Summery: What if Haizaki Ryouhei, thought he lost something and turned back around only to witness Nosaka Yuuma talking to his 'comatised' childhood friend Miyano Akane. How would things play out from there?

I do not own Inazuma Eleven Orion.

Enjoy!

Hiazaki Ryouhei walked out of the hospital room that his unresponsive childhood friend Miyamo Akane was in, she was the reason he played soccer, he used the sport to get revenge on those who did this to her.

He was just rounding the corner when he felt his pockets.

He couldnt feel his wallet in his jeans.

Did he drop it in the hospital room?

It was in that moment reality divide as he turned around and walked right back to the room, only to discover that there was a gap left in the door and he was about to knock when he heard it.

Some other guys voice.

"This is what you like"

Against his better judgement, Hiazaki crouched down and peeked into the room only to recall in shock, his comatosed childhood friend was still on her bed clenching a group of flowers and smiling.

He couldn't believe his eyes.

The same girl he hadnt gotten a reaction out of for years, was now proving she could move a little and could smile.

But things were going to get even more unbelievable from than on.

The other person in the room, which he now realised was Nosaka Yuuma sat on her bedside and put down his bear.

"Today, I watched a match" Nosaka said.

Hiazaki watched her turn to face him.

"It turned out to be pretty useful...I made some discoveries" said Nosaka.

However, what Hiazaki was drawn to was his bear on the counter next to her bed, Nosaka hadn't made sure it was positioned right.

Hiazaki watched as the bear he won for her, tumbled down and fell straight into the trashcan below.

But she didn't even notice it.

She didn't even turn her head to see what the noise was.

She was completely fixed on the friend she made in the program that destroyed her mentally.

It felt like his heart had been thrown into that trash can.

It hurt.

He couldn't take it anymore.

He ran away.

He didn't know where he was going but he ran.

Somehow his feet took him to a nearby park and he stood in the woodland area where the shades were.

He dropped to his knees, as tears welled up in the corner of his eyes.

He didn't even care about his wallet anymore.

"Akane..." He said.

Had she been laughing at him this whole time?

He visited her every single day, ever since she was admitted to the hospital, he poured his heart and soul out to her.

Did she get a kick out of watching him dedicating years to her?

Was the reason she reacted to Nosaka was because they had been in the same Ares program?

The guy was blameless, he clearly did not know that he visited her often.

But Nosaka knew more about her than her own childhood friend did.

But what hurt the most was that she didn't even turn around when she heard something land, she was completely focused on Nosaka.

It was like he saw how Akane saw him.

As somebody disposable.

As somebody she could use and than just throw away.

He played soccer for this girl but the more he thought about it, the more enraged he got.

Fuck that girl.

How dare she string him along like some pet.

He was not someone's pet, he was worth far more than that.

He wiped his tears but he knew his eyes were red from all that crying, however he had long hair.

He messed it up to cover most of his eyes and used the tiny gaps to get back to his house, which after all these years was still a apartment.

He was mostly blind but he managed.

Once he got to the door, he turned to see Akane door, before he drempt of seeing Akane come out and greet him with a smile like in their childhood but now he felt empty.

He got out his house key and unlocked the door, he entered and warm air blew at him as he took off his shoes and entered the apartment.

"Welcome back, Ryouhei" said his mother, he was the only one who could have come in with a key.

"I'm home" he said .

However the instant those words came out of his mouth, his mother stopped chopping and her mother senses were telling her there was something seriously wrong with her only child.

She turned swiftly around but he was already gone, retreated swiftly back to his room and the door was locked.

He heard his mother knocking and calling him but he didn't respond.

He collapsed onto the floor and curled up.

What was his reason to play soccer now?

What was his reason to get up in the morning, than?

What was his reason to go to school?

Akano had been the driving force for him ever since he saw her like that.

Without that purpose, why should he do anything anymore?

Damn it.

He really had been a sheep.

He felt sick.

He ended up missing dinner which confirmed to his mother, there was indeed something wrong with him on the mental level.

He came out the next morning passed school time and his mother looked relieved to see him after getting off the phone with the school.

But that lasted until she realised she couldn't even see her own child's eyes because his hair was still covering them.

"Mom, just give me a few days." He said. "I'll be fine. I'll go back at school"

He had to be fine.

He was than shocked when his mother pulled him into a hug.

"No matter what. I'll always be here for you" she said, "Even if you don't want to talk about it. I will always be here for you"

And for the first time in hours, Hiazaki felt something.

He needed those words, and the tears just wouldn't stop falling.

Even though he was a teenager, he cried like a child to his mother.

He realised that he didn't just like Akane, he loved her and it was heart breaking to know he meant so little to her.

He was sure, his mother could feel his soul crying but she didn't shame him for it.

She just hugged him, tighter.

And that was all he needed in the moment.

Over the next few days, he did not leave his mother's side, he helped her anyway he could and slowly he disclosed to her that the girl who he visited religiously in the hospital was the one who hurt him.

If didn't take the woman long to realise who it wad, only Akane could hurt him that bad since he tended to stay away from everybody else because he didn't want to get emotionally attached to them.

It was a Tuesday, when Haizaki emerged from his room wearing his school uniform, the uncomfortable feeling of going to school after missing three days of it settled into his stomach.

How will he face everyone?

He joined his mother for breakfast and his mother gave him an encouraging hug.

Being heartbroken apparently was not a good enough reason to never go to school again.

Especially since he got into a expensive school on scholarship.

He walked out, feeling his heart pound in his chest, he made his way to the train station and sat down for half an hour to compose himself before getting off and walking to school, he soon started seeing other teens wearing his uniform or similiar.

He was noticed immediantly.

"No way. I thought he quit school" said one person.

"I heard he died." said another person.

"I heard he took days off to take part in a massive gang fight" said another person. "Not a scratch on him, he must have been amazing"

Of course when you give off the feeling that your about to explode any minute, people notice when your gone.

Rumours ranging from being transferred to being dead had run rampant around the school.

Despite his looks he was punctual.

However only the girls who loved romance novels guessed that he had his heart broken and got crazy looks in return.

He walked passed a few soccer members and didn't look back, before sitting in his usual seat.

When his teacher came in even he was surprised to see him, having thought he had finally snapped and was awaiting trail.

But Haizaki wasn't going to correct anybody on what happened, it was far too shameful for him.

The class started and something unbelievable happened.

Haizaki took out a notebook and actually started taking notes instead of staring out the window and somehow passing with high marks.

Haizaki was determined to become a success to his mother and spoil her, for too long she worked hard to make sure he went to a top school while they lived in a small apartment in a apartment complex.

"Is he taking notes?" Said one person.

"It can't be. He's drawing, not taking notes" said another.

It seems he had become a specticle.

He didn't care though and took the class seriously, when break arrived, he went to the rooftop, despite getting the feeling he should try to make friends, he was consumed with a disgusting feeling.

What if they hurt him like Akane had?

He had some food before going back and once again taking the class seriously before lunch.

He began walking, when somebody slammed into him.

A guy who just went around the corner.

The guy looked up and his face paled when he saw him.

"Hhhhiiiieeee! I'm sorry!" Screamed the guy
"Not the face!" Expecting to be grabbed by the collar and almost punched.

However Haizaki felt nothing and said. "I'm not going to hit you. Just watch where your going next time"

He than walked away, while the whole corridor was silent, there were people in class as well and everybody looked shocked.

Did that actually happen!?

Was that a fluke or did Hiazaki loose his fangs?

He went up to eat lunch while people mauled over what happened.

He came down and was bumped from the shoulder, normally he would try to cream whoever did it but he just carried on walking.

"No way, did he actually lose his fangs?" He heard behind him.

He went to the next class and took it seriously, however he was soon pelted with paper that hit him harmlessly in the back of the head.

However he didn't react at all and carried on with notes.

Seeing this more people tried this while the teachers back was turned.

The normal him would either give a death glare or get up and call out bs regardless of the teachers involvement.

He still did nothing.

"No way. Hes a wuss now" said, somebody.

He ignored them and carried on, no matter what they did to him.

He endured it until the school bell rung, a pile of paper had formed around him.

Of course the teacher saw it, but couldn't really believe it.

It was obviously they were thrown at him but the teacher couldn't believe he had turned into a victim.

He than proceeded to picked up all the paper and put them into the bin, cleaning up other people's mess through the whole classroom.

His classmates and teacher stared in shock.

Haizaki?

Did Haizaki have a twin brother and they swapped identies for the day?

People could only go and stare, the teacher told him he didn't have to do it but he said he wanted to, shocking the woman.

He finished and he went to the soccer club, he actually went there instead of being dragged and put a note on the door before walking back home.

He didn't even care enough to see the guys progress while he took a thousand steps back.

He walked through the gate and headed to the train station knowing somebody had probably seen him leave the note and was alarting the rest of the members to come see.

Half way through his journey, he got a call from his captain, but not only did he cancel it, he deleted his number.

He deleted the best football strategist in the country number and than put the number on his block list.

All his former captain will hear is the disconnect sound and not even a voicemail.

When the train stopped at his station, out of habit he realised he was heading to the hospital but pulled himself away.

He couldn't let that girl control him, even though he wanted to turn around and see her, he wanted to pretend that he never saw or heard anything.

He thought talking to her would make her receptive in someway but a person from the program who set her back mentally was more important to her than he was.

He didn't even know she didnt like bears anymore, she never bothered to even indicate to him with the little movement that she had.

He was that worthless to her.

He went to his apartment and said. "I'm home" as he entered the apartment.

His mother looked surprised to see him so early.

But it really seemed like he would never visit Akane in the hospital ever again.

Akane...what did you do to my son? Thought his mother, if she ever saw that girl again, she would make sure that girl stays as far away from her son as possible.

# At the Soccer club#

"I thought we made progress with him. What happened?" Said one player.

Kidou had taken down Haizaki note, it basically said, Haizaki quit the club and was quitting soccer in general.

In the last match he was so sure, Haizaki would come to practise, they were up against the team that had been raised by the Aris system in the next match.

Against a team that excellent they really would crash and burn without an ace striker.

What happened?

"Did you hear?" Said another player. "Haizaki was acting super weird today"

"Weird?" Said Kidou turning around to the player who was suddenly on the spot.

The player almost jumped.

"If you know something, please tell me" said Kidou.

"W-Well" said the player. "How can I describe it? It was like Haizaki had lost one half of his soul. People are saying he lost his fangs. He was just kind of there today. People are saying something serious must have happened to him because he refuses to defend himself or get mad. It's like he's a totally different person"

Everybody was shocked especially Kidou.

Even though he wasn't telling anybody what had happened, looking at him from afar everybody could tell from a glance that Haizaki had returned but not entirely as himself.

Something had sent him back.

It was the worst thing to happen to the team, they had literal days before they went up against the team Outei Tsukinomiya, lead by none other than Nosaka Yuuma.

The best player in the tournament.

Quit the club?

Kidou was prepared to drag Haizaki kicking and screaming onto that field if he had to.

And scene!
