I was thankful the rest of the week went by without incident involving Edward. He seemed to walk the other way whenever he saw me which I appreciated. There were the obvious rumors and talk about Homecoming, but by Friday the gossip no longer involved my name.

As I headed toward the gym for cheer practice, I stopped by the vending machine to grab a water and a snack. I nearly had a heart attack while I grabbed my selection out of the machine and saw Jacob standing behind me in the reflection of the glass. He watched my reaction and started laughing.

"I'm really not that sneaky, Bells. What were you thinking about this time that you missed someone as big as me standing behind you?" I blushed and tried to laugh it off. "I was trying to decide what I'm going to make for dinner and whether or not I have to stop at the store after practice."

He smiled, shook his head and picked up my phone off the floor that I hadn't even realized I dropped. He began typing something on it and then handed it back to me. "There. Now we don't need Facebook to talk. Later, Bells."

Cheer practice was always a bit longer on Friday's because the team played on Saturday. I was glad to be home at 7. Elena and Charlie were meeting up after work to go out to dinner, so I wouldn't be seeing them for a while. I put on Pandora and cooked myself chicken cutlets and mashed potatoes. The song playing almost made me want to dance in my seat.

I wanna I wanna I wanna touch you.
You wanna touch me too.
Everyday but all I have is time.
Our loves the perfect crime.

The All-American Rejects have always been a favorite of mine and this song just put me in a good mood and a semi-drastic idea in my head.

Saturday

I had spent the day in Port Angeles and wanted to hide my new look until game time. Luckily, I hadn't run into anyone I knew, and Charlie and Elena weren't going to be around until 7 when the game started. I just prayed once they saw the new me, I wouldn't be grounded for eternity.

I had taken a few new photos of myself in my cheer uniform that I would post later on Facebook. I had never been one to do so before, but I wanted to show off my new look.

I arrived at the school by 5pm. 2 hours before game time. Before I had to put my phone in my locker, I sent Charlie and Elena a text.

Just wanted to let you two know that I spent the afternoon in Port Angeles and made some changes to my appearance. I think at 17 I should be able to make these decisions myself, but I wanted to give you a heads up. Love you, xoxo.

So, I had gotten a full head of blonde highlights and a nose piercing. When Angela arrived, she ran up to me immediately. "OMG Bella. YOU'RE BLONDE AND YOU PIERCED YOUR NOSE. WHAT DOES CHARLIE THINK AND WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME?!" I laughed and tried to sound as confident as possible. "I haven't exactly seen Charlie or Elena yet. They'll be here at 7."

By 6pm, I felt good about it with all the compliments I had gotten from the girls. There was no turning back now.

I saw Charlie and Elena in the crowd during the game. I couldn't decipher whether my father was pissed or not by the look on his face or if he may have been saving the scolding for later. I hoped maybe he would understand and accept the choices I had made on my own. After all, it was my body.

It was hard to miss both Jacob and Noah staring at me when they were on the sidelines during the game. I couldn't help but smile and blush. I liked this new attention and it made me decide the new look would stay, no matter what.

Forks had defeated their opponent 28-14. After the game, I was hoping to spend the night out, Charlie permitting.

I met Charlie and Elena in the parking lot after the game, I tried to figure out what I was walking into. They both smiled and gave me a hug, which kind of surprised me. "I'm not that fond of you poking holes in your face, but it's your body and I think if you're happy, I have no reason not to be." Charlie said this sincerely and I was glad he didn't overreact.

We arrived back home at 10pm after a stop for ice cream. I finally opened up my phone to see what else would be going on tonight. Angela had texted me with plans. "We've been invited to a party at Noah's tonight. Pick you up at 10:30."

I opened up my Facebook and Instagram to post the pictures I had taken earlier and got dressed for the party. Before Angela picked me up, I let Charlie know I would be spending the night at Angela's.

By 11:30 I had a buzz and was enjoying my time at Noah's party. He had the biggest house in Forks aside from our own and parents that were never around. It was a classic old Victorian house which had been renovated and doubled in size from the original structure, but it still looked flawless.

I was hoping to see Jacob but hadn't been able to find him. Maybe he wasn't into parties, it was something I never bothered to look for in the past. I opened up my phone and pressed the call button on his contact. He answered quicker than I had expected.

"Hey Bells, what's up?"

"Why aren't you here at Noah's party? I've been looking for you."

"I'm heading over there now. Are you drunk already, you lightweight?"

"Just hurry up Jake." I laughed as I hung up the phone.

I rushed to find the bathroom and check my makeup and hair before Jake arrived. I wanted to look as good as I did before. When I came out, I walked right into Noah Donovan.

He looked at me and smiled in a way that made my knees feel weak. "Bella, I'm glad you came!"

I pulled him into a hug and whispered into his ear, "I'm glad to finally see you."

Noah smiled and grabbed my hand, leading me towards a couch that was close to the 3 beer pong tables that were set up. "Jake should be here soon, then we can pair up and play a few games." He suggested. I knew they played on the same team, but I didn't realize Noah and Jake were even friends aside from that.

The loud music playing made it difficult to have a conversation unless you were right next to someone, so I didn't think twice when Noah put his arm around me and moved closer. We talked for a good 10 minutes about football and his plans for college. It made me wonder why we weren't friends like this before. He was funny and charming.

10 minutes later, Jake finally walked through the door. I practically jumped up when he walked over to where we were and pulled him into a hug.

"It's about time, Black! You need to catch up." I smiled and took another sip of my drink. He laughed looking over at Noah, "How much has she had to drink?" to which Noah shrugged and handed Jake a beer.

Jake chugged two beers before we paired off for a few games of beer pong. I partnered with Jake and Noah with Mike Newton.

We had decided on playing a best of 3. By the third game, it was a tie.

"Come on, Bells. Just sink this last cup and it ours, you got this." Jake encouraged as I got ready to take my shot. On the other end of the table, I had to hold back a laugh at both Noah and Mike trying their best to distract me.

I took a deep breath and somehow managed to sink the shot perfectly. I turned to hug Jacob in celebration when he put his arm around my lower back, pulling my body against his. He placed his other hand on my cheek and in that moment, it was as if we were the only people in that room. His lips crashed down onto mine, his tongue parting my lips as it dipped inside, expertly exploring my mouth. Our tongues moved together in an erotic dance. I could feel the need for more growing inside of me. My knees felt weak as Jake moved his mouth down to my neck, sucking and biting down to my collarbone and back. I pulled his face back up to mine and sucked his bottom lip into my mouth, causing a moan to escape Jacob. I wanted to do everything possible to elicit that sound from him repeatedly.

I could faintly hear whistling as he pulled away from me. I blushed realizing we had just done something so intimate in front of a house full of people.

"Jacob always seems to love flowers." Noah said while laughing. I had no idea what that was supposed to mean, and I don't think I was supposed to hear it, which made finding a way to ask a challenge. Jacob seemed to ignore what he said, if he did hear it at all.

During the next 2 hours the party lasted, we all sat together on the couch, drinking and talking with me on Jacobs lap. Every so often Jake would just pull my face to his own and we'd make out until someone made a comment.

"So, do you want to go home, or do you want to come home with me?" Jacob asked. Before I could even think it through, I found myself responding. "With you."

Jacob and Noah exchanged glances as we left the party. I had a feeling there was more to it, but I didn't care. I wanted Jacob Black in every way possible.
