Alright, let's see how Izuku and Ochako are doing here! Let The Battle with Joker and Stain Arc begin!

Izuku was with Gran Torino and Toshinori. It had been a strenuous few days, with Gran Torino helping Izuku get better at his reaction speeds as well as the speed needed to switch between the elements he harnessed. However, the main problem lied in [One for All] and how Izuku was handling it. So far, Izuku had managed to learn how to harness 10% safely but they still needed to find a way to harness it properly and that's what brings us to now.

"I mean, your Quirk has a limited amount of thrust and the factors it accounts for should-" Izuku was muttering on the prospect of Gran Torino's Quirk, [Jet], as the old man chuckled.

"It's lung capacity, sonny. My Quirk takes the air out of my lungs in order to boost me around. I'm not as spry and youthful as I was back in the day, but I take care of myself."

Toshinori nodded. "Indeed, Sensei. The only problem is how Young Midoriya is handling OFA."

Izuku sighed as he placed some Taiyaki in the microwave, currently making a snack for the three to share. As he stared at the microwave, he couldn't help but stare at it as the dish spun around on the turntable, the radiation cooking the pastries, the energy moving around...

Then it hit him.

"I SEE IT!" Toshinori and Sorahiko nearly fell out of their seats in surprise from Izuku's outburst as the teen turned to the two excitedly.

"I've been looking at harnessing OFA all wrong! I shouldn't be focusing it on one specific limb, I need to picture it like the energy of a microwave, moving around and flowing the energy through the whole body!"

Gran Torino stretched his back while rubbing his chin, realizing slowly the sense that Izuku's words made while Toshinori's eyes widened in full realization.

"Young Midoriya, that's BRILLIANT! How come I never thought of that?"

"Because you could naturally handle OFA when Nana first gave it to you! Plus, you're a bonehead!" Sorahiko snapped at his old protege as Toshinori blushed awkwardly in response when Izuku perked up.

"Nana?"

Toshinori and Sorahiko then looked away, forlorn sorrow in their eyes as Izuku became worried. Toshinori noticed his successor's expression and shook his head to try and change the subject.

"L-Let's have our snack and then see if we can put Young Midoriya's new theory to the test!"

Ochako grunted as she dodged a palm thrust from her mentor before ducking and going for a sweep kick, but the Caped Crusader flipped over her and grabbed her by the neck, pulling her close in a chokehold.

"You have too many doubts in your mind! You need to clear them!"

"I...can't...FOCUS!" The brunette screamed and her eyes glowed pink as she unleashed a wave of gravimetric force that pushed Batman away. Alfred was nearby and at a safe distance as he shielded himself with one arm from the kickback. Ochako fell to her knees and breathed heavily as Batman recovered and walked over to her before helping her up.

"I understand your anger. Your parents are in the hands of a dangerous criminal mastermind and he's somewhere right here in the city we're in. I promise you...we'll get them back." The Dark Knight said in a softer tone of voice as Ochako looked down.

"Honestly, to think that Arthur would become such a monster..." Alfred muttered as Ochako looked at the old butler confused.

"Arthur?"

Batman walked over to his computer, gesturing for Ochako to come over and see what he brought up. She saw pictures, documents and other depictions of a smiling man, but behind that smile, Ochako could see a form of hidden pain and anger.

"Arthur Fleck...My half-brother."

Ochako looked at Batman in shock. "The Joker is..."

Batman nodded as he continued. "I was 12 at the time. My father, Thomas Wayne used to date a woman named Penny Fleck and she ended up giving birth to Arthur. My father didn't want anything to do with her because he deemed her mentally unfit, but he wasn't a fully cruel person so he gave her an apartment space to live in with her newborn son."

Alfred stepped in next. "Penny dated another man for a time, but he was incredibly violent and abusive. He ended up taking most of his anger on young Arthur, which in response, caused him to develop Pseudobulbar Effect or 'Pathological Laughter'. Thankfully, Thomas arrested the man but Penny and Arthur's life was left...broken."

"After that, Arthur grew up struggling with his disability and illness. Society was at a particularly new low in Gotham back then and he was rejected by nearly everyone. Then, one day, he started going through a really rough patch." Batman then pulled up a file showing Arthur now wearing his signature costume and facepaint.

"He learned of his upbringing and killed his mother in a fit of cold anger. He then ended up visiting our manor after realizing his true heritage. Of course, I was none too pleased to see him near Master Bruce...but I saw the look of despair in his eyes and I wished I could have offered him better words of comfort." Alfred lamented, remembering all too well the feeling of Arthur's hand on his neck.

"He killed three young employees of Wayne Enterprises and that in turn led to an uprising of lower-class citizens antagonizing the high-class. It was pandemonium and he didn't intend for it to happen...but then, he embraced it after a while." Batman finished.

"Thomas and Martha were gunned down by Joe Chill, one of the rioters inspired by Arthur's actions. It was then that Arthur fully embraced the monster he had become...and JOKER was born."

Ochako looked down as she processed what she was told. She now had a newfound feeling of pity for the man who kidnapped her parents...but she still could not forgive him for what he did, for what he was DOING.

"We need to stop him. He still has my parents, right?"

Batman nodded before walking over to a nearby desk and taking out what seemed to be a playing card.

"He actually left one of his little calling cards while I was patrolling. I think he has a plan for us, but we'll be ready.

Ochako was handed the card and looked at it as she saw the message painted in red and green letters.

'Hosu Party Tomorrow Night! Come to the Old Warehouse; Bring the Kids!'

Joker chuckled as he walked over Ororo and Choko. Ororo was the least harmed, a few bruises from being manhandled by his former friend's thugs. Choko, on the other hand, was wearing nothing but a dirty rag and an empty look in her eyes. Her cheeks had sliced scars to make a 'smile' but the dead frown on her face was clear to see.

"Wow, 2 weeks and not a single Hero knows you two are here. I bet your daughter must be worried SICK!"

Ororo gave his childhood friend, no, the MONSTER wearing his old friend's face, a stone-cold glare. Despite being shown videos and pictures of his wife being violently raped by petty thugs and depraved maniacs, he refused to break, he would not let whoever this man who had taken Arthur's place get the last laugh.

"You leave Ochako out of this. My one comfort is that she's safe from YOU."

Joker just threw his head back and laughed mockingly. "Really? Then you wouldn't mind if I told you my buddy 'The Bat' is bringing her here to Hosu? And guess what, there's gonna be a lot of fireworks going on tomorrow night..."

"What fireworks?" Choko whispered through bloodied, chapped lips.

"Something a few 'FRIENDS' of mine have planned...You won't wanna miss it!"

Tomura scratched his neck as he observed the three Nomus currently in their stasis tanks. They weren't as strong as the one from the USJ but they were all 'Sensei' could provide at the time.

"Heh, tomorrow night at Hosu is gonna be FUN, if what that freaky-ass CLOWN said is anything to go by."

"Are you sure you want to send them out after the dealings we had earlier with Stain?" Kurogiri asked his ward as Tomura chuckled in response.

"Kurogiri, you know I can't stand arrogant pricks like him...he's gonna wish he never messed with us."

In a rundown, abandoned apartment, a man dressed in blades with a red scarf was currently eating a cup of instant ramen noodles as he watched the news on TV. Apparently, none other than one of America's greatest Heroes, Batman, was visiting for reasons currently unknown.

"Batman...one of the true heroes in this world's sham-filled society. I know of his code and I respect it...but I have my own code to follow as well."

Walking over to a picture of Ingenium, the man looked at it with a small look of guilt in his eyes before they hardened as he crushed the picture in his grip.

"I apologize, Ingenium, but you got in the way of my crusade. I spared you because I need the world to know that I exist, to tell the posers masquerading as Heroes that their days are numbered..."

The man then walked out of the room, taking a rusty, serrated katana and strapping it to his back.

"So says the Hero Killer: STAIN!"

Next Chapter: The Hosu Incident Begins...

Yeah, you know that theory in the Joker Movie where it's possible that Arthur and Bruce are ACTUALLY related and it isn't a lie? Yeah, I'm using that for this fic because it brings a whole new element to Batman and Joker's rivalry.
