Okay… I want to be perfectly clear. I never watch the TTG series in a long time, since I stopped watching mid season 2. I never like the show, I never enjoyed its bad humor, it's zero character development, lack of story, or making fun of the original on a few occasions. There is a reason why I avoid the Teen Titans Go to the Movies like that of the plague. So I don't get my brain cells killed by watching a train wreck in slow motion. I know that people says it was good, I still won't watch because of what it is, a superhero movie mocking superhero movies with the Teen Titans being the running gag. Still, with the stinger at the end credits with the original Titans appearing saying that they're coming back, I am ecstatic about it. But instead of an actual season six of the original that we were waiting for, we get a direct to DVD of the Teen Titans vs. Teen Titans Go! film. And that's when I loose all hope to the franchise.

Now I never watched the trailer, nor the actual movie, but I do have the gist of it. From what I can piece together, it involved some kind of magical megufin where it open portals to alternate universes and it focuses on the Titans in general. Which tends to lead to both the original and the TTG versions meeting each other and considering the situation, hilarity ensues. So basically it's the TTG Titans being silly of the situation while the original Titans try to be serious. Yeah, it's just stupid. And while they do have a feud with each other, they managed to work together to stop Trigon, the profound bad guy behind the reality warp, with the help of the Titans of past and future, including a few surprises. Again, this is all I can put together, as I never had the chance in watching the trailer or actual movie.

So now come the question if I would watch it or not. Well… Probably… I mean it has the original Titans that had never made an appearance since 2006. But with the TTG characters involved, it's going to be a sticking point for me. I mean, I could use that mini movie as part of the Phosphophillite Chronicles. But that's going to be a long time before I get around to it. I'll think about it for some time.

Let's take a look at the last chapter's readout. So far, nothing to report. While I didn't get much in reviews, I do have over 150 hits, so at least it was getting attention. Still, though, the review mark is starting to get dry all of a sudden. No one didn't want to talk to me of how I'm doing with this story. Hell, the last chapter didn't have any reviews either. Don't know if people are loosing the slightest of interest, or they just don't know what to say. Oh well… At least I have this chapter that will leave everyone talking. Hopefully…

Getting to the next chapter of BioTitans, the team entered the Farmer's Market in order to find a few more ingredients to complete Langford's Lazurus Vector. Unfortunately, they will be in trouble when they would encounter a dangerous and deadly linebacker with a brutalizing kill streak. Will they be able to get out with the ingredients? Let's see…

Chapter Notes

In this chapter, it will take place in the Farmer's Market in Bioshock. But it's not going to be the Market in the main game. I was thinking of using the Market map from the multiplayer game in Bioshock 2. The reason why is that way it maps out. A round circle filled with shops and markets. I am going to add a few things to this map. The first is an additional wing that came from the original game where you get to go to both the Silverwing Apiary and Worley Winery. This is where the team would split up to get the ingredients quicker. The second thing to change is there's something that haven't been added into the two Bioshock games. For those of you who don't know, Bioshock did have their own football teams throughout the city. The promotional photos show a game that was canceled and there were splicers dressed in football gear. Yet we never see a sporting arena, or anything sports related. So I thought I would add a sporting arena in this chapter, located at the end of the market on the other side, where the winery in the multiplayer map, as an entrance to an arena for a variety of sports. Now I won't show the arena just yet, that will be on the next two chapters. However, I will add a certain character from the multiplayer mode. That character is Danny Wilkins, a professional football player that was spliced up in the game. I was thinking that in the story I use this character for a certain type of splicer that fits his character. You need to read to see what I'm talking about.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Teen Titans or Bioshock.

Chapter Twenty-Two: Farmers Market

'The parasites hate three things: free markets, free will, and free men.'
Andrew Ryan

In the main entrance of the Farmer's Market, the place was quiet as there's not a soul around. But then, the airlock door started to spin by the knob and slowly started to open up. Sliding open, the Teen Titans stepped out and looked on to see where they were. Robin soon looked up to the sign over the security door that is green that has the title, 'Farmer's Market'. Starring at the sign, he knew that they made it. He soon got his communicator out and contacted Atlas with the progress.

Robin: "Atlas, we've made it to the Farmer's Market. We need to start finding the two ingredients Langford needs for her work. Any idea on where we can start?"

Atlas face appeared and shrugged it off.

Atlas: "Seems easy to put together after hearing what the botanist wants. Let's see… Those enzyme samples Langford wanted is a no brainer. The Silverwing Apiary is loaded with those samples. You should look in there. As for the distilled water, the market could have plenty of it. Search every shop that has it. You might get lucky. But I do advice you to be careful. There's a really good reason as to why the Market was locked down."

Robin nodded and got the message.

Robin: "Not a problem. We'll get all of them as soon as we can. Out."

He soon closed the communicator, and turned to tell everyone where to go.

Robin: "All right team, we got our objective. We need to search the market to find the two ingredients Langford needs for her work. We better hurry. If we don't find these ingredients in time, there won't be any air to breathe in."

The others heard him and knew that this is getting down to the wire.

Starfire: "Indeed. With a city this big, and a lot of people in it, there is no telling how long until we start suffocating."

Raven: "So, where do we begin?"

Robin: "Well, finding the enzymes won't be a problem. We need to find a place called Silverwing Apiary. That's where we'll find the second ingredient."

BB raised an eyebrow and was confused about that.

Beast Boy: "Apiary… What the heck does that mean?"

Cy look down to him and slapped him right at the head, letting him know what it means.

Cyborg: "It's a bee farm, Beast Boy. C'mon. You've been living with animals all your life and you don't know what that means?"

He turned to the hybrid and reminded him of his experience.

Beast Boy: "Hey! I've been living with animals since the day I was born. I never heard a farm filled with bees called that."

Robin looked to this argument, and shrugged it off, continuing on with finding the next ingredient.

Robin: "The distilled water would be another story. With the Farmer's Market this big, there could be some scattered about. It's best we start finding some, or at least finding a clue as to where to find some. We better hurry though, time is short."

The group soon headed straight to the entrance of the market, hoping to begin the search. But upon getting there, they notice a body of a female dressed in a beekeeper uniform, covered in blood and stale honey with a shotgun to the side and an audio log on her hand. Starring at it, the group could tell that she must've been at the Apiary.

Terra: "Whoa… That's not good. Sign of things to come?"

Robin look down to the body and figured that it was the case. Bending down, he noticed scorch marks on the back and knew a certain splicer was behind it.

Robin: "Looks that way. Judging by the scorch marks, it must've been done by a Houdini splicer. This market must be crawling with them."

He soon look to the audio log and hit play to see what it contains. That's when he heard the voice of the beekeeper threatening a certain botanist.

'Julie, my dear, I am trying to run a business here. You wanna spend time with my honeybees, well, I'm gonna have to start charging you for the pleasure. If I come out one more time and find you lolling out there amongst my hives, I'm grabbing my shotgun. As to your question, yes, my days in beekeeping school are a blur, but I do seem to remember something about that enzyme you keep blabbing on about.'

The recording stopped as the team heard it all. By the sound of it, it would seem that Langford must've been at the bee farm a couple of times and didn't look like that this beekeeper wasn't too thrilled.

Beast Boy: "Seesh… Sounds like someone wasn't happy to see someone. Langford must've been there but never got around collecting the enzymes."

Robin heard it too and figured it was the case.

Robin: "It does seem that way. But it seems like she was going to leave the market and meet up with Langford. Judging by the attack, she didn't have the time in escaping. Tread carefully. We don't know what we're up against when we enter the market."

Getting up, he and the others approached the door as it slowly opened for them. Walking into the watery tunnel, they could see separate domes filled with trees, all of which were affected by the gas that Ryan used to kill them. Turning to the corner, they notice a sign on the floor that's tilted that says 'Jazz Tonight', with the Farmer's Market hung over the door of a huge building. With the door opening, they could see entered the main lounge area and wondered where they were. Suddenly, they could hear gun shots coming from the end with an arch to show the view.

Cyborg: "Hey! You guys hear that? Sounds like shooting. Maybe someone is out there."

Raven: "Or it's splicers taking out a Big Daddy. We see splicers facing them lately."

Robin heard that and decided to investigate what is happening.

Robin: "Let's check and see what we're up against. Remember to keep your distance. We don't know what we're facing just yet."

The others heard him and got the message. Slowly they started to approach the edge of the observation area of the lounge to see what all that firing was all about. What they found was truly breathtaking. In front of them, it looked like some kind of courtyard that has a fountain in the middle with four statues with their heads down and an L like design on their heads that was pouring water. There was also a small set of stairs that lead up to a restaurant with a sparking red sign that says, 'Bistro' and murals on the wall depicting farmers working hard on the field. Really strange because the murals are outside when in reality, they are all in the bottom of the Atlantic ocean. Regardless, the place sure looked beautiful, even if everything else looked so trashy with debris scattered about and bodies sprinkled in. Most of them look fresh, as some sort of battle must've taken place. As if on queue, a small group of splicers were backing away and were firing their Tommy guns and carbines to shoot at something they're fearful for.

"Shoot it! Shoot it!"

"Is it following us?!"

"What do you think? That bastard kept chasing us for a while now! He just doesn't rest, does he?"

"Just keep shooting! He needs to go down sometimes!"

They keep on firing, not realizing that the Titans were watching the fight unfurled. Suddenly, one of them notices something and warned the others.

"Look out!"

Just then, a red barrel appeared and flew towards them. None of them didn't have the time to register the attack until it landed on them and exploded, sending them flying and burning. They were all soon dead as they could hear the voice of a low and monstrous man celebrating it like that of a victory.

"Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about! A long drive all the way!"

Almost immediately, something was huge that came out from the wreckage. It almost looked like a splicer, but is twice the size as, if not more so then a Big Daddy. He was wearing what appeared to be a football uniform complete with shoulder pads, chin guards, and a helmet. But it looks like it was showing some wear and tear in the shirt and pants and a helmet rusting and the guard broken. The huge splicer soon celebrated.

"That's right! That's what you get when you cross with Danny Wilkins! The MVP of all of Rapture!"

He soon jumped on the Farmer's Market sign to make his exit, only for it to snap and slant to one side before jumping into the Bistro. The moment he vanished, the group watched it all go down and was quiet about it by fear. That's when Terra broke it off and demanded on what happened.

Terra: "Uh… What was that?! Some kind of splicer?"

Cy overheard her and was confused about that.

Cyborg: "That was a splicer? Girl, that almost look like a Big Daddy without the armored suit! Langford never said anything about that monstrosity. What do you think it is?"

Robin looked at it as well and remembered the splicer calling himself Danny Wilkins. If he remembered correctly, Atlas and Langford mentioned that name as a warning. He soon remembered the last name of Danny and it sounded almost familiar. Brushing that aside and figured out who he is and warned everyone about it.

Robin: "I believe that must be Danny Wilkins."

The group heard that and was in complete shock by the news.

Beast Boy: "Get out! You're telling us that this is the guy Atlas and Langford warned us about? What the hell! He almost looks like the Hulk with that body. What happened to him?"

Robin wondered about that too and didn't want to get involved with him.

Robin: "Don't know… But it's best that we avoid him if all cost. We need to focus on getting the two remaining ingredients for Langford's project. C'mon, let's find them."

So the group decided to focus on their attention on the mission. To find the enzymes and distilled water. Heading down the steps, they entered the main courtyard and wondered where to go. Approaching the aftermath of the attack, they could tell that these splicers didn't stand a chance. Looking up they notice a directory map in the middle in front of the fountain, telling others on where to go. This map contains the number of shops showcasing different pieces of foods and drinks with the middle showing the Bistro and at the other end is the entrance to what appears to be a huge arena. All of which were wrapped in a circle. Robin looked to this and knew that this would be easy to maneuver, just so long as they don't run into any Splicers, or worse yet, Danny. Starring at the sign, he decided to let them separate to two different directions to cover more ground.

Robin: "Well, good news is that the place isn't too big. Just goes in a circle and that's it. Could make it easy for us to find those ingredients. Still, we need to hurry if we can revive Arcadia. If we are to get this over with, our only option is to-"

Raven: "Let me guess… We split up?"

Robin was interrupted by Rae and turning to answer her.

Robin: "Well… Yeah… That's what we should do. How did you…?"

The telepath slouched her shoulders and reminded him of the many times they did that.

Raven: "Because that's what we've been doing since we got here. And trust me, it always ends bad for all of us when we split up."

The leader sighed and knew that she has a point. Since coming into this city, there has always been the issue of splitting up and hope to not get ambushed. Still, it's the quickest and most efficient way in getting the job done. And with the air thinning, it's the only option they have.

Robin: "Either way, it's the only option we have when considering the situation we're all in. We need to get those ingredients to Langford so she can get started on her Lazarus Vector. Time is short. Starfire, you go with Beast Boy and Terra to the left side of the area. According to the map, the apiary is located on that side. Raven, Cyborg, and I will check the right side. Hopefully, we might find some distilled water around there. There's a Pnuemo mail box right there between those benches. We'll meet up back here with the supplies so we can deliver them to Langford. Let's go."

Star, BB, and Terra nodded as they turned and went to the left to get to the Apiary. Robin and Cyborg soon turned to the right and find a place where they can get some water. Raven though stood there and groaned, hating where this is going to go.

Raven: "Why won't anyone listen to me?"

She soon turned to follow the leader and the hybrid, hoping that they don't get killed in the process. What they didn't know, is that someone was watching it all up high on the wooden beams, perfectly dark for the right type of hiding. Looking at them splitting up, he decided to speak to the one person who can handle this.

"What's this? A new team coming in to take our turf? How arrogant. Going to have to speak to Danny of what I found. He's going to be so pleased…."

He soon disappeared in a plume of red mist, heading to Danny's domain to explain to him the good news.

As that happened, Starfire, Beast Boy and Terra started to head down the one section of the Farmer's Market to find the apiary where the enzymes must be located. As they walked in to the next area, they soon were caught by a serious stench and stank up the place. Covering their noses, they looked around and see this section is for fruit and vegetables, along with some kitchen appliances. However, with the civil war that happened, the whole place was reeking with old and moldy food with a stench to match. Looking around, they knew that it was bad.

Beast Boy: "PU… What is this stench? Almost smells like someone died in here, or more then one somebody."

Starfire: "Indeed. I never encounter a stench this putrid since the time my sister dared me to venture into the Cave of the Foul."

Looking to all the degrading food, Terra got the answer right up from under her nose, literally.

Terra: "My guess, its all this food around us. With the city in the state its in, they never tend to all this. Now all of this is old and inedible, causing the area to stink up badly."

Beast Boy fanned the stench away with his free hand and started to get curious.

Beast Boy: "Seriously?! This city went to war and they leave everything as it is? Sheesh, how do these people survive without anything that is too moldy?"

Starfire: "If I were to guess, I say they have other means of eating, that or eat what they got here, no matter how bad it all is."

She soon looked around to find any sign of any enzymes. Peering her eyes, she spotted a security door that has a sign over it. That sign has a picture of a Bee in the left side and lettering on a wing next to it that says, 'Silverwing Apiary'. Looking at the sign, she knew that they were in the right place.

Starfire: "There! That must be the Apiary that we are looking for."

The two heard her and turned to see the very entrance that she was looking at and was fortunate enough to find it this quick.

Terra: "Huh… That was easy."

Getting into her pocket, she took out her communicator and flipped the lid to contact Robin of what they found.

Terra: "Robin, we found the apiary and are proceeding to collect the enzymes."

Robin was on the other end and was pleased with the news.

Robin: "That quickly? Huh… That was something. We think we got something on where we can find the distilled water and investigating. Let us know when you got the samples."

Terra heard that and ended the talk.

Terra: "Roger that. Stand by."

She soon hung up and decided to get right to business.

Terra: "All right. Let's gather those enzymes."

The three soon approached the door and it opened, letting them in. What they didn't know is that someone was hiding from them and watched them get inside of the facility. Now all they have to do is wait for the team to come out, if the bees don't kill them.

Inside the underwater tunnel, they were heading to a huge building with the Silverwing Apiary sign looming over them and rows of dead trees encased in thin glass domes. Approaching the area, they notice dead bodies on the floor, as they were trying to escape something. But strangely enough, there was no blood or evidence of a fight. It was almost like they are fleeing from something.

Starfire: "Oh, these poor people. Splicer or not, none of them deserve to die."

Terra looked to the bodies and felt like something didn't feel right.

Terra: "Tell me about it. These bastards didn't look like they stood a chance. Hmm… Wonder what happened this these people? No sign of an attack. There's no blood. Pretty much no mutiny or quarrel. What do you think caused this?"

Beast Boy looks to one of the bodies and bent down for a closer look. Removing the mask, his eyes were wide in surprise and figured out what happened.

Beast Boy: "I see… welts."

Both girls heard him and turned to him and were confused by what he said.

Terra: "Wait, what?"

The Changeling turned to them and showed them what he's referring to.

Beast Boy: "Here. Have a look."

The two looked at each other and was curious at what he wants them to see. So they approached him and bent to his level and took a look at what they are seeing. What they saw is multiple bumps on the deformed face, most of which were swelled up and made the face look completely un-identifiable. He soon explained what they are.

Beast Boy: "See? These are the welts that are caused by poisonous stings. One or two stings would've just numb someone. But this? It looks like multiple stings caused this bastard to die from it. Judging by the exposed skin, and why the rest of it hasn't been untouched, I would say that bees caused this."

They heard it and knew where they are.

Starfire: "Bees? You mean the creatures that we're heading to for the enzymes?"

Beast Boy nodded and figured what cause this death.

Beast Boy: "If I were to guess, these splicers were desperate in finding food and was grabbing some honey. By the looks of it, they succeeded and failed to get it. Can see that they escaped, but didn't survive the bee onslaught. Kind of sad when you think about it."

Terra look back at the building and was now a little hesitant.

Terra: "So hold on a sec. You're saying that they were killed be bees? The same bees that could be in that building and would kill us if we touch any of the enzymes. Should we be concerned about this?"

The changeling heard this and turned to her, assuring her that it will be all right.

Beast Boy: "Hey! Don't worry. You're looking at the animal expert here. Been taught well from my parents. I can handle this."

Terra looked on and wasn't unsure.

Terra: "Yeah… Right… That makes me feel really comfortable."

Beast Boy soon got up and decided to proceed to the area.

Beast Boy: "C'mon. Let's get those enzymes now while we have the chance."

He soon headed to the building, wanting to get this over with. The two girls got up and were unsure of Beast Boy's plan.

Starfire: "Should we be concerned about Beast Boy's plan?"

Terra scratched her head and decided to get on with it.

Terra: "Let's just get going. We need to save Arcadia, remember? So we better get those enzymes now while we have the chance. Even if it means getting sting by bees."

The two soon followed him and they reached the front door of the building. As the door started to open, they can hear the sound of two splicers arguing to each other.

"Hurry up and open that shit! I'm hungry and I'm fixing for some honey!"

"I don't know… You're sure it's a good idea? You have seen what those bees did to those bastards out there. The last thing I want is to get stung badly by those things."

"What are you worried about? Those sod snouts got the honey from in the bee farm. That place is filled with those bastards. Here, we can get honey without getting stung."

"And did you check to see if these bee houses are empty? I think it's best if we check to make sure there are no bees in there. Should we listen if bees are in there?"

"Hey! Do you hear our stomachs growling? Yes? Well then shut up and open that shit up!"

The three heard that as the door started to open, knowing that there are splicers on the other side. BB soon gestured them to stop and be ready for an assault.

Beast Boy: "Sounds like we got company in there. Get ready."

The three got into position and was ready for a fight. But when the door was fully opened, one of the splicers have already whacked a Bee container on the floor and bees immediately came out of it and attacked the two.

"AH! BEES! THERE ARE BEES EVERYWHERE! GET THEM OFF! GET THEM OFF ME!"

"I TOLD YOU THAT THEY WOULD BE IN HERE! BUT DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO ME?! HELL NO!"

They were running around like headless chickens, trying to swing their melee weapons right at the bees. As that was going on, the three Titans look to them and find what happened hilarious.

Terra: "Okay. I must admit, that is funny."

Pretty soon, the two splicers were killed by the bee stings on their body and immediately fall to the floor. But the bees were still flying around and saw the group standing at the doorway. The three saw that and realized that they were around to get stung. Star quickly got in front of them and held both her hands together. They soon started to glow and created a burst of energy, sizzling half the bees while the other half scattered and disappeared. Once they were all gone, Star sighed and decided to not get involved in that mess.

Starfire: "As much as I appreciate nature, I do not like to get stung."

Beast Boy soon walks past the Tamaranean and looked around the room. Already, he could tell that this place is a store for purchasing honey. There were shelves that should be stocked with jars of honey, bee houses displaying examples of how it's being distributed, a Gatherers Garden to purchase Plasmids and Tonics, and a cashier at the end with a back door leading to the employees room. The place does look like it was raided with jars toppled with some broken on the floor filled with sticky substances, a few bee houses knocked down, and the register on the floor with the slot empty. Looking around, he could tell that he doesn't see any enzyme samples.

Beast Boy: "Man… This place is a dump. But I don't think I see any enzymes around. They got to be in the back. Let's check it out."

The group soon headed to the back and pass the register. When they did, the door opened partly and let them into the back room. Turns out, this backroom is more of a bee sanctuary where they see protective bee uniforms on one end and bee equipments on the other. There were also a set of steps heading down to somewhere and decided to check it out. Heading down, they started to hear something ahead and figured that it was a familiar buzz.

Beast Boy: "You hear that? Sounds like there are still bees down there. Looks like they are just surviving as everyone else."

Terra: "Well let's just get the enzymes and get out of here. Last thing I want is to get stung by one of those pests."

They managed to reach the bottom of the steps and wondered where they are. Looking on, they noticed some sort of observation room with a row of windows that showed some for of area. Getting closer, they noticed that it was both a bee farm and labs. They could see lab tables and bee houses scattered around, along with beakers and machines to distribute the honey. Yet they still hear buzzing, a lot of buzzing. They slowly looked up to see where the noise is coming from. That's when they saw a huge hive like city on the ceiling with millions and millions of bees buzzing around. They all starred at it and immediately realize that it was going to be a trying task.

Terra: "Okay… This is going to get complicated. Now what?"

Beast Boy looked back at the lab and figured that's where the enzymes will be stored.

Beast Boy: "My best guess, those enzymes we need have to be in one of those workstations at the lab. We need to know where they are."

He soon looked up to a ventilation shaft that's above them and knew a way to get in.

Beast Boy: "I'll go scout ahead to see where they are. You girls stay here and keep watch incase any splicer shows up."

With that said, he turned into a bee and buzz up to the vent, disappearing into it. The two watched him go up and the Earth bender was worried about that.

Terra: "He's serious, right? I mean, he is my friend and all, but is he crazy?"

She turned to Star, wanting to get her answer. Star just turned to her and explained about his powers.

Starfire: "Beast Boy can change into any animal, even if it is undercover. I am certain he can blend in with all the other bees to find the enzymes."

Terra look back to the window and was a little hesitant about it.

Terra: "Uh-huh. A green bee blending in with all the yellow and black bees. I just hope that they're all color blind."

The two soon look back at the observation window to see if the find their friend. Seeing the bees buzzing around, he didn't see anything just yet. Suddenly, they could see the green bee came out of the vent grating on the ceiling on the other end and were relieved that he made it through.

Starfire: "He is in! Now let us see if he can find those enzymes."

In the lab, BB fluttered around the lab to find the samples. Going through the mess of bees to get into a clearing. He soon fluttered through one workstation after another as he searched for the very enzymes they need. Going through each of them, he noticed tiny beakers of yellow like substances placed in their holders, as a means of keeping them intact. Looking to this, he knew that he found what he was looking for. He soon fluttered back to the grating, passing through the swarm of bees, and went back into the vent. By the time he returned to the girls, he changed back and told them the news.

Beast Boy: "Well, good news is that I found the enzymes. The bad news is, that it's located deep in their bee farm. A long walk to get there."

Terra heard that and didn't like the odds at all.

Terra: "Great… Just great. Not only that the enzymes are in there, but also a large number of, potentially, killer bees that would sting us. Anybody got some repellent, or a bee keeper suit? Cause I'm sure as Hell not going to go in there without protection."

Star heard her plea and knew that she's not fond of getting stung. That's when she noticed some kind of terminal with a red button on it. She soon notices an audio log that's on the base of the contraption and wondered what it contains. Picking it up, she hit play and heard the same voice as before back at the market's entrance, explaining some mishap in her bee farm.

'I can't believe it. Just a few hours ago, one of my employees was attacked by a swarm of bees in the lab. Old Joe said he forgot his keys to his suite in the Artimus apartment complex and walked into the lab without proper protection. He damn well knows that he would need his beekeeper uniform to protect him from those bees. Better yet, there's a smoke control mechanism that will repel the bees back into their respective hives. Sure there is a one minute time limit before the bees return, but it will be enough time for him to get in, get his keys, and get out. Instead, he decided to go in there, without protection, and get stung. Thankfully, it was a couple of welts and the rest of the staff got him out of there before it worsens, but it goes to show that you can't be to cocky and risk your life for trivial things. I am going to update the rules and regulations of not going in without the uniform or use of the Smoke Control. Can't have another accident like what happened recently. God help me if a death of one of my employees would close my business down. Unbelievable!'

When the log stopped, Star listened to it and caught something within the log. Something that could solve the bee problem.

Starfire: "Smoke control?"

Looking to the controls that she found the audio diary, she could see a sign over the controls that says, 'Smoke Control' and came up with an idea.

Starfire: "I got it!"

The two turned to the Tamaranean and wondered what she's going on about.

Beast Boy: "What is it Star?"

She soon turned to them and told them of what she found.

Starfire: "There is a control terminal that can repel the bees in that lab. If we pull it down, it will administer some kind of smoke that will push them into their hives for a short amount of time. We use that, and we will be able to go in a retrieve the enzymes."

BB heard that and approached the controls, looking right at the system and realized what she meant.

Beast Boy: "Of course! This releases pesticides smoke that will repel them back and is harmless to humans. Why didn't I think of that? Good thinking Star!"

Star just chuckled and told him that it wasn't a big deal.

Starfire: "Oh, it is nothing. I just found the solution we need to get to those enzymes is all.

Terra looked to this moment, with a bit of jealously, and place her hands on her hips, clearing her throat to get their attention.

Terra: "Um… Hate to break up this moment, but we are press for time and the air is getting thinner the more we waste it."

The changeling heard that and realized that she has a point. With the Arcadia forest dead and the air slowly disappearing, they have to get those enzymes for them to be delivered to Langford for her project.

Beast Boy: "You got a point, Terra. We are already pressed for time and we have to get these samples to Langford before we run out of oxygen. We better get going."

He soon turned to the Tamaranean and told her what to do.

Beast Boy: "Starfire, you're with me. We have to get into the lab and retrieve the enzymes for Langford's project."

Star simply nodded and responded.

Starfire: "Understood."

Terra then looked on and was confused about that part.

Terra: "Whoa, whoa! Wait a sec. What about me?"

Beast Boy turned to her and told her what she will be doing.

Beast Boy: "You're in charge of the smoke controls. When we're ready, push the button to clear out the lab. While we're in there, keep a close watch on the timer above. If it reaches zero, we would be bombarded by a billion stings."

Terra listened to what he said and turned to see the timer above the controls that has '0:00' on it. Seeing what she needs to do, she turned and got the message.

Terra: "So… Stay here and look at the clock to let you know how much time you have. Okay. Sounds simple enough. At least I don't have to worry about going in there myself."

BB smiled and knew she can handle it.

Beast Boy: "Good. Oh, also, keep an eye out for any splicers. With the Market infested with them, it would be a matter of time before they could pop up anywhere."

By the time she heard that, the Earth bender slouched her shoulders and knew what that meant.

Terra: "Great… That's just what I want. Out of the frying pan, into the fire. That makes me feel so much better."

He chuckled and told her that it would be all right.

Beast Boy: "Hey, it's going to be okay. It's only for a minute. We'll be in and out before you know it. Just keep a close watch on the timer and let us know through the comms."

Terra tilts her head and reminds him how long that would take.

Terra: "You know, a minute is like a long time, no matter how quick things get. The chances of an attack could be serious."

Beast Boy patted her shoulder and get where she's going with this.

Beast Boy: "Just keep a close watch on the timer, okay. We're wasting enough time as it is."

With that, he turned around to meet up with Starfire as the door leading to the labs. Terra sighed and knew there's no way out of this at all.

Terra: "Why do I get the feeling that this won't end well for us?"

She soon approached the controls and saw the red button. Turning to them, she asked if they are ready.

Terra: "Okay, you guys ready?"

The two turned to her and answered back.

Starfire: "We are prepared."

Beast Boy: "We're good. Hit the button Terra."

She soon looks at the button and read ready to push it.

Terra: "Good luck you two. And please be back as soon as you can."

She soon raises her arm up and hit the button with force. Soon enough, smoke came out of the vents and engulfed the labs and bee farm. All the insects immediately retreated into their hives when the smoke reached them. Once they hid in their homes, the place was cleaned out and vacant of any bees what so ever. Terra looked up to the timer and noticed the sheets flipping until it hits '1:00'.

Terra: "Timer is set. You two have a minute to get in, grab the enzymes, and get out. Be careful."

With that, the doors opened and the countdown commenced. When it's opened, it was Beast Boy who took the charge.

Beast Boy: "Let's go Starfire! Time's shot!"

Soon enough, the two started to make a break for it as they rushed into the lab and started to look for the enzymes. Going through each section, Star asked if they were going the right way.

Starfire: "Beast Boy, are you sure you know where we are going? It feels like these stations are the same when we pass by.

BB told her that he knows where to go.

Beast Boy: "Trust me, scouted ahead as a bee to find those enzymes and know where to go. We should hurry though. We already have fifty seconds left on the clock."

They soon headed down to where the changeling found the samples as the clock kept ticking. Going through the workstations, they found the spot BB found the enzymes. By the time they got there, he was relieved that it was still there.

Beast Boy: "There it is. Those are the enzyme samples. Now let's get them together and return to Terra. Watch my back, Star."

Star nodded and turned to find any threats coming. Taking the storage container out, he opened it and gently place one enzyme after another in the holder, careful not to fall. But he has to hurry, as they are already thirty seconds in. As he was doing it, Star looked on and wondered if there were any splicers coming. Just as she thought of that…

"The bees are already gone. We can get out of here!"

"Finally! Now we can get out of this death trap. I'm tired of eating all this honey for so long."

Star heard that and realized that they were in some serious trouble. She soon turned to Beast Boy and warned him about what's coming.

Starfire: "Beast Boy, please make with the haste. We are going to get some unwanted company."

The changeling heard that and decided to quicken his moves. With the splicers and the time limit, they don't have time in preparation. So he quickly places all seven enzyme vials into the container's holders and closed it tight. Once he was done, he turned to told her that he got it.

Beast Boy: "All right, I think I got the number of enzymes Langford needs. Let's get out of here before we get stung."

Just as he said that…

"Wait! Do you hear that? It's coming from this way."

Hearing that, they both know that they are in for quite a surprise.

Beast Boy: "That, or we get mauled by mutated citizens."

They soon heard Terra's voice on the comm., warning them of the time limit they have left.

Terra: "Guys, hurry up! You got thirty seconds left on the clock!"

The two heard that and realized they are in trouble.

Starfire: "I suppose in Earth terms that this is the proverbial 'Rock and a Hard Place'. Correct?"

BB nodded and decided that they should leave now.

Beast Boy: "Yeah… You could say that. All right, looks like we need to get out of here now before things could get too dicey for us."

He soon handed the container to Starfire and told her to hold it.

Beast Boy: "Hang on to that. I'll clear the way."

Star soon grabbed the container and hope he handles this quickly.

Starfire: "I hope you know what you are doing, Beast Boy. We do not have time in fighting right now."

BB smirked and knew she would say that.

Beast Boy: "Who says I was going to fight?"

When he waited, he could see the splicers coming to his sights and stopped to see those two standing there.

"Look! Lookie here! A bunch of kids nosing around in something that doesn't belong to them."

"I see them! Parasites, those two… Let's teach them on what happens when they trespass in the farms."

Seeing this, he could tell that these splicers were once Bee keepers. They were wearing their protective uniforms, but they're stained in blood and honey with the nets opened to reveal their inhuman faces. Seeing this, he knew what he's up against and didn't care.

Beast Boy: "Time to go!"

With that, he started to run towards the splicers and turned into a hippo, catching them by surprise.

"The Hell?!"

Before they could react, They were all plowed down, giving Starfire the clearing she needed. Flying up, she soar past the downed splicers and follow Beast Boy, knowing that they don't have enough time in getting out of the labs. The splicers groaned and got up, seeing the two getting away.

"After them! Don't let them escape!"

The group soon race after them, trying to stop them. One of them soon decided to slow them down.

"This will stop them!"

Rolling up his damaged sleeve, he tightened his fist and something strange happened. On his arm, holes opened up and formed honeycombs. Then bees came out of it and scurry around. With a quick flick, the bees were fired and flew right towards the two Titans. Starfire heard it from behind and turned around to see the bees heading straight towards them. With a bit of a glow, her hands charged and she fired her star bolts, zapping the insects quickly. It was then that she saw the beekeepers firing more bees at them and warned Beast Boy about it.

Starfire: "I think we have a problem here!"

Beast Boy heard that and peered to see the splicers firing bees right at them. Figuring the situation, he turned into a cheetah, telling Star quickens her flight.

Beast Boy: "Let's bolt it! We only have ten seconds left!"

So the two sped faster as the bees flew after them. Already, they can see their exit as Terra gestured them to hurry through the observation window.

Terra: "C'mon! C'mon! Get out of there! You got only five seconds left!"

Hearing that, they went faster while Starfire looked to the bees and realized that they were getting closer. Figuring she just about had it, her hands and eyes glowed green and she fired three beams of light at them. That beam sizzled the insects and caused them to fall dead. At the same time, the splicers saw those beams and were caught be surprise.

"Holy Shit!"

That beam soon pushed the group and brought them down to the floor. Once they are down, the two rushed in ahead and reach the exit as the timer was ticking down.

'0:05'
'0:04'
'0:03'
'0:02'
'0:01'

Immediately, the two managed to make their escape through the door at the last second until the door closed on them. Both Titans took a breather and was glad that they escaped the Hellhole. Terra soon approached the two and asked if they are all right.

Terra: "Hey! You guys okay? Are you hurt?"

BB rubbed his arm while Starfire rubbed the back of her head, answering the Earth Bender's question.

Beast Boy: "Yeah… We're fine… A little banged up, but we'll managed. Star, how's the enzymes?"

Star heard him and checked the container to see if the samples are intact. Opening it up, she noticed all the enzymes are in one piece and all the vials haven't cracked.

Starfire: "Thank X'hal. All the enzymes have been safe."

BB sighed and was glad that the vials are intact.

Beast Boy: "Thank goodness… We're lucky that none of them break, otherwise I don't want to go through all that crap again."

Just as they thought that they are in the clear, they heard the banging on the glass window and the sound of an inhuman voice.

"Hey! Hey you! You fucking brats! Let us out!"

They all turned their heads to see the one of the splicers standing at the window of the observation room and were pissed about it.

"You cheeky bastards! You think you can get away from us? We'll get out of this damn place. And when we do, you all be sorry!"

He soon used his pipe in his hand and whacked it at the window, cracking it a bit. Beast Boy soon smirked and reminded the splicer what he's in for.

Beast Boy: "Oh yeah? Well you should be less concerned about us and more to what's going to come above you."

He soon pointed up to let them know what's heading out. He looked on with curiosity and cranked his head up to see what the changeling was referring to. That's when he saw the hive up on the ceiling and noticed bees slowly getting out of their honeycombs. Starring at it, he knew what he and his group was in for.

"Oh… Damn it…"

Almost immediately an army of bees came out of the combs and flew towards him and the other splicers. They were soon swarmed with no way out as they tried to escape with all they have.

"AH! BEES! BEES! GET EM' OFF! GET EM' OFF!"

They were all running and screaming away, trying to get all the bees off of them and disappearing from the swarm. The three Titans watched on as Terra was enjoying the show.

Terra: "Man… That was entertaining! And I thought Jack Nickerson had a problem with bees."

Beast Boy heard that and shrugged it off, letting the others know that they should leave.

Beast Boy: "Joking aside, we still have a timestamp in place. Let's returned to the meeting point for the rest of the team. Let's get back."

So the group turned around and walked back to the main area of the Farmer's Market. As they were walking, Terra asked what she just saw.

Terra: "So… Did those splicers shoot bees out of their hands?"

BB heard that and responded as honest as possible.

Beast Boy: "Yeah… That's pretty much what we saw. Might be a new plasmid we haven't encountered before. Could be the reason why there were so many bees in the bee farm. Better keep a close watch at that plasmid, if anyone around the city would try to use it on us. For now, let's join up with the rest of the team."

He soon grabbed the Container Starfire has and placed it on his back for safekeeping. They soon returned to the store and were on their way to the exit. But as the door opened and they stepped out, they were immediately ambushed by what look like a bunch of football players. They all have their machine guns and carbines while other have fire in their hands. That's when one of them calls them out in a sporting phrase.

"Play ball!"

The three saw this and realized that they could be in trouble.

Beast Boy: "Crud…"

Meanwhile, back with Robin, Raven, and Cyborg, the three went their separate direction and with the other three and looked for the third and final ingredient for Langford's Lazarus Vector. Getting into the other side, they approached what looks like the meat packing district, with two floor of a variety of meats. One floor focuses on fish with glass containers that would be filled with a variety of fish and lobster while the second floor shows the meats and poultry. But unfortunately, the place is disheveled and it reeks with rotting meat. So much so, that they had to cover their nose from the stench.

Cyborg: "Sheesh! That smell! Reeks all levels of terrible! How the hell can these freaks live like this?"

Robin waved his cape around to fume the smell out of his face, answering the best he could.

Robin: "Well, when the war goes this far, no doubt the food will rot away to the smell of death. We see plenty of this with all the dead bodies all over the city. The same could be said about what we've encountered back in the UAC far from the future. We get use to death that's all around us. I'm sure the League seen it as well. This is something we need to get through with ourselves."

Raven heard him and thought that was such a complement to what they are surviving through.

Raven: "Wow… That's pretty deep…"

The Titan leader turned to her and told her his experience.

Robin: "When you have a tragic past and live under the wings of a certain bat, you get use to the world around you. Now lets go and find that distilled water. Air around here would be too thin for us to breathe."

And so they headed to the spot and spread out to find the water they need.

Robin: "All right, we should split up. Cyborg, check the fish area. No doubt that there could be some enough distilled water around there. Raven, check the smaller shops over there. I'll check on the meat packing district upstairs. We must find the water before time runs out."

And so, the three split up and find the type of water that they needed.

Cyborg started to check the fish packing floor and didn't see any distilled water. Just gutted stinking fish swimming in red salt water. Robin soon contacted the hybrid and asks if he found something.

Robin: "Well, Cyborg? Anything to report?"

Cy activated his comm. screen on his arm and told him that he didn't see anything.

Cyborg: "Sorry, Rob. No sign of any distilled water. There's plenty of salt water though, but it's too tainted with fish blood and difficult to distill."

Meanwhile, Raven was checking out the small shops in a dead end and finds some water there. What he only found is rotting food and corpses. Looking to the cheese booth, she starred at the moldy cheddar and was disgusted by it. At the same time, she heard her communicator beeping as she took it out and flip the lid to see Robin's face on it.

Robin: "Raven, Cyborg didn't find any water for Langford's project. Any luck on your end?"

Raven rolled her eyes on all the bad food around her and responded in kindly.

Raven: "No… I had no luck at all. All I can see is bad food as far as the eye can see. How about you? Did you find any water at all?"

Back to Robin, he was checking the meat packing area to find some water, but couldn't find it either. All he can see is butchered and decaying meat and poultry and no water at all. Not even a hose.

Robin: "Nothing to report here. There's not a single ounce of water in this area. With all this meat, it wouldn't hurt to clean them. This is going to take longer then expected. Let's all head back to see where we can find the water. Meet us at the spot we split up, in front of the Worley Winery."

He soon closed off the comm. and was about to leave. But before he could head down the steps, he turned his head and notices something that caught his attention. There looked to be a huge wall that is opened leading to another room. In his head, he thought that maybe he checks out the area to see if there is distilled water in there. So he walked down and went into the busted hole to see where he was. It was then that he discovered that he's in some sort of Bistro restaurant. The place is like a small bar establishment with multiple tables and a bar in the middle. But most of the tables were turned over and plates were smashed as the bar looked broken and disheveled. He soon walks down the bistro and noticed that there was a battle that took place as well. Fresh bodies and splicers were scattered as it look like a fight took place. By the looks of it, it would seem like that feud with that football player on steroids. Robin looks at the scene and felt sorry for these splicers.

Robin: "What a mess. Who every this Danny is, certain shows no mercy. How could he do something like this?"

He soon turned to see a balcony that has the railings smashed. Walking up to the balcony, he look down and noticed something at the main floor. Looking on, he noticed an entrance of some kind with two muscled men statues with torches held up high. On the walls looked to be Greek people performing Olympic like sports. But over the security door was a sign that says, 'Hercules Stadium' and the writing on the floor writing in blood that says, 'Raider's Territory!' Looking at that entrance, he knows where Wilkins is at.

Robin: "Hmm… Looks like Danny's located in that arena. Make sense, as a football player plays sport in a stadium. As long as he doesn't get involved, we would be fine. Better get back to the two before they start to worry."

He started to walk on back to see if they can find the distilled water some other place. But then, he stopped and notice what appears to be another Vox recorder sitting on the bar counter with a toppled down wine bottle next to it. He looked at it with curiosity and wondered if it contained any information he needed. So he approached the recorder and hit play, hearing a disgruntled French customer about the issues with the wine."

'In ten years in this dump, I've come to accept a very low standard of life. But even at the bottom of this fish tank, a man must have standards. The pathetic trou du cul down at Worley Winery has started putting water to his terrible wine... Water! When I confronted him with this fact, he tells me, "Pierre, this is not to worry, the water, she is distilled. It could be worse... I could take it right from the ocean..." Utter Nonsense! I have tasted the finest wine in Paris for years and never in my expertise have never tasted something so appalling as distilled wine water. This is a mockery to wine tasters around the world! That imbecile needs to remove that water into the wine, or I will file a complaint to the committee. I won't stand so such atrocities!'

The recorder played to the end and Robin listened it all the way to the end. Hearing that, he recalled what the player said. Something about distilled water in the wine. He also heard of the location of the distilled water, Worley Winery. And if he remembered correctly, he knew where the winery was. At the same spot where they split up. As he thought of that, his communicator started to beep and caused him to break his concentration. Taking his communicator out, he flipped the lid and saw Cy's face on it.

Cyborg: "Yo, Rob! What's the deal? You said you were going to meet up with us when we regroup. Well, Rae and I are here, but you didn't show. What gives?"

Robin heard and that knew that they needed an explanation. Thankfully, he has an explanation and told them what he discovered.

Robin: "Sorry about that. But I think I found out where we can get some distilled water. I'll explain when I get there. Wait for me."

He soon hung up and headed back to the two, wanting to give them the news.

Once he was with them, he told them on where the water is located. Apparently, they were skeptical.

Cyborg: "So you heard that the distilled water is located in some type of winery."

Robin nodded and explained on where to go.

Robin: "That's right. It's called the Worley Winery and from what I heard, the owner of the establishment used distilled water to make his wine a bit more tasteful."

Cy listened and shrugged his shoulders.

Cyborg: "Hmm… Make sense. Most wines are made of water and they need it to mix it with grapes and other types of alcohol. Seems obvious this guy to put distilled in his products."

Raven thought of that and was hesitant about that assumption.

Raven: "You're sure that if what this person on the recorder said is true? I mean, for all we know, he could just be joking around."

Robin listened to her thought and knew she has a point.

Robin: "Maybe, but we cannot turn down this opportunity. If the distilled water is in the winery, we must investigate it and hope it's around there. If it's there, then we'll gather them up and deliver them to Langford. We need to check it out."

He soon turned to the entrance of the Winery in front of them with the neon sign with three wine bottles that says, 'Worley Winery'. The others look at it too and decided to investigate it further.

Robin: "C'mon, let's check it out. Hopefully, we don't run into too much trouble."

So the three started to walk down to the entrance to the winery, hoping the distilled water is in there. When they got there, they didn't notice that they were being watched. Up on the wood girders, a group of splicers were gathered together and watched them entering the winery.

"You see that? You see that? Those are the intruders Danny talked about. Who are they? And what's with those ridiculous outfits?"

The one next to him looked on and decided to get started.

"Who cares?! Danny doesn't want any interference in his games. We need to intercept them, no matter what. Get everything ready when they come back. They'll be in for quite a surprise."

Back with the three, they passed through the security door and walked down the tube hall where they would see a building with the winery neon sign above the entrance. But walking down the hall, they could see dead bodies of splicers scattered across the floor, all riddled with bullets and they all have masks over their faces. Starring at the bodies, Cy was curious as to why they were wearing those garbs on their faces.

Cyborg: "Weird… Why are these people wearing masks? I mean I get they are splicers and they wear it to hide their ugliness. But seems to be a bit strange to wear something like masquerade or cult stuff."

Raven look to these masked bodies and thought something that she didn't get until now.

Raven: "Maybe there's more to it then we all think."

Cy turned to the telepath and wondered what she was thinking about.

Cyborg: "Really? And what's that."

Rae looked to him and explained about the philosophy behind the poor splicers.

Raven: "Maybe there's a part of them that remember how they used to be, how they used to look. And now they're ashamed."

Hearing that, Cyborg knew what she was referring to.

Cyborg: "Make sense… They all use to be normal people with normal jobs going about their normal lives. Then war broke out, city when into chaos, and they decided to splice up to defend themselves. What a cruel twist of fate they went through."

Robin overheard it and told them that there was no avoiding.

Robin: "Spliced up or not, they still pose a threat. And no matter what happens, we have to face facts that they are still enemies. And just like what happened back in the UAC, we have to show them no mercy. Now let's go. Entrance is just ahead."

The group soon walked to the doors and entered the winery. When it was fully opened, they could see the huge neon sign of Worley Winery and a few more dead bodies scattered about. They look to all of this and find it to be a bit concerning.

Cyborg: "Man… Look at all these bodies… Wonder what happened?"

Raven look to the sign and came up with the obvious assumption.

Raven: "If I were to guess, it would be the splicers wanted some wine really badly."

Robin soon bends down to look at one of the bodies and check to see what happened. That's when he noticed the many bullet holes in the chest and figured the worse.

Robin: "I don't think it's a wine addiction… Though I fear that it is something we need to prepare for. Keep your guard up."

The three soon walked around one of the corners, and entered what looked like a wine tasting establishment with serving tables with a few turned over, overgrown grapevines, fan lights, and a built in bar for more wine tasting. However, they could see more dead bodies, there was still no reason behind their attacks. Still, they didn't see any distilled water yet.

Robin: "No sign of the water here."

He soon looks to the employees entrance area and decided to check it out.

Robin: "Maybe the water is downstairs. Let's check it out."

So the group headed to the entrance, hoping that the distilled water is down there. But just as they were about to pass the bar, Rob peered his eyes and immediately notices two things that were the reason why a lot of splicers were dead. Because there was a machine gun turret and a security camera, all active and moving around. Seeing that, he warned everyone to get back.

Robin: "Watch it!"

He soon grabbed the two and they all went behind a turned over table with bottles of wine scattered about. Hiding, he peeked up to see what they're up against. Looking down to see the wine bottle, he picked it up and tossed it right into the air. Almost immediately, the turret detected it and aimed to fire. After a few quick shots, it hit the wine bottle and caused it to shatter into pieces, spilling all over the floor. Seeing the situation, he explained to them what they're up against.

Robin: "Figures… Now I see why these splicers were killed. Apparently this place has a security system in place."

The two heard that and knew what it means.

Cyborg: "Terrific! As if finding the water is bad enough, we now have to deal with these security devices. Wish LM was with us. He would've used his hack tool to bypass the security so easily."

Robin nodded and knew they have to find another way out of this.

Robin: "True, this would've made this mission a lot more easier if LM was around. But now, we have no choice but to improvise. Ideas?"

Raven thought of something and came up with a plan.

Raven: "I think I know of a way to get pass that, though I think it might get weird."

Robin turned to her and decided to risk it.

Robin: "Do it!"

At the same time, the security camera was panning left and right, looking for any potential threats that are out there. As it was scanning, something black just whizzed on by. It caught that and wondered what it was. But just as it appeared, it disappeared. The camera was confused and shrugged it off, going back to its regular search. At the same time, the black streak made it to the entrance of the employees only room and hid behind the steps. Once it was well hidden, a black raven came out of the ground and the three Titans came out of it. Cy shuddered and never liked going in there.

Cyborg: "Brrr… That's so cold… How can you get use to that, Rae?"

The telepath turned to him and glared, not wanting to answer. Robin though decided to focus on their assignment.

Robin: "At least we're fortunate enough to get out of that. Now let's head down and find the water."

So the three walked down the stairs and went below the winery. When they reached the bottom of the steps, they approached a long hall filled with overgrown grapevines and wine bottles scattered. They soon walked down to the hall to figure out where the water is. But just as they were going to reach the end, they heard that sound of propellers spinning and realized that there's still security around and about.

Robin: "Quickly! Hide!"

Quickly the three started to hide behind crates of packed wine bottles as the leader peaked to see what they're up against. That's when he saw a security drone coming in and scanning the area for any intruders. This one has a machine gun turret attached to it and it looked armed to kill. As it scanned, he flew away and went on the search. The three soon got out of cover and could tell that they could be in a bit of a pickle on this one.

Raven: "Okay… Something tells me that there's more security here then in anyplace else."

Cy turned to her and thought why.

Cyborg: "Maybe a lot of people really like the wine that they would come here to steal it, even if it contains just water."

Robin heard that and thought of something else.

Robin: "Either that, or the owner of this establishment is protecting his product, in the most extreme way. No doubt that the distilled water should be well protected. Keep close and be on a lookout for any sentry, turret, and cameras. We have to be cautious this time."

With that in their heads, they decided to stay close and headed down the hall to start the search. They soon turn to the left and saw a path to the right that would take them downstairs. That's when they turned and headed down the steps. When they went down, they could hear the sounds of propellers, gears turning, and riggings. No doubt there's security everywhere, and there was a camera coming from the curved corner. Seeing this, they could tell that this would be difficult to manage. So they have to come up with ways in getting through the security without LM's help. Robin started to take out his freeze disk and looked to it for a few seconds.

Robin: "Well… Looks like we have to go through all the stops to get pass this."

Looking up, he could see the camera turning to them and was about to spot them. The moment it turned to their position, Rob tossed the disk to it and flew towards its target. Once it connected, it froze completely and stopped its movements. Once it's frozen, Robin turned to the others to told them what to do.

Robin: "If you see any security device, find a way to disable it. Shoot it down, teleport it someplace, anything to take care of them. We have to find this distilled water now and not waste too much time."

Cy heard that and knew that it would take a while.

Cyborg: "Won't be easy, but we'll do whatever it takes to get by."

Raven shrugged her shoulders and got it to.

Raven: "Whatever…"

So the three started to walk down the basement area to find the distilled water while either avoiding or taking out the security. Robin threw a few exposing disks to remove a few cameras and sentry bots. Cyborg shot down a few turrets with his sonic cannon while firing mini missiles to remove a few more sentry bots. And Raven managed to encase the sentries in dark energy and caused them to explode, opening portals to drop the turrets down to random locations, and using her magic abilities to pass the security cameras. Yet, looking around the place, they haven't found any distilled water at all. Finally, they approached a processing area where wine is made through tanks and pump systems. Looking on, they could tell that they could be at the right place.

Robin: "This must be it. The processing plant. No doubt that this is where they would hide all the distilled water. Spread out and find it."

So the group started to split up to search for anything related to water, or any bottles related to it. Raven floated up and looked into the tanks to see if the water is in one of them. But looking into each tank, she noticed that the tanks were empty, with the exception of the red wine residue on the metal walls. Cyborg soon checked on the mixers that mix the wine to see if he would find something. But there was no water around, and even if there was, it's mixed with the sour grapes. With Robin, he checked the workstations to see if there was any sign of some distilled water. Any bottles of vials that might contain it. Still, he didn't see anything and thought that it was already ransacked. Before he could even leave, he spotted another audio log and wondered if his answers are in it. Quickly, he pushed the button and listened to the voice of what appears to be the owner of the winery, explaining about the water.

'Got another dissatisfied customer today. I swear this was the fifth one in a week. Some classy French prick that a stick up his ass complaining that there's water in his wine. What do you think most of the wine's made out of? Mud? Piss? Please… How else am I going to make wine? Snobby wine critics… This is the reason why I have to leave Napa Valley, to not handle with those compulsive wine tasters. At least in the valley, I have plenty of water mix with the grapes and liquor. Rapture though? Rapture doesn't have enough of that to help me mix my wine. Had to sneak into the Tree Farm in Arcadia that has water silos scattered about to gain some. Have to store them in my secret room I made within the barrel storage. Have to have a bed to sleep next to it and make sure no one sneaks in to take that water. Been hearing that this civil war is causing people here to salvage anything for their survive. I fear that this war that's been going on is going to cause businesses like mine to go down under and these…splicers as they call them, would sneak in and take everything from me. Better start placing security all over the winery. I don't want to take the risk is all.'

Robin listened to all of this and figured why there was a lot of security and no distilled water. Because it's all located in one location. A makeshift room the wine owner used to call home. By the time he figured it out, he heard the others coming towards him.

Cyborg: "No sign of any water here. Just used machines and nothing more. This is a waste of time already and the air was getting thinner. Any luck on your end, Rob."

The leader turned to the two and smiled.

Robin: "Actually, I think I found what we're looking for. Follow me. I know where to go."

So the group left the processing area and headed to the secret room where the distilled water is really located. Course, by getting there, they had to get pass all the security bots and turrets that are protecting the lower levels. Robin froze a few security cameras that were watching the halls filled with racks of wine. Cyborg took out a couple of sentry bots that were scouting certain areas before they were spotted. And Raven encased the turrets in her black magic and caused them to explode. Once they cleared out all of the security, they encountered something really strange. Down in storage that's filled with huge barrels of wine, they saw what appears to be a makeshift shaft made out of plywood and billboards. Looking on, Robin knew that this was the place. But for the others, they were a little skeptic.

Raven: "So this is where all that distilled water is located. Looks a little shady if you ask me. Why all that water is in that place."

Robin turned to the telepath and explained why.

Robin: "Because according to that owner in the audio log, it is where he stash all the water. He feared that someone would come in and take it for their own survival. This is why he has all the security around this place, to protect them from splicers."

Cy sighed and knew where this will lead.

Cyborg: "So this was for his own protection. Figures much. Though are you sure all that distilled water is in there? I mean, we've been searching throughout the place and didn't see any of it. What makes you think it will be in that shanty house?"

Robin looked to the hybrid and told him that it was their only shot.

Robin: "Because if we don't find it here, then I fear our chance in curing the forest, overriding the lockdown, and saving LM will be all for nothing. Let's go check it out."

So the group headed to the shack to see if they can find the water. The group soon noticed a large hole that is an entrance to the shack as they cautiously got in. By the time they got there, they could tell that the owner made himself right at home. There's a make shift cot with a mattress and pillows, a heating area that act as a stove, and a large assortment of foods on the floor. But what they saw the most is what appears to be a dead body that got killed with a gun wound to the head. Robin approached the body and gives it a closer examination. Seeing what happened, and who it is, he figured what happened.

Robin: "Damn… Looks like we found the owner of the winery. Judging by the pistol and the wound in the head, he must've committed suicide a long time ago. Body is slowly rotting away."

The two looked to the scene as well and was horrified at the sight of it.

Cyborg: "Son of a bitch… Another suicide. Looks like the city is full of them. To be fair, I can't blame them all. Seeing this place go to Hell, you either survive, parish, or sacrifice your own life. I really feel sorry for these people."

Raven heard that and turned to him, reminding him of these people.

Raven: "You do realize that some of these people could be splicers as well, right? The same type of splicers who wants to kill us because we're from the surface?"

The hybrid shrugged it off and got the message.

Cyborg: "Yeah, yeah… I know that they could be splicers. I was just saying that they are still people even after the war and mutations."

Rae raised an eyebrow under her hood and was a little iffy about it still.

Raven: "I see… Regardless, I don't see any Distilled Water in this shack. You think maybe he drank it all or something?"

Robin thought of that and wondered where the owner really put all that water. Looking around, he noticed some kind of crate that was left near the kitchen. Curious, he decided to investigate and approach the box.

Robin: "No… I don't think he would drink it all. If were up to me, I hide it someplace where no one would ever find it."

By the time he headed to the box, he looked down and investigates the contents that were inside. He soon noticed a lock of some kind that would need a key to access it. So he turned to the other two and asked for some help.

Robin: "Search the owner's body. See if there's a key for this chest."

The two heard him and looked to the body, knowing that they won't like it. Cyborg soon approached the body and was getting a little eerie with it.

Cyborg: "Sheesh, scavenging bodies to get us out of these situations. How low can we go?"

Raven soon decided to handle it her way and told Cyborg to step aside.

Raven: "Let me handle this."

The hybrid turned to her and decided to let her do her work. With that, her eyes started to glow white as she lift her hand and it began to glow black. Almost immediately, the body glowed black and was lifted off the bed, moving around. What raven was doing is looking for the key to open that chest. After moving the body around, she was able to find the key that's located in back pants pocket. With a bit of a smile she proceeded to remove the key with her magic and freed it from the dead body, letting it drop back to the floor. With that out of the way, she levitated the key back to Robin as he grabbed it with his hand.

Robin: "Thanks."

He soon got the key into the pad lock and started to turn it. He soon heard it clicking and knew that he's in. Slowly opening the chest, he soon made the discovery that they were looking for. In the chest, there multiple bottles of distilled water, all packed up tightly. He looked to all the bottles and smiled, knowing that he found what he was looking for.

Robin: "Jackpot…"

Seeing all this water, he took out the container Langford gave him and started to take seven bottles of distilled water. The two Titans looked to him taking the water and was surprised that what they were looking for was in that chest the whole time.

Cyborg: "Huh… Who'd of thought that that water was in there? Why would he place that much water in one place in hiding?"

Robin knew the reason and answered that.

Robin: "With the security and the shack here, it would seem he's using everything in his power to protect his investment. And when you have an underwater city going to war and the residents mutating with all these Plasmids, it would lead to total anarchy. At least he was organized in his survival skills before his inevitable end."

He managed to get all seven bottles in the container and make sure they are intact. Once he got them in, he closed the container, knowing that he got it.

Robin: "All right, that's all the water. Let's head back and regroup with the rest of the team. I'm sure they managed to get the enzymes for the Lazarus Vector project."

Cyborg: "Got to admit that it was all too easy. Getting to the water without any sight of splicers and just security was sort of quick. Thought it would've been much tougher then this."

Robin got up and carried the container with his hand.

Robin: "Either way, we were able to get the distilled water and it's enough to get by. Let's just get out of here before things go downhill."

So the three started to walk out of the shack, but they didn't know was that the chest had an alarm triggered attached to it. Once he took seven bottles, it was triggered and activated the alarm. They all soon heard it and realized that what they said was all too soon. Raven noticed it and reminds them of their statements.

Raven: "You were saying?"

Almost immediately, multiple darts started to pop up between the entrance border and attached to the opposite ends. Those darts have wires on the ends and they started to admit electricity to prevent them from getting out. They turned to see that and knew that they're in serious trouble.

Cyborg: "Crap! We're trapped!"

Robin approached the wires and figured that it was the case.

Robin: "Looks that way. Trap bolts, used to electrocute anyone who tries to get through. We have to get out of here before things could get worse."

By the time he said that, metal compartments on the floor opposite them started to open up and something up from there. Raven notice it and warned the leader of it.

Raven: "Uh, Robin…? I think it's a little too late for that."

She soon pointed to what she's referring to. Robin looked to her before turning back to see what she's applying to. That's when he saw three sets of turrets all lined up in a row, all of which have flamethrowers attach to their chairs. Seeing them getting turned on, he knew that's it's worse then he thought.

Robin: "Oh… Damn…"

He soon jumped back as the three turrets fired flames right at him. He regrouped with the two teammates as the fire spread forward to them. Raven quickly folded her arms together and formed a dome to protect them. The flames were deflected but spread throughout the entire shake, catching everything on fire, including the body of the winery owner. Cy saw this and realized that this was going to be difficult.

Cyborg: "There's fire around us! We need to get out before the caves in on us!"

Robin looked at the situation as well and decided that they should leave.

Robin: "Way ahead of you, Cyborg. Raven! Get us out of here!"

The telepath heard him and looked back, knowing what he meant.

Raven: "On it!"

At the same time, the flamethrowers continued to engulf the shack in flames and is on the verge of breaking apart. Almost immediately, the shack collapsed and it's nothing but a pile of smoldering debris. The three turrets stopped and thought that they were able to get rid of the trespassers and stealers. But as it was over, three portals appeared above them and the three Titans came out to begin their attack.

Robin: "Take them out, now!"

The group soon went on the attack with Robin throwing some exploding disks, Cyborg firing his blaster, and Raven her aurora blasts. All of them connected and took them out, as the turrets exploded in pieces. Once they were taken out, the three landed on the ground and observed the damage they and the security turrets caused.

Cyborg: "Man… What a mess… If this is how people treat intruders, I fear how they treat their guests."

Robin soon turned to the two and told them that they should get moving.

Robin: "Let's not wait around to find out. We should be leaving now and get these water bottles to a pneumo box to transfer them to Langford. Let's hurry before we run into more trouble."

So the group left the burning shack and retraced their steps in getting to the stairs up to the winery. But as they were making their way out, they soon spotted sentry bots flying towards them, armed with machine guns and rockets attached to them. They block their path and started to fire right at them. The three saw this and Raven lifted her hand up to create a black wall to deflect the incoming assault. The Cy and Rob soon got behind the telepath and realized that they have problems to deal with now.

Cyborg: "Great! This is just we want. More security drones after us. Again, I wished we still have LM with us!"

Robin looked to this and knew why they showed up.

Robin: "It would seem that when the alarm got triggered, it alerted every drone in the area. Looks like we have our work cut out for us. Better make a B line back up before more of these keep coming."

He soon took out a bunch of exploding disks and decided to go head on.

Robin: "Raven, now!"

With that, the telepath lowered the shield enough for Robin to jump and toss the disks at them. All the disks hit them and exploded, causing them to fall to the floor and break in pieces. With that clear, the three proceeded to get to the steps to get out. Passing a hall, everything went to slow mo as two security turrets were on stand by, expecting any intruders. By the time they passed them, the two activate and begins to fire. Raven felt that and formed a black shield to cover the entire hall entrance, blocking off all the shots. But they didn't have the time in facing them, so they returned to the distribution center where the steps are closer. When they arrived they were bombarded by rockets as they spread out and got behind the canisters. Peeking ahead, Robin saw more rocket bots and they were flying around, getting a good angle to fire.

Robin: "Rocket sentries! Everyone be careful! Don't let them get their sights on you!"

One of them spotted Robin and fired a rocket straight at him. He could see that and immediately took his grappling hook out to fire at a nearby wooden beam. Retracting it up, he flew high as the rocket missed him completely. He reached the beam and flipped to land right on it. Looking at the view, he could tell how many sentries there are.

Robin: "Looks like there are twenty of them, all armed with rocket launchers. We need to take them all out if we are to get rid of these bots. Let's get rid of them now!"

Cy and Rae heard of that and knew that it was the only option they have.

Cyborg: "Got it, Rob! Raven, let's do this!"

He soon armed his cannon and got out of cover, firing multiple shots at them. The bots dodged them and fired rockets at him. He soon turned around and ran, avoiding the rocket shots. That was a distraction as Raven flew up high and waved her arms around to start firing aurora blasts at them. A few got hit and exploded and taken down, but the rest remain flying. They all soon turn their attention to her and fired their rockets at her. Rae quickly managed to escape and disappear into a portal she created, vanishing from the area and avoiding the onslaught. Robin soon started taking that diversion and used it to his advantage, by throwing birdarangs and taking out the propellers with their sharp blades. They all soon fall to the ground and cannot move around. The bots turned to him and decided to fire at him instead. Robin quickly ran on the beam, avoiding the explosion as the fire cooked the wooden part. The plank snapped and fell down with Robin on it. He quickly recovered and used his grappling hook to launch on to another beam and brought himself back up. He soon got back to the fight and this time took out ice disks to freeze them up. A few were taken out and were turned into ice, falling down to the floor and crashing in pieces and ice shards. The remaining group kept targeting him and was about to fire. But what they didn't know is that they were distracted to the point where multiple missiles were coming up from behind. Robin saw this and smirked, jumping down to escape from the attack. At the same time, all the rockets hit the sentries and were blown up by the projectiles, with the rest of them blowing up the roof. Robin flipped and landed on the ground with one knee, looking up to see Cyborg with his shoulders opened up and the portholes smoking. He looked to him and smirked, knowing that everything was under control.

Robin: "Nice going, Cyborg!"

The hybrid shrugged it off and told him that it was nothing.

Cyborg: "Oh, please… There weren't enough drones to go around. After all, you two managed to take the others out. I was lucky enough to handle the rest."

Raven soon appeared through the portal below and decided to leave right now.

Raven: "While I like to fight, I think we should leave before more of those drones show up."

Robin turned to him and nodded in agreement.

Robin: "Good idea Raven. Can't be staying here for too long. And we're not far from the exit. Let's get out of here."

The group soon left the distribution area and retraced their steps to the hall and where the steps should be. As they were reaching there, there was a security camera that has its lens on them. Cy quickly got his sonic cannon out and fired it right at the camera, destroying it in pieces. But it wasn't enough as more security drones flew by and spotted them, firing machine gun bullets at them. Raven got both hands up and formed a shield to let the bullets deflect. Seeing the situation, she knew that it was too much.

Raven: "This is ridiculous! There's too many of them. We need to find a way in shutting them all down to make a clear enough path back."

Cy soon heard that and didn't know if it would be possible.

Cyborg: "Easier said then done. With all this security, I don't know if there's a way in shutting them all down.

Robin heard this and remembered what happened at the Medical Pavilion.

Robin: "Not unless you have a security override switch to shut everything down. We need to find one of those switches to turn all the security off. If only there's a way in getting there and shutting it down."

Rae heard that while holding onto the barrier and thought of a way in finding it.

Raven: "I got an idea, but I'm going to need to concentrate. Let's fallback into hiding where I can accomplish this. Can't focus and protect you guys at the same time."

The leader heard this and knew that they need a place to hide. So he decided to retreat and find a place to hide.

Robin: "Titans, Fallback!"

The group soon retreated and looks for a place to be safe. The sentry bots soon notice them leaving and decided to follow them. Flying to them, they continued to fire their bullets at them. They quickly turned to the corner and avoided the shots, looking for a place to hide. Robin soon noticed a small crawlspace up ahead and told them to get in there.

Robin: "There! That crawlspace. That's our only change to hide. Hurry!"

The group soon runs to the small opening with Robin sliding into it and Raven flying through it. But Cyborg stopped and looked at the size of this crawlspace, realizing he can't fit into it.

Cyborg: "Whoa! Hold up! I can't slip into that. My body is too big to get in there!"

Robin heard it from the other side and knew that he has a point. So he told him to find someplace else to hide.

Robin: "Then look for someplace else to hide before they find you. Make it quick!"

Cyborg heard that and realized that he needs a new hiding spot, and fast. He could hear the sound of propellers getting closer and need to be discrete. Looking around, he spotted a huge barrel that's big enough to hide into. Knowing he has no choice, he decided to take the spot before it's too late.

Cyborg: "What the Hell. Better then being out in the open."

He soon gets to the barrel and jumped into it, getting into some kind of liquid that looked red. He soon places the lid on the barrel to hide himself. At the same time, the sentry bots were on the search to look for the three intruders, but found nothing. So they continued on with the search. Once they were gone, Robin opened the crawlspace door and noticed that they're all gone. But it would be a matter time before they return.

Robin: "They're gone, for now… But we need to hurry before they come back for another search."

Quickly closing the door, he turned to the telepath and told her to make it quick.

Robin: "Whatever you're planning, Raven, better do it now. Remember, we need to find the switch and turn it off. Hope you know what you're doing."

Raven soon got into her lotus position and told him that she got it.

Raven: "Don't worry; I know what I'm planning. And not only will I find and turn off the switch, I will also destroy every drone, turret, and camera in the way. I just hope I find it in time."

Closing her eyes, she started to levitate up and chant her three words.

Raven: "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos…"

Pretty soon, a black soul came out of her body and took the form of a raven and flew through the wall and backtracking throughout the lower levels. Pretty soon, it flew through the halls, going through the security machines and destroying them in contact. But looking around, it didn't see the switch, so it decided to head upstairs to see if its there as well. It went up the steps and searched the second floor, destroying any security device that was in the way. When that didn't work, it went to the one place that the switch could be, the wine tasting area in the main floor. So it flew down the long hall and reached the circular stairway to reach the main floor. By the time she got there, she noticed the camera and turret at the counter, but in the middle of it, there was the security override switch that operates the entire security system. Seeing this, she decided to take it out now while she has a chance. The black raven soon flew towards it and went into the switch, disappearing completely. In a few seconds, the switch started to spark with black electricity and short circuited, causing the switch to get pull down. At the same time, all the security cameras, sentry drones, and turrets started to shut down, slumping and dropping like flies. This lead to the halls of the winery eerily silent and where was no movement at all. In the crawlspace, the wooden panel started to open up and Robin peeked his head to see what happened. That's when he saw the drones on the ground and haven't moved an inch since. He soon smirked and knew what happened.

Robin: "Looks like Raven did it. Security is finally down."

As he said that, the black raven appeared and flew through the alcove Robin opened and went into the body of Raven. Rae took a deep breath and was recovering from her power. The Titan leader approached her and checked on her.

Robin: "Raven, you okay?"

The telepath heard him and rubbed her head, a little dazed from her actions.

Raven: "I'm fine… I think… Though that power gets a lot out of me. I need some time to rest."

The leader heard her and knew that it wasn't going to be the case.

Robin: "No time for that. Arcadia is dying and the air is thinning. We need to restore the forest before we have nothing to breathe."

He soon got her up and the two crawled down the crawlspace and out in the open. And with the security down, it will be easy for them get back. The two soon looked around and noticed that Cyborg wasn't around. So the leader started to talk him out of there.

Robin: "Cyborg? Are you in there? Security is down. You can come out now."

He waited for the hybrid to come on out. But he didn't get out of the barrel, nor did he respond. Concerned, he tapped on the barrel and called him out again.

Robin: "Cy? Can you hear me? Is everything okay in there? We have to go."

Still, he didn't get a single answer out of him. Looking on, he got worried that something terrible has happened to him. He was about to call him again until Raven shoved him aside and decided to take care of it.

Raven: "Let me handle this."

She soon walked down to the barrel and waved her arms at it. The barrel soon started to glow black and levitated up in the air. With a quick flick of the wrist, the barrel tilted and the lid popped. That led for Cyborg to come out with the red liquid pouring on top of him. Drenched in the liquid, Cy staggered up and trying to stay up. Robin noticed it and went to see if he's okay.

Robin: "Cyborg? Are you okay? Talk to me."

Cy managed to stand and looked to the leader, wanting to say something. But he was swaying and looked a little happy, muttering something in a slur.

Cyborg: "Oh… Lookie here…" (hiccup) "It's a little birdy… Hello little birdy…"

Rob raised an eyebrow and was a little confused about that. So he asked again.

Robin: "Uh… Cy…? Are you feeling all right? You seem a little…out of it."

Cy staggered a little and chuckled in a drunken stature.

Cyborg: "Oh… I'm fine… I'm just light as a feather…" (hiccup) "Now please tell me the story of when you have the magic stick….? I want to know…"

He soon leaned to the side before tripping and falling into the red liquid. He started to chuckle as he falls and tried to get up, only to stagger and fall again. Robin watched it all and was very confused by his behavior. Raven soon joined him and figured what happened, looking right at the red puddle around him.

Raven: "Apparently, that liquid that was in the barrel with him was red wine. And judging by the way he's acting, it would seem like that he must have been drinking this stuff just so he wouldn't drown. Looks like he didn't know that he was actually drinking wine."

Cy got on all fours before tripping and landing face first, laughing his metal ass off. Robin looked on and knew what he meant.

Robin: "Yeah… I could tell… This could really complicate things."

Raven: "So… You want to wait until he's sobered up? Can't have him lumbering around aimlessly while we have dangers all over."

Robin thought about it and wanted to wait until he's better. But they are in a timeline and they have to get his distilled water to Langford. And with Arcadia dying and Rapture slowly lacking air, it would complicate many things. So he turned to her and told her that they don't have any time.

Robin: "Can't. We are pressed for time and we need to return this water to the professor. She has to get her Lazarus Vector up and running before we run out of air. Plus we can't leave him here. Due to his condition, he would be vulnerable to a splicer attack. We have to take him back with us. Help me get him up. You grab one arm, I'll grab the other."

Rae turned to him and was shocked that they have to carry some dead weight. But they can't leave him be and get attacked. She soon lifts her hands up and groaned in annoyance.

Raven: "Fine… Whatever…"

She soon joined him as the two got between the hybrid. They soon grabbed him by the arms and lifted him up with ease. That's when he started to hiccup and mention something random.

Cyborg: "Hey! Look at me! I'm flying! Flying high like a kite…"

The two heard him and realized that they are in for quite a trip back.

Raven: "This is going to be a long way back."

Rob heard her and told her to shut it.

Robin: "Just keep him up and carry him to the courtyard of the Farmer's Market. Hopefully, we can use the fountain to wake him up."

The two soon started to carry my by the arms and retrace their way back to the Farmers Market. As they were heading up the first set of steps and down the wine storage hallway, Cy was still drunk and rambling on, almost singing a famous Marry Poppins song.

Cyborg: "Oh… Let's go fly a kite! Up to the highest height! Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring! I never felt so light as a feather before… Higher… Higher!"

The telepath was getting annoyed and wanted this to end.

Raven: "I swear, if we don't get him cleaned up the moment we return with the others, I won't hear the end of this."

Robin heard her concern and assured her that they'll fix this.

Robin: "Don't worry. Once we return, we'll wake him up. Though if LM found out about this, he would ask for a drinking partner when we return home."

Rae though rolled her eyes around and knows of another Titan who would see this.

Raven: "I'm concerned of what happens when Beast Boy sees him like this. He'll be joking about it for days."

Robin chuckled a little and knew what she meant.

Robin: "Which means the sooner we get him cleaned up the better. Thankfully, getting back there would be a breeze.

The two soon went up the curve steps to reach the wine tasting area/café. Upon reaching the place, they thought that they were in the clear. But then, they heard the sounds of weapons starting to load and saw splicers in sporting gear surround them and were ready to take them out.

"There they are, boys! Fresh meat! Rip them apart!"

The two saw this and immediately found out that it wasn't going to be easy. Rae soon turned to the leader and was upset about this.

Raven: "You know, we really need to stop saying that everything will be all right when in reality it won't be. That saying does get us into a lot of trouble."

Rob sighed and got the message.

Robin: "Yes… It does…"

But the tension soon stopped when Cy looked up to the splicers and responded in his drunken slur.

Cyborg: "Oh, hey everyone! You wish to fly like a kite too?"

Back at the entrance at the Apiary, Beast Boy, Starfire, and Terra are having troubles of their own. All around them, they could see multiple splicers in their rugby and sport uniforms, firing right at them with their rifles and pistols. The three Titans got into cover quickly as they hid behind a fruit and vegetable stand that was rotting and reeks of all kinds of terrible. Terra gripped the container box filled with enzymes and was getting pissed over these attacks.

Terra: "Okay… I know this is starting to become the norm in this city. But I would like to say first hand that I am really getting pissed off on these bastards!"

Beast Boy turned to her and agreed with her.

Beast Boy: "Yeah, I know the feeling. But we can't hide in here forever. We need to get back to the others and get those enzymes to Langford. Hopefully, Robin and the others got the distilled water as well."

Terra heard him and sighed with concern.

Terra: "Great… Why don't you tell these crazies that we just need to pass through so we can save Arcadia? I'm sure they'll be happy to cease fire and let us through."

BB knew what she meant and wished it were the happen.

Beast Boy: "I just wish it were true. But right now, the only option we have is to go through them. We're going to need a distraction to get out of this mess. Starfire?"

The Tamaranean turned to him and knew what he wants her to do.

Starfire: "Not to worry; I will handle these deformed humans and make a clearing."

Immediately, she flew up high and out of cover, heading towards the splicers in fast speeds. One of the splicers noticed her and told everyone to focus their fire on her.

"See that? Looks like we got a duck hunt on our hands. Let's shoot the poor ducky down!"

So the group started to fired their weapons right at her, in hoping to take her down. Star immediately flew in curves and angles to avoid getting hit. Once she got an opening, she flew high to the ceiling and flung multiple star bolts right at the group. Most of them scatter after being bombarded by the projectiles while a few of them were killed by the shots. They all went into hiding and provided covering fire as Star managed to avoid that with ease. She soon notice a few more splicers that were on a wooden bridge that connects to two separate areas and decided to take out the higher threat. So flying in, her eyes glowed and two beams came out of it. The group on the bridge saw that and fired away, but she swirled to the side to avoid getting hit. Pretty soon, her beam cut one part of the bridge as she flew over it. The group turned around and kept on firing, hoping to shoot the alien down. But she dived down and went back, this time, flying under with use her beams to cut the other end of the bridge. The guards looked on and wondered why she didn't kill them. But looking at the bridge and seeing it creek, they soon discovered their answer.

"Shit! Everyone off the bridge! This thing is going to-"

But it was too late as the bridge broke and falls to the ground floor with everyone on it. The moment they crashed, all that's left were splintered debris and bodies on them. Star looked back and was glad that was taken care of. But then, she turned back and noticed the ground forces all surrounding her. With a quick glance, she shot up and flew high to the ceiling while the splicers started to fire on her. She quickly flew in many turns and curves, avoiding each shot, but she was completely overwhelmed by this many numbers. As she was surviving, Beast Boy and Terra peaked up and realized that their friend is in trouble. But they also see that the splicers were preoccupied with her and knew they have found an opening.

Beast Boy: "Looks like Starfire could really use our help. Come on Terra, let's assist her!"

The Earth Bender sighed in relief as she took a rotting banana peel off her head and was disgusted by it.

Terra: "Good. I stay in this fruit stand longer I would puke."

Dropping the peel, the two got out of the stand and charged in for the opening. As they were doing that, the splicers were firing away on the Tamaranean who was flying around and was hoping to get rid of her.

"Keep shooting at her boys! That duck's got to stop flying sooner then later."

But as he was saying that, he heard a voice from behind.

Terra: "That duck is our friend!"

He heard that voice and turned around to see whom that belonged to. It was then that he got a hit by a slab of hard dirt and cleaned his head right off. The body soon fell limp and the group heard it, looking down to see the splicer without a head. It was then that they turned to what hit him and saw Terra standing there with her arms crossed and surrounded by wilted flowerpots. But the flowers she wasn't using. Instead, she's using the earth in them. With a wave of her glowing yellow hands, the dirt started to pop out of the pots and gathered around her. They soon started to form sharp spikes as she flung her arms to them, causing them to fly towards the splicers. They soon saw that and decided to escape.

"Scatter!"

So the group begins to split and run, trying to avoid the dirt like spikes. Some of the spikes hit a few and impaled them completely. One managed to jump out of the way and avoided one of the spikes and was on the ground and in a daze. That was until he felt a huge shadow that is hovering right over him. Slowly looking up, he saw something he never expected. A huge green gorilla towering over him, pounding his chest and roaring loud. The splicer saw this and immediately realized that he was in some serious trouble.

"Ah shit!"

The gorilla, who is Beast Boy, raised his fist up and was ready to pound him. But the splicer quickly was glowing red and exploded in mist, disappearing completely. Beast Boy noticed this as he pound nothing but broken floor and realized these weren't normal splicers. Terra noticed it too as the remaining group that wasn't killed, vanished in red smoke as well.

Terra: "Oh great… Houdini Splicers… I really hate these guys."

The two looked around and wondered where they have gone. That's when the splicers appeared above them through the mist and on the scaffolding planks, immediately taking aim with their weapons.

"Quite clever those two. But not clever enough. Take those two down and make it quick. We have to take care of that orange duck as soon as possible."

They were about to fire when another splicer asked where the other one was.

"Wait! Where is that duck! I don't see her anywhere. Did you see her?"

The other splicer heard him and turned to him with disgust.

"Me? Seeing her? I didn't see her! I thought you were in charge!"

The second splicer turned to her and complained about it.

"I'm in charge! It was you who told us to focus our attention to that freak! I was only following order from Wilkins!"

"Well where is she?"

As the two were arguing, Starfire flew up from behind them and her hands and eyes were glowing green.

Starfire: "I am right behind you."

The two heard that and the group turned around to see the Tamaranean floating behind them. They reacted quickly and turn their weapons to her. But they didn't have the time in firing as Star got both hands up and blasted the group with her star blast. That blast pushed them and caused them to fall right to the floor. Some of them managed to escape and vanish, while a few of them landed flat on the ground. Once they were gone, Starfire appeared between her two friends and told them to be careful.

Starfire: "Be on alert. These splicers can appear from anywhere. They must be stopped."

The two Titans nodded as they had their backs to each other, looking for any possible spots they could appear in. Terra soon noticed a red mist from the corner of her eyes and knew one of them was returning.

Terra: "Found one!"

With a wave of her yellow hand, dirt came out of the pot and turned into a spike. With a quick flick, the spike flew toward the mist and was about appear. The moment the splicer showed up, he was completely impaled and falling off lighting post. The place soon remains quiet as they kept on watching for any sign. Beast Boy soon saw another mist right in front of him and warned the others.

Beast Boy: "Found another!"

He soon turned into a tiger and growled before pouncing on the splicer that appeared. He soon pinned him to the ground and went on a mauling spree, taking out the threat in mere moments. When he was done, he changed back and returned to the group, waiting for any more movement. Star soon spotted a few more red like mists appearing up on the window of a shop on the second floor.

Starfire: "I have discovered more!"

She soon flew up high and threw multiple star bolts right at them. Some of them managed to avoid the shots and got into firing position. Others were caught by the blasts and were knocked off, dieing on the floor. The remaining group started to fire at the Tamaranean and the two friends. Terra quickly waved her yellow glowing hands and up and slabs of concrete from the floor rose up and formed a tent to deflect the bullets raining down on them. Star looked down to see the tent made of concrete and had to do something about it. Turning back, she could see half of the men pointing the weapons at her and fired. She immediately swoops down and avoided the onslaught, going below the beam. The splicers saw this and had to turn around to fire back. But Star got the advantage as she clapped her hands and a flash of green engulfed the area, blinding the remaining splicers along the way. Once they were blind, she flew upwards and targeted all of them. With her eyes glowing, she fired her beams and turned her head left to right, cutting all of them through their mid section. They all split as the upper halves fall to the ground with the bottom halves falling soon after. With those gone, Starfire swoop down to the concrete tent where Terra and Beast Boy are at and told them that they're safe.

Starfire: "Okay, friends. All of the splicers are now gone. You can come out now."

Just then, the slab lowered a little to reveal the two teammates as BB asked if they have taken care of all of them.

Beast Boy: "Is it safe?"

Star smiled and nodded, knowing that she has taken care of the threat.

Starfire: "It would seem that the Houdini Splicers have all been disposed of."

Just as she said that, all three of them heard a voice from close by.

"Don't be too sure about that, love."

She soon heard that and turned around. It was then that she saw the remaining Houdini splicers surrounding the three, but this time, they don't have any weapons with them. With a sinister deformed grin, he knew what to do with the two intruders.

"Boys! I'm feeling a little hungry. Why don't we cook up a nice plate of Duck a' Orange?"

As he asked that, he tightened his fist and flames started to come out of it. The others laughed evilly and could agree with him heartily.

"Oh yes… Cook up the duck, eat the duck. Bet she taste like chicken."

All of them soon charge up their fireballs and were ready to roast her and the others. All three of them blinked and knew that they can't get out of it.

Starfire: "On second thought…we might have missed a few. You do not have room in there, do you?"

Almost immediately, the remaining splicers shot spews of flames at them and were ready to burn them. Terra quickly told her to get in quickly.

Terra: "Get in. Get in! GET IN!"

Quickly, the Tamaranean flew into the tent while Terra waved her hands up and seal the top up completely. Once it was sealed, the flames hit the tent and exploded in a plume of flames. While the concrete protected the three, it won't matter as the group of Houdini's kept on firing.

"Keep roasting them boys! The three will get out of there sooner then later."

Inside the concrete tent, all three were completely crowded as Star used her powers to light up the darkness. While they were safe, the flames around the concrete tent was heating up, causing them to sweat a little bit.

Beast Boy: "Okay… Looks like that we got ourselves in a bit of a pickle. Now what?"

Star thought of this and didn't know how to get out of this.

Starfire: "We cannot fight back as those splicers are using their fire continuously, nor can we escape otherwise, we would be burnt. The only way we could get out of this one would be what you people on Earth would call, a miracle."

Terra sighed and knew that would be impossible.

Terra: "Not that easy finding a miracle. It's not like something unexpected would happen."

Back out, the splicers kept on spewing out fire like that of a flamethrower and were on a verge of breaking the tent and cooking them.

"Almost there boys! I can literally taste the duck and her friends."

That splicer was salivating at the thought while the others strongly agreed with him. But as they were continuing the roasting, one of them heard something in his ears and stopped.

"Hey! What's that sound? You guys here that?"

The others splicers heard him and stopped what they're doing. They soon heard the strange sound and noticed that it was familiar.

"Yeah… We heard it… Don't know, but its either the plasmids playing noise in our heads, or it's real life…buzzing."

He soon slowly turned to the door leading to the Silverwing Apiary. Curious, he approached the door as it slowly started to open. As soon as it fully opened, his eyes were wide as a huge swarm of bees came out of the glass tube. Turns out, those genetically enhanced bees found a way out of the lab and flew through the ventilation system, the same one Beast Boy used to scout ahead. Now that they are free, they flew down to reek some havoc. And with the Houdini splicers in the way, they were caught at a bad time.

"Oh… That's not good…"

Almost immediately, the bees hit the first splicer as the rest of them spread out and got the others. The group was caught by it and the bees surround them, stinging them in many directions. The group tried to swoop them away and used the flames to burn them, but there were too many of them and the fames hit parts of the structures, catching them on fire. As all the craziness was going on, the concrete tent lowered and Star, BB, and Terra emerged, wondering why the splicers stop firing, let alone the buzzing being heard. It was then that they discovered the bees assaulting the Houdini's with their stinging and the group trying to do their best in getting rid of them. They soon blinked and were surprised by the sudden battle.

Beast Boy: "Okay…. This was unexpected. How did those bees got out of the Apiary?"

Terra thought of that too and remembered the vents Beast Boy took.

Terra: "My guess, the ventilation system you used to scout for the enzymes. Those genetic bees are smarter then they look."

It was then that there was a beeping noise coming from around them followed by an announcement.

"Attention: Bees from the Silverwing Apiary have escaped. All civilians must evacuate the area immediately. Administering lockdown procedures."

Just then, they could hear the doors closing as they turned to see the door leading them back to the main courtyard slowly closing. Seeing that and the bees around them, they have to make an escape now before it's too late.

Starfire: "We need to make an escape and fast before we are trapped and stung. Hang on!"

Instantly, she flew up and floated above her friends. Beast Boy soon jumped up and turned into a sloth to grab hold of her legs while Terra jumped and hang on to her wrist. Quickly, she flew down towards the closing door while the two Titans held on for their dear lives. Already, the door was closing halfway through and was close to closing. At the same time, some of the bees noticed the three leaving and have to stop them from taking their enzymes, which was in that container Terra has on her back. They soon flew towards the three and were in pursuit. Terra noticed them following and told Star to hurry.

Terra: "Star?! Better pick up the pace! Those Bees look to be hungry for us now!"

Star saw the door slowly closing and decided to go full blast. With enough focus, she launched like a missile and sped incredibly fast to reach it. With just a slither, she managed to fly through the door when it was at the proper height between her body with Beast Boy and Terra clutching on her by that velocity. Once they pass through, the security door closed and blocked the bees's path. They soon turn around and proceeded in attacking the Houdini splicers. Soon enough, the produce area was completely filled with bees as the two doors lock the place down to prevent any of the insects from escaping. And even if Star and the others got out of there, the splicers, not so much. The remaining group was trying to survive as they swung their arms while spewing flames to burn them up. But there were too many of them and the place was covered in flames and stingers.

Meanwhile, back at the winery, the Houdini splicers pointed their weapons right at the other half of the team and fired their Tommy guns, carbines, shotguns, and pistols. Robin and Raven saw this and the telepath formed a shield to deflect the shots. Rob looked to this and noticed a long table to hold a total of ten people. Turning to the others, he told them to come with him.

Robin: "Follow me! Hurry!"

Both he and Raven headed to the table, but Cyborg remain on the spot, sitting wide legged as he was still drunk after hiding in a barrel filled with red wine from the security system. He looked at the bullets flying around him and was marveled by it.

Cyborg: "Oh… Look at all the bugs buzzing by. Buzz, buzz, buzz…"

Quickly, his body was engulfed in black energy as he levitated and flew up to the two. Robin soon kicked the table from the floor and tilted to the side, sending multiple items off the table on crashing on the floor. The three soon hid behind the table as the bullets kept on whizzing by. Raven soon sighed and figured this was going to be a bit of a problem.

Raven: "Okay… It's bad enough we need to lob this drunk back to sober him up. It's another to look after this dimwit when there's a small army of trying to kill you, that won't be an easy feat."

Robin nodded and decided to get all this out of the way.

Robin: "Which is the reason why we have to get rid of them fast before Cy does something we would regret. Covering fire, Rae. Take out as many as you can!"

Rae got the message as she tightened her fist and charged up to black aurora blasts as the song 'Jitterbug Waltz' playing through the speakers. The two soon got out of cover and did some covering fire, firing their Birdarangs and aurora blasts right at the splicers. They managed to take out the first wave of them and they were knocked down or impaled by the blades. They all soon went back to cover as the group refreshed their clips and went back to firing. Once they were in the clearing, they got to another table and turned it over, just to provide covering fire on their own. Both sides kept popping up and down, using their weapons to fire and fling at. At the same time, Cyborg was enjoying and pop ups from his friends and started to sing a song in a drunken manner.

Cyborg: "Half a pound of tuppenny rice. Half a pound of treacle. That's the way the money goes. Pop goes the weasel. Every night, when I go out. The weasel's on the table. Take a stick and knock it off. Pop goes the weasel."

Raven could hear him singing and told him to shut up.

Raven: "Enough Cyborg! We got a lot of things to be dealing with right now. Don't make me send you to another dimension!"

More bullets came above her and she ducked her head down. Once they stopped firing, Rae told him to not do anything dumb.

Raven: "Just stay where you are, keep quiet, and don't do anything stupid. Got it?"

Cy gave her a swerved grin and responded the best he could.

Cyborg: "Okay, black birdy… I'll be a good boy."

The telepath rolled her eyes around and hope that he doesn't cause any trouble. Quickly turning to Robin, she told him of the situation.

Raven: "Looks like Cyborg is going to behave, hopefully. Best bet he would get us killed if he behaves this way."

Robin got the message and had to clear the way.

Robin: "Then we better secure the area and get to the courtyard before he causes us problems. Let's do this!"

He soon gets out of cover and tossed four pellets out of his utility belt and they exploded in the middle of the floor. That soon engulfed the room in a puff of smoke and blinded the splicers. This gave the two the chance they need. Jumping out of cover, they ran to the spot where the splicers were and were going to take them out the fast way. Back with them, the splicers can't see anything, but knew that the group will come after them, knowing this, one of them turned to the group hiding behind the cashier counter and told them to strike from behind.

"Go! Flank them! The MVP doesn't want survivors."

The group heard him and nodded, focusing as they vanished into red mist, marking them as Houdini Splicers. Once they vanished, the splicer leaned back and chuckled to himself.

"Those poor bastards won't know what hit them."

Just as he said that, he soon heard a voice coming from close by, like really close.

Raven: "Funny? We were going to ask the same thing to you"

He soon heard that and peeked up to see where the voice came from. Just then, he was introduced to a boot in the face through the smoke and pushed him down. That was when two Titans came out of the smoke and got to the other side. The rest of the splicers turned around to see them as the splicer that got kicked was unconscious. That's when they saw Robin and Raven in their battle stances as Robin got his Bo staff out and twirled it around for a bit.

Robin: "As much as we want to go and fight you, we don't have time for it. So it's best you stay out of our way or else."

The splicers looked to each other for a little bit wondering how to approach this one. Looking back, they decided to take care of it and got their melee weapons out that are comprised of bats, golf clubs, tennis rackets, and crickets, all of which represent different types of sports.

"Swat the birdies!"

They all charged right in and were ready to clobber them. Raven saw this and groaned to herself.

Raven: "And they charge. Why don't they realize that their lives are in danger?"

Robin reminded her why.

Robin: "Because they were spliced up and don't know how precious their lives are. Let's get this over with and regroup with the others. Go!"

Soon enough, the two immediately charged in toward them and the two sides collided. Robin spins his staff and hits the first few splicers by the heads and stomachs, keeping them down. Raven then use an aurora wave to push the remaining splicers back and waved her hands to them, levitating tables and chairs towards them. Some of them ducked and avoided the projectiles while the rest were hit hard and were knocked out. As the battle was going on, the smoke started to clear and Cyborg peeked up and watched the fight as well. But he was still drunk and was going crazy with the fight.

Cyborg: "Woo-hoo! This is awesome! Better then pro wrestling!"

He soon hiccupped and was swaying from side to side. What he didn't know is that red mist was appearing and gathering into multiple entities, by the time they appeared, Cyborg saw that and turned to see the second batch of splicers and have their melee sporting weapons armed and ready.

"Lookie here. The Tin Man has lost his way. What's the matter Tin Man, couldn't find Oz…?"

The group laughed it up and got that reference. Cy though was a little dazed and responded by continuing that reference.

Cyborg: "Oh, Hello there? Are you the Munchkin people? You look a lot bigger then in the film. Can you point me to where Oz is? I would love to see the grand wizard…"

He hiccupped again and laughed a little drunkenly. The splicers noticed his behavior and looked to each other in confusion. One of them turned to him and demanded what he's going on about.

"What are you babbling about, Tin Man?"

That's when the splicer next to him realized something and told him of what it was.

"My guess, that Tin Man must've had a lot to drink. Must've gotten into one of the wine barrels in the process."

Hearing that, he turned to see the hybrid staggering and was in agreement. He was drunk, and couldn't keep himself upright.

"Hey, buddy. You alright? You seem to be out of it."

Cy looked to the splicer with glazed eyes and responded with a bit of a burp.

Cyborg: "Oh… I'm super fine… Just light as rain… In fact, I'm so fine that I want to sing and dance. You Munchkins and sing and dance along with me. You know the song. When a man's an empty kettle. He should be on his mettle. And yet I'm torn apart. Just because I'm presumin'. That I could be a human. If I only had a heart."

He started to sing and dance around, feeling dizzy and out of it. The splicers watched the show and couldn't help but to laugh it up.

"Isn't that sweet…? Our Tin Man thinks he's the real deal. Wonder if he does have a heart. Let's check it out, shall we boys?"

The others heard him and agreed with murderous glee. With their weapons raised, they soon started to charge in and raised their melee weapons high to pummel him. But as the first one brought his bat down, Cyborg grabbed him by the wrist and tightens it with his inhuman strength. The splicer felt that and screamed in pain, causing him to let go of the bat. Cy soon winded back and punched the splicer in the face, causing him to fly to the wall and leaving behind a huge implant on it. The rest of them saw this and had to take him out now. So they went to the attack and tried to hit him. But as they did that, Cyborg soon avoided each attack with drunken dance moves and used his elbows, fists, and kicks to fight them off. Even if he was defending himself, he was still a bit drunk as he continued to sing and dance.

Cyborg: "I'd be tender, I'd be gentle. And awful sentimental. Regarding love and art. I'd be friends with the sparrows. And the boy that shoots the arrows. If I only had a heart."

As he was doing his little performance, Robin and Raven were handling their own fight. Robin swung his staff around and hit a bunch of splicers, taking them out. Most managed to recover and attacked with clubs and tennis rackets, but those weapons were covered in dark energy and were pulled form their hands. They all looked to that and were shocked and confused by what happened. Turning around, they could see Raven standing there with their weapons floating in mid air. With a smirk, she decided to give them back.

Raven: "Loose something? Here, take it!"

With a quick flick, she tossed the weapons back to them and they were all hit in the heads with them, leaving them unconscious. Once they were all down, Robin met up with the telepath and thanked her for that.

Robin: "Thanks for the assist."

Raven shrugged it off and responded in kindly.

Raven: "Naturally. I just hope that's the last we see of them.

Robin: "Now we should get Cyborg and get back to the others. I just hope that he's not running into trouble in his condition."

Raven turned to see where Cyborg was and had a mental shock on her face.

Raven: "Uh… Yeah… About that…"

She soon pointed to the spot where Cyborg was, gesturing the leader to look. Rob was curious and turned to see what she was referring too. That's when he saw something completely baffling. He saw Cyborg singing and dancing while fending off against the remaining splicers. Blinking, he was getting angry over it.

Robin: "Don't tell me Cyborg is fighting into a dance number? For crying out loud…"

He face palmed himself and groaned in complete anger. Raven though looked to this and was impressed on how he's holding up.

Raven: "Well, on the bright side, at least he's holding his own."

Back to Cyborg, he was fending himself with random kicks and punches, taking out the splicers that surround him. Of course, considering his drunken nature, he is fighting them off with a musical number. With one block, one kick, and one punch, he danced and singed like he was the Tin Man from Oz.

Cyborg: "Picture me a balcony. Above a voice sings low. Wherefore art thou, Romeo? I hear a beat, how sweet!"

As he had his arms out, one of the splicers grabbed him by the neck and was giving him a chokehold.

"Ha! Got ya, Tin Man! Let's see you get out of this one."

He squeezed tight; trying to make sure he passes out. Unfortunate for him, Cy was still aware and peered back with a dazed smile. He soon grabbed him by the neck and pulled him down, sending him flying towards the cashier counter and right to the wall. On that wall, the splicer hit the security switch and caused his back to crack and get killed in the process. But as he fell to the floor, the alarm started to short circuit and exploded, that in turn cause the security across the winery to reactivate itself. Robin and Raven noticed that and realized that they could be in some serious trouble as the camera and turret were turned on and surveyed the area.

Robin: "Oh boy…"

Raven: "Not good…"

The turret soon spotted them and immediately fired bullets right at them. Rae quickly got in front of the leader and got her hand up, forming a wall to deflect the bullets. At the same time, the camera spotted Cyborg and the light turned read. At the same time, sentry bots came in and followed the hybrid's every move. But with Cy still dancing, he treats the camera like a spot light and danced through it while he was singing.

Cyborg: "Just to register emotion, jealousy, devotion. And really feel the part. I could stay young and chipper. And I'd lock it with a zipper. If I only had a heart."

As he was singing and dancing, he turned on his sonic blasters and fired away at the sentry bots, taking one down with each dance move. It was as if he was grooving through the music in his head while the alarms and propellers were buzzing all around him. Course that won't last and the rocket bots were coming up from the cellar and were heading to the tasting room. Raven and Robin were trying to hold on with the turret still firing, but turned to see Cyborg dancing and shooting. But then, they noticed the rocket turrets approaching him and knew that it was going to be bad.

Raven: "That's not going to end well."

Robin soon decided to get out the quick way and told Raven on what to do.

Robin: "We don't have time for this. We need to get out of here now while we can. Raven, on my mark."

The telepath turned to him and noticed an EMP disk he was holding. Nodding, she waited for his signal while the shield was on the verge of breaking. The turret soon overheated and cooled off to reload. Seeing this, Rob told her to do it.

Robin: "Now!"

With that, Raven lowered her shield while Robin threw the disk. The disk soon hit the turret and it short-circuited and shut down before it could fire. Once it was out, the two rushed to Cyborg, hoping they can save him in time. Meanwhile, Cyborg was finishing up his number as the rocket bots approached him and surround him. Once they were around him, he outstretched his arms and finished his line.

Cyborg: "IF I ONLY HAD A HEART!"

At the same time, the bots took aim and was about to fire. But Robin and Raven managed to get to him as the leader got his Bo Staff out, telling Raven to get them out.

Robin: "Do it, Raven! We have no time left!"

With that, Raven got her arms together and tightened her fists. Pretty soon, they were engulfed in black energy and vanished right through the floor. Once they vanished, the sentries fired their rockets at the exact spot and exploded, only to miss them and leaving behind and smoldering spot. As that happened, a few of the splicers recovered and rubbed their heads and bodies in pain. One of them rubbed the back of his head and was in a bit of a daze.

"Ow… My head… Who would've thought that the Tin Man can pack a whollop. What we missed?"

As he was struggling, he heard the sound of alarms and looked to see what it was. It was then that he saw the camera pointing right at him, signaling him to be the intruder. He soon looks up to see the sentry bots pointing right at him and were about to fire their rockets. Blinking, he soon realizes that he could be in serious trouble.

"Oh… Shit…"

That's when the bots fired right at the splicer and blew him up, followed by many others.

Back in the courtyard, the place was quiet until something flew through the hall. It was then that Starfire flew with Terra and Beast Boy hanging on to her legs. Once they were in the clear, the Tamaranean told them to let go.

Starfire: "Ok, I think we are safe. You can let go of my legs now."

The two heard her as Terra and Beast Boy detach from her legs and landed on the floor. Beast Boy, in his sloth form, changed back mid fall and landed on one knee, taking a bit of a breather.

Beast Boy: "Phew… Talk about cutting it too close. For a second there, I thought we were going to die in that mess."

Terra gave a bit of a breather and agreed with him.

Terra: "Tell me about it. Between those Houdini Splicers and the bees, I sure a Hell don't want to get stung or burned."

Once she relaxed, she looked around and noticed that they were back at the courtyard. But the rest of the team hasn't returned yet and that worried her.

Terra: "Well, we made it back. But I don't see Robin or the others. Hopefully, nothing bad happened to them."

Star heard that and didn't think that would come down to that.

Starfire: "Impossible… If I know Robin, he and the others will survive through what we have been through. I am certain they have gotten out of a predicament like ours."

Just as she said that, a black raven came out from the ground and cawed loudly. That caught the group by surprise and was about to fight back. But they soon started to realize what the bird belongs to, as it shrunk and formed a portal on the floor. In that portal, Robin, Cyborg, and Raven rose from it as the two were holding the hybrid upright. The other three saw them and was glad that they arrived safely. Star saw Rob and decided to give him a hug.

Starfire: "Robin! You are unharmed! I was so worried about you!"

But Robin stopped her and told her that it was all right.

Robin: "No need for a hug, Star. At least we're glad you managed to survive."

Star soon noticed Cyborg looking a little off, almost like he's out of it.

Starfire: "What is wrong with Cyborg? Is he hurt?"

Cy slowly looked up to her with a bit of a stare and chuckled very slurly.

Cyborg: "Ah… Hello orange birdy? Do you want to fly with me too?"

The Tamaranean and others saw his behavior and was really confused. That's when Raven told them what happened.

Raven: "Cyborg isn't hurt. He's just a little drunk out of his mind."

The three blinked and was a bit shocked by that statement.

Beast Boy: "Wait a sec… Cyborg's drunk?! Whoa… And I thought LM has a drinking problem. What happened to him?"

The two looked to each other and wondered if they want to tell the whole story. But with the time they have, they don't want to waste the time in talking. So Robin turned to the Changeling and asked for some help.

Robin: "It's a long story. But we don't have the time to tell it. Right now though, we need to sober him up before he makes a fool out of himself again. Think you can help us out with him?"

BB heard his help and turned to see a broken fountain in the middle of the room filled with water. Seeing this, he smirked and decided to help out.

Beast Boy: Oh, I think I can… You guys best better get out of the way first. You could get a little wet."

Hearing that, the two stepped aside while Cy slumped on the floor. Once they were out of the way, Beast Boy turned into an elephant and used his trunk to suck up a lot of water from the fountain. When he did that, he aimed at his friend and fired the water right at him. The hybrid wasn't prepared and was blaster with liquid, pushing him off his spot and landed right on the bench. By the time Beast Boy stopped, Cyborg and completely drenched in water and shook it off, sobering up completely. Looking to the changeling returning to his human form, he was completely angry over his actions.

Cyborg: "Beast Boy! The Hell was that for?! When I get my hands on you, I'm gonna-"

He got off the bench and was about ready to pummel him. But before he could do that and stopped and looked around, realizing that they are back at the Courtyard of the Farmers Market and not the cellar of the winery. Blinking, he wondered how he got here, while feeling a serious headache in his processor.

Cyborg: "Uh…? How did we get back here? In fact, what happened? Did we get past all those pesky security bots? Urgh… And why is my head still ringing? Did I get a hangover or something?"

That soon led him to burp after that and covered his mouth up in embarrassment. The group looked on with a few of them snickered in his confusion.

Raven: "Let's just say you made quite of an ass out of yourself back there. But we're glad that you are back."

Cy looked to the telepath and was still baffled.

Cyborg: "Funny… I didn't leave anywhere, did I?"

Robin soon places his hand on his metal shoulder and told him that it was okay.

Robin: "Just be glad that we got out of there and we're safe, Cyborg. Not to mention we managed to get the remaining ingredients of Langford's project."

Cy heard that and still don't remember what happened. All he did was hiding in a barrel filled with red water, next minute, he was already at the courtyard. He's still trying to process what transpired while at the same time recovering from the headache. Still, at least they accomplished something, even if he doesn't remember much.

Cyborg: "Okay… I guess that makes sense. But that depends if the others managed to get the enzymes."

Robin soon turned to Beast Boy and asked if he managed to get a hold of one of the ingredients.

Robin: "Beast Boy? Were you successful in getting the enzymes.

The changeling heard him and got the case filled with enzymes on from Terra. He soon explained to him about it.

Beast Boy: "You had no idea what we had to go through. We were between dangerous splicers and a group of Killer Bees from the Travolta's Wicker Man."

The three looked to Star, Terra, and BB and were a bit confused. That's when Terra stepped in and decided to explain one of the threats.

Terra: "Long story… But he's right about the splicer part. We were ambushed by a lot of them, normal and Houdini's. The strangest part is that they were wearing sporting gear. Like a bunch of old school football players."

Robin and Raven looked to each other after hearing that and realized what she was referring to. Raven turned to the three and said that they experienced the same thing.

Raven: "Funny… We encountered the same thing too, right after surviving an onslaught of security drones from an overprotected and deceased winery owner. They too have football gear and was swinging us with sporting equipment."

Cyborg listened to that and didn't have a clue about that.

Cyborg: "Strange… I don't recall facing them."

Rae turned to him and told him about that part.

Raven: "That's because you were drunk like a skunk and did a dance and music number with some of them and the sentry bots, to which you reactivated."

Many question marks appeared on his head and didn't have the foggiest of clues about that.

Cyborg: "Yeah… Still don't remember about that."

Beast Boy soon started to think about the connection between those splicers and Danny Wilkins.

Beast Boy: "We get ambushed by mutated athletes, in a place where the Hulk reject is lumbering about. You think they can be related?"

Robin thought of that too and decided to get back to the mission.

Robin: "Maybe… But I don't want to wait around to find out. Let's send these ingredients back to Langford and return to her lab. I hope that this Lazarus formula can revive the trees and uplift the security."

He and BB turned to see the Pnuemo tube in front of them and approach it. Placing the two containers filled with enzymes and distilled water into the slot, the hacked line headed straight to Langford's lab where she will begin her work.

Robin: "All right. Now let's get back to Arcadia."

So the group started to head up to one of the sets of stairs and was about to reach to exit towards Arcadia. But as they headed to the open door, it soon started to close off on them and a red light flashed over it.

"Attention: Security Lockdown has been engaged. Civilians: Please remain calm. Lockdown will be lifted shortly."

The group saw that and realized that they are now trapped.

Cyborg: "Whoa! What gives?! I thought we were all in the clear!"

Robin approached the door and checked to see what the problem was.

Robin: "Hmm… Must be a malfunction or something. Giving what we've seen in Rapture, it's no doubt that there could be a system failure. We should give it a moment. I'm sure that the system will boot back up and the door will open for us."

Just as he said that, they heard a screeching sound in the speaker followed by a disgruntle voice all around them.

Danny Wilkins: "Aw… Are you leaving so soon? The game has just got started!"

Everyone stopped and looked around, hearing the voice from around them.

Beast Boy: "Wait! Who's that?"

It was then that the voice introduced itself.

Danny Wilkins: "Ladies and Gentlemen! Introducing, the bull of Rapture, the crusher of dreams, the MVP of the RFL… DANNY WILKINS!"

He started to cheer for himself, as if the crowd was around him. The others heard that and soon realized why the security door closed.

Raven: "Great… Now we got another crazy running the show. This must be the recurring theme in Rapture."

Robin sighed and decided to talk to him.

Robin: "So you must be Danny. We heard a lot about you."

Danny heard that and was getting cocky.

Danny Wilkins: "Did you now? So you heard of the greatest football player of all of Rapture. Take it you want an autograph of me."

Robin heard him and could tell that he was full of himself. So he went right to the point.

Robin: "No… But I take it you were the one who closed the door on us. Look, we don't have any problems with you. So if you can open the door for us so we can just leave, that you be really-"

But before he could finish, the football player immediately interrupted him.

Danny Wilkins: "Oh! You want to leave? But the first kickoff has begun. After all, you will be my opposing team for my Rapture Raiders. Fitting to note that this is the very team that took my uncle away from me."

The got their attention and didn't have a clue who he's talking about.

Terra: "Hold up… Your Uncle? What are you saying?"

Robin heard that too and begins to ponder. Wilkins had an uncle, and they killed him. He doesn't remember anything about that. Unless… That's when Rob's eyes went wide and he realized who the uncle was.

Robin: "Oh no…"

The others looked to him and wondered what he was thinking.

Cyborg: "What? What is it?"

The leader turned to them and told them of one of the encounters down in Rapture.

Robin: "Remember that Warf employee at Fontain Fisheries that was trying to kill us because he thinks we were working for his old boss?"

The others heard that question and immediately remembered about him.

Beast Boy: "What, Peachy. Yeah, we remember him, but he was crazy and killed…"

Just then, the name struck up something to them. And it's not just the first name, it was the last.

Beast Boy: "Wait a sec… You're not saying….?"

Robin nodded and told them what he was thinking.

Robin: "That's right, Peach's last name is Wilkins, the same as this guy. I'm afraid that Danny is Peach's nephew."

The group heard him and was in a bit of a shock

Beast Boy: "Oh no…"

Danny Wilkins: "That's right bird brain. My Uncle Peach and he was a good man. And now you went on ahead and killed him. I heard the news from Ryan after that and now you will all pay!"

Robin soon looked up to the speakers and told Danny that it wasn't the case.

Robin: "Danny, listen! We didn't kill your uncle. Whatever Ryan fed you was a lie. What happened back at the Fisheries is that he-"

Danny Wilkins: "SHUT UP! My uncle was everything to me and you had no right in killing him! And now you come into my home, wanting to finish up the rest of the Wilkins? Think again rookies! Training season is officially over. Now the real game begins! BOYS!"

As if on cue, they can hear the sound of mist starting to gather as the team approach the open observatory to see what the noise is about. That was when they saw multiple clouds that appeared and gathered, forming into an army of Houdini splicers in sporting gear, loaded with guns, melee weapons resembling a variety of sports, and incinerate Plasmids.

Danny Wilkins: "Let's play ball!"

The group looks at this situation and realized that they have no way to get out of it. Robin soon took a breather and could see the hopelessness of the situation.

Robin: "Well… Great…"
