lol. Please leave a review there if you guys can!

Day #9 - Crown Island Cruise

Total Drama Act I: Musical Impact

Episode 12 Part 2: Winged Reasons

"The ultimate victory in competition is derived from the inner satisfaction of knowing that you have done your best and that you have gotten the most out of what you had to give." -Howard Cosell

Last time on Musical Impact:

"Mairead... I-"

"I know." Mairead replied. She knew about Xavier finding out her sexuality and she figured that it hurt about who she was. "And... well... I'm sorry. I'm sorry for hurting you, and I'm sorry that we couldn't be together."

Xavier took the time to rethink everything that he had just heard this second.

"Um... that's alright." Xavier said sadly. Although there was this little hint of it actually not being okay, everyone has to learn how to move on of certain things like these.

"Um... you okay?" Mairead asked him worriedly. "I guess I've hurt your feelings now, have I?"

"Uh... y-yeah! No! Wait- um..." Xavier stuttered for who knows how many times in this season. Oh wait, it was just two.

"Xavier, it's okay. You can tell me. Aren't I your closest friend?" Mairead let out a small smile to make Xavier feel a bit better.

The outcast however, just sighed at the fact that he probably has no choice but to tell her how she really feels.

Confessional: I'm talkin' 'bout you, yeah you yeah you

Xavier: Well, I guess I'm gonna tell her everything. *crosses fingers*

Mairead: I really wanted to know what he was actually feeling about me because during that night, he seemed so sad...

End confessional

"I-" Xavier sighed. "Okay, let me just get it straight to the point. Mairead, I've loved you ever since our friendship started blossoming. I know it may look as awkward as you think, considering your sexual orientation, and I'm just here being the straight guy as I could be, so I understand if things aren't going to work well between us."

Mairead widened her eyes. Everything that Xavier said about her was so genuine, that it actually hurt.

"Um… I can already tell by that. And… I'm just really sorry that we are not going to work that way. I just hope we'll stay friends, and ugh. You don't know how bad I'm feeling right now." Mairead confessed as Xavier grabbed her hands, assuring that everything is okay.

"It's perfectly fine. I won't judge. Besides, I'm pretty sure that there is someone who deserves me… same goes for you. A bright girl like you honestly shouldn't be stressed about this. Sure, love is not a joke but we people have to respect each other's wishes, right?"

Mairead didn't answer. Instead, she leaned closer to him, Xavier unsure of what is going on.

She kissed him.

But why?

Mairead wrapped her hands around his neck whilst Xavier did the same to her waist. Sure it felt awkward for the both of them, but Mairead did it because most of all, she couldn't imagine how hurt Xavier was and this was just to at least make it up for it. At the same time though, it felt somewhat good.

It took her about a few seconds before the two pulled away.

"Why'd you do that?" Xavier asked.

"Just think of me as the perfect girl you deserve." she smiled as she walked away, leaving Xavier shocked at what happened.

Meanwhile, Sal was busy walking on the corridors of the cruise. Olivia approached him from behind, grabbing his arm forcefully, making Sal jump in shock.

"We need to talk." Olivia retorted, giving Sal a horrible feeling about this.

The two now entered a small staircase, into a room full of boxes. It looked like the basement of the cruise where Amanda and Arreis were a while ago.

"What is it Liv?" Sal asked, trying to muster up as much innocence as he could.

"Listen, Solomon." Olivia told him, unaware of the fact that she is speaking normally. "I've been observing you since Day 1. You were some nitwit who was actually a bit nice to his team until God knows when you started mustering up all the stuff that happened. As a psychology expert, I knew what that meant so from there, when I thought you loved me, I had to play along just to get more details."

"Olivia, what the hell are you talking about? I thought you were gonna be by my side till the rest of the game!" Sal retaliated. "This was all a facade?"

"That is what I am talking about, Sal!" Olivia shouted, clearly showing her anger. "What's gonna happen after the game? You're just gonna shove me away like what you did to Meredith? Oh, I am not gonna let that escape from my fingers because you seriously can't be trusted! Look how many lives you've messed up! Think about how miserable Meredith was when you shoved her away. Think about how you ****ed up Spear's self. Think about how absurd was it to drag Evander into some ugly shit you were doing just to get rid of Amanda, your ally. Think about how disappointed I will be if I know all your doings. You're protecting me for what?"

Olivia shoved it all inside him. Sal could hardly speak. For the second time in his life, he felt broken. He reached out to hug Olivia, but she violently pushed him away.

"You're a psycho, Solomon Hutchinson. I don't care if you have ADHD, which is a disorder with attention deficiency. People that have that should be respected but in this case, you shouldn't be respected. You were just seeking attention in the most absurd way as possible." She spat as she went up the staircase but Sal ran up and pulled her.

"LET ME GO, YOU PSYCHO!" Olivia shouted.

"No! Not until you give me another chance!" Sal yelled. The two fell down on to the bottom of the staircase but Olivia quickly got up before slapping him hard across his cheek. She tried to run up again, but Sal pulled her hair making Olivia shriek.

"Help!" she shouted but Sal covered her mouth with one hand so her voice was muffled while his other hand reached for something in his pocket.

"Olivia?" Faith asked as she was walking on the halls. She needed to discuss something important to her, something about the merge event that will happen soon.

"Where's that kid…?" She wondered out loud as she went along the corridor. "OLIVIAAAAA! WHERE ARE YOU-"

"HEEEEELP!" A scream was heard.

"STOP IT! YOU WILL DO AS I SAY OR I WILL HAVE YOU DEAD BEFORE THE OTHERS EVEN KNOW!" Another voice was heard.

"What the hell!?" Faith jolted as she run to the basement, where she heard the commotion.

She ran as fast as she could. Who knows what could happen to the person who was shouting.

When she ran in, she couldn't believe what she saw.

Sal held a knife just about a centimeter away from Olivia's throat, and another knife was sticking out from his pocket. Olivia's face was red from all the screaming she did,and both of them looked as if they had a really heated fight.

"WHAT THE F*** SAL! GET OFF OF HER!" Faith shouted as she ran up to them but Sal quickly pointed his knife to Faith, which almost touched her nose.

"Faith, no. Get out before Sal kills you…" Olivia pleaded.

"Kill her? Kill her?! Faith?! PAH! As if I would kill you first!" Sal screeched in a menacingly manner before holding up the knife to Olivia's throat once again. "Now scram you weakling before I throw you this knife and jab it on your chest."

"Oh for the love of the Heavens, YOU SHUT UP! First of all, I am no weakling! If I were, then how the f*** did I end up here then!?" Faith bursted in outrage and grabbed a box the size of a huge pillow (with the weight of a dozen books) which was sealed tight.

"What are you gonna do with that? Throw it onto me?" Sal taunted. "Even if you do, Olivia would still get hit. You do know that, right? Oh, maybe you don't because your brain isn't as big as mine."

"Cocky, aren't we? Well, I'll ask you one thing that will for sure tone down your cockiness, Sal." Faith faced him in a tauntingly manner just as he did.

"What? I'm all on ears."

"Do you really love Olivia? Cause if you do, you wouldn't place her into this nightmare, would you?" Faith asked with all the emphasis she could muster with that question.

Sal stood frozen in his tracks. And that was when Faith threw the box at him.

"Olivia, duck!" Faith shouted as the other girl ducked and made a run for it, whilst the other boy got hit in the head by the box, letting go the knife and Olivia at the same time.

"Ow!" He shouted as he tumbled backwards.

"C'mon, let's get out of here!" Faith shouted and she grabbed Olivia's hand as the two girls made a run for it.

The two later made it to a room, which looked like some sort of study room.

"You okay?" Faith asked.

Olivia just shook her head began sobbing uncontrollably as Faith began hugging her and patting her back.

"I was a fool to think that about him, you know that? I should've just, left him alone in the first place!" she shouted.

"Shh, it's okay. It wasn't your fault that he went berserk like that. No one deserves him, especially you." Faith whispered.

About fifteen minutes later, Sal was seen exiting the basement with a pounding headache. He slumped on the wall of the corridors.

Oli was seen from the other side, sipping on a box of juice (dang, was he the one sipping juice from the other episode? guess not), walking to who knows where.

He then saw Sal, looking all beaten up from what happened earlier.

"Whoa, dude. You alright? You looked like you've been hitten by a bus at midnight!" Oli shrieked.

"Oli, please, stop rhyming. You have to help me." Sal fake cried to get Oli's sympathy.

"Uh, dude, I hardly even know you. I only know your name is Sal or something like that and you were my teammate before but from what I know of you, you are definitely looking like you're up to something that I shouldn't be involved in." Oli answered. Honestly, Oli wasn't buying it due to the stuff he heard from Samuel back at the resort. "Plus, it was also your fault why I was eliminated so I'm not falling for it a second time."

"Oh come on, Oli! Please, just help me with this once. I'll get it back to you, I promise." Sal pleaded with tears from his eyes.

"No. There's no way I would help a person like you." Oli snapped.

But Sal wasn't buying his excuse. He pulled out his knife and held it up as if he was going to throw it at the other boy.

"Okay, okay. Fine. What will I do?" Oli surrendered as he chucked his juice box away.

"I need you to get Olivia back to me." Sal told him with venom in his eyes. "I want you to find her and bring her back."

"Or else…?" Oli asked, waiting for a consequence.

"Or else I'll do something that you will regret for not doing my bidding." Sal threatened.

Oli gulped a bit and ran out of his sight.

"DO IT OR ELSE!" Sal shouted.

Oli ran. He didn't know what to do, so the first thing that popped into his mind is to find someone who can give him advice about this, and possibly get him out of the situation.

And he knows who it could be.

Meanwhile, (gosh I need to stop saying 'meanwhile' now lmao) Clayton was just chilling on to some random couch inside some kind of foyer of the cruise.

Someone then bursted into the door, closing it with a thud making Clayton fall out of the couch.

"Ow! That's not cool, man!" He said as he rubbed the back part of his head.

"Dude, I need your help." Oli panted as he plopped himself on the couch next to poor Clayton.

"Yeah, after you just barged in and made me fell off the couch? I can take that." Clayton replied sarcastically.

"Aw, c'mon, Clayton! Please?" Oli asked.

"Okay then. What's up?" Clayton turned to face the other boy who looked like he just saw a ghost.

"I ran into Sal a while ago, and-"

"Hold on, SAL!?" Clayton widened his eyes. He knew what Sal was up to, now that Evander told all the gist to him a while ago, so what was he planning to do now? "I'm surprised that you're still alive! Well… not alive-alive but alive!"

"Um… what?" Oli stood dumbfounded. "What do you mean alive-alive? Sal is a murderer!?" He then gasped in a cliché manner.

"Plot twist!"

"Oliver, wait. You didn't even let me finish." Clayton said as he placed a hand on Oli's mouth before looking left and right just to make sure no one else is there but the two of them.

"Uh, is there something I need to know that nobody else does? You seemed to look flustered." Oli pointed out.

"Hm… yeah, I guess you probably coould say that." Clayton nodded. "You do know that you were eliminated because of him, right?"

"Hmm, yeah. Kinda. Don't have much proof about it, though." Oli shrugged.

"Well… do you also know that he caused the eliminations of Amanda and Spear?"

It took a while before Oli could answer something.

"The fu-"

"You know what, let's do this. We're gonna have to tell everyone else to vote for Sal." Clayton said as he grabbed Oli's wrist. The two of them made a dash for the door.

The scene shifts to the hallway, where Meredith was walking with May and Vivianne. It appears that May had told Meredith about what happened earlier with Spear and Samuel.

"Wait. So Spear used to be a villain from where you guys are from and Samuel did that bullying to you? Well, I honestly think that Samuel is nothing compared to Sal. They both are very… dangerous." Meredith summed everything up as they stopped walking, standing in front of a certain door.

"Yeah, honestly, I can't imagine all that. Looks like all of us had… not so good lives behind us." Vivianne remarked, leaning against the door.

"You know, we should go somewhere where no one can hear us." Vivianne added. "I have a plan. Meredith, would you like to join our alliance? I have a final four plan: you, me, and Faith. I also think that we could get Evander and Clayton to join. That way, we have all the votes against Sal."

"What about Olivia?" Meredith asked.

"I don't know. She'll most likely team up with Sal, but honestly, Olivia is more useful than him. Mairead and Xavier may be a threat, considering they're together all the time." Vivianne replied.

"I wonder how things are like in the game. Is it going well for the two of you?" May asked.

"Yes and no. Come on guys, let's get in. I still have something to add about the plan." Vivianne said as she opened the door and motioned the two girls to get in.

"It's dark in here." Meredith whimpered as she grabbed a hand. "Whose hand is this?"

"That's mine." May responded.

"Jeez, it's so dark in here. I can't even see a thing! I think my night vision isn't working." Vivianne commented. "Is there even a light switch in here?"

"Sure there isn't." A deep voice said.

"Ah!" May shrieked. "Who's there."

"I don't know." The voice said. "But I'm sure you three won't be seeing me again!"

Suddenly, May felt a strong force push her, dragging Meredith. She also hit Vivianne, who was behind her and the three girls fell down…

...in a long flight of stairs.

It was the basement.

The three of them hit the ground with a loud thud and a sick crack.

"Aah!" May groaned. "I can't feel my legs!"

Meredith on the other hand, felt something sharp glide down her leg as she let out an agonizing scream.

"My leg!" She cried.

"Vivianne?" May shouted but there was no answer.

Suddenly, the lights flickered on.

"OH MY GOD!" May shouted as she saw that her ankle and arm had been twisted. Meredith had bruises all over her and her left leg had a huge bloody cut on it that reached from her ankle until her foot. There was also a knife that was next to it. Vivianne however, was unconscious and she looked like she was beaten up since she was the one who hit the ground first.

"Oh no!" Meredith shouted and began crying. "Why is there a knife in here!?"

"HELP!" May shouted, hoping that someone could hear them from outside.

Clayton and Oli were in the halls, talking with Evander and Robert.

"We need to get Sal out." Clayton declared.

"I was just gonna tell you the same thing." Evander chuckled.

"Look, I'm sorry about you, Evander." Oli said as he put a hand on the beefhead's shoulder. "Sal's been trying to mess with me too. I think he's targeting all of us whether eliminated or not."

Meanwhile, Sal was spying on them from afar.

"What the hell are they trying to do?" He hissed.

Robert widened his eyes.

"Wow, I never knew Sal would go this fa-"

Suddenly, the medical team came rushing down the halls, passing the four boys.

"What the- why are the medic in a hurry?" He asked.

"Should we follow?" Clayton eyed the three. They nodded and ran after the medic.

"The hell?" Sal said to himself as he followed them as well.

They took a sharp turn and they couldn't help but gasp as they saw three girls being carried away.

"What the fuck?!" Oli shrieked. "Vivianne, May, and Meredith!? Jeez, this is going mad! And I thought this was a happy musical season, full of music and rainbows in lalaland!"

Robert smacked his forehead. "No, you idiot! Come on, we gotta let the hosts know!"

"Oh god." Sal gagged. He ran a hand to his pocket. "Oh my god, where's my knife!?"

Moments later, the whole cast was on the main lobby of the cruise.

"So, we have an announcement to make." Candela walked in front of the cast, who were seated on some chairs and couches. "Vivianne and Meredith are unable to compete, due to severe injuries. They will officially be eliminated. Which means, you guys are in the final seven."

Confessional: Oh my God, yes?

Mairead: Whoa. We just merged and we already lost two contestants? Gosh, how could this world be so cruel?

Faith: While on the other hand, I'm happy that we're two steps near the finale. But Meredith, Vivianne, and May? Come on! May's not even in the game anymore! Meredith didn't do anything wrong and Vivianne… she was the closest friend I have on this show! This could mean the only thing…

Sal: People are going to blame me, I know. That's my knife that cut Meredith's leg, but I swear, I wasn't the one who pushed May and have all three of them fall down the stairs! Come on, I'm not that cruel! I even lost my knife!"

End confessional

"And the only clue we have is this." Don announced as he held up the knife. "Who owns this?"

Sal raised his hand, but had an uneasy face.

"That's mine. But I swear I didn't push them off the stairs! I'll admit, I lost my knife while at the basement from a huge fight I had with Olivia and Faith, but I didn't go back there because I got hit by a f****** box!" Sal shouted as he gestured to the huge lump on his head, causing some of the others to gasp.

"So, who could've done it?" Xavier wondered. "Sal is literally the only one… 'evil' here, but I don't think anyone else has the guts to do that!"

"Xavier has a point." Faith spoke up as she and Olivia stayed close to each other. "After our fight earlier, Olivia and I went somewhere to chill off from what just happened and he was unconscious when we left him so I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be that strong enough to push them by that time."

"Unless it could be part of the staff." Clayton stood up. The others gasped again, and some turned their attention to him. "Or the ones who were eliminated. We should interrogate them."

"Speaking of the staff," Chris began. "Where are they? Chef can you go get them?"

"On it." Chef replied and exited the scene.

"If they're part of the staff, I'll have them fired." Candela made a fist. "We can't let something like that happen again. First the forms, and now this?"

Everyone stayed in silence for a good five minutes until Chef entered the scene with Dustin, Eden, Maya, Mara, Dean, Noah, and Louiza.

"Alright. Now you guys, have you guys heard of the incident?"

"Yeah, we saw the medic." Dustin informed. "But… why'd you guys called us?"

"Because," Chris said. "Who knows maybe one of you could've done it?"

Just then, the ship rumbled hard, causing everything to fall off from the shelves. Everyone fell to the ground.

"What's going on?!" Louiza shouted.

"I think the ship is sinking!" Mara whimpered.

"WHAT KIND OF SHOPPING TRIP IS THIS!?" Maya roared.

After a few minutes of the ship shaking, water began filling ul the lobby.

"Guys we need to get out of here!" Noah shouted as he motioned everyone out of the lobby.

"Be careful!" Dean warned as he led the way.
