The next morning Angel woke up. He was in his bed and only had boxers on. He looked around the room. Everything looked normal. He looked next to him. Cordelia wasn't there. Angel shook his head and rubbed his eyes. What happened last night? The last thing he remembered was staring at the tapestry while it glowed. He didn't remember going to bed. Angel freaked out a little bit mentally thinking he might have done something to Cordelia. "Cordy" he yelled out to no answer. Angel got out of bed and looked around the room again. He didn't see a dead body. Angel started smelling the air. He didn't smell blood but he did smell Cordelia's perfume that she liked to wear and that drove him crazy. He checked his teeth to make sure there was no blood on them and there wasn't. Angel breathed a small sigh of relief. At least he didn't go crazy last night and turn into Angelus. Angel got dressed and headed upstairs hoping Cordelia was up there.

When the elevator stopped Angel stepped out into his office. The first thing he noticed was that the tapestry was missing. It wasn't on his desk. He figured Cordelia must have moved or something. He heard voices in the outer office and walked out of his office. He saw Doyle talking to Cordelia who was sitting at the computer. It sounded like they were arguing about something but Angel didn't care. He was just happy to see Cordelia alive. "Cordy" Angel said running over and picking her up out of the chair hugging her. "I was so worried" he said. Cordelia looked over at Doyle confused. Doyle shrugged his shoulders but was seriously worried about his friend. "Worried about what" Cordelia asked. Angel pulled back and looked at Cordelia. "I was worried what I might have done to you last night" he said. Cordelia just looked continued to look at him confused. "You didn't do anything last night. I mean I had to come to get you again but after that second time you came down and went to bed" she said.

Angel was really confused now. "Are you sure that's all that happened to me last night? I didn't go missing or didn't turn into Angelus or anything" he asked. "No after I came and got you again you just went straight to bed" Cordelia said. Angel looked away thinking about something. "Are you OK man" Doyle asked. Angel looked at Doyle and shook his head. "I can't remember what happened last night. The last thing I remember was Cordy coming to get me and I started to put the tapestry away but then it glowed. It was so beautiful. I stared at it under a spell or something and then I woke up downstairs in bed. I don't remember how I got there" he said. "You were acting strange last night" Cordelia said. "Strange how" Angel asked. "You were distant and it didn't seem like you were all there. It just didn't seem like you. I just thought you were tired which is why I didn't wake you up this morning" she said. "Do you think that tapestry did something to you" Doyle asked. Angel nodded his head.

"Where is the tapestry" Angel asked. "I don't know. It was gone the second time I came up to get you. I figured you put it somewhere" Cordelia said. Angel shook his head. "I don't remember" he said. "Well then let's find it. It has to be here somewhere" Doyle said. The three of them looked all over Angel's office and the outer office. They found nothing. "Wherever you hid it you hid it well" Doyle said. "I wish I could remember" Angel said. Cordelia could see that Angel was really beating himself up about this. She walked over to him and took his hand. "Were going to find it and then were going to find out what happened to you last night" Cordelia said. Angel looked at her and gave her a small smile. "Maybe we should call the sisters. Maybe they can help us" Doyle said. Angel nodded. "Good idea. Doyle call them and see if we can go over there" Angel said. Doyle nodded and left the room. He came back a few minutes later and told the sisters said they would help them. Angel put on his leather coat and they left.

They had arrived at the manor about 20 minutes later and Angel started telling Prue Piper and Andy the story of what happened. They were all in the kitchen and Phoebe was looking in the book in the attic. "It started glowing and I just stared at it. I couldn't stop and the next thing I know I wake up this morning with no memory of what happened after that" Angel said. Prue was making her and Andy breakfast. "So you don't know where you put this tapestry" Andy said. Angel shook his head. "I can't remember" he said. "A glowing tapestry that takes away memories. That definitely sounds like our type of problem" Prue said. "That's why we were hoping you guys could help us" Cordelia said. "Do you guys no anymore about this tapestry and where it came from" Piper asked. They shook their heads. "We got it from our client who said she never saw it until a couple days ago" Doyle said. "A demonic tapestry. Our lives just keep getting weirder" Prue said.

"What is the name of your client? I would like to talk to her and ask her a few questions. Maybe she'll remember something if she talks to a cop" Andy said. "Holly Fields. Here's her number" Angel said handing Andy a piece of paper with Holly's number on it. Andy smiled at him. "I'll call her later today and see if she can talk" he said. "Thanks" Angel said. Phoebe came walking into the kitchen with the book of shadows in her hands. "I couldn't find anything in the book of shadows about demonic tapestries. I looked everywhere" Phoebe said. Angel looked at Phoebe sadly. "Well thanks for trying" he said. Phoebe smiled at him. "Were going to figure out what happened to you Angel" Phoebe said. "I hope so" Angel said under his breath. "We will" Cordelia said taking his hand again. "I think I'm going to go back to the office to try to figure out what happened" Angel said. "Do you want us to go with you" Doyle asked. Angel shook his head. "No I just need to be alone right now" he said and left the room.

When Angel got back to the office he called Holly and asked her to come to the office. He had to find out about the tapestry and he figured she knew more than she was telling. Holly showed up 30 minutes later and walked into Angel's office. "Hello Holly please take a seat" Angel said pointing to a chair in front of his desk. "Did you find Paul yet" Holly asked as she sat down. "No me and my associates are still in the middle of our investigation" Angel said. Holly looked at Angel confused. "Well then why am I here" she asked. "Holly I know this is hard for you but I don't want to talk about your boyfriend Paul. I want to talk about the tapestry you gave us. Something strange happened" Angel said. Holly looked scared. "It happened to you to didn't it" Holly said. "What" Angel asked. "This is how it all starts" Holly said looking away from Angel. "What are you talking about" Angel asked. "At first it glows or you think it glows. I don't know anymore. Then you miss big chunks of time in your memory" Holly said.

"Is that what happened to you" Angel asked. Holly nodded her head starting to cry. "There's time that is just missing for me. I can't remember what I was doing or where I was and now I've started to see stuff. At first I didn't know if what I was seeing was real or not but then it touched me and I knew I wasn't crazy" Holly said. "What exactly do you see" Angel asked. "Ghosts. They just stand there and stare at me and I can't get away from them no matter where I go or what I do" Holly said. "Do you think the tapestry is haunted by a ghost" Angel asked. "What else could it be" Holly asked. "Has this ghost ever said anything to you like what he wants" Angel asked. Holly shook her head. "No I have no idea what he wants. Nobody does" she said. She looked around. "Where is the tapestry" she asked. "I don't know. The same thing happened to me and I can't remember what I did with it" Angel said. "If you want my advice never find that tapestry. Call me when you find Paul" Holly said getting up and leaving.

Andy was laying in bed reading through books trying to find anything he could on demonic tapestries when Prue walked in to the bedroom. "Could we talk for a minute" Prue asked. "Sure" Andy said putting the book down on the night table next to the bed. Prue laid on the bed next to Andy. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry about last night. You were right our anniversary is important and I should have been there to celebrate it with you" Prue said. Andy smiled at her. "I have to apologize too. I shouldn't have gotten that mad. I just wanted to celebrate our anniversary with you so bad that I got mad when you weren't able to show up. I'm sorry" Andy said. Prue smiled at him. "We both messed up. So why don't we just forget about this whole fight and just move on" she said. Andy nodded his head and wrapped his arms around Prue pulling her closer. "You know we can still celebrate our anniversary tonight. It's a day late but we could do something special tonight" Prue said. Andy nodded in agreement.

Angel waited for it to turn night and decided to go look for Holly. He put on his leather coat kissed Cordelia goodbye and went searching for Holly. He wanted to make sure she was OK. He hadn't heard from her since she had left his office and he just wanted to make sure she was OK. She had given them her address the previous day so he decided to search there first. He parked his car on the street and walked up to the house. It was a pretty average house that wasn't too fancy. Angel knocked on the door and waited for answer. He saw Holly's car in the driveway so he figured she was home. Angel knocked again and this time he heard rustling in the house. Someone was in there. Angel was about to knock again when the door opened. Holly had finally answered the door. "Angel what are you doing here" Holly asked. "I just wanted to make sure you were OK. You seemed pretty upset when you left my office" he said. Holly smiled at him. "I'm fine. Come in we can talk about inside" she said.

Angel walked inside and Holly shut the door behind him. "Do you want some tea or something" Holly asked. "No I'm fine" Angel said smiling at her. "So about before in your office I'm sorry I'm really scared of that tapestry and I'm worried for Paul" Holly said. "Has that ghost ever attacked you or tried to hurt you" Angel asked. Before she could answer the phone rang. "Excuse me for a second" Holly said. "Of course" Angel said. Holly walked out of the room to answer the phone and Angel waited for her to come back. Something caught his eye in the other room. Angel walked into the other room and couldn't believe what he saw. Hanging up on the wall was the tapestry he couldn't find. Holly had it all along. Why did she lie to him about it. "I see you found my secret" Holly said from behind Angel. Angel turned around and saw Holly standing behind him. She had a devious look on her face. "What is this all about" Angel asked. "You're the detective. You tell me" she said.

"This was all a set up. You lied to us about everything" Angel said. Holly clapped. "You finally figured it out. It took you long enough. I was getting tired of playing this innocent grieving girlfriend role" she said. "Why" Angel asked glaring at her. "I need you and the Charmed ones out of the way. With you guys out of the way I could build my demonic kingdom and no one will be able to stop me" Holly said. "We'll stop you" Angel said. Holly laughed. "I don't think so" she said. Before Angel knew what happened she threw a energy ball at him and it flew him across the room. He was barely conscious. "Don't worry your friends will be joining you soon" Holly said as Angel tried to get up. She walked over and kicked him in the face hard and he fell to the ground unconscious. Holly grabbed a chair and put it in the middle of the room. She took off Angel's leather coat and threw it across the room. She touched Angel's exposed chest through his open shirt. She used a knife to cut two more buttons off his shirt exposing his chest even more and leaving the bottom two buttons buttoned. She started carving a symbol into his chest and then she rolled up his sleeves and carved a symbol on each wrist. Then she picked Angel up and chained him to the chair so he couldn't move and she could complete her spell. She watched the unconscious vampire sleep and started her spell.

Cordelia and Doyle were still at the office waiting for Angel to come back. "You know you don't have to wait here. You can go home. I'll be OK by myself" Cordelia said as she watched Doyle start to fall asleep on the couch. They were in the basement watching a movie waiting for Angel to come home. Doyle smiled at her. "I'm fine I'm just a little tired but I told you I would wait with you until Angel came back" Doyle said obviously trying to fight off the sleep from coming. "I'll be fine. Angel will be home soon. Go home" Cordelia said. "Are you sure" Doyle asked. Cordelia smiled at him. "Positive" she said. Doyle got up from the couch. "Call me when he gets home" Doyle said. Cordelia nodded her head. "Of course" she said. Doyle went into the elevator and left Cordelia downstairs alone. The truth was she was worried about Angel. He had been gone for over two hours and he hadn't called. She figured he was still out there looking for Holy and he would call soon.

Angel woke up as Holly was performing her spell. He tried to get up but couldn't. He was chained to a chair. He struggled against the chains but it was no use. He was trapped. He looked down at himself and noticed his chest and wrists carved up with strange symbols. Angel's struggle caught Holly's attention. She stopped performing her spell and looked at Angel. "It's no use struggling. Your not getting out of those chains. Just sit back and enjoy the show" she said. "What the hell did you do to me" Angel asked. Holly smiled at him. "I made you part of the show" Holly said. "What show" Angel asked. "You'll see" was all Holly said as she went back to her spell. Angel continued to struggle against the chains. She finished the spell and the tapestry started to glow just as the symbols she carved into Angel started to glow also. It was excruciating pain and Angel screamed out in pain. The tapestry and the symbols on Angel continued to glow until the whole room was glowing. When the glowing stopped Holly looked at the chair and Angel was gone. She smiled. She walked over to the tapestry. "I hope you enjoy your new home" she said and walked out of the room. Inside the tapestry Angel fell to the ground hard. He looked up. He was in a forest. He recognized the forest as the one from the tapestry and figured he must be inside it. "Don't move" he heard someone say behind him. He looked behind him and saw ten men with spears pointed at him. He was trapped in this tapestry and now was about to be these men's prisoner. His night couldn't get any worse.
