Enjoy the first part of this insane chapter.
The night sky reflecting down to the ground, the most deadly reveal themselves, with no hope in the sky, was left with the darkness of all beings. Criminals saw the night as a perfect chance to roam, rats were free to roam without the common threat of the higher beings of species to crush them, and most of any kind roam.
This was the same for two individuals especially, two with roaming as fast as a car, the sounds were few, and the directions they head were random, impossible for anyone to try and spy on them.
The two were moving in speed which they need, the moon was falling upwards into the sky, one speaks, "Just how far is this place?"
The other sighs, "Not very far, we barely need to supply the energy to get where we need to be, so quit the whining, remember the goal."
The other just moans and moves like the shadow. The two head onwards and kept moving, but it wasn't as random as claimed calculated. The shadows were moving in speeds to match the car, which is below, was a car driving on faster speed, the car taking as many turns as possible, and, ignoring a little of the Speed Limit, Traffic was to be ignored and to move at all costs. This made the Shadows live quite hard, but for whatever it was for both of them.
As they move alongside the car, "So, we promise to be able to set us free, but...you know how?" The one that was naive asks.
The other wouldn't stop, but answer anyway, "It takes patience, we don't fully know yet, but it's possible that he really might be speaking the truth, after all. We wouldn't have been surviving out here for so long without his help, we have no choice either way."
"I mean, sure, but couldn't we kill the human now?"
"Moron, don't you know already? That damn bunny would already of notify of our location by the time we would calculate our move, again, patience will be what we need."
"How much patience?"
"Until its time."
The naive one felt confused over this statement, but he just continues to follow the car as ordered, he wouldn't know exactly what that meant, but he wouldn't go on to question it. He always knew the other shadow was a thinker ahead of time, so maybe he had a plan up his sleeve?
For whatever reason, he'll be sure to stick alongside the side of his other shadow.
He would never lose the chance to see it all play out.
~Shift~
The three of them were just staring away from each other as the drive was as uneventful as it could go. The trio were in thoughts and just thinking of the night. Mike was in more deep thought how the hell he was gonna supposedly survive this last night, he said he had a plan, but he thinks so much of what could down, it was impossible to calculate. Jeremy more was in the stress of how he was gonna do what he can to make sure everyone gets out of this alive, Bonnie was just in thoughts of a whole other deal he didn't want to mention at all.
The road was wet, it was slippery, the small bits of rain were flowing down onto the cement of the road, the black of it reflecting a pond, the pond reflects onto anything it would see, in this case, the pond reflects the three in a microsecond before splashing away by the wheel of it. This reflects all their more hopeless faces. All their hopes were a little down, but confidence was gonna be key, they knew of that.
But what the hell are they gonna expect throughout this night?
No one knew the answer, not even Bonnie.
The brunette just looks out the window, seeing each building past by, and he even sees some stores he would visit in casual time, but he would just be reminded that they were close to where they need to be.
Mike goes on to think of the exchange between the animatronics and Jeremy back at the older pizzeria. It was like old friends going out of their way to remember every single thing of their pasts and to discuss it. To Mike, he wouldn't understand it, but he would see in the animatronics eyes...or optics that they were truly sorry over what happened during those nights, and wanted to apologize. Jeremy himself was forgiving, maybe a little too forgiving to his killers. It was all a blur.
'J-Jeremy? Jeremy Fritzgerald? Is it you...after all this time?'
'Y-Yeah, it's me...I'm back...'
It was an exchange of words that were just a whole new meaning of relationship in the grasp of which Mike would never understand, and probably would never, he never had any animatronics-
Well, even he knew that was a lie, Bonnie was right there.
His thoughts go quiet after that, knowing fully aware he wouldn't even trust his thoughts on the matter, it was time to drop it.
The drive went quiet again.
"...D-Did they tell you about t-the night...?" Jeremy's voice suddenly rang to Mike's ears and made his move over to the older nightguard, which he was still driving, it was all too familiar this was.
He decided to answer, "Yay, he told me a good amount. The puppet thing showed me what the hell happened and all that..."
Jeremy remains unchanged with his tone, "D-Did he tells you about...about the...whole night?"
"The whole thing," Mike repeats, then sinking himself back onto the seat, he wondered if this is just gonna be a repeat of what the puppet has already said to him.
"E-Especially the deaths?"
Deaths?
He only now knew of the older Manager's death, but another? "What you mean by 'deaths?'" Mike asks, his eyes glancing over to the shape of Jeremy's head, he could see it dripping.
Jeremy went on to take a deep breath, his eyes glancing back at the robotic bunny, who was still looking out the window, he would never know what the heck that bunny was thinking, never would he guess. He just remains those thoughts out to focus on his friends' question.
For that, he had to dig back into his exposed past.
It hurts.
Jeremy tried his best to remember, "I-It was...after all of that h-happened, Goldie w-wasted all his energy, as I w-was told. H-He exhausted it all, and a-after that, we were left inside the room, I-I was just wondering where F-Fritz was after all that t-time when that h-happened, right?"
"...Sure."
Jeremy continues to speak, "A-After what happened, I-I went to check upon him, and he was there, staring. I-It was like something happened to h-him to act c-c-completely d-different, I wouldn't r-realize it has just happened in front of me to act like that way, i-it hurt to see Fritz that way, b-but I stuck with him when the investigating te-team finally came around for the place, to c-close it later...
"I-It was sad, seeing as an m-my only friend at the time, I-I went to try and cheer him up the days leading to the closure. O-Our new M-Manager was just non-existent t-to us, h-he wouldn't even co-contact us as he j-just pays us the money to go h-home...w-which I plan to c-company Fritz when I was about to l-leave...
"Well, I-I waited for h-him for a good long w-while...but shortly of w-waiting, I then heard an s-scream..." Jeremy took deep breaths, he felt as his being was collapsing, and he wouldn't get this far without the support he had, "...I-I ran as fast as I could to F-Fritz, I knew it w-was him since t-there was only o-one other scream in the pizzeria, I w-went as fast as I can, I h-had to take a hard break o-on my body...
"If-found him in the p-parts and service room, and no-nobody other than F-Freddy was there...h-he didn't seem like himself though...It w-was like he was s-someone else..."
Mike was a little curious, seeing as Jeremy was describing this said Freddy in a different tone, and it refers back to the earlier conversations with Bonnie, something more in the lines of truer selves, not in his definition of 'Parasite' anyway. Whatever way that gold bear explains it.
He leaves those thoughts alone, his broken friend continues, "A-As I was trying to g-get Fritz from g-getting murder, Fritz t-tried to get me out of there, in-insisting that I should s-stay away a-and..." His breathing becomes harsher, the car was swirling more and more, and it got the bunny to even worry as Mike was beginning to see Jeremy lose it, "I-I tried to save him! It-tried to get him out of there, I-I didn't want him to die, I would n-never let a friend die! I-I'm so a-a-a-awful for leaving h-h-him like t-th-this...w-why did he sacrifice h-himself...W-Why-?!"
"Jeremy, you're going to crash us!" Mike yells as he grabs hold of the steering wheel, he had no idea to drive that good with a car, but he sure as hell wasn't going to crash all of them, he takes control and allowed his hands to take control, Jeremy was sobbing too hard to care so much of driving anymore, Mike's body felt stretched, but his will was, even more, he was beginning to cut off Cars, and some honk their horns.
Let them be mad, they say.
The road ahead was beginning to look more and more difficult as Jeremy's target area was nowhere to be seen, he had no longer any kind of Target area, only wheeling blindness. Mike had to turn his car left and right, a yellow bitch of a car was just trying to move left and right without their turn signals on, and it pissed off Mike enough to honk at them before he went on to pass them due to Jeremy's state.
Everything about this is batshit crazy.
Jeremy then begins to snap out of it, and his eyes widen completely, "O-O-OH CR-CRAP!" He yells, he grabs hold of the steering wheel as well and was drifting all over the place, causing a mass accident bound to happen, he drives as fast as he could to the curve, somewhere where they could be, Mike was the support of this moment and was guiding Jeremy to where they could park safely, Bonnie in the back was freaking out, his optics running left and right and yells...
"A-Are we going to crash, Mike?!" He crashes his voice into the car, and Mike hisses his ears.
"Not if we can at least break, Jeremy hit that fucking brake!"
"O-On it!" Jeremy obeys, and almost slams his whole foot onto the break.
This makes a massive stop, and completely flings all the bodies in the car, Mike, Jeremy, and Bonnie all flung themselves forward causing the organs of the humans to be strapped by the seatbelts. Bonnie himself only was a little flung by the accident parking, while Mike and Jeremy coughed harshly and yanked off their seats, while they were breathing, almost realizing they were gonna be killed before they were murdered by the bear.
In a way, that sounded preferable.
They didn't die at least.
A plus for that.
Mike coughs some more, while Jeremy himself almost looked defeated, he sighs, "W-Why am I the way I am..."
Mike, while not fully recovered, sighs himself, "Jeremy...come on, don't be that way, you did what you-"
"N-No Mike! I didn't d-do what I c-can! After all that, a-after surviving th-those nights, aft-after surviving t-the b-bite, and AFTER surviving t-the su-surgery, I w-went back to work!" He yells, hitting the car a little, not caring that breaks easily some of his bones in his body, he no longer cared so much of that, "F-Fritz was an m-my friend! H-He did what he c-can to support me, he d-didn't want me a-alive at first..."
Mike's eyes widen, his eyesight fixed right onto Jeremy's lips, he was biting so hard into his lips to begin to create bits of blood into them, but he still didn't care, "B-But soon enough, h-he and I grew c-close during those nights, it was t-those nights that have made me grown as a person! I-It was those nights that I f-finally made a new friend f-friends, th-those animatronics and I g-got on too late, b-but we realize we were in good terms...
"It was all f-for nothing...
"H-He was the one to ruin i-it all...h-he was the one to completely kill m-my only best friend at the time, he goes from working w-with the bear to be-betraying him, he d-did it all for me...
"Look who I a-am now, a c-coward...
Mike felt pissed, "No you fucking ain't! You survived this long just so you can live, he..." He went on to try and think of his reasoning, "You met me, right? You wouldn't be here if it weren't for me, it wasn't all for nothing. Jeremy, stop being a bitch!"
Jeremy almost yells at Mike, "H-How can I stop being like this if I-I don't realize m-my own mistakes!"
He fires back, "Realizing those mistakes aren't even yours."
"T-They were my mistakes, i-if I wasn't s-so much of a coward...I-I would of..."
"Tell me, would of what?"
"S-Save F-Fritz."
"Really? That would have happened? Or would of both of you been killed to shreds?"
"I...I...Fritz would have been a-alive, m-maybe not me, b-but-!"
"And how does that make Fritz feel any better knowing that his only friend died trying, sounds familiar, huh?" Mike counterpoints, pointing at the disbelief Jeremy, whose face was almost in decline, "I don't see how it is any better for you to be murdered and him surviving, sounds like a literal same situation to me..."
Jeremy continues to huff his breath out, his hand shaking beneath him, and Mike dares to look downwards onto Jeremy's chest, he could practically see Jeremy's beating harsh under his shirt, the heart had a thought of its own, and was traumatizing itself, Mike talks some more, "This conversation is familiar, ain't it? Remember when I was willing to sacrifice myself in order of others a couple of days ago? Yeah, that one, remember how you didn't want me to go kill myself just because of some animatronics?"
The more cowardly nightguard of the two blushes in frustration, "T-That's different, you were w-willing to get yourself k-killed by a-a animatronic you b-barely knew..."
"How is that any better with Fritz?"
Jeremy wanted to answer directly, but thinking of it, really deep, he and Fritz were just simple friends at the end, come to think of it, they wouldn't just be complete friends at the very end, while he and Fritz were bonded, they still were loose at the end. He begins to think more critically about Mike's statement.
Mike somehow reads his mind, "Exactly, like, I don't know anything about that friend of yours, and I'm sure he means the world to you, but, if he was truly your friend, he would of sacrifice himself regardless for you, in away. Bonnie is like that, sure, from a glance, he was this evil ass animatronic coming out to get us, but at the end, he's on our side, if I have died..."
Bonnie glances in his direction, and he continues, "Things would have been different for him."
"What I'm getting at is that it's the same for both Fritz and Bonnie, they were bare 'people' we knew, they were just someone out there helping us, but we both grew to like each other and at the end. It would have been as bad if you died and Fritz lived he would have the same thoughts as you, I know this by heart."
Mike felt proud of himself when Jeremy's face went from complete disbelief to his friend right smack to actually god damn believing him, it was just funny to him, nights ago, he would do what he can to sacrifice himself for those around him, suicidal he was. He was to give up life, but after experiencing around him, after what was shown to him, he never felt more determined to stay around and to help the only bunny who didn't deserve all the treatment he went through.
Speaking of which, he stares back at the bunny, who's optics was staring still at Mike's, complete confusion, clearly processing all words coming right out of his mouth.
He was honest, he was at least happy Bonnie was thinking about his thoughts.
Well, until he realized the time, he checked his barely working watch, the thing has been used for years and the pointers barely kept up, but it was an estimate of time, the watch says...
'11:39.'
He had no time left, while Jeremy and Bonnie both were in thinking modes, he quickly interrupts the thoughts, "Look, I love to think about my life too guys, but we need to fucking go right now, times running out."
Both of them realized the time too, Jeremy himself snapped himself out, and complete reverse emotions to look brave, "R-Right, let's go."
The human looks back at the bunny, who optics still looked back and forth from him and the window, knowing there wasn't much choice anymore. In defeat, he nods.
All of them got out of the car and started to walk down the streets, the people who were walking downtown as well completely stared at the trio, especially the bunny, acting in little disgust as encountering him, and do what they always do, ignore him. Completely negotiating his existence, Bonnie went to try and ignore those glances, he was completely used to it, but it did hurt him a little in the inside.
But the thought of the man in front of him makes him almost forget of those stares.
...Mike...
He didn't deserve someone like him.
He thought back to the car, he still wouldn't believe it in decades worth of time, Bonnie stares directly at the human's back, he really would sacrifice his own life? His own miserable life for his? He knew already that he and Mike were close, really close as the nights between, despite the whole thing with the parasite, he felt weird around Mike, but he would never realize how much it meant for the nightguard to be alive right now, it brought him to his earlier reactions to his brother, his brother almost accused Mike to be controlling him, which for some reason at the time, he overreacted and shove his brother down to the ground. At the time, he didn't know at all why he did that.
But after that bigger explanation with the Marionette's powers, he understood.
He understood completely.
He didn't want to admit it now out loud, nor inside, but he stares at the human's handsome appearance, he had such amazing determination, determination no other human he would ever think could match, he did so much for him, he actively changed his life within' a few days. He was responsible for so much of whats going on, for worse or better. He loved everything he did, he mentioned this to his brother, he loved that Mike was going back to this place for no longer his case, well, he still would want the money.
But now it has become something else other than his desire, it was for his desire now.
This made him feel mixed completely when he realizes this.
He...He lo-
The robotic bunny was brought out of his thoughts shortly as Mike moves his mouth, "I see a ride that we were supposed to have," Mike says out loud, his expression grows both annoyed, but amused. The rabbit looks to where the two humans head turned and saw a familiar car...
The Managers, his was there.
Jeremy gulps, "S-So he was supposed to be there...r-right?"
Jeremy's friend confirms this, "Yep. Asshole was supposedly gonna come and get us, yet, never came around. Now he's here?" Mike had a more venom tone, and he scratches his neck in frustration, "Seems he made the first stop before us to greet us."
Bonnie turns his head to the current nightguard, "You saw that car too, Mike?"
Mike had a more confident smile, but it meant nothing, "Yep, saw that damn car when we were swirling onto the curve. I knew that was the Manager's car, seems he was following us around, and just went ahead, he's expecting us," Mike sighs, looking at the parking lot, it was empty, but not the type to be an empty parking lot.
Jeremy looks back to his friend, "W-Well, guess we gotta check in...h-huh..."
The brunette sighs, "...Yay, have to. Come on, let's just do this and get inside, or that damn bear will cancel his dumbass game to kill us," Noted, venom in the word 'game.'
The Trio began to jaywalk right towards the pizzeria since barely they would have time, the road was luckily empty of cops or citizens, so they were fine, but it didn't stop them from looking left and right in a 90-degree angle, the more cowardly human of the two was looking left and right when the street was barely visible, save for the pizzeria's lights shining down, in no hope was in the lights, but more of spotting those who dare.
The Trio walked across the almost-empty parking lot, Mike remembered there being at least a few cars around before nights, but seeing as there was none, almost gave the vibe of how nobody wanted to be there anymore. It makes him more worried that Janitor won't do his job anymore.
He felt a little paranoia, but he dismisses the feeling.
"I shouldn't expect a lot from you, considering how your just a nightguard," A voice comes right behind the only car in the parking space, but Mike knew very well who that was.
He grunts, "We had complications-"
Then a sound of the car being hit was heard, "Sure! I also had complications back here, but that didn't stop me from doing what I needed to do, Mike Schmidt, I waited for you," The Manager comes from behind the car, his expression was dark, even when the lights were shining on him.
"Yay, but as I said, some things happened back there and-"
He slams the car, "I do not care, Schmidt! Your late, I wanted to talk to you about very important things, but apparently, you were more busy wanting to goof around in there than to want to survive. I cannot believe I wasted my time with this."
Mike's expression begins to harden, his emotions were turning again, he could practically feel himself begin to feel the heat from the burning feeling. Why the fuck is the Manager of being a bitch again? He thought they were over this, it made him feel frustrated to know that 'Mr. Fazbear' over here was still willing to act like an asshole just to be one, what they did was incredibly important, and in no shape would it be likely wasting time.
Before beginning to respond, Jeremy then shoves himself up-front, and immediately doing this, the Manager looks in disgust, "I-I'm sorry, I was the o-one s-should of coming here e-earlier...I-I was just too b-busy trying to h-help my Mom a-and-"
"Stay out of this, Fitzgerald. I do not have the time for your excuses for your lousy friend over here, the last thing I would want is to hear from you!" He points in anger, while Jeremy's expression becomes significantly worse, his body position grows lower.
Mike practically grows, his anger was getting the better of him, he could feel Bonnie holding his shoulder, trying to calm him down, and for some time, he could feel the need to stop. The Manager was just being an ass, he shouldn't care so much of his short-temper, he could feel the rabbit behind him calming him down more, relaxing his shoulders with the feel of his hands.
Though that changes quickly, "You, I shouldn't have taken you back there, not only was this your idea just to see a copy of your so-called, 'brother,' but this was a huge waste of time just to sob to a bunny who is broken for years."
All a sudden, Mike felt blind, he felt as his brain stops functioning for a moment, and in the world, everyone just saw Mike's shadow expression. The Manager couldn't care less and went to try and decline this attitude, "I rather not hear a word, if Mike Schmidt even survives this night, he will get his paycheck and that's it-"
"Let me clarify something, you fucking piece of shit," Mike's voice booms, "Shut up."
The Manager then looks right at Mike, who's expression has grown hard, his mouth shows his canine, while his eyes just completely fueled with only one emotion, one emotion being the one that is being shadowed the most.
Anger.
"Schmidt, care to repeat that?"
The nightguard then stares right completely at the Manager's face, "Shut the FUCK UP! YOU PIECE OF GARBAGE OF A MANAGER!"
The air around grows completely thick.
The Manager looks right at the brunette, his face not being able to express how much just came out of his mouth, his face turning to his, "Excuse me?"
"Your heard me fucking correctly, I want you to shut the literal fuck up, I want you to zip your mouth so you could never speak with that shithole of a mouth ever again."
"In what regards do you think calling me a bunch of nameless insults will get you?"
"You have literal no position to speak with how I could have made it in time."
His face grows stiff, "In what you mean? Please explain so I can give off more reason to notice," The 'owner' was about to bring out something from his pocket.
"How you let a literal another human die in front of you."
Then he completely froze up, his body stiffens to the point of showing no signs of life, his color on his skin was fading, but he tries to hide this, "N-Now your just pull s-shit out of your mouth, I would never..."
"I know about the whole incident back at the pizzeria."
The Manager went silent before he shook his head, "Yes, I told you that the last Manager was killed, and I know it was my fault, but what did you mean...?"
"You were awake."
The employer's expression grows soft. His arms suddenly let go of themselves, while his body position weakens, he stares at the daring human opposing to him, Bonnie and Jeremy both look at him, while Mike's face doesn't even slightly change, he stares directly right at the opposing Manager.
Jeremy was the first to speak, "M-Mike, you c-can't be serious, I-I saw it with m-my eyes, h-he was dropped dead on the g-g-ground, I was being u-used as a hostage..."
Mike didn't turn his head, but he does speak, "I know, he made it look like it was that way, but I have a keen eye for that kind of shit, I saw it with my own eyes," He points, "You were awake, I can see that your breathing went down on the ground, your arms and legs moved at certain points, and mostly...
"I heard you speak, loud and clear."
The Manager went to try and fight back, "Y-You knows nothing, nightguard. There was no way you could have possibly saw-"
"The Marionette," The brunette knew exactly what he was going to say.
His old eyes widen, while his body cramped more, "H-He? But I thought..."
"Yeah, still around, good old puppet there, one to help us out a little, also shows everything I need. He was the one to show us the night and all that. Good stuff, but enough of that. You were awake, I saw it with my own eyes, I saw that you could have easily helped the yellow bear and the puppet, possibly the Manager, but you show to hide behind, honesty, that's a massive amount of respect lost there," Mike goes to confront him more, his expression continues to break more and more, "After that, I knew that you have no spot to say whats a waste of time and what's not, not only have you wasted more time back than I ever could, but you also wasted other peoples lives!"
The only sound was the harsh breathing.
Jeremy cuts in immediately, "S-Stop it, Mike! E-Even if he was a-awake-"
"He was."
"D-Doesn't matter! H-He still couldn't o-of done anything, he c-could try what he can, h-he couldn't d-deal with Freddy..."
"Either way, the hypocrite is going to go around and determine what people should have done? My point is, that's bullshit he does that while he could have done it himself!"
Bonnie then steps in, "Mike, please, you're being too harsh on him. I would know that since I was there too and saw it with my own eyes. He couldn't do anything, what was he supposed to do? Kill himself so the old Manager could live? I don't know if that would be reasonable really..."
The human with more harsh thinking goes in with this argument, "It could have been, Golden bear could have still kept his powers and none of it would of happen-"
"M-Mike, remember? Freddy was there," Jeremy counterpoints, "E-Even if G-Goldie would have a-able to keep his e-energy, F-Freddy would of still be so strong and...that would of b-been bad-"
Mike looks at Jeremy with that still determined face, "That's not what I mean, Goldie would have still a chance against him, the power difference was there, but I saw it with my own eyes, he would have been able to keep up. The only reason he wasn't able to be because of the humans in the room, he had to hold back," Mike claims.
Jeremy completely disagrees with Mike's logic, knowing full well that wasn't correct and was about to lecture Mike on the whole topic.
Well, until a voice comes right into the conversation, "He's...right."
Everyone looked at who spoke, it was the one who started this argument, his expression was in sorrow, his heart beating through his clothes. His expression was a mix of strength, but as well as fragile.
"I-I knew that bear, even before all that, I still remember as clear as day, back in the older days, he was always the more careful one. I always would presume he was programmed to always be protective of kids and to make sure they never got in trouble, I would always shrug off those kinds of actions...
"But looking back at it, it was also a fault," His voice cracks, clearly on the verge of crying himself down. Mike almost felt a tug, but his raw emotions keep it from showing that.
Bonnie went to jump in, "It isn't a fault, because of his nature, he always wanted to protect us, always looking out for those around. He wouldn't hold back on a life-risking situation," His voice rivals of Mike's in determination, but in more of excusing Goldie's little fight with Freddy.
He shook his head in disagreement, "No, that's not right. Remember? Goldie had enough of that Golden stuff that had the power to finish off that bear, but he was holding back still, he was thinking about those...or you and him at the time, he was thinking of the safety of even me. He probably even knew I was alive, but I...I was spectating the whole thing..."
The Manager's tears were incredibly visible now, his expression grows of depression, his glasses shook on his face. The car was once again banged from his crippling hand, "I could have done something! I...I would of able to get those Nightguards out. I...I..."
The Manager was in the breakdown, and for the trio about to enter the Pizzeria, they felt sadness seeing the same person from being an asshole, to outright being depressed Manager. Mike felt the sympathy, he knew he shouldn't have said much of that night, but seeing that his friends were being insulted like that, he wouldn't be able to help himself.
Still, someone needed to talk some sense, and he knew he was the only one to have the strength. Either that, or he just had a big mouth and couldn't shut up about it.
Probably the latter to be honest.
The Manager then sighs, "...I...I have a lot to think about...Mike, I still do not approve of any of what you said, I really don't, and I'm still thinking about my words from earlier..." He was stumbled on and was moving back in his car, but his sad expression never changes, "...but I wish you luck for this Night, please, stay alive."
Like that, the two humans and bunny watch as the car drives away, fast it went out. Driving to who knew where.
Jeremy pulls up his voice, "W-Well...that was..."
"Harsh, harsh it was," Mike responds and agrees, which Jeremy nods.
Bonnie still had a stiff expression on the whole thing, but he goes back on what was important, "So, do we go inside now?"
The two human friends both look at the only animatronic with their determined face, "Yeah," both of them said at the same time.
Mike pulls a small nudge, "Jinx."
"N-Not the time, Mike," He shook his head in disapproval.
"Come on, we said it at the same time and-"
"M-Mike."
"...Right."
Both of them head in, Bonnie shortly behind them, they have done this a numeral of times, nevertheless, it felt as they were always entering a place of unknown. With them making it through the glass doors and past the second set of doors, they all stare right directly at the pair of doors.
They knew, once they opened this door, this twisted game, the very game that has caused so much misery, the same game that has made their lives miserable, they would enter it again.
Mike stares at it with his determined eyes, the first time he saw these doors, he wasn't expecting much at all. He would think that he would just watch some pizzeria with some creepy but manageable animatronics. However, in today's night, he had an utterly different reason to go through this door, and in fashion, was ready to face it. He no longer in heart wanted to do this for the money, he still had an interest in it, but that didn't matter. He was doing this for something else now, and he was sure to either walk out or do what he needs to do to make it happen.
Jeremy had a more fearful expression on his face, but like Mike, it was all too determined. He had the same feelings in a way that no longer he had more selfish desires, he wanted to help, he wanted to help his friend, he would never understand his friends' determination, on the other hand, he was willing to do what he can as well to make up for his past mistakes, he has been through this, and he will certainly do it again, for the sake of both him and Mike. He felt determined to settle things.
Bonnie optics were against the handlers, but in a way, he no longer dreaded it as much, it was so strange to think about. A couple of nights ago, he almost wanted to completely stop everything happening to his home. He understood now that his purpose went to live on, but he no longer didn't just want to do this for the sake of himself, but now he wanted to make sure the people in front of him survive as well, he wouldn't forgive himself if this wasn't the case. He felt something, he didn't know what it is, but he no longer feared it, he wanted to do this, go inside and do this. He didn't care.
All of them share the same feeling.
All of them took their final thoughts straight through the door, allowing access now to the insides of the discomfort.
The game begins.
The Trio was immediately greeted with the smell of leftover pizza, it was the kind you'd expect late at night when the pizza wasn't put away properly, Mike immediately knew something was up, the Janitor was supposedly clean that kind of smell out of here, so that was already strange. This as well happens another thought, the pizzeria was always on the low-budget side, the place screams it, however, this place almost looks more abandoned in a sense that the employees here no longer gave so much of a shit anymore. The tables were across the place, while the chairs were flipped over.
Jeremy was first to bring these thoughts to action, "T-This doesn't seem r-right," He begins conversation and observation, "I-It feels like a-all the employees just a-abandon ship and moves o-on...shouldn't there be...?"
Mike agrees ahead of Jeremy, "Yeah, it seems like everyone just forgot to do their job," Then Mike raises a finger, "Or, it could be that Fazfuck has done something to this place, no way something like this was just natural. He must have done something to have completely drove people away from here," Mike guesses.
Jeremy just gulps, "S-So does that mean that...h-he has gained more e-energy then?"
"Possibly. Either way, I got a huge bad feeling about it all. We just gotta get to the office."
Jeremy seemed the most comfortable with that idea and was already ahead of the rabbit and human, which both were taking their steps, though in Bonnie's case. His glass optics were moving across the stage rather than the direction where the humans were heading, and in catching him doing so, Mike as well stares, thinking similar to Bonnie in the fashion of a simple question...
What of the bear now?
Mike shouts, "Hold up, Jeremy!"
Jeremy stops dead on his tracks. When hearing the impact of his voice, he almost had no choice but to completely stare directly at Mike's direction, his face wasn't any better, he asks, "W-What?"
Mike points to the stage, "We gotta see Freddy."
Jeremy in his first second of hearing that idea, shouts, "N-NO! WE SHOULD N-NOT DO THAT! W-WE SHOULD GO INSIDE T-THE OFFICE!"
Mike had to yell back, "Come on Jeremy! We have to verify that the fucker is there if he ain't, then we have some big ass troubles before this ass of a game start, don't try to go to the office until we actually can see he is actually in there!"
"M-Mike, that's seriously a bad i-idea..."
Bonnie butts into the conversation, "We must. We have no choice, Freddy is many things, but he wouldn't outright cheat in his own game, he's twisted in that regard. We need to check he's there."
Jeremy wanted to argue further, but Mike rushes the tension, "We have five fucking minutes, we don't have time to be pussies. We gotta do this, come on," He said, almost in no hesitation he speed walks across the room, Bonnie follows suit. Jeremy was the most hesitant, but he thought what they said, they were right. He hated that they were right. He needed to follow shortly. He practically runs alongside the human and animatronic combo.
The Trio all looked at the curtains of the said stage, the curtains were always the same, always keeping that bright red color of being used for years, but as well as bright enough for kids to be fooled by. Mike was the first to had his hand over to the curtain, for some reason, his hand was shaking a little. He didn't know exactly why it was shaking, was it the fear? Was it because behind this curtain could be a fucking trap? It meant a lot of things. Mike felt more narrow to the curtain in front of him.
He had to.
He threw those curtains open, though not really 'open,' but enough to be considered anything, Mike and Bonnie both looked right at behind what was in store.
Both of them immediately put up faces when looking across to the other side of the curtain, on the other side of the curtain, it stood him. Him which has caused so much misery across their nights, him in that he caused so many disastrous events to occur of now and then.
None other than Mr. Bear him, Freddy Fazbear.
He was powered down, his head was completely downwards to the floor, acting as he had no kind of consciousness. The tension between the two separate positions grew, Mike himself had a face of disgust, his eyebrows furiously throwing themselves down to glare more at the bear, it took every instinct in his body not to just go after the bear right now and slice him, but all of them knew that simply wasn't possible as liked.
Bonnie's expression grows more worried looking at the powered down bear, in clear position to simply break down and fall to pieces. No more did the bunny want to just run, even if he wasn't as afraid anymore, it was still more of a scary thought to be in contact with the bear.
Mike was first to open his mouth, "So, Fazfuck. We're here as promised, we didn't run away, and I brought Jeremy with me. I have no literal idea why you would want him back," He took a heavy breath looking at that horrible face of Freddys, it just motivates him to get angry, "It just shows how fucking awful you are as a supposed to be entertainer. I want to survive, but I also want to fucking murder you for what you have done."
He expected nothing, and that's what he gets, nothing in response. The bear simply still stares down.
He points directly towards himself, "It doesn't mean shit at the end. When this night is over, I have something to prove, that I can survive through this bullshit, because you know what? No matter what, I can survive what's thrown at me, I may be stubborn for this...
"But whos to say someone else would be stupid to have this be a game and not have finished me off by now?"
As expected, nothing. Fine by him, he didn't care so much what he thought. All his emotions come afterward, "I'll just say this after we leave...
"You pissed me off."
He then turns himself away from the curtains, Jeremy and Bonnie follow suit. The trio was to head right towards the office.
The walk felt almost too quiet, Bonnie himself was looking away, Jeremy was doing the same. Mike himself wasn't quiet about it. They all share their thoughts when seeing the sight of the office, but it was shortly interrupted with Bonnie tapping the human's shoulder.
Their eyes meet, their literal minds connected to one and another when even glancing into each other sight of vision. Mike's particularly was something else Bonnie couldn't describe at all. He never saw it before, but he could see the sheer flames that were holding right inside the human. He could go inside Mike's eyes and never return, it was that deep. Any kind doubt would vanish, he never had any, but any future kind would be out of the question.
The animatronic almost forgot why he even came near the human.
He moves his mouth again, "Mike, may I ask what that was all about?"
It was a moment of silence as Mike simply stares at the bunny, his brown eyes were a coast of warmth and determination, clearly in thought that Bonnie would love to get into. After a while, he responds, "...It's just normally what I want to say before the fuckery of night begins, you know, like yesterday and all that."
He understood that, but it wasn't exactly what he was talking about, "More than that."
"Huh?"
"I'm talking about that last line, what you mean by that?"
"I mean...its kinda obvious, right?"
"...Sure, but like, do you mean by...?"
"Him."
"...Him?"
"His literal existence."
They both looked at each other eyes, In a glance, the current nightguard looks back at the office again, "We should head in, this shit is gonna begin too anyway, don't want a bear fucking me to death," He goes on to mumble and walk forward.
Bonnie would think a lot of what Mike has said before ultimately walking right behind him, Jeremy himself follows suit.
The trio entered the stuffy office, the office was almost quite literally as left last night, furthering prove that no work was done around here. Mike stares at where the chair was flung off and used last night, and picks it up, and places it on legs. He sits right on it like he would any other night. Jeremy would go back to sitting on the floor once again, not that he minded, Bonnie himself puts his butt onto the floor, the three of them were getting comfortable once again, though that comfort wouldn't last long.
Mike was getting his tablet, the one that he relies on a lot, and opens up the cameras, showcasing the stage, the stage was almost a little empty without Bonnie over there, but it was for the better, he didn't want the only reasonable animatronic around here to be fucking around with those other ones. He stares at them more before flipping his camera over to Pirates Cove. The Cove looked rather quite empty, the curtains were closed, but the sign surprisedly wasn't there anymore. Maybe the pirate didn't even want to look at it anymore.
He looks back at Bonnie, who was still deep inside his thoughts, he hasn't gotten a lot of good conversations out of the bunny, he thought to make one last small one before this shit of night begins.
Mike crawls his chair over, the creeks of the below were made, and he scrolls the chair to say, "Hey...uh, your gonna be alright?"
Mike almost wanted to slap his head over that question, of fucking course not he won't be, what the hell was he thinking? The rabbit was going through some damn trauma, so he wasn't going to feel as well as he would want. Mike hisses while he stares directly at the bunny for a clear answer, which the bunny responds with a stare of his.
The purple animatronic optics shiver to themselves, his head had more of a downwards position, it was almost as he was trying to say something, but he couldn't outright speak it. It was like back at the previous restaurant, it hurts.
After a good long while, the bunny spoke, "...I don't know."
He doesn't know? Well, it was understandable, this night was gonna become unpredictable. For all he knew, they would be sent to hell where they would have to fight a few thousand animatronics like Freddy, as crazy as it sounds, it outright feels realistic with how the stakes were.
Hmph.
He goes to leave him alone, he needs to think it through, and hopefully, he does when they inevitably get into trouble.
11:59.
It was almost time.
"Well, anyone has any last prayers before everything goes downhill?"
Bonnie looks a little upward and shook his head. Jeremy shook his head as well, seems both weren't in the mood to talk anymore. He could feel it, the dread was getting to them, and would make it a more negative mood, he'd at least wish they talk a little more.
Well, let hell begin.
The lights turned off.
~Shift~
When the lights completely turn themselves off, the pizzeria's aura grows never more so dark, the animatronics sprung right to life, Chica first was giving herself a little sense, a reminder. Her optics had a small glow but were shortly removed with cold. Her optics moved across the room, it was the same as always, the old tables, the old seating. It was all awful, everything screams ruins, though she didn't feel much when it came to that matter, all she cared more was what was to the right of her. The animatronic leader of this fun game.
Freddy. He was everything to her.
Chica would look towards the animatronic bear with glee, even if she doesn't truly feel that. She would want to do so much to those damn endos. Those endos have been such a pain last night, the night being of just back and forth struggling, she wanted to do what she can in power to get back the Bonnie she knew, not the coward of a traitor. She almost wanted to step out of the stage, her fake talons moved forward, the sounds of them creeping on the floor was a little too amusing to the man-made earholes she had.
It was then signaled for her to stop, she would stop quite quickly. Her optics moved back to the stage, her sound didn't hear things, that was a literal signal coming from the very bear who started it all. She wouldn't expect it coming from him, she would stare at the still knocked out bear for a good long while, just wondering what was needed coming from her master.
Was it false?
She wouldn't know. Maybe she was hearing something.
The craving grows bigger, she walks closer to where the office was, knocking a few standing up chairs along the way, her steps would echo more than they really should. The said talons were creek more. She comes near the right Hallway to her vision, she wouldn't care so much of standing so still anymore.
It was until a voice was heard, "Aye, Th' chicken has already come t' play so fast?" It was him again, the rocky voice was something she simply could never mistake.
It felt like forever, her voice felt tainted, "The Fox come out already? Of course, you did," She would counterpoint back.
The fox wouldn't seem so much into the mood to be talking back, "Seems that stinky attitude of yas have never changed, but whatever. The endos here, ya?"
"Course they are, endos been bad. They need dying to do..."
"Grr, it'd help to speak clearer English, dear chicken. It's hard enough to understand you with that awful voice of ya, but as well as broken use of it? Quite awful."
The chicken took offense, "Get endos more! Less arguing! Want to kill them!"
The Fox optics would grow more fierce, agreeing, "Aye, was hopin' ye say somethin' like that..." The Fox would go on, "I'd scrap them to my plank and me hook, as likely with that traitorous bunny as well."
"Agreed! That bunny has been awful! Bunny gonna get hurt!"
"Could o' nah agree more," Foxy goes on, before then bringing himself out of the pirate's cove.
The same time those two animatronics feet left the Pirates Cove area, Freddy still stiff would shift every once and a while, he would flicker and twitch, he was never asleep, but he was stiff. He was still in the other realm, his thoughts were on the other side, they were nowhere near where they should be. Easily could he be attacked and not much can be done about it, yet, he was so incredibly lucky for those stupider than him to catch the drift.
He would remain still for at least, a while, he was working, he was working on something powerful. He would need more focus and remain still, but that wasn't a problem, by the time those stupid humans would notice...
They were in for it.
He trusted his minions.
He knew their plan, and he couldn't agree more with it.
Let's hope it buys enough time.
~Back~
Mike stares right at the phone, the phone was still hanging and left where Jeremy jump scared himself to death, which of course wasn't out of his system. He was shaking looking at it, and both of them were staring right at it. Bonnie himself was more worried about the doors than the phone.
Mike goes to start the little conversation, "So...shouldn't there be a phone call by now?"
Jeremy would respond by a more feared stare, then a voice, "H-He's dead, Mike. T-That phone call, it killed him..."
Mike would stare back at Jeremy in response, "I mean, yeah, he's dead, but I thought another guy would have taken his place as phone caller or something by now."
"T-That's not how it works around here Mike, o-once a phone caller dies, so d-d-does the messages..."
"I mean, that's a little entitled right there, surely they must have another call or something."
"M-Mike, please, can we please just put that p-phone away...i-it's bothering me."
Mike thought of it, before sighing, he was probably right, there wouldn't be any phone calls, probably, even if there was one, he wouldn't be so sure if it'll be-
The phone rings.
The gang looked right directly at the phone, clearly not believing the phone is ringing. The phone was harshing bouncing a little against the desk it was on. Jeremy himself was quite terrified, he was jumping quite literally to the sound, Bonnie himself was completely unsure, and Mike simply expresses nothing.
Yet, was this what he was just thinking, or...?
Mike went to stare back at the human and bunny, both of them were just expressing something different, Jeremy was completely in decline, and almost was saying by motions to completely shut down the call. He didn't want anything to do with it, Bonnie himself expresses more of the doors, but was as equally concerned. The current Nightguards curiosity was never higher, he wanted nothing more than to hang up, he knew this could for all he knew a trick. A trick which could do whatever shit that bear's been pulling.
He would do whats the opposite for Jeremy's demand and to ring it up, he picks up the phone and answers.
"M-Mike! W-Why!" Jeremy yells immediately, clearly not understanding Mike's action.
The brunette puts a hand as a blockage, clearly meaning to shut Jeremy up until he lowers it down, he looks at Jeremy again, "What's the damage? Just gonna be some bullshit message or something."
"B-But what if it was a trick or something? W-What if that phone c-could of c-controlled you and k-killed us all-?"
"Hehehe...oh jeez, Jeremy. You're sounding like me during my third night here, ironic."
"Cut it, M-Mike! T-This is still dangerous!"
Bonnie stood up to the duo humans, "He's right, Mike. For all we know, it could have been a trap."
Mike spits, "You both need to stop teaming up on me. It's fine, it's just gonna be some random ass call-"
Then, the Beeb rings into their ears, and their attention sprung a bit to the phone, and their attention goes to it, despite their concerns, it would be worth investing some time in the phone, with both optics and eyes staring at it, it was only silence.
Mike spits too early, "See? Told ya, wasn't gonna be anything-"
The phone loudly statics itself, and then the nightguard stopped his chatter to look,
Static screaming that sounded so much like the animatronics after that, before it hangs up.
Everyone was completely silent after that, Mike's face was completely drawn out, his facial features were completely stiff, he was trying to process anything that just happened. Jeremy's face completely drops, his jaw was maxed out wide. He couldn't believe anything coming out of that phone, his face colors completely washed, his hands trembled. Bonnie's expression was completely wide, but for completely different reason unlike the other two.
What the fuck just happened?
It was like this for a few more seconds before Mike recovers, and asks what was going on in the trio's minds, "What the fuck was that?"
Bonnie would immediately answer, "Freddy."
"The bear? Was that him? You could understand that?"
The rabbit nods, "Everything...its...I can't believe it."
"Can you translate for us? What does it say?" Mike's excitement grew a little, despite what just happened.
Bonnie looked directly at Mike, "I'm...not sure if I can..."
"Come on, no more secrets. What the hell has Fazbear just said to us? Did he say anything about how we'll not survive or something?"
"...Something different," He responds, his fingers cutting themselves with the edge, "Please...can...can we leave that out?"
Mike more so wanted to pressure for more, but deep down, he wouldn't want that to happen, and he sighs, "...Yeah, sure, okay. Maybe when all this is over? You know, if I can survive this?"
Bonnie seems upbeat with that attitude, "I think that's a plan. I do want this to go out nicely."
The human chuckles, "Hope so too."
They both share a more determined face and a happy one at that. They both were glad for their presence right now, instead of being so far away from each other. Mike himself felt something inside his heart in so long when looking at the cute face of the bunny, despite being animatronic, he manages to find it cute that the bunny was looking so happy over this bond. He thought of something for a moment, but he would scrap it off, he just continues to look at the rabbit.
Jeremy himself was examining the scene beforehand, clearly a little confused over what was going on between the two of them, both when looking a little closer, he could see something in the bunny's eye. The eye of the bunny was burning itself with passion. Clearly, in a likable position, it didn't take too long for Jeremy to realize much more what this meant, and he flustered over the thought just by looking at them.
They couldn't be...?
He didn't want to interrupt.
...Except he heard some noise.
He responds to this immediately, "M-Mike! I-I feel we got company!"
The human and bunny combo both looked directly at the other human, who was frightened. In response to this, Mike would ruin any process he had at that moment to focus right back on the cameras, he would pick up the forgotten tablet and investigate it. Bonnie would look a little lost in that moment, and in a way, he almost felt frustrated it was ruined. On the other hand, he would remember where he was.
He truly was the worst scum out there.
He puts his artificial mind to rest, nows not the time. It was time to go back on track with this night.
It all begins.
The only nightguard in control of the cameras was fastly going through the cameras as fast and rapidly as he could, trying to find any trace of the claimed noise. It almost quite slipped his mind that the time has begun. He runs his fingers hard on the screen. Making sure his firm touch hits the screen. His eyes looked across the screen throughout all the rooms.
He found one.
The chicken.
The chicken was looking directly at the camera, in a completely different position. Her head twitches little by little, a small detail he never realized. The camera's vision was limited, he could exactly what kind of twitching it was.
The camera was quick to pull out its stupid static. Meaning that she moved. She would probably move right near the right hallway.
Mike flipped his cameras directly towards the predicted hallway and expected at least a hint of the chicken's presence. When flipping through the cameras, he would find that there wasn't much captive footage of her or at least anything at all. He almost felt off about it, she would normally a lot easier to see than this. He glares to look for any details of her location. Even for mere minutes, he wouldn't find traces of her.
He calms himself down over these thoughts, he was being impatient is all.
...
He thought about it a little.
He closed his tablet and looked out the doors, Bonnie sees this concern, he didn't speak anything, nor did Jeremy, they both were sitting and watching the only nightguard doing his work. It seems the Nightguard was having small bits of frustration under his belt, clearly of course keeping track of their somewhat predictable movements, yet, he did have a bad feeling, after all, this was the very first night he hasn't listen to anything Freddy has said.
For all he knew, the plan has become different.
Mike stares at the door where Jeremy was, he asks one simple favor, "...Turn those lights on."
He didn't need to be asked twice. His friend does as he commands, his paw hovering quite close to the more grayed out button. His eyes were mostly focused on any kind of movement that would happen, he would stare harshly at the darkness.
The light reveals anything that was in the camera's blind spot.
...Nothing.
...He was just being crazy, he knew he was probably going nutty over it, but he couldn't get himself over it. He sighs before turning his head to the opposite direction, he doubted it, but somehow, something was up, he knew it.
He asked his bunny friend next, "...Turn on the light on that one."
Bonnie looked in concern, but like Jeremy, no questions. Only actions. It was better that way. He would do the same as Jeremy and hesitate to press the button, but it was a little faster paced. Mike's glare was loosening.
When the light reveals what was to their left...
The chicken. She was staring right at the left door of the door, and immediately in a quick reaction, Jeremy would be in first to yell out the obvious, "AHH! BONNIE!"
"On it! On it!" His rabbit friend responses back, he hits quite hard on the 'Door' button, and in a flash, a hard cold door slams right down to the trio's vision, the door lets out a heavy slam. In a quick breather, all three survivors would take a breath, all sharing in the same room. Jeremy's was the highest, Bonnie's the lowest. Mike himself was simply, confused.
"W-Why the fuck was she at the left door? She has always taken the right door to take me down, that's..." Mike's brain hurts to the thoughts, clearly thinking critically about what has happened.
Then all heard a virus kind of laugh from behind the left door. The chicken was laughing. Chica's laughter was against the wall, where the sound was supposed to be more muted, yet, her laughter was almost quite the same. The Trio's eyesight were all staring directly at the shadow that can be seen. They all had in common of one thing...
Something wasn't right.
The said chicken would proceed laugh once more, though finally, she would whisper harshly, "You won't survive now. Not predictable now. Will kill."
Her English got even worse almost like in effect, this 'parasite' really was taking over her mind, and it was only getting worse. Mike stares at the chicken more before then she turns herself away to leave. Mike himself wasn't so convinced about the sudden disappearance. However, his curiosity got the better and says, "Open the door."
Bonnie himself wasn't doubting anything, he does as told to release the door, therefore, releasing power usage, as the thought of his was correct. Nowhere in sight, she was. The humans would sigh and continue on business.
Shortly of this, however, footsteps emerge to all their ears, the sounds become scary with Mike looking left and right, before realizing...
"No way! He couldn't be out this early," Mike shouts, clearing in an understanding of those footsteps, "CLOSE THE FUCKING DOOR, BONNIE!"
Bonnie would do so immediately, and from doing that, the footsteps would instead of running to the door, it comes to a complete stop. It was if he had learned a little from his mistakes. The nightguards heard the footsteps then taking their steps back, easily fed off, and no power was drained!
He felt relief take over him, he would bring out his tablet again...
Only to find a running fox turn direction to instead of his cove and to the other direction...
Mike barely had breathing space and time as he shouts right towards Jeremy, "SHUT THAT DOOR, JEREMY!"
Jeremy looks right directly at Mike, and questioning was going on in his mind, but he would hear the hard footsteps too and he as quickly would jump himself to the 'Door' button and slam it shut.
This time, harsh banging occurs.
The humans had their hearts beating louder to the deadly sound, Jeremy's colors drain out of his face looking right at that door, his own hands shook hard. He had no enjoyment hearing all that torture come his way. Even by simply sound, he was in complete stress.
The sound of the rocky voice comes into their ears, "Nah bad reaction time, I must say. Though, nah quite th' fastest either, it makes fer a good warm-up," The fox was so harsh to the ears.
The survivors inside the room would all share a similar feeling, and just glare directly towards the Fox, interestingly, Jeremy would be the first to shout, "T-This is unfair! Your n-now suddenly changing p-patterns because of Bonnie no longer o-on your side?"
It was easy to ignore the question and pretend the human didn't exist, though Foxy would lighten' the human's curiosity, "You see, its th' night where ye endos get that wee pork o' prize, right? Th' bunny be no concern t' us, I 'ave ye know that we 'ave our route planned afore all this, let me tell ye, yer only seein' a taste..."
Mike himself would glare harder than the other two, he almost growls, "Bastard. You know that I was going down with your patterns, and you're now changing it to mess me up. You want all of us to be caught off guard."
"Ye're correct thar, endo. I won't lie if we did th' borin' stuff our master has been askin' us t' do, fer sure it'd be so borin' even ye would fall asleep. Don't worry, we be makin' this excitin'."
Mike would want to curse off that dumbass Fox, though long before short he would runoff, and the footsteps echoed all together, Jeremy himself was still so scared to open the door, he would only keep to himself.
"Open that door," Mike said, plain and simple.
Jeremy glances at his friend, "But Mike..."
Mike glances harder at his friend, "Do it!"
Jeremy wouldn't make the same mistake and quite literally jumps himself to the 'Door' button. With the door open, he turns his head and was gonna say the same, "Do the same, Bon-"
Then, without anyone notice, a small sound creaks. This would cause Mike to completely hold still, the sound was small, but it was quite loud enough for Mike to suddenly be suspicious about this. He glances at the door again, which the bunny would begin to open up.
He made a choice, "Hold up. Keep that door shut."
Bonnie glances right at Mike again with a wiry optic on his face, "...You heard that too?" He would go on, clearly in agreement over something.
He nods. He checks the camera and right towards the corner of the hall where the door was closed. It showed nothing, but the nightguard knew better, with good telling, he could see the faint shadow that was the corner of the doorway.
A shadow...
That was the chicken.
Mike was gonna keep that door closed.
He glances more directly towards the door, "Knew it. That fucking chicken was gonna try and give us the slip. She thought that we were stupid..."
The rabbit didn't quite answer, but he would be in agreement and Mike was about to continue as usual.
It was then the sound of another door shutting occurs, slamming in sound to alert the one who controls the cameras. Mike snaps his neck towards Jeremy's direction, who had a very scared, but determined face.
The cowardly human points, "The chicken..."
What?
The brunette wastes no time to check up what Jeremy meant by 'chicken' by looking at the dent of darkness that the window seals out, Mike stares at it, then with only a little hesitation, he would hover his hand directly towards the button.
With a single click, the button would visualize a chicken that's jaw was wide open and in reaction, Mike pulls up a more frightening face seeing as quite mere seconds the chicken would have gotten in, and if it weren't for Jeremy's reflexes, they would of...
Literal probs to his only human friend, Mike stares at Jeremy, as if he was a savor, Jeremy blushes hard at the invisible compliment.
"...That chicken did try to give up the slip...holy shit..." Mike was a little dumbfounded on that, he was almost bamboozled by a mere shadow, he goes back to his seat to check the cameras, "They're really are giving it they're all, and that fucking bear still hasn't come out!" He points out.
Bonnie and Jeremy both shared a face, clearly sharing as well the same emotion, they both thought the same, the night was as unpredictable as it can get. It almost would feel impossible to get down their patterns. Mike himself goes back to focus on the camera to go on to check Pirates Cove, the cove looked empty still, meaning the fox was still out, he looks towards the corner camera, and he still saw a shadow, he puts one and one...
The fucking Fox was camping the door, are they cheating now?
...Cheating. He wouldn't think he'd describe this situation as 'Cheating.'
Feels so incredibly frustrating to feel to refer to that.
Mike almost felt himself grow heat, he almost felt he wanted to explode again, they're bending their own rules. They're bending they're rules over the fact they want to get him, the same rules that were completely against him, and the mere fact that they now bend due to one simple factor...
Bonnie, Bonnie in his own office.
He wanted to fucking kill them over this, what the fuck was that bear's problem!
Jeremy would immediately notice the signs of an angry Mike. In reaction, he would come near his friend's shoulder, he has seen this before. Back when they were younger, when Mike had more problems than he did now, admittedly. Mike would grow frustrated whenever not being able to outsmart the opponent in a simple game of gambling. Jeremy himself had to courage the brunette. Having to calm him down and not lose his crap over a single game, in times, he would not be able to control himself so well and would make rather not so great decisions.
However, he knew that Mike had intentions, every time he was angry, he was frustrated over something he simply couldn't understand. It was always more of a childish move under his belt, but sometimes, it felt intentional, he would let it all out, all until he felt better.
The bunny, however, didn't look to catch on as fast as Jeremy with how concern he looked and was gonna say something, but Jeremy in time stops that from happening.
They both stare at one and another, Jeremy gives his message through his own eyes telling Bonnie what to do, and with some motions, he moves his hand around Mike, not touching him, moving around. After that, he shook his head.
Nevertheless, the animatronic looked in concern still.
They would all continue to be quiet before Mike sighs, "Its just bull, fucking, shit."
They stay silent.
"It's so fucking bullshit that they're gonna pull up with all this shit after Bonnie came over to us. What a fucking great leader that bear makes. Actually no, the family of the year right there! How amazing, the bear wants to play a game, cool! He wants to kill me, and possibly Jeremy, double cool! He also wants to get Bonnie under his control, super cool! You know what, cool, it's so cool he's doing all this! You know what, Shitbear? You're doing great! You're doing great...
"...BEING THE WORST FUCKING CREATURE I COULD EVER KNOW!"
"Mike, calm down, please..." Bonnie broke out of it, and the older human would slap his head the bunny didn't get the full message after all and was going against the order.
For a moment, Mike did almost exactly what Bonnie asked of him. He goes silent, and for a moment, he moves his head downwards, he had his hands downwards on the table. Jeremy felt worried, he wanted to confront too, "M-Mike...I hate to be a librarian...b-but Bonnie's r-right...you h-have to calm down...t-t-they want you t-to do t-this. T-They wants you to get sick o-of them, they w-want to mess with you..."
He remains silent still.
Bonnie continues, "...Its true Mike, I know this strategy. Whenever a nightguard like you would begin to make it difficult to let us in, we would begin to frustrate the nightguard. When the night continues to progress, we would annoy him more and more...until eventually, he becomes blinded with rage, we take our swipe in...it's...not the best choice of actions, but its a resort we intend to use whenever we absolute."
Before the purple rabbit could continue, the calming down human rose a hand, "...How you know that?" He responds finally, his eyes were a little empty.
Bonnie glances at his only human friend with curiosity, "What do you mean, Mike?"
Mike then springs his head, "Think about it, these damn controlled animatronics are going at this all a sudden, they're all bitches for what they're doing, but, I got a theory going. Scratch that, its something blatantly they want. Feels like they want you, Bonnie."
The rabbit looked surprised, before tilting his head, "Of course they would want me, I am supposed to..."
"According to the bear."
Jeremy stares at Mike, "W-What are you on about, Mike?"
"They want Bonnie, they want him because he has something that none of them have, they're going down the deep end because of Bonnie's absence. They aren't going berserk simply because of the resort. No, its something else now. Fazfuck over there wants you, Bonnie," He points at him, "Freddy has a specific reason for wanting you to stay around, sure, he practically kicked you out last night, but the point is besides that, something is going on now. They want me, of course, they do, but no, that's not they're targeting so much anymore. No, for some reason, they're resorting to such measures for you."
The rabbit had no words to this and would hold a paw towards his chest, and looked down, he would stare at it more, while Jeremy asked, "W-Why? W-Why would they want him so b-badly after t-treating him so a-awfully?"
Mike shook his head, "I'm not sure, for whatever reason, they're complete hypocrites towards their actions. I still would have no idea what's going through their heads, but now, I know whats clear of their goals..." He also settles down his tablet, "...I would also understand their patterns a little more."
Jeremy looked at his friend crazy, the nightguard going through his cameras, the cowardly human wouldn't, of course, let this question go, "W-What do you m-mean by that, Mike? T-They're unpredictable..."
"That's what they want you to think, I know this type of bullshit."
For whatever reason, this has become even more confusing.
Mike would go through the cameras and in a glance, he saw the head of the chicken through the restaurant dining room. He had a confident grin under his chin, Jeremy doesn't understand rightfully when looking through his friend's eyes. Seeing as it was just a chicken.
Mike then throws his hand over to Bonnie, "Shut that damn right door."
Bonnie looked confused and looked out, "Really? Did you..."
"Do it," he responds hard to the question.
The bunny responds towards this with a single press of the button and for a moment, Mike stares at the door as much as the other two, all three of them stare. Two which were confusion, one of peer determination.
It was then a loud bang was heard from the other side of the door, the heads of Mike's friends snapped to the direction of such a loud bang. Jeremy's particular was in amazement then frightened, he would go back to Mike's earlier statements towards this. Mike has predicted a movement they were gonna do.
He couldn't help it, "...H-How?!"
Mike moves a hand right at Jeremy's face, "Careful, you wouldn't want the Chicken to hear us, or even get in, close the door."
Jeremy without a second thought would shut the door, pressing hard on the button, and the moment he did, he heard yet, another loud bang through that door. The bang was loud enough to vibrate sound waves towards the gang. The bangs continued until eventually, they would begin to lower by themselves. Obviously by the will power of it lowering, until the chicken realized how much time she was wasting before heading off with her banging.
Mike nods, "Right...and she's gonna try and come back and do the opposite now, she's gonna try and-"
Jeremy interrupts, "S-Sorry Mike, b-but how did you know that c-chicken was gonna b-be there...?"
Mike looked annoyed for a second over the question, and for a moment, he wanted to go on with his business and continue to try and survive this, but he did feel like he didn't want to leave Jeremy out of the dark, if he did, that would not be a very wise move, what if something happened?
He would take his chances and directly made eye contact with his friend, "It's a little bit with the mind tricks they want you to go through, it's like you said, they are unpredictable. Their patterns won't be the same after the last one, so that, I cannot predict...
"What I can predict, however, is their flawed movement."
Jeremy didn't quite understand that Bonnie himself glances at his human friend with some question, "M-Movement?"
"Movement, yay, Bonnie himself is scared, he doesn't know where they are gonna attack, and due to this, he's limited to find the current position of them, he can't be that useful out there at the moment. This implies to them as well, when I was talking about all that junk with their motives, I realized something...
"'If Bonnie's scared, what about the other animatronics?'"
Jeremy thought about it for a moment, 'T-They're...m-mad...I guess. M-Mad over his b-betrayal..."
Mike points directly at the darkness, "They're mad, and when you get mad, when do I intend to do..."
His cowardly friend was beginning to form a picture inside his head, "U-Uhhh, well, b-become blinder...you...w-wait...are you implying...?"
The brunette would nod in confirmation, "Correct. I think so anyway, these animatronics, while they have...parasites, they become truer, that makes their feelings, however, more fatal, I think that there's a weakness now..."
Bonnie then interrupts, "Mike that's not correct when I was a parasite, I didn't feel anything at all. I felt I could only serve my 'Master,' and that was Freddy. I'm not sure what you're implying..."
"I already learned that. That's not what I meant, they don't feel anything, but that doesn't mean they aren't capable of doing so. Remember Bonnie? Even back then, you were angry and rude to me, that made you blinder, I was able to escape due to this and somehow clutch it..."
"But that was because of Mangles..."
"I know that, but I got a theory, that Mechanical Degree coming to the rescue right now," Mike puts his mind to it, thinking where he was going with this, "What I mean is that because you so entirely focused on us that night, you made your sounds vulnerable, and this lead to that Mangle sound taking you over, because of that, we managed out nicely. It was pure damn luck at the time...
"But now I know how to take that into an advantage, they're awful to sound, and with that...I can predict everything they're gonna do!" He shouts as he pushes one of the doors, and immediately, the sounds of an animatronic screech made into their ears before it was shut down.
All of them stare before Mike smirks, "That's how we're gonna beat this."
Jeremy was just so amazed, he always knew Mike had a bit of good observation, but this takes it to the next level! It was like he has gone through college to gain all this knowledge within' one night. He was like a completely different person compared to his earlier self.
Did one trip to the old place change him?
He didn't know if he should ask.
The trio would begin to strike down anything they would come down with, with this new knowledge, they were beginning to dominate the animatronics patterns, Mike was predicting everything they would do due to their lack of care in movement, Jeremy would be careful with the doors, but with the mentioned careless sounds, he was able to see them coming as well. Bonnie became extremely useful after that, with this, he has become more clear and was told exactly where they were. They were dominating their unpredictability.
To the animatronics, they were becoming frustrated.
It would soon reach at 1 A.M.
~Shift~
Laughably, it looked like they didn't stand so much of a chance anymore, Foxy and Chica both were both more and more growing aggressive to the constant bickering between the trio, Bonnie himself was the most annoying, despite his more cowardly appearance, he would be the opposite of useless. They all worked directly as a team, the more scared endo would be alert of the both of them, and there was the one who they wanted to stuff so badly. The one they can reference as, 'Mike.' This Mike person has been nothing but a pain to their asses ever since they have awakened. They knew he was smart, he was smart over how to get away from them for so long, yet, for Chicas case, it was growing ever so frustrated how somehow it was figuring it all out now.
Eventually, they both would meet up in a camera blindspot, and complain, the chicken was first, "How the hell we gonna get Endo?"
The Fox growls, "Beats me, ye chicken! All I 'ave been bein' jus' tryin' t' go in random directions, thought that be good enough, but even they be predictin' that, damn bunny..." the pirate would glare in direction of the office.
"Then how-?"
Then, in an immediate call, they felt a certain flow of energy come their way, the chickens and foxes feet shook before them. Both of them completely get distracted by this new wave of energy, the chicken mostly holds against the wall, it was an incredible flow of energy, some they seldom felt before. Both of them were in almost denial over such a wave.
Though where they witness where the energy was coming from, all those thoughts would vanish before their eyes. They both bow...
"Master! Master!"
"Captain, ye finally came around, aft all, it loot ye long enough!"
In a flash, a certain animatronic comes in front of them, his stance was straight, completely flawless. In no way could a mistake be made in that pattern, with each step comes to a new force of the wind blowing.
The individual's voice wasn't simply there.
However, both of them were beginning to nod, almost as if they were being spoken too, almost in understanding...
Then, the same twisted smile comes to be on the animatronic's face, and so do the chicken and foxes.
All of a sudden, they were no longer aggressive towards the endos.
The animatronic's smile was so wide.
It was over for them.
~Shift back~
The Trio's eyes were all against the clock, the moment that clock read, '1:09' A.M., they felt more suspicious about this than ever. Mike himself was checking all the cameras more frequently to see if there was any sign of the said animatronics anymore. It almost felt like they completely gave up on the idea to try and get them. Jeremy himself was becoming more and more paranoid over the lack of them, he was investing ideas into his brain and coming up with stories to think of what they could be doing.
All they could do is wait.
"I-I don't like this..." Jeremy complains to the lack of anything to those two animatronics, he stares out the door a little for any sign, in case of anything.
Bonnie agrees, "I'm not sure what's going on with them, they could be planning."
"I-I think so too, they m-must know w-we know their strategy now...so a-are they gonna try s-something else now...?"
"I'm not sure, I don't know how much more I can take trying to think about it, maybe it's safer to assume they're gonna make another move right now..."
"A-Absolutely. I think that their g-gonna try and c-catch us off guard...i-it makes sense, they want u-us to feel like w-we stand a chance...and..."
The rabbit thought about it a little, "Well, it could also mean that they need some time to think about it, after all, it didn't seem like they had some kind of plan, those parasites don't think ahead, it's scary..." He thought to himself the same kind of situation.
Mike listened to their conversation, but he also moves his hearing towards the halls, he wasn't so exactly keen over those ideas, they either could be right or wrong. Regardless, he felt he was under pressure once more. He felt the tension slipping under his chin, he felt like he was gonna get trapped any second. It was a horrible feeling, he wasn't so exactly sure how to feel at the moment.
He would refuse to feel any more of that anxiety.
He calms himself down to try and focus on the matter in front of him, he looks at the cameras some more, with each flicker from his finger, would be a little more paranoia, despite what he told to himself earlier.
He flickers to another camera to find the chicken coming down.
"M-Mike, shes-"
"I know, be close to that right door, be sure if she does anything fishy, we're gonna be steps ahead of her."
Bonnie nods while comes close to the exact door where she was coming from, and when hearing her lousy footsteps, he closes the door easily. The rabbit's ear flicker left and right her coming. It almost sounded like she was drunk with how she was handling her footsteps.
She had a more sadistic expression on her.
They all remain calm to her presence while she stares with the most soulless eyes she could ever offer. Mike himself stares harder than Jeremy and Bonnie combined. He was definitely on the edge of the things and was making sure nothing was gonna happen, he was looking at every single movement she did.
She spoke, "Why?"
...Why?
Jeremy was quick to his mouth to answer, "W-Why?"
"Why resist?" She asks again.
"B-Because you want t-to kill us..."
"N-No, we fix you. We help you."
Jeremy disagrees with that idea, "T-That's n-not happening...w-what you want anyway?" At least he was to the point.
The chicken begins to look angry, "I want help!"
"...H-Help?" He repeats what the animatronic asks.
She nods, "Yes, I...been acting. I've...been getting control again. I've been being me again. M-Freddy needs to stop, you gotta help us..."
Mike and Jeremy both look incredibly unamused and stare at one and another, Mike words it, "So what your trying to say is that you've magically been getting out of control of Freddys and need our help?"
"Yes! You got!"
"...Then ask me this, how come Foxy was about to come from my other door just now?" Mike asked sarcastically while then the door of shutting rings into everyone's ears in the room, including the chickens.
The chicken would begin to look more surprised, which was a mistake on her part, she tries to convince them all, "Uhhh, Foxy there suddenly!"
"Okay, let's just cut the bullshit. You're a worse actor than those cheesy romance movies, come the fuck on."
"But Chica I am!"
"Seriously? Fucking hell, you gotta be stupid as well, seems Fazfuck even removes intelligence inside your own brain...or chip or whatever," He then stands up from where he was and walks towards Chica, "Your dumb, first of all, anyone under Freddy's control would of still be under his control, Bonnie didn't just get out of his control just because he could, I had to have help from...I think it's Goldier or something-"
"G-Goldie..." Jeremy interrupts.
"Whatever! Second of all, are you even listening to yourself? Your grammar is more broken than a few nights ago when we were talking weird. Point is, you ain't fooling any of us."
The chicken was quiet for a moment as if she was found out. She wouldn't have a single word she wanted to say, she looks down while Mike was still staring at her, he had a small smirk, but it wasn't anything for him to completely be confident about.
She then begins to laugh again, and for a moment, Mike was completely on guard again. He was ready for anything this chicken was about to whip out, ready to any trick she was about to do, he trained his brain at this point.
Suddenly, the very room would begin to shake, all three of them stood guard, Jeremy looked more frightened than the two of them, Bonnie's face grew completely serious looking around the room. Mike's was the same, both of them were prepared for anything to come...
Except, what they prepare for wasn't anything...
It all happens for a second.
The forces of their bodies begin to feel pressured, Mike, felt like his body begins to feel forced, it was like it was making himself feel like a magnet, a magnet being forced towards the nearest fridge. Though the comparison isn't very good when he then was flung to the other side of the room, he felt his spine cracked to the sheer force of the push. Bonnie and Jeremy both as well were flung, which made them all piled up towards the end of the room, Mike growled when feeling his spine breaking more and more, whatever just shoved him to the other side of the room completely did something to his back...
He was weirded out, however, "What the fuck was that?!" He shouts.
Bonnie himself for some reason looked terrified, Jeremy was the same, and he almost splutters out, "G-Goldie..."
Mike himself didn't understand why he would bring up Goldie in a time like this, however, the more he thought about it, his eyes then widen imagining what he meant by that, and he could only look left and right from what he was about to witness...
Golden essence begins to enter the room, the rooms fan was shaking like fire, and the monitors' screens cracked. For whatever energy was entering, all of them have already realized what was about to happen.
Goldie would then appeared in front of them, unlike the other animatronics, Goldie's appearance was a little different. His golden fur would be tainted in a way that was practically not his, his eye lights would not be the standard white, but a harsh cold blue. The blue was an indication...
Bonnie himself wanted to oil himself, Freddy has fully gotten his brother in control.
Are they even gonna survive anymore?
The golden bear speaks, "To think that you three have been causing these two so much trouble, yet, as distracted as you all were. I have come in here seconds than those friends of my Master. It's no matter, you have all made a grand mistake," The tall animatronic floats where the trio was, his blue eye lights glow brightly, "That's having that animatronic be here instead of where Master would have fixed him."
The trio couldn't do anything else but watch as, by the slap of a paw, the doors slammed completely open, and the animatronics that has been so desperately wanting to get in finally do, and they all shared the same expression. Bonnie's first reaction was to try and stop them, but unfortunately, they were a step ahead and grabbed him by the weak joints that his endoskeleton carries, and they lock him into place.
They knew they screwed up.
Mike however still shouts, despite the situation, "What the fuck! Your cheating! This is supposed to be a game, and your cheating the fucking rules! Your 'Master' can't even make up his damn mind!" Mike points at the bear, "So what? We're just gonna do this now, has your Master lost his mind over this much losing his precious bunny?"
The golden floating bear looks at the human, unamused was his whole face, his floating stance becomes duller. Mike for a moment was thinking the bear was gonna say something to his ignorance, though unfortunately to his luck, the bear's cold blue eyes would become dimmer, and his hand rose, meaning he was gonna do something that he had to prepare himself for. He wouldn't expect it so soon as the bear then grabs the human, completely to the neck, Mike felt his collarbones almost crushed to the bear's grip.
Mike groans, he felt his choke coming out, the bear was choking him!
The same bear growls, "I may of let me weaker self take control, but that doesn't mean I'm ignorant of what you've been doing. Cheating. Huh, that's interesting to think about considering how much you've been doing that yourself."
"The fuck are you on about?! Sure, I may have left my office, but I did it too-"
"Not only that. You have violated of bringing other employees into this, Jeremy Fitzgerald was not in a part of this. Of course, my Master had a plan for him, but that wouldn't have come later, the reasoning for bringing him back was simple...
"The human will pay for what he has done."
"...What? The fuck did he do wrong?"
His eyes grew dimmer, which felt impossible, "Leaving the game."
"...L-Leaving the game?" Jeremy's voice sprung up, it was cracking, trying to understand the bear's tone.
The bear then appeared in front of the poor man, "Do you not remember? My Master has made it clear that your quite the biggest offender, not only have you ruined everything, but you are also responsible for the Toy's fates, if you weren't so stubborn to play along, maybe they could still be around here."
"B-But I did what's right...I-I tried to h-help my friend at the time...-"
"Really? Is he your friend? Or were you the reason he had to die?"
Jeremy's face whitens, and Mike's face grows redder, the fucking nerve.
He dares to continue, "Do you not even realize your own mistakes? My master was right, you Endos are too stubborn to admit your faults, its why we need to put you back all into suits. You all have been here for too long, your Endo friend had to die because of you, he wasn't suited to be part of the crew anymore, after as well violating agreements...
"Guess whos fault is that?"
Mike wanted to interrupt the conversation, but he was shut completely by the golden bear, he growls, "I can just tell by that face of yours, even as an Endoskeleton I can see the regret. Don't feel bad, I'm sure is resting well, either that or dying in whatever hell there is, must be nice to be in that place..."
"H-He doesn't regret it..."
The golden bear stares at the broken human, and his shutter becomes worse, but so does his anger, "I-I don't care what you t-think of my r-r-relationship with Fritz...b-but I-I know one thing...
"Y-You K-KNOW NOTHING ABOUT O-OUR FRIENDSHIP!" His lungs must be made of steel to yell something as fearful as that.
The bear chuckles, "Enlighten me."
Jeremy wouldn't hesitate, "H-He was my friend...I-I knew that...M-Mike pointed something out to me. W-When I was gonna die inside that pizzeria, h-he came to my r-rescue. He d-didn't just do it for the sake of myself, h-he did it out of r-respect. W-When we were s-surviving together, h-he told me e-everything about the h-history of this place, h-he told me a-lot behind F-Freddys back when he wasn't supposed t-to. He e-even told me about the s-small deal that h-he and F-Freddy made. I d-didn't believe it at f-first...
"I-I would realize that its t-the darkest truth... "
Mike and Bonnie, both captured, still listened to this side of Jeremy.
"H-He did everything he did n-not because, f-for the d-deal, h-he stopped having i-interest in that long before those nasty n-nights occurred. H-He saved me s-so many times...h-he even went as far as joking ar-around me when h-he wanted to, it's like Mike, the moment I began to feel comfortable...
"...I-I knew we were friends...
"...And f-friends do w-what they must...
"So f-for the s-sake of everything, your n-not Goldie. Goldie would n-never say such lies when he saw it h-himself, you will never be G-Goldie, y-you will never be y-yourself! Y-You will remain an s-slave to Freddy...h-he's a monster..."
For a moment, the silence was all that was in the room, it filled the air, and the cameras were starting up again. The first noise to occur was a voice box, a voice box that was beginning to power up more, and the more it was, the more volume it was increasing. The volume begins to sound familiar...
It was then the sound of his laughter, the laughter was boosting his volume loudly, it was making him cackle, he was cackling at them.
"Question, when did I care?"
Jeremy wanted to answer that quickly, but after thinking about, after putting hard thinking into it...
He never cared...
His blue cold eyes glared at the fragile human, "You can tell me about his pathetic death all you want, but I would not care. I would never care, you telling me your relationship is nothing more than a stall of time for me. I would have had all of you killed by now by the time you finished..."
"Then what's the point of asking?" Bonnie asked from nowhere, he was struggling hard against the grip of two of his used to be friends.
"To buy time, easy, easy time. Of course, I would have thought you Endos be smarter than that, but I've come to get what I want."
Mike glares at the bear and was aimlessly kicking at the bear, his foot was practically getting nowhere.
However, that wouldn't matter as then, he was beginning to feel like his neck was being murdered, the bear was strangling him! He didn't care, he was gonna kill him here and now!
The same bear glares at the human he had at his grip, "My Master made it clear. He no longer cared if you broke, he doesn't want you around, he's quite done with your tricks. Since your quite the cheater, its fair for what happens to cheaters...
"Cheaters don't deserve to play the game."
"M-MIKE!"
"MIKE!"
Jeremy and Bonnie both yelled right at choking human, Bonnie himself continues to struggle harder against the animatronics, but the grips of theirs somehow have become even more powerful, it was like with Goldie around, they have gotten a power boost or some sorts!
The scared human looks across the board, he was the only one that wasn't captured or taken by the animatronics, yet, why should they? They have every right to ignore him, he felt useless, they knew he felt useless, and to Goldie, that was perfect to not even consider struggling back in any shape or form at all. Jeremy looked towards the animatronics that all had his companions.
Mike, as stupid as he was, he was also so damn smart at the right times. It all depends on the mood, and of course, at a time like this, he was intelligent. A lot of people would shrug off his skills simply due to his status, he was a college dropout, he was someone who was depressed, why would they hire someone like him?
Yet, Jeremy knew that if he were a Manager, and he needed someone to be hired, Mike would no doubt be the first person he picked, and not simply because they were friends. His friend had to be one of the most determined people out there, he actually could go toe to toe with things like this. Mike was so smart, being a college dropout didn't mean a damn thing, he might as well graduate college with how much intelligence he holds. They would have never gotten as far without his knowledge.
Which is why he wasn't gonna low his friend down.
He wasn't gonna let another friend down to once again to the same place he lost another friend.
Jeremy instead of simply of standing around doing nothing, he stands up and ran right towards the bear, the animatronics were caught off guard by the sudden scary cat moves, he was making a run for the human to save him, Goldie was surprised as much as the other animatronics, however, he remained still as the same human makes his way towards them.
He shouts, "Really? You're about as basic as your fellow endo here, running right towards me won't save you!" Suddenly, energy begins to form inside his paw, this was in hidden sight, but before he threw it right at the charging human.
Jeremy somehow became prepare for this attack, he dodges it quickly, it was an energy ball, so there was no way he simply made that out of the will, he turns himself around to find the same energy ball coming right back for him. He was super quick to dodge it yet again, but again, it goes back for him.
"You can try all you want, but that ball wants one thing, and that's contact, A.K.A. your endo head."
The charging human had to think quickly, seeing as the ball continues to shoot straight for him again, he dodges again, and again, but he knew at one point, he was gonna slip up. He had to find something to remove this damn ball away from him, he even runs a little away from Goldie to get him some space. With him making even more space for the ball to hit him, Jeremy would think quickly again to move below the ball, and he thought quickly. He remembers something directly, and he looks right at the tablet. The tablet was an object, and if anything was what Goldie said was true, then he had somewhat of an advantage!
However, when trying to go for the tablet, it was then blocked by an animatronics foot, and looking up, Chicas. She wasn't gonna kick him, he knew that for sure, but it was a kick to the face regarding how she knew exactly what he was gonna get first.
Jeremy felt his hope kicked as once again.
"Really? To think a tablet that lays on the floor right next to me will go unnoticed? To be frank, even the dumb bunny would know that by a faraway glance," The bear taunts the human, and then he snaps his paws, "You should of stay down."
When the ball comes right towards the human again, Jeremy, instead of dodging it, he stands still. He stands completely still and waits for the energy ball. Bonnie sees this and yells, "Jeremy Fritzgerald! Dodge again! That ball is gonna hurt you badly!"
"I...I k-know..."
"Then why?"
Jeremy had a faint smile, "M-My concern was never the ball."
The animatronics looked at Jeremy funny, and Mike himself, while choking still, had as a well faint smile.
Jeremy then brought out what would seem to be firework poppers. All the animatronics looked at it confused, and they saw the edge of the rope the popper had on fire, and while emotions were little, the surprise was. Goldie was the first to shout, "You are gonna try to burn us with that thing? You might even more dumb than I thought, us animatronics are immune to that kind of fire. To think even tinting into our skeletons is such a fragile and desperate attempt."
The previous nightguard doesn't say anything, the fire burns off the rope it had, and in hand, he still held it, despite how dangerous it might have been. His hands kept on the popper for a very long time, and the ball of energy came closer and closer, and it felt Jeremy was gonna touch it.
It was then he dodges it once more, and he goes to throw the poppers to where the bear was, the bear did not attempt to try and move out the way, he stares at the popper and growls, "It's sad really. I appreciate the effort, however," He then was ready to throw his foot at it, "Even kids would make better tricks than this!"
Jeremy had a faint smirk, "T-That wasn't the trick."
It was too late as the popper goes off, and the bear still goes to swing his powerful leg to the popper, however, the popper would then raise a power ear sound to the animatronics, and practically all of them hearing was destroyed. Goldie himself took a bad one, but he still held on to the human, and shouts, "N-No matter what. I ain't letting go..."
"I-I don't need to! M-Mike!"
Mike, even after all that choking groans, "O-On it," He then brings the tablet right into his hands.
"H-How? I-It was..."
"Or you thought!" He shouts before he threw the tablet right into bear's face, and though it didn't do much, it completely broke the tablet, and it fell into pieces to the popper, and the bear growls, "W-What the hell kind of attempt was that? I'd admit you got me, but on the flip side, your tablet is now gone."
"Not my concern, what y-you should be concern is that popper."
The bear didn't know how to react as then, a loud sound was once again made, and though he couldn't hear it, the tablet! The broken tablet has landed right into the poppers fire, and the fire makes for a powerful combo to the technology made into the tablet, making for electricity. The electricity then sparks and hits directly the bear, he felt the electricity sparking across his entire body, and he lets go of Mike, and this was enough time for him to escape the wrath of Goldie and make him escape before he was electrocuted.
Mike and Jeremy both high five each other as they saw that bear spark to death and Mike laughs, "And you said those things were gonna be a bust."
"I-I didn't know they would c-cause a reaction like that...a-and I wouldn't k-know if we would a-actually need them!" The older nightguard said in defense, scratching the back of his head, "Y-Your amazing, Mike."
"Well, it's all in thinking, I kinda thought that we might be caught. I also figured that something of a situation like this happened, so I came prepared," He winks, before he faces the animatronics again, and so did Jeremy.
The two humans standoff against the bear, they knew that simply wasn't enough for the bear to be finished off. They were way stronger than that, despite being animatronics, to Mike and Jeremy, they were considered above that now. They weren't simple entertainer anymore. They were devils, they simply weren't anything from this world.
The bear begins to recover from the said accident, and even though he got played a little. He still had that permanent smile up to his muzzle. It was incredible that despite everything he has gone through, he was still willing to go through it.
"You both prove one thing..." The 'controlled' bear chuckles, putting up Mike's and Jeremy's guard, they became more cautious as the bear was getting up, by now, they would do something, but they remained, however.
His smile grows bigger, "You both really are human."
Then, the sound of a scream comes to their ears, and it was the rabbits! Mike turned his head immediately to his direction, and his eyes widen in fear and anger, he sees that the chicken and fox both completely shut him off. They successfully did so without trouble, placing him down on the ground. He was nothing now, Mike himself felt the world swallow down to the very specific bunny.
The room becomes completely dark, his eyes were sharper for a moment, the colors were distant to each other, everything was vibrant. Everything, however, was black and white. For a moment, he felt blind.
...
"BONNIE!"
He ran as fast as he could to the bunny, he no longer cared for anything else. He wanted to fucking murder them! How fucking dare they?! They were willing to shut him off! They were willing to completely ruin him?! He wanted to fucki-
He then saw Goldie in front of him, and in a second, a force never before came right into his ears. He was forced all the way back to the other side of the room, and the bear had the most devilish, most hatred smile in the room, he waves, "You really are a moron. To think I would go down like that for a moment, in all that effort, you wouldn't even realize what I was doing as I send that ball to that endo trying to dodge it so desperately. You ever thought about how it was so easy for him to dodge it all? If I was actually trying, would you know by now that ball of energy would be way worse than it would be?"
Mike growls as he glares so hard into the traitor. His fists clutch a little in blood, his throat felt awful, everything did after that bit of choking, and his clothes felt like they were dragging him harder, but no longer had a care in the world. He felt a murderous intent. His grip becomes stronger, while he even goes as bits some blood into his lip, his face becomes harder.
There was one thing in his mind...
It was a single name.
"M-Mike! N-No!" His friend's voice was only what he could hear briefly, but before he discards it like the rest of the noise in the room. All his focus was on the shitty excuse of an animatronic.
Mike tried to resist it, his own feet were trying to stay plant on the ground. The force which Goldie uses to push them back. His own feet were willing to fly into the air. He wouldn't let it happen, his determination won't allow it.
It was then he was greeted with a pair of hands.
The Fox. The Chicken.
"Jus' wha' ye reckon yer doin' thinkin' ye can jus' run around all ye wants?"
"No pass! No entrance!"
He was thrown back to where Jeremy was, he groans.
They were both countered by the same animatronics.
The golden bear could chuckle seeing both of them like this, "You proven only one thing to me, you both lack the skill I would have thought you had, it's disappointing really. I wanted a good struggle, ah well, Master would want this bunny now," Goldie brings the same bunny over to the doors, and Mike wanted to so badly get to them, but both of the animatronics were blocking both of the doors, and they both had the same intentions.
To the humans, they were gonna have to get past the animatronics, they needed to if they don't. Bonnie would once again turn over to their side, and their disadvantage will become worse, and their chances of getting out of here will become zero.
If they were anyone else, they would feel like quitting.
Yet, they aren't. They are probably the only ones in the entire world that could ever do this. To unlikely nightguards to survive this long by pure luck, turning into pure skill. They weren't gonna go down so easily, they refused to. They both have something to fight for, and it was a force stronger than anything imaginable, stronger than a will for some cash.
They wanted to save something.
The animatronics and humans both standoff. Both willing to fight.
If they so badly want to stuff them or kill them, so beat it.
It will only go down from here...
A/N: Broooo, I've been dreading on it for far too long, I felt like I was never gonna get it out, but I managed to get it done, here's the result.
So, for drafts, you notice that there's no greeting between Jeremy and the animatronics, I decided to leave that out, unfortunately. As many times as I've tried to make this work, I felt I fall flat right in the execution of it, and I felt it would be better to leave it sadly. It made me sad, but it got to the night faster, so I guess there was that. Also, yay, cliff hanger, an awful one at that. I'm so sorry, I tried to fit in as much as I could, but I had to leave it short. So that'll mean this night is coming out as multiple parts, so you guys can read it in chunks and get it that way, sorry :v
Anyways, I learned to try and cope with what I got in reviews, I know I have been begging on reviews, and I stressed how much I want them, and that still hasn't changed. Though I learned that I shouldn't let that determine my story, with the lack of reviews, were the favorites. If people were still favoriting it, that meant that they enjoyed the story, and that was good enough to me. Thank you to those who favorited the story and strive to let this story go on! You're my people!
Also, I forgot to mention we hit 200K words. Honestly, I never thought to get as far as we did with this night. I wanna say thank you to those who read my terrible story and continue on. Your all awesome.
Before I see you next time, don't forget to review and say what you think, and as always...
...Until next time. :)
