Draco stamped through the corridors of Hogwarts with a hug scowl on his face. 'Snape needs to stay out of my business!' he sneered as his feet moved to the Slytherin Dungeon. 'Playing the wise-guy! Bloody know-it-all!' A humming announced someone else was coming his way and he stood still about two meters before the end of the corridor. Normally, he would make certain he was out of the other's sight, but he somehow didn't care this time. 'If they question my presence, I'll just blame Snape! It's his fault anyway!' he grumbled angry. He should have been curled up against Neville at the moment! He sneered again as the humming came closer. His thoughts immediately stopped as suddenly Dumbledore walked past him.
The Headmaster looked at him, smiled and gave him a nod before moving further into the connecting corridor. Draco just watched him walk by with a blank mind. 'He's going out?' he suddenly wondered and took a step after him, before stopping himself. 'He's going to know I'm following him,' he realised as Dumbledore had even acknowledged him. 'I should be able to see him through a window higher up!' he decided before turning around and running to the staircases. As he reached the window in one of the towers he looked outside, and it didn't take long before Dumbledore strode outside. 'He's really leaving!' The blond's breath got caught in his throat. 'This is it!' he realised, and his body wobbled a little. Leaning against the wall beside him he tried to stabilise himself, but his breathing kept picking up.
'I need to warn-' he couldn't even think it. His knees gave out and he slipped down against the stone wall. Putting his head between his legs, he tried to get his breathing back under control and closed his eyes. 'I need to safe everyone!' Breathe in. 'Myself, mother…' Breathe out. 'Father, Neville.' Breathe in and out. 'This is the only way! Or he'll kill us all!' Raising his head again, he noted his hands were trembling and for a brief moment he wondered if he could really do it. 'I need too!' He forced himself back on his feet and stumbled back to the window. Dumbledore was gone of course, but he took a moment to simply stare at the night sky. Slowly he rolled up his left sleeve and with trembling fingers, touched his Dark Mark. Closing his eyes, a tear slipped from them as he pressed on the Mark.

"We're just keeping an eye on it," Ginny said to the reluctant Neville.
"We're not entering!" the dark blond stated once more, and the reddish haired girl nodded. 'Because I can't! I can't enter the Room of Requirement!' Neville thought hopelessly.
"We're not," Ginny smiled at him encouraging and stopped before the wall, which hid the entrance door. "Nothing's probably going to happen!" she smiled at him reassuringly when suddenly the door opened. Neville stared in shock at Draco, who looked just as startled at him before the blond threw something in the air and everything turned black around them. Next the dark blond was flying through the air to the other side of the corridor. His side collided hard with the ground and not being able to see anything, he still crawled back up, immediately. Nearly standing, again he got hit with the same spell, which forced him into a connecting corridor. There he was suddenly out of the black air, but he still was unable to see anything, only hear the others' voices in the dark cloud before him.
'I need to help Ginny!' he thought frantically when suddenly the girl appeared in front of him, stumbling out of the blackness.
"Go, Neville, go!" she yelled at him and helplessly he stared at the dark for a last time. He could hear Bellatrix's evil laugh and knew Draco was also somewhere inside it. "Go!" Ginny yelped again as she blocked a curse just in time. Forcing himself into action, Neville got up and started running.
'We need to warn the others!'

Shivering Draco stood in front of the Astronomy Tower's door.
"Go on, Draco," Bellatrix urged him on. "He's all yours," she chuckled and gave her nephew a push on the back to make him move. Remembering the ones he wanted to protect, the blond stepped forward and slowly walked up the stairs. He could hear voices but couldn't distinguish who they were or what they were talking about. Raising his wand, he stepped on the top platform and found Dumbledore simple waiting on him.
"Good evening, Draco. What brings you here on this fine spring evening?" the Headmaster questioned. The blond could see that the old man wasn't his usual self and seemed to be struggling to stay upright.
"Who else is here? I heard you talking," he countered with his own question as his eyes roomed over their surroundings, trying to see if he could find Dumbledore's conversation partner.
"I often talk aloud to myself. I find it extraordinarily useful. Have you been whispering to you yourself, Draco? Draco, you are no assassin." Those words got to him.
'Mother, Father, Neville,' he repeated in his head. 'I won't let him play me!' "How do you know what I am?! I've done things that would shock you!"
"Like cursing Katie Bell and hoping that, in return, she would bear a cursed necklace to me? Like replacing a bottle of mead with one laced with poison? Forgive me, Draco, but I cannot help feeling these actions are so weak that your heart couldn't really be in them."
'My heart was in it! Just not in the way you're thinking… I can't disappoint Our Lord!'
"He trusts me! I was chosen!" he forced himself to say and raised his sleeve before showing his Dark Mark. 'I don't have a choice!' Dumbledore stared at him in pity.
"I shall make it easy for you..." Unhurriedly the Headmaster raised his wand, but Draco wasn't going to give the other any opportunities. He couldn't.
"Expelliarmus!" he quickly spelled, and Dumbledore's wand flew out of his hand.
"Very good, very good," the Headmaster praised him when suddenly the door beneath them opened.
'Can't they wait?!' Panic rose.
"You're not alone? There are others? How?" Now he truly had gotten Dumbledore's attention.
"The Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirement. I've been mending it," he revealed.
"Let me guess. It has a sister? A twin?" the Headmaster sounded impressed.
"At Borgin & Burke's. They form a passage," the blond continued.
"Ingenius. Draco, years ago, I knew a boy who made all the wrong choices. Please let me help you." Draco couldn't stand to hear him say that.
'It's too late for that!' He felt tears run down his cheeks and sniffed in despair. "I don't want your help! Don't you understand? I have to do this! I have to kill you! Or he's going to kill me..." 'and everyone I care about!' The footsteps of the other Death Eaters got closer and Bellatrix stepped into the top platform with Fenrir right behind her. Even more stopped behind him, but Draco didn't care who they were.
"Well, look what we have here. Well done, Draco!" his aunt congratulated him as she stopped beside him.
"Good evening, Bellatrix. I think introductions are called for," Dumbledore tried to lighten the situation.
"Love to, Albus, but I'm afraid we're on a bit of a tight schedule." She turned back to her nephew. "Do it!" she encouraged him. Draco glanced from her back to Dumbledore before eyeing his trembling wand.
"He doesn't have the stomach... just like his father. Let me finish him in my own way," Fenrir sneered, and the blond could see the mock in his eyes.
"No! The Dark Lord was clear. The boy's to do it. This is your moment. Do it! Go on, Draco! NOW!" Bellatrix wasn't going to let anyone ruin her Lord's plan.
"No," Draco had never been so happy to hear Snape's voice in his life and turned around to him to beg him to help him with his eyes. The man had been offering it for months! Now he got his chance!
"Severus... please," Dumbledore sounded defeated to the blond's ears, but there was also something else in his voice. Resentment maybe? Or was it acceptance?
"Avada Kedavra!" Draco almost couldn't believe it, but he saw it himself. Snape casting the Killing Curse at Dumbledore, who got hit before falling over the rail behind him. The blond could only stare in shock at the place Dumbledore had been standing. Only as Snape started to pull him with him, did he start to move. Stumbling outside, Draco staggered past Hagrid's house, which his aunt had been more than happy to set on fire as Harry's voice started to yell from behind him. Snape forced him to continue his way as he confronted the Boy-Who-Lived.
'What's going to happen now?' the blond wondered with a last look at the castle. He hoped with whole his heart Neville was safely inside. 'I should have found a way to keep him away from the Room of Requirement!' he scolded himself as he remembered those startled blue eyes. He hoped by attacking him himself, he had succeeded in saving his life. 'He's going to hate me once he finds out about Dumbledore… but I didn't kill him, Snape did…' He was relieved that he wasn't the one who did it but dreaded the consequences. The Dark Lord won't be happy.
"Draco!" Bellatrix called for him to continue moving and with a heavy heart he turned his back on Hogwarts.

"Sit down, son," Madam Pomfrey pointed to the bed next to the one containing Professor Flitwick before turning back to Bill Weasley.
"Bill?!" Ron noted his brother and quickly joined him while Hermione and Luna helped Neville sit down. He had gotten a little thrown around at the Room of Requirement and his side hurt. But after taking a little bit of the Felix Felicis, not one curse had hit him. Not any of them, who had taken the Liquid Gold. They had gotten lucky. Unlike Bill, who had gotten bitten by Fenrir. The dark blond looked on as Poppy fussed over the Weasley, but there wasn't a lot she could do. No one knew if he would change or not. The atmosphere didn't get any better when Ginny entered together with Harry and informed them of the terrible loss they had suffered.
"Professor Dumbledore's dead," she said heartbroken.
"Snape killed him," Harry added clearly angry and upset. "He used the Avada Kedavra curse on him after Dumbledore even pleaded with him." The colour drained from Neville's face as he knew this was all Draco's doing.
'This is what he had been working on.' His heart hurt. 'If only I had said something!' Guilt filled his entire body, but he couldn't say anything. 'The vow…'
-DNDN-
Standing alone before the White Tomb that now contained Dumbledore's body, Neville finally let his tears run freely. The funeral had ended hours ago, but he hadn't been able to leave.
"I'm sorry!" he confessed. "I should have stopped him. I'm so sorry!" he cried. "I should have known." He fell to his knees. "I'm a bloody fool for believing in him," he sobbed. "This is all my fault. I should have never agreed to that vow, but I didn't see any other way," he tried to explain himself. "I should have said something. Made him tell me what he was doing!" He wiped at the tears in his eyes. Helplessly, he stared at the stars above him and closed his eyes. He had never felt more useless.

Draco just stared at the partying Death Eaters around him celebrating Albus Dumbledore's death. He could see his aunt Bellatrix running from one side to the other while splashing beer everywhere. Snape was sitting beside Voldemort, who looked more than pleased with his minion.
"Draco?" his mother soft voice entered his ear and he turned his head towards her. "You did well," she smiled sadly.
"Has he said anything yet?" Draco questioned with his eyes back on the Dark Lord.
"He wants to see you after the celebration," Narcissa said with a hint of fear in her voice. Draco could only nod to her as fear filled his entire body. "Let's sit down," she suggested and led him to a nearby table. As he sat down a butterbeer appeared before him as his mother received a glass of red wine. She smiled encouraging at him and took a sip of her drink. As he also nipped from his butterbeer someone bumped into him hard and he looked up to find Fenrir smirking at him before Bellatrix pushed the werewolf away from him with her weird dancing. They kept sitting there, pretending to be celebrating until the Dark Lord finally retreated to one of the connecting rooms.
"Come now," Narcissa said as she ushered her son on his feet. They made their way through the crowd and found Snape waiting on them at the door. Severus simply nodded at them before entering the room before them. Voldemort stood in front of a fireplace, while patting Nagini's head.
"Draco, Draco…" he said without turning around, instead the snake eyed the blond. "You've disappointed me," Voldemort continued almost saddened. "You didn't finish your mission," he stated as Nagini hissed at the scared teen. Parseltongue left the Dark Lord's mouth and the snake choose to ignore Draco further, which the blond was more than glad for. "But," Voldemort switched back to English, "with your actions you did create the perfect opportunity." The snake-like head nodded approvingly at him.
"So, you weren't a complete failure. Your father will join us soon." The Dark Lord leaned towards him. "But you failed your little lion," he grinned before straightening again and turning away from him. Snape's eyes widened at those words and he frowned at the blond. 'He can probably guess…' Draco realised as he knew he had become less careful during class. Feeling his mother's hand on his back, he let her lead him outside again.

-Start of the new school year-
Standing in front of the Hogwarts Express, Neville didn't know what to think. Snape had become Headmaster, Voldemort had taken over the Ministry and Harry, Ron and Hermione were on the run. He sighed and saw blond hair skip his way. For a moment Draco's face flashed through his mind, but he quickly shook off that thought as Luna came up to him.
"Good morning, Neville. We should get on if we want a safe spot," she smiled sweetly.
"Morning, Luna," the dark blond greeted back and let her enter first. For once they choose to sit in the open compartments and Ginny was quick to join them. Neville couldn't stop himself from looking out for Draco and felt a little disappointed when the train departed before he had seen him.
'He's probably somewhere in a private coach.' He stared outside and watched the landscape change as the two girls talked about superficial things. 'I shouldn't be disappointed!' he started his pep talk. 'I should be glad! I'm not falling down that rabbit hole again!' He nodded to himself, when suddenly the train stopped. Worried they looked at each other and it didn't take long before Death Eaters were striding through the middle aisle. Just seeing them made something in Neville break lose. He just had enough and got up from his seat as they got closer.
"Hey losers!" he called out and immediately got their attention. "He isn't here!" he stated matter of fact and the front man of the Death Eaters narrowed his eyes at him in annoyance. Suddenly the compartment door behind the dark blond opened and in stepped none other than Draco Malfoy. Neville's heart seemed to stop for a moment, but the blond didn't grant him one look, instead he walked past him to stop in front of the Death Eater.
"You're wasting time," the blond stated and got a despising look from the older man, before the Death Eater turned around and disappeared from the train. With the intruders gone, Draco twirled around again and still his eyes refused to meet the Gryffindor's. Instead he strode past him again, lightly brushing their shoulders together before Crabbe let him through to return to their coach. Suddenly feeling drained Neville sat back down and Ginny grabbed his hand.
"That was really brave," she smiled at him, but the worry was clear to see in her eyes.
"Playing the knight in shining armour," Luna shook her head before smiling at him.
'I wouldn't really call it that…' Neville thought confused. Slowly the Hogwarts Express started moving again and the dark blond eyes went back to staring outside. 'That was a great start…'
-DNDN-
Sitting at the Gryffindor table, Neville could only stare at the new Headmaster, who was introducing the Muggle Studies and the Defence Against the Dark Arts professors Alecto and Amycus Carrow.
'Death Eaters, no doubt.' The dark blond found the future looking bleak and watched on how the first years got sorted. After the start of term feast, together with Ginny, Neville made his way to the entrance hall where they would meet up with Luna. It didn't go unnoticed that the Slytherins were in their elements and started pushing everyone out of their way as they left the Great Hall. Trying to stay together in the crowd, the dark blond Gryffindor suddenly felt someone harshly smash against him and scratch his arm through his robe. Flinching in pain he pulled his arm against his chest and saw Pansy smirk at him with Draco walking beside her.
Blaise was guiding the blond away from them and Neville hated that he felt ignored again. Once they found Luna, Ginny manoeuvred both her friends to a quieter connecting corridor. There Neville pulled up his sleeve and saw three claw-like scratches lightly bleeding.
"Who did that?!" the reddish haired girl called out astonished.
"Pansy 'bumped' against me," the dark blond answered with a grimace while Luna took out her wand to heal him.
"This isn't going to be an easy year," she sighed as she patted the newly healed skin.
"No, and how far will they go?" Ginny questioned, but the others couldn't answer her.
-DNDN-
Neville was laying in the dorm bed, just staring at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep. 'Should I go?' he kept wondering. Draco might have been ignoring him all day, but maybe he was doing that intentionally and was actually waiting on him in the empty professor's quarters. He needed to talk to the other. He needed closure. Turning around again, he stared at Seamus' back. 'We're the only ones left…' Huffing he turned on his back again. 'Just going to see, isn't going to hurt anyone,' he told himself and sat up.
"Neville, don't," Seamus quiet voice sounded through the room. "He's not worth it," the Irish lad turned himself around so he could see his roommate. "Because of him, Dumbledore's death," he stated fiercely. "You need to stay away from him!"
"Snape killed Dumbledore," Neville had to voice it.
"And who made it possible?" Seamus questioned in disbelieve and the other couldn't retort. "He played you last year. Don't let him do it again!" Feeling the Irish teen watched him from the dark, the dark blond sighed and laid back down.
"You're probably right." 'He could have fought. He was scared – he still is - but taking another's life, is just taking the easy way out.' Sigh 'He could have come to me!' "How did you even know?" he wondered, and a chuckle was heard from the other bed.
"You couldn't keep your eyes of him the entire day." Neville groaned.
"I didn't think I was that obvious."
"Only half, with Draco obviously ignoring you, Zabini, Crabbe and Goyle keeping him away from you and Pansy seeming ready to throw the Killing Curse at you; it wasn't that hard to figure out." Seamus rolled around again. "I even saw Snape eyeing the both of you at one point." Blue eyes looked stunned at his roommate.
"That doesn't sound good," he mumbled, and a shrugging sound was heard from the other bed. 'Yeah, maybe it's better I stay away from him.' He forced his eyes closed and hoped sleep would eventually claim him.
-DNDN-
By lunch, Neville and Seamus sat down in front of Ginny, completely shocked and pale.
"We're not going to survive," the Irish teen whispered to the girl. They had just had Defence Against the Dark Arts and Amycus Carrow had literally said they would be learning the three Unforgivable Curses.
"I was thinking," Ginny started, and the boys looked at her, "D.A," she mouthed, and Neville's eyes widened.
"Yes!" Seamus immediately agreed. They both looked hopeful at the dark blond, who was at a loss for words. 'We'll need the Room of Requirement again!'
"Definitely," he smiled forcefully. 'I need to speak to Draco!'
"Let's meet after class," Ginny decided, and Neville knew he was running out of time.
"I promised Professor Sprout to check the greenhouses with her," he lied too smoothly for his liking.
"All right, tomorrow then," the Weasley girl decided and the dark blond nodded at her. "Tomorrow."
-DNDN-
As he got closer to the empty professor's quarters, Neville felt his heartbeat pick up. 'Go on!' he encouraged himself and took the last steps before stopping before the door. He heard something fall down on the other side of the wood and his heart betrayed him by hoping for things he shouldn't. 'I'm here for closure! And entrance to the Room of Requirement!' Taking a deep breath, he raised his hand for it to be grabbed and before he realised it, he was being pulled away from the professor's quarters. He got pushed inside an empty classroom and looked a little shocked at Draco.
"Thank Merlin, I can in time!" the blond panted. "Amycus Carrow had taken resident in our quarters."
The 'our' made Neville's heart skip a beat and he quickly ordered himself: 'NO!'
"But I'm glad you came," Draco confessed while trying to grab the Gryffindor's hands, but Neville quickly stepped backwards.
"I'm not doing that!" he stated with his hands up in defence.
"Nev?" the Slytherin tried. "I had no choice."
"Because of you Dumbledore's dead!" The dark blond needed more space between them and turned around before walking to a nearby desk.
"I didn't have a choice! You-Know-Who was going to kill everyone I care about!" He could hear the other come closer. "My father, my mother, myself," he tried to joke the last one, "and you, Neville." Shocked and scared, Neville twirled around to be able to see the other's face. "He knows about you. I had one chance to keep you safe and…" the dark blond frowned at those words, "I failed you."
"What does that even mean?" Neville's voice sounded hoarse.
"He was going to spare you…"
"So what?!" the dark blond burst out. "You really think I was going to watch all of my friends die and then become your little trophy?" Greyish eyes widened.
"No! Not like that-"
"You didn't even think it through, did you?!" Neville was furious. "He would only use me to keep you in check. One misstep and he'll kill me!"
"I wouldn't let him!" Draco yelled desperately and the dark blond just looked at him with pity.
"You wouldn't be able to stop him." The Slytherin wanted to retort but clearly couldn't. "But that not why I'm here," the Gryffindor quickly continued and the other looked at him helplessly. "I need a favour," he said, and Draco's face became pokerfaced. Neville pulled out of his pocket the vial they had used for their vow. "You probably won't remember this as- well your memories if this are in here," he raised the vial.
"We did it!" the blond said to his surprise in a quiet voice.
"You remember?"
"Just the thought of how to make it," Draco said honestly and met the other's eyes. "To keep you away from the Room of Requirement, I suppose." Neville nodded.
"Correct, but now I need access to it." The blond started to catch up and pulled a thoughtful look.
"So, you want to renew the vow?"
"Preferably," the Gryffindor nodded.
"But what do I get?" Draco stepped closer until he had trapped the dark blond against a desk.
"What do you want?" Neville questioned with hesitation. He had thought about this. He knew he would need to give Draco something. The blond smirked at his words and leaned forward like he wanted to kiss him.
"What I want?" he questioned against his lips before withdrawing. "Is not something I can get with a vow," he confessed and turned around to think for a moment. Neville just watched him as he tried to calm down his crazy beating heart. "I'll give you those memories." The blond finally turned back to him. "And let's say I can only remember them when You-Know-Who has passed away indefinitely." Blue eyes widened in shock.
"You can't be serious."
"But I am," the Slytherin stated.
"You'd really do that?" Neville couldn't believe it and his heart was betraying him once more.
"Yes," Draco stepped closer to him again. "I already failed you once. Let me try to make up for it," he nearly begged, and the dark blond could do nothing but nod at him. "Okay, then I guess, we're going to the Room of Requirement." Draco held out his hand for him and against better judgement he accepted it.
-DNDN-
Holding the Gryffindor's hand made Draco feel lighter than he had in months. Somehow it made everything more worth it. As they stopped before the wall hiding the entrance of the Room of Requirement, he turned his attention back on the other, who was also eyeing the wall. Blue eyes turned to him as the door appeared in the corner of his eyes.
"You go first," Neville said, and the blond gave him a small comforting smile before stepping inside the room. The Gryffindor released his hand as he stepped further, and he balled it to a fist in an idle attempt to preserve the other's warmth. Instead the dark blond pulled the vial back in the open and took a deep breath before entering. As the doors closed behind Neville, the vial light up and broke in his hands. Draco just watched in astonishment as his memories returned to him in a silver fog and he frowned in confusion as he remembered Potter's boyfriend.
'What's so important about Potter's boyfriend?' he wondered as he eyed the Gryffindor before him. 'Ah, I get it…'
"Are you all right?" Neville asked carefully and the blond nodded.
"Let's continue," he said while thinking about a new vial, which the room was glad to provide. Next a desk with paper and a quill appeared before him. "This is a vow between Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom," he dictated, and the Gryffindor nodded. "Draco Malfoy will freely give up the memories inside the vial – this paper is attached too – only to be returned to him when Lord Voldemort, the Dark Lord, You-Know-Who-"
"Tom Marvolo Riddle!" Neville added and got a surprised look from the blond. 'I'm surprised they know his birth name.'
"Tom Marvolo Riddle has indefinitely passed away-"
"Is dead!" the dark blond corrected with a piercing look. "Actually, Tom Marvolo Riddle and his horcruxes are indefinitely dead and destroyed."
"Let's phrase that as Tom Marvolo Riddle is indefinitely death and his horcruxes are destroyed," Draco suggested to make things as clear as they could make it.
"That sounds correct," Neville nodded.
"All right let's sign it," the Slytherin pulled out his wand and without a word both signed it with their own blood.
"It would be best if you don't remember being in here," the Gryffindor said as the other spelled the paper around the flask. Draco couldn't help but be a little surprised.
"Then we'll close the vial outside. What are you going to say to me once I've lost my memories?" He was curious and saw the hesitation in those blue eyes.
"What's the last thing you'll remember?" Neville asked instead.
"The fight we had before." The Slytherin didn't want to miss the other's reaction to those words.
"Oh…" He didn't disappoint as the dark blond's face fell.
'See, there's still hope!' the blond encouraged himself.
"I'll… I'll say I ran away, and you followed me here," Neville made up on the spot and Draco nodded at him.
'That wouldn't be the first time.' "Let's go then," he waved his hand to the door and the Gryffindor went ahead of him. "It's best we don't do this in front of the Room of Requirement," the blond said as he also stepped outside and watched the door disappear behind him. "Let's use the classroom around the corner." The dark blond simply nodded at his proposal and both walked to the classroom. Once inside Draco opened the flask before casting the required spell on it. With a last glance at the other, he started collecting his memories and adding them to the vial. "The last one," he warned and remembered the conversation they just had. He watched the memories flow in the flask before Neville closed it with the cap. His mind was suddenly blank, and he felt like he was stuck in a daze. Confused he shook his head and looked up to find Neville standing in front of him.
"Do you have anything else to say?!" the Gryffindor shouted at him and he flinched in surprise.
"I-I-" His thoughts were so scrambled. 'What were we talking about?'
"You followed me here, dragged me inside and now you're at a loss for words?" Neville jeered in disbelieve.
'Dumbledore! Naturally, what else. Keeping him safe from You-Know-Who! But he doesn't believe me!' his thoughts were turning clearer with every second, but also more depressing. "Please give me a chance," he pleaded and saw the defeat in the dark blond's eyes.
"Why? We're on different sides of this war. What does it matter?"
"It does! It does to me!" Draco begged him and Neville sighed.
"There's no possible way that this could work." The Gryffindor stepped away from him to the door and silently opened it. Before leaving, he glanced back to the blond. "I'm sorry, Draco." Blue eyes sadly looked at him before disappearing into the corridor. Draco gasped for air as his chest felt like it had been pierced.
"No," he mumbled while crumbling down on the floor. "There must be a way," he sobbed and tried to wipe away the tears from his eyes. 'There has to be… I won't make it otherwise…' he confessed to himself for the first time.
-DNDN-
"This looks good," Neville said as he walked through the practice room the Room of Requirement had created for them.
"You can say that again," Ginny agreed. "Now how do we spread the word?"
"Like we did before. We use the coins," Luna held out her hand and revealed her D.A. coin.
"Smart idea, but Harry has the master coin," the male sighed sadly.
"No, he doesn't," Ginny smiled. "He gave it to me because I was returning to Hogwarts," she smiled while pulling it out of her pocket.
"That's great, next we also need to spread the word to the other students," the dark blond said thoughtful.
"Let's splatter the walls," the reddish haired girl grinned. "Let everyone – including the Death Eaters – know that we're still fighting." The three friends looked at each other with clear intent in their eyes.
"Let's do it!" Neville cheered. He took the master coin from Ginny and pointed his wand at it. "Dumbledore's Army is back!" he cheered.
