An Update About My Current Situation

Hey, guys! I know it's been a while and I know that you want to read the next chapter of SYRB. Trust me, I want that too. But, I am aftaid I will be out for a while or when I get the chance, I might update. You see, I am already on the process of finishing the 32nd chapter. A few revisions happened but that's already settled. I was even confident that I can upload it earlier than predicted. I was on track, I must say. But, as you can see, the world is in chaos right now. I must tell you that I am a nurse by profession here in the Philippines. If you are from here or haven't heard it yet, the Philippine government has put Metro Manila into a lockdown to contain and delay the spread of COVID-19 for a month. This lockdown is also being enforced to nearby provinces and islands. As a healthcare provider and being on the frontlines, my time has been devoted into helping our hospital, patients, and colleagues to the war against this deadly virus. I have been living in the hospital for 10 days now. I am far from my family and I ought not to go home with the fear that I am a carrier of this virus. So far, I think I am on the safe side because I am showing no symptoms and no known direct exposure. I hope to keep it that way. My mind is in shambles and all I can do now it to focus on the task at hand. The situation is still uncertain thus I do not know when I will be able to continue this story. I had hoped it was saved on my Files through my phone but it was not. Maybe when I get to hold my laptop again or clear my thoughts and type on my phone, I can get back to you. In the meantime, let's all be vigilant. Let's wash our hands, check ourselves and our loved ones. Let's be responsible in order to help humanity. When this is over, let's look back to the beauty this pandemic taught us. Let's value our life and appreciate the normalcy of the world. If you want to talk to me about this, your PM is highly appreciated. Until then, stay safe and stay strong. I will do that, too. Thank you for understanding.
