Welcome Once again for those who have been keeping up with this story thanks to all of you guys. Shout out to 0G R3 for his review of my story and you are right about the fact that more people need to read more of the Crossovers that are posted on this site. Hope to hear from you guys out there I want your ideas and thoughts on my story. On a different note I am thinking about starting another story that will not be a Riordan universe one just so you all know so if I take some time to post my next chapter you will know why. Now on with the show as they say.

Welcome to Brooklyn house

Carter Pov

After about an hour of seeing to ourselves and making sure we were good enough to travel we headed for Brooklyn house. The quick flight back to New York from Memphis luckily for us was clear skies… or is it sailing oh never mind. We told Leo to head for Brooklyn when we arrived at the place, we told him Leo and his two friends were more than a bit skeptical. After all we had Leo put the ship down in a junkyard of all places. This of course got us some weird looks until the trio looked up and saw what they missed the first time around.

"Wait…how…when that's not possible?" was all Leo could manage as he and the others looked up and saw the mansion sitting on the roof of the warehouse in the junk yard.

"There's no way, that wasn't there before was it?" Percy asked with a look that said please tell me I am not the only one seeing this.

"I Know that wasn't there when we first got here, but if it was than how did I miss it I mean I think I would have seen a big mansion that is on top of a warehouse." Annabeth commented having a hard time believing that she missed the mansion when we first got here.

Sadie had a hard time holding back her amusement at the reactions of our new friends that being said neither myself nor Damion were doing any better.

"Fyi yes what you are seeing is no illusion well almost, the mansion is shrouded in one per say but that is not the point the point is that yes, it is real and the easiest way to explain it is that its magic." Damion said not even trying to hide his amusement at what was going on.

"So then why is it every time I try to look at it out of the corner of my eye that it's not there?" Percy asked confused at how it was possible.

"The best way to explain it is that when it comes to magic those who are not born to it like we are can't see it and those who can see it need to adjust to it our uncle could give a better explanation." I said trying to think up a better explanation.

"So, then why can the three of us see it?" Annabeth asked a little bit confused at the fact that none of them were as the Kane siblings put it born to magic. "Last time I saw something like this it was because Sadie put some salve under my eyes that helped me see what was going on better, unless this is more like being able to see through the mist than that would make more sense." She commented about her last encounter with Sadie.

"This Mist, you guys keep mentioning that what is it and why does it have anything to do with this?" Sadie asked not getting the reference that Annabeth was making.

"The Mist is the vail that separates the magical from the non-magical, it's what keeps mortals from getting involved and blinds them to the world of magic and monsters though it is not fool proof some people can see through the mist and know about what is happening around them." Percy explained making me like I had just got schooled in the one subject that I thought I was the top student in.

"Maybe what you guys call the mist is no different than what we know as magic they most likely are one in the same or…"

"Or Maybe it is that they are similar but are two different things that work the same." Annabeth said cutting Damion off and stealing his thunder but he didn't seem to mind much at that.

"So that could explain why you guys can see the mansion." I said as Sadie picked up the line of logic before I could continue.

"Maybe it has to do with how your demigods you know like how Thoth said that you three can use magic but just not in the same way we can." Sadie said making me stop for a second at the fact that my sister was actually listening when Thoth was going on about how magic worked at its base and about how our friends could use it differently than we could.

[Yooowww Hot, Hot, Hot at the risk of being fried by my sister I will move on, even though it's the truth.]

"If only Amos was here than we could pick his brain on this and maybe get a better idea of how to go about this whole thing." I said which seemed cause a lightbulb to go off in Damion's head.

"Wait that's it, either of you two have a way to get in touch with Uncle Amos?" Damion asked looking to Myself and Sadie but they both shook their heads in the negative to which He hung his head. "well it was worth a try." He sighed

"Hold it you said that you need to get in contact with your Uncle he is a magician too, right?" Annabeth asked to which the three of us nodded our heads.

"Oh, I see where you're going with this wise girl but will it work?" Percy asked looking like he was remembering something that might throw a wrench into the plan.

"Well unless there's a reason that you think it would fail it should work." Annabeth said looking back at Percy.

"Well I was thinking back to what Thoth said about combining magics and that made me think it might not work I mean we are trying to contact an Egyptian magician with Greek methods it may not work at all or worse backfire." Percy stated looking back at Annabeth.

"That would be true if we were trying to make to different types of magic work together but we only want to talk to Amos so we should be fine the main problem is that he is the Chief lector and might be busy, also we don't know if the first Nome has any types of spells active that would block this type of message." I said Giving Damion hope about his idea.

"Chief Lecture?" Leo asked mispronouncing it but that wasn't his fault.

"Chief Lector not Lecture it's the position that is given to the second in command of the entire network of Nome's across the whole world whose second to only the Pharaoh." Damion stated.

"Wait you said something about this back in the louvre about how you left running the day to day operations to your Uncle so you are the Pharaoh and he is second in command doesn't that seem like a bit of stacking the deck in your favor?" Percy asked to which the three of us just shrugged.

"When most of the people who make up the group don't like you to begin with a little bit of deck stacking never hurt." Sadie said to which Percy couldn't help but chuckle at.

"But back to the matter at hand you said you think you know of a way to contact Uncle Amos?" Damion Asked renewed hope in his voice.

"Yes, we should be able to Leo can you produce a rainbow please?" Annabeth asked making the three Kane siblings raise an eyebrow.

"Tsk give me a challenge he said as Leo walked over to a control panel and pressed a few buttons which caused a spot near to the central mast to open a small compartment to which a small tube rose out of and a spout of water to be fired from it when it caught the sun just right it created a rainbow and Annabeth pulled out a gold coin that looked old and threw it into the rainbow and called out.

"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering." As Annabeth said this she stepped back and told Damion to thinks of the Person he wanted to contact he had a look on his face that screamed skeptical but hey it had been a long few days and at this point anything seemed possible like when we first started our world saving quest back last Christmas.

As Damion stepped forward and concentrated. An image appeared in the rainbow that showed Uncle Amos in hi def no less. Amos to his credit was only slightly startled at what just happened and then noticed who it was contacting him.

"Damion I must say that this is the last way I would have thought you would contact me if you needed to talk you could have just come to the first Nome you know." Amos said stating the fact that it would be easier to come to him.

"Well that's the thing I don't think our friends would be allowed into the Nome also we need to talk to you in person can you meet us at Brooklyn house we can explain when you get here but for us to come to you right now is not that simple." Damion said making Amos raise an eyebrow at the young magician's statement.

"If I think the friends that you speak of are what I think they are than yes it would be difficult to have you come here if this message is any indication of what they are, I will meet you there in a half hour I just need to finish up some stuff here real quick in the mean time take you friends on a tour of the mansion and show them around tell the others that they are our guests and that they will be here for a little bit. Amos said to which Damion nodded and then the message cut out to which Annabeth was surprised a bit.

"Did he just…" Annabeth asked to which I said "Probably he knows more about the magical world than we do and if his reaction to us contacting him like this is an indication than I would say yes he has had some run-ins with your guys side of the fence before."

"On that note he said to show you blokes around the mansion so let's get started then shall we." Sadie said to which she stepped up to the door and opened it without using her had to which the trio just stared for a second before coming back to earth as we walked inside all I could think was that our friends were in for a whole new set of surprises.

Annabeth Pov

To say that the mansion was big was an understatement it was huge as we walked through the door my mouth fell open and Percy's and Leo's hit the floor the celling was four stories above us supported by large stone pillars that we intricately carved with more hieroglyphics a fire place you could park a car in set into one wall with a plasma screen TV situated above it along with three levels of balconies that seemed to have rooms that looked out on to the main room and if that weren't enough to top it all off at the center of the room and I kid you not a thirty foot tall statue of some man with the head of a bird made of black marble.

Damion seemed to get some amusement out of this as he responded to our gawking with saying "Yes this is the great room." As he waved his hand at the large room with a bit of amusement in his voice.

"I'll say." was all that came out of Percy's mouth as he continued to gawk at the vast room.

Leo just stared around at all the different things that his eyes could take in. As I continued to look around I saw the outside terrace through the large windows along with the swimming pool and fire pit that sat outside I thought to myself if this is what it's like to be a magician I seriously got screwed over when my mom and dad had me why couldn't my mom have been a magician or better yet an Egyptian goddess, I mean come on this place was like living in a 'six' star hotel. The answer to this thought was the voice of my mother telling me. 'The grass is not always greener on the other side.' At this thought I sighed and thought that she might have been wrong this time but remembered who I was talking about and decided she was right I had no idea about what the Kane sibling's go through on a daily basis but come on this was SO not fair.

As the tour went on, after seeing the training room which by the way was the size of a basketball court and was also apparently used as one when not being used for training seriously what is it with these guys and basketball, and the infirmary we were stopped by and I kid you not a baboon in a LA Lakers jersey holding a basketball under his right arm and the tall friend of theirs whose name was Walt if I am remembering right. The trio didn't even blink at this as they stopped to talk with the boy and baboon.

"Agh-agh." The baboon barked out like it was totally normal. This made me think 'Sure why not oh and can you repeat that again because I didn't catch any of that.'

"He wants you to know that Amos has arrived and will be waiting in the library when you're ready. He also wants to know who your friends are because he can tell they are not magicians." Walt said doing a quick translation for those of us who don't speak baboon.

"They are friends of ours Khufu and will be here for a short while don't worry also thanks for letting us know that Amos is here, we will be with him shortly." Carter said the baboon seemed to relax or maybe that was just my imagination I don't know which.

"Uhh." Khufu belched which by the way smelled like nacho flavor Doritos which is not a pleasant smell.

To which Carter replied, "No I didn't get to catch the Game last night the Lakers win?" at this Khufu jumped doing a flip and holding up his ball and barked "Uhh!"

Which made Carter smile "Good to know the team is doing great." He commented after which Khufu ran off with his ball in hand.

"Thanks Walt." Sadie said nodding to which Walt nodded back.

"No problem you guys want me to tell the others about what's going on?" Walt asked.

"Better keep it under wraps for now those who already know about it should meet in the library with us though." Carter commented at this Walt said he would have everyone needed meet in the library in ten and walked off to round up said people.

"You have a pet monkey?" Leo asked with raised eyebrows.

"Yup and he's a baboon not a monkey." Damion responded which made Leo frown at being corrected.

"You guys also seem to understand him as well." Percy chimed in.

To which Sadie spoke up. "It takes a while to get what he is saying but you get used to it not that it ever gets any easier."

"Ok I have to ask what is with the baboons and basketball is it like a rule or something only Egyptians understand?" I asked to which Damion replied, "It's a baboon thing apparently all baboons love basketball just go with it, it will make things so much easier if you don't question it." He said with a tone to his voice that said I live here and I still don't understand that one.

Last but certainly not least was the library which was huge and I mean Huge it also seemed to look nothing like what I though a library would it was a round well like chamber that was sunk into stone three stories down which made my head spin just about as much as everything else in this place I mean really is it too much to ask for a little bit of normal when I looked around I spotted Sadie who gave me a look that said I know I still don't get how either but just go with it, which at this point was about all I could do at this point that was until I saw who we were meeting and thought this has to be the strangest thing yet in the past few days.

The man standing in the library looked like a professional jazz musician who had just gotten back from a tour. He wore a dark maroon and black pinstriped suit with red tinted round frame sunglasses and from what I could tell rubies in his braids under his matching fedora one thing was for sure he looked imposing. As he saw us enter, he studied me, Percy and Leo but smiled when he saw Carter, Sadie and Damion. His teeth were white and I don't just mean like white they almost gleamed in the light and he seemed at ease but somehow looked like he could take the three of us without much effort.

"It seems like only yesterday I brought you three here and now look at us all back here again my how the time flies." The Man said as the Kane trio went over and hugged their uncle.

"It's good to see you two Uncle Amos Sadie said as she and the other two siblings returned Amos's hug.

"Let me get a look at the three of you…hum yes very good you've gotten stronger in the past few months. Your Parents would be proud of you all of you." Amos said to the trio which made them look like a normal family, which warmed my heart a bit.

"Not to interrupt this heart felt moment but we are on a race against Setne." Percy spoke which I jabbed him in the side for.

"Of course, we can catch up later tonight I will be staying for the night if you have no objections?" Amos asked to which Carter laughed a bit.

"Amos you have only need ask you 're always welcome here after all your family and it was your house not too long ago." Carter stated to which Sadie smiled and Damion nodded.

"It's good to know that family is still needed." Amos said smiling at the young magicians. "Now then if you don't mind introducing me to your new Greek friends and getting me up to speed on the situation." He continued looking at the three of us.

Percy Pov

To say that the meeting was strange was an understatement it was like trying to talk to someone about the same topic but with both people using two different languages as well as two different versions of the same topic or at least that was how my brain thought of it anyway. All in all, Amos seemed like a really relaxed guy but I knew for a fact that if he wanted to, he could have taken us and there wouldn't have been a thing we could do to stop him. The guy had a presence to him kind of like that jazz musician by day magician by night sort of vibe that I was getting from him or maybe that was just my imagination as well. I did how ever know one thing for sure he knew more about what was going on than we did and we needed his help. As we went around the room introducing ourselves, he looked each of us over thoroughly and nodded to himself than took his glasses of and put them in his pocket and removed the fedora and set it on the table in the center of the library floor. After which the three other people who had helped at the battle walked into the library which made Amos raise an eyebrow at Carter who said. "They already know and need to be kept in the loop if we need to make any sudden moves to stop Setne." At this Amos look pleased that Carte had such a level head on his shoulders and nodded his approval.

"Ok now that everyone is here, we can begin." Damion said as the Kane trio and the three of us brought Amos up to speed on the whole situation.

"This is not good." Amos said after hearing everything we had to tell him about what was happening. "If Setne has a Greek God under his control and possibly more Gods it will be hard to stop him however it will not be impossible." He went on as he seemed to look the information over in his head.

"What do we do?" Zia if I got the name right asked.

"We will have to work smart and be on our guard remember even though he is a ghost Setne can still do a lot of harm and if he makes himself into a God it will be even less likely that we will be able to stop him." He said looking at all of us.

"So where do we start?" I asked eager to get down to business and take this Setne guy down.

"We need to know more on where the two parts to the crown are and how long it will take to get them." Walt said getting a round of grunts and nodded heads.

"We know that the two parts of the crown of Ptolemy have been hidden one in the duat and one in the Sahara Desert both of which were hidden by a specific God who put them there in the first place." Damion said make a pair of hologram like images appear in a sea green light that represented the two parts of the crown.

"The Part of the crown hidden in the duat was placed there by Nekhbet while the Piece hidden in the Sahara was hidden by Geb however it isn't going to be easy to get to either piece, from what we know Setne has a head start on one of the pieces, as to which one we don't know but that is not what we need to focus on what we need to focus on is stopping Setne if can make it so he can't get even one of the pieces of the crown it will make his plans all for nothing." Carter stated laying it all out on the table.

"We will divide into two teams and make for the parts of the crown if we can get one of them and place it were Setne can't get to it we will have ruined his plan but we need to be ready for the worst and hope for the best this is not going to be easy but we can do this." Damion picked up where Carter had left off.

The plan was simple but effective. Gee I wonder how many plans have had that said about them that have worked and how many times they haven't all I can say is that this was going to be one heck of a bumpy ride. However, said ride was not too bumpy for at least tonight the trio showed us to a set of rooms that were used for guests and I have to tell you that these rooms were way off the hook I am talking like five start hotel I had my own kitchenette with my favorite snacks personal bathroom with my normal brand of soap tooth paste the works and a king size bed not to thrilled about the head rest but otherwise all I have to say is that tonight I was going to sleep well.
