Lyrics are 'Daisy' by Jasper Sawyer.

"Hi everyone." Jay coughed out, nervously fidgeting, pulling off pieces of the white paper cup that was currently in his hand, wishing that Erin was here to provide the comfort that he needed.

Here he was. Jay Halstead was finally getting the help he needed at the Veteran support group.

A group of men and women, of all backgrounds set in a circle in a warehouse on a breezy Chicago evening.

He didn't want to be here. He would much rather be at home, with a beer in his hands, watching a game while Erin snuggled in to his chest. But he knew to get back to that. Get back to that level of trust with Erin, he needed to get better.

"My names Halstead. Jay Halstead."

"Hi Jay, and welcome. Wanna tell us about you, why you're here today?" The instructor, Mark asked him.

'Honest answer? No.' Jay thought to himself. But he needed to do this.

"Yeah, well um, I-." Jay began to stutter, unable to phrase what he wanted to say.

"Jay, breathe. This is a safe place. Share as little or as much as you'd like." Mark told him. "How about we start easy. What do you work as?"

"I'm a cop. Detective in the 21st district's intelligence unit." Jay said, a little more confidence in his voice.

"Good. Any relationships? Are you married? Have any children?" Mark asked.

"Yeah, I've a girlfriend, Erin. We're expecting a kid soon. A daughter. They're the reason I'm here."

"Why are they the reason?" Mark dug.

"Because I need to be able to be there for them. I was um- I was unfaithful to Erin. I hurt her and caused her a lot of pain."

"How did Erin take it? Did she understand your acting out?" Mark asked. "Does she understand your ptsd?"

"Yes, in a way."

Mark looked at him, indicating him to contuine. Jay honestly hated every bit of this.

"Well she had it tough growing up. I mean I got everything handed to me on a silver platter, while she had to go to hell and back just to eat. But she never dealt with ptsd from a solideres point of view. But with the whole drinking, drugs, sleeping around fiasco, she understood. I pulled her out of a hole when she started up again a few years ago. So Erin has been very understanding. My rock."

"So what changed? Why come to get help now?" Mark wondered.

"Well she's pregnant. And I abandoned both my girls, which no man should ever do."

"What do you feel when you think of Erin and your unborn chi-"

"Everything." Jay answered before Mark could finish. "She's my partner on the job, in life. She's going to be my partner when we enter parenthood, maybe even marriage ome day." Jay shyly added.

"It definitely sounds like Erin is the biggest part of your recovery, Jay. Not a lot of people are that lucky. Many depend on drugs, alcohol. You have Erin."

He was right.

Erin was his drug.

He was hers.

"I know. And I'm never not going to be grateful for her. Everytime I see her, it's like, like everything is going to be okay. I'm safe with her." Jay sighed, cheeks blushing at the 'awws' and supportive smiles from the group. "She even got me a support dog." Jay smiled, before revealing the next part. "She's not an animal person." Jay laughed.

He was right though.

Once he brought Erin to the zoo and well... let's just say things didn't go according to plan...

"She sounds like sunshine on a rainy day."

"Even on a sunny day." Jay added.

"I'm coming! Would you stop knocking!"

Erin banged on the hotel door of Charles Halstead.

After finally getting the address that his father was staying at from Will, Erin went to say her peace with Jay's father while Jay was at his support group. Well sort of peace...more 'ever come near us again I will murder you.'

"What do you-" Charles yelled, but immediately stopped when he saw who was standing at the door. His angered face being replaced with a slick smile.

"Got tired of my son?" He laughed.

"No." Erin spat. "I'm here to tell you to stay away from Jay."

"He's my son young lady, don't tell me how to deal with him!"

"Son? That's a bit far fetched, Mr Halstead."

"You have some attitude for such a small woman."

"Funny." Erin rolled her eyes sarcastically.

"Aren't I?"

"Listen, I don't have time for games, Charles. I'm coming here as a courtesy to you, telling you to stay away from Jay. You're making him sick. You're hurting him. He doesn't deserve it. I don't know much about your and Jays history, but God I do hope you can leave it and let Jay heal."

"You don't know what you're talking about, Erin. Didn't my son cheat on you with what's her name?Allie?"

That name seriously boiled her blood, but she completely ignored it, knowing Charles was just trying to get under her skin.

"I think I do know what I'm talking about. Come near us again, I will make sure you never see the daylight again." And with that Erin stormed off.

"You can't do anything!" Charles shouted.

That man didn't know the wrath that was Erin Lindsay.

"So when are they dropping the twins off?" Jay asked as he bent down to feed Milo.

It was the next day. It was April time by now. Erin had just hit week 26 in her pregnancy. The sun shined brightly over the city of Chicago and Erin and Jay would be babysitting their niece and nephew for the weekend. They were going to get a taste of their future.

"They should be here by noon."

"It's only 9, we can go for breakfast, have a walk down by the pier. It's pretty hot out, what you say?" Jay asked, running his hand through her hair. "We can bring Milo."

"Sounds good." Erin nodded. She played with the loose thread on his t-shirt.

She knew she had to tell him about the whole going to his dads hotel, but she was scared he'd get mad and it'd trigger something again.

"You ready?" He asked, pulling her from her thoughts.

She nodded, walking to the coffee table and picking up Milos blue leash. "Let's go."

xxxxxxxxxx

"You're very quite." Jay told Erin.

They stopped for breakfast at a little diner and were now walking along the pier, listening to the soft wush of the water.

They settled by some grass, near a big oak tree and Erin released Milos collar and threw a ball they'd brought so that Milo would be entertained. "I went to see your dad." She told him, looking as Milo chased the ball she threw.

"What? When??"

"Yesterday. I had to Jay. You've told my mother to stay away enough times and now it's my job to make sure you're okay and-"

"Hey, Erin breathe." Jay said, placing his hand on her arm, just as Milo came back wanting more attention, Erin throwi h the slimy ball once more. "We need to get out of Chicago for a while."

Jay laughed. "Like a babymoon?"

Erin just raised her eyebrows.

"We could go to-"

"I'm not going to Wisconsin, Halstead."

"It'd be good. We could ask Will and Natalie to come too?"

Erin sighed. A weekend away from Chicago with family, even if it was in Wisconsin, sounded bliss.

They needed to escape the stress that was Chicago, even if it was just for a weekend.

"I don't like mosquitoes." Erin muttered.

"I'll call Will and Nat." Jay winked.

xxxxxxxxxx

After a few more games of fetch it was nearing noon and Jay and Erin were on babysitting duty.

The pair began to stroll back along the pier so they could get home by the time Teddy and Mateo arrived with the twins, Jay having a hyper Milo's leash, when he spoke.

"What did you and my dad talk about?" Jay questioned.

Erin sighed. "I just warned him. And I'm sorry, I know I should of told you and-"

Erin was cut off by a kiss Jay planted on her lips.

It was the first 'proper' kiss they shared since the cheating incident. They kept kisses to the cheek, head etc. He knew Erin wasn't ready to be fully physical with him again and was overjoyed when he didn't feel her stiffen or pull away, instead countine to hold the kiss until the two were out of breathe.

"Thank you." Jay said.

"For what?"

"Never giving up on me." Jay recounted the exact words she'd told him after Nadia passed away and she went on the bender.

"Let's go." She smiled, taking his hand in hers.

Everything would be okay.

As long as they had their rocks.

Each other.

xxxxxxxxxx

"Nat and Will said they're in." Jay danced out of the kitchen, clearly excited for the weekend ahead.

"I swear Halstead, if I get bitten by one mosquito I will kill-" Erin didn't get to finish her threat as the doorbell rang.

"Hey guys!" She smiled as she opened the door, revealing the happy family of four that consisted of Teddy, Mateo, Lily and Logan. "Wow, it's only been a few weeks and they're after getting so big."

"Yep, growing big and strong." Mateo laughed.

"So what do you have planned for today?" Jay asked, as the group moved into the living room, Mateo having Lily, while Teddy handed Logan over to Erin.

"Hey little guy! Bet you missed your aunt Erin?" She cooed.

"We're gonna check out some of the places we miss in the city. Be tourists for the day." Mateo laughed, as him and Erin made light conversation, Teddy pulled Jay aside.

"Hey, Jay. How you doing. Er told me you went through a rough patch."

"Umm." Jay said, not knowing what to reply to the younger man. Was he about to kick his ass for hurting his sister? "I'm doing better. I'm getting the help I need. Your sister has been amazing. I never knew how much I needed her." Jay went red in the face.

Ever since he went to that veteran support group, he's been surprisingly more open and shared a lot more with people without realizing it.

"Good. She's a good rock." Teddy laughed. "Look after her. She deserves that."

"Always."

He would keep that promise.

He would look after Erin till the day he died, even after that.

"Babe, you ready?" Mateo called from the living room.

Jay smiled at the site of Erin, who was literally in baby heaven. She was sprawled on the couch with her feet on the coffee table, both babies resting on her chest, dozing.

"Let's go." Teddy said. "Bye, sis." Teddy went over and kissed Erins head. "Bye minions." He then kissed his children's heads.

"Thanks so much for doing this, guys." Mateo smiled at the door.

"Well, take as much time as you's need. She seems pretty content." Jay laughed, looking at Lindsay who was playing with Lily's tiny fingers.

"Wait until they get hungry, they'll be like their aunt Erin." Teddy smirked.

"Hey! I heard that." Erin pouted from the chair.

"Go, before she eats you two!" Jay laughed.

"Bye, thanks again." Mateo smiled.

"See yous soon!" Jay the shut the door, both babies starting to scream.

This was going to be a nightmare.

xxxxxxxxxx

"Open that mouth of yours, Loggy." Jay pleaded with his nephew.

Logan was currently in the highchair, Lily in Erins lap as they only had one highchair.

"How are you doing that?" Jay asked, perplexed.

Erin was a natural at this whole 'feeding a baby thing.'

"I practically raised their father. I know the tricks." Erin laughed as she put some more baby food into Lily's mouth.

"Well wanna tell-"

"Jay!!" Erin shouted.

"Crap." Jay sighed.

He was covered in baby food.

Logan got hold of the bowl.

Perfect.

Erin just burst out laughing, as Logan began to cry, as Jay just stood in the middle of the apartment, covered in guck.

"Go take a shower, I got this." Lindsay managed through fits of laughter.

"Yep." Jay muttered, slightly embarrassed, power walking to the bathroom, Erins laughs filling the apartment.

xxxxxxxxxx

"Hey-" Erin opened the door to her apartment, surprised at who she saw.

Trudy Platt, along with her two best friends, Kim and Hailey, who looked lowkey scared. Platt just marching into the apartment, Erin now noticing they all had one big box.

"Girlsss, hey." Erin made way so Kim and Hailey could invitingly make their way into the apartment, unlike Sargent Platt.

"Lindsay!" Platt startled. "Did you have the kid already!?" She looked toward Erins niece on the playmat in the living room, Logan suddenly rolling out from behind that chair, not being able to crawl quite yet.

"Two of them!? That's why you looked so huge."

"Platt!" Hailey and Kim scolded.

"First off all, I'm still pregnant." Erin began. "Second of all, they're my niece and nephew. And third of all, I'm not huge!!"

"Oh." Platt shrugged it off. "Where's chuckels?"

"Shower." Erin replied. "What's in the boxes?"

"Put them on the coffee table. Burgess you look like you're about to burst." Platt snickered.

"Sarge wanted to bring you some baby books." Hailey smirked.

"Baby books?... didn't know you were an expert on that." Erin coughed out.

"I'm an expert on everything, Lindsay." Platt winked.

"Now, time for some girl chat!"

"Lovely." Erin tried to smile, looking to Upton and Burgess who had picked up one of the babies each.

"Okay I have magazines on mom stuff and-" Platt was interrupted by none other than chuckles himself.

"Hey babe-oh." Jay stopped dead in his tracks.

"Chuckles, can I ask you something?" Platt hissed.

"Sure?"

"Do you've a vagina?"

"Em, um... no." He looked to Erin, then to the two other women, all looking as uncomfortable as him.

"Then OUT. This is girl talk, hon."

"Jay." Erin silently pleaded for help.

No way was she going to spend her day with Trudy Platt talking all things feminine. Along with all those magazines she saw of women in labor.

"Um, I think I'm going to take the babies for a little walk, um Mouse wanted to meet up and, um-"

Platt grew annoyed, wanting to jump straight into the chats with the ladies.

She stood up and took a baby out of Hailey's hand, handing it to Halstead, Jay putting Lily in her car seat, Platt then taking Logan out of Kim's hand, handing him to Jay, Jay once again putting Logan in his car seat.

"Have fun la-" Jay's eyes darted to a magazine on the coffee table, that was well... rather graphic. "dies." He finished his word and immediately left the apartment, two car seats in hand.

"Right! Where were we!?" Platt clapped her hands.

These ladies were in for something else.

xxxxxxxxxx

Jay decided to stay out for the day. Just so he could really let Erin enjoy her 'girls day.' He even went to meet Mouse for some lunch with the twins.

"Hey." Jay knocked at the door. It was 7pm and Teddy and Mateo would be here at 8pm.

"Erin." Jay called, walking into the apartment, stopping when he's saw Erin, and he couldn't help but smile at what he saw.

Erin Lindsay was a sight for sore eyes.

The 3 other women must've of left as Erin was sitting on the arm chair, alone, legs crossed, engrossed in what seemed to be 100 books. All seeming to be on mommy stuff.

"What has Platt done to you?" Jay jokingly laughed, though his smiled dropped when he saw the tears and horror in his girlfriends face. "Babe?"

"Jay. I can't do this." She sighed, dropping the book in her hand, anxiously running a hand through her hair.

Jay came over, placing the sleeping twins down in their carriers, then scooping Erin up on his lap so they could both sit on the small arm, her fitting perfectly on him. He wiped a few tears that had fallen onto her cheeks and buried his hand into her hair. "Can't do what, babe?"

"THIS!" She shouted, holding up a book that had a picture of a full on birth.

Every. Last. Detail.

"Jeez." Jay said, subconsciously.

"See! Even you think it's gross." She cried. "Platt told me I'd never be able to have sex again. I'm going to look like bozzo the clown." She buried her head into his chest, Jay shocked that she was this upset.

"Babe." Jay couldn't help but laugh into her hair. "You are beautiful, giving me a baby makes you that much more beautiful. And you certainly will be able to have sex."

"I won't."

"Erin. Why don't we put these books away, we don't have to worry about this for a few more weeks." Jay mumbled.

"No, you don't have to worry. "I won't be seeing any baby coming out of your vagina."

"You're going to be amazing in labor. I know it."

In fact, Erin was wrong. He has a lot to worry about. He knew Erin was determined to do this natural, which is 100x more painful. And seeing Erin in pain was by far Jay Halsteads biggest fear.

"Jay you don't understand. The videos Platt showed me. I don't know if that's humanly possible. For me anyway."

"Babe-"

"Jay you've seen the sonograms!! She has your head. It's the size of mars!"

Jay just raised his brows.

"Jayyyy." She moaned.

"Erin." He out his hands in her hers. "I know you better than anyone, right?"

Erin nodded. Jay even knew her better than Hank.

"And I know you're going to be a superstar. You've already gone 26 weeks in your pregnancy without a drop of coffee, medicine, anything. Not many women can do that. But you can, Er. You can, you did and I know you will."

Erin nodded. She's handled her pregnancy like a troop. She was determined to raise her daughter free from any type of drug, even if it was 'just medicine.

"I'm insanely proud of you. You know that. Thank you for doing this." He indicated towards her bump.

Erin was about to reply when they heard a knock on the door.

"That's probably T." She got up and wiped her tears. She bent down and gave him a soft kiss on the lips and mumbled a little "thank you."

She bent down and picked up the twins carries, both of them still fast asleep.

Jay heard Erin, Teddy and Mateo mumble a few words and Erin shut the door. Her immediately going to sit in his lap.

"I'm ready for her, sort of." Erin smiled. "I just want her here."

"I know, baby. I know."

Jay too, couldn't wait to be a family of 3.

Him.

Erin.

Baby H.

xxxxxxxxxx

"Yo Lindsay, would you mind keeping the porn for after work hours?" Adam chuckled.

Everyone was currently in the bullpen. Another boring day, with no cases, just catching up on paperwork.

Erin currently had her feet up reading one of the baby books Platt had gave her.

Though at first the books definitely scared her, her and Jay even have grown quite engrossed in them.

"Excuse me?" Erin asked, as everyone looked to her.

"Your book." Adam nodded his head. "Quite graphic for the work place."

Erin turned the book around to see a pair of breasts on the book. "It's breastfeeding, you idiot."

"Still." Adam stuck his tongue out at her.

"Platt really got to you the other day." Kim laughed.

"Platt? What is she giving you baby books on?" Al asked, sticking his head out from behind the shelf.

"She just wanted to help. Help me, know my options."

Adam just burst out laughing.

"What?!" Erin asked.

"That woman." Adam shook his head. "I heard breastfeeding is a bitch."

"Adam! Would you stop being so nosey." Antonio laughed.

"She's the one broadcasting it." He murmured.

"I need to be informed, Ruzek. I'm not pumping harmful chemicals that is baby formula into my baby girl."

"But you're going to let her suck on the same thing Jay-" Adam began.

"Ruzek." Hank warned. This was his daughter they were inappropriately talking about.

"Well don't say. What Lindsay is doing is her and Jay's business and is also very amazing and strong." Kim shot at Adam.

"Apologize for being rude, Ruzeyyyy." Hailey smirked.

"I'm sorry for being rude, inconsiderate and nosey, mamabear." Adam slightly mocked.

"Adam." Jay warned.

"What! Linds I love you, but you're gone crazy. No coffee, alcohol and unnatural sugars around you. No cursing. You made me literally get rid of my cologne! Oh and your 'no bad vibes' thing. Erin the child can't feel vibes."

"I'm giving you a niece, Ruzek!" Lindsay shook her head. "Plus your cologne made me nauseous."

"Everything does." Adam muttered.

"Adam!!!" Everyone shouted.

Erin and Adam's banter was the best thing in the world.

xxxxxxxxxx

"Adam is harmless." Erin laughed.

Her and Jay were walking up to the apartment after work. It was a little after 10, they were coming home a little later than usual since they got pulled into a kidnapping case. It thankfully being solved in just a few hours, with everyone as safe as can be.

"What he was saying. Is that our plan?" Jay asked.

They haven't really talked about much surrounding the baby for when she actually got here, and they needed to start.

"Jay, you grew up on coco pops, me on.. well drugs." She smiled. "I want her to be as healthy and happy as can be, and for her early life, that's coming from us."

Jay nodded.

"You okay with that?"

"Wouldn't have it any other way." He kissed her forehead.

Mommy-mode Erin was his favorite.

Another decision down.

Now they needed a name!

xxxxxxxxxx

"Who's ready for Wisconsin, bitchesss!!!"

"William Halstead!!!" Natalie Manning scolded her boyfriend.

"What the HELL are they doing here!!?" Erin raised her voice, taking her heads off of Jay's chest.

"Shit, we over slept." Jay sighed, checking his phone. 8am.

"Yo! Big bro." Will Halstead burst into their bedroom, eyes falling on the semi-naked couple.

"Will!" Nat, Erin and Jay all scolded at once, Will immediately shutting the door.

"They nakey, nakey." The couple heared Will giggle to Natalie, her telling him to stop acting like a child.

"Yo! Barbie and Ken! You two ready?"

"Turn the television on, Will! We will be out in a few minutes!" Jay shouted.

"Right, well hurry up! You two can live in sin in Wisconsin."

Jay and Erin just looked at each other and shook their heads.

"You're taking that key off of him. He's like a child in a candy store." Erin whined.

Jay just nodded his head in agreement.

Will was an idiot.

xxxxxxxxxx

"So how you manage getting a weekend off from Voight?" Will laughed.

For once in his life, Jay was given the privilege to drive. Long legged Will, sat in the passenger seat, while the two women sat in the back.

"Erin gets anything she wants from Hank." Jay laughed, earning an eye roll from Lindsay. "She even convinced him to watch Milo with just a few bats of her eyelids."

"No, we just took a few days off, actually. He was fine with it. And Hank offered to watch Milo FYI."

"Sure he was fown with it." Will muttered.

How far now? 26 weeks?" Natalie asked.

"Yep, only 14 more to go."

"I'm going to be the best uncle. Your kid is going to be begging to live with me and Nat, right?" Will looked towards his girlfriend.

"Whatever you say." Natalie rolled her eyes. "You have a birthing plan yet?"

No, not really. I mean definitely in the hospital."

"You're doing it med free, right? Hailey was telling me you've been a troop." Nat smiled.

"That's the plan." Erin smiled, Jay winking at her in the mirror.

"You go girl. I wouldn't be able to do that." Natalie smiled.

"Cause you've the pain tolerance of a fish, Nat." Will laughed.

Jay suddenly realized how happy he was when he heared Nat, Will and Erin burst out laughing until they were in pain.

All these simple things, with people who meant the most to him, was what he needed for his recovery.

xxxxxxxxxx

"Can you believe it, brother? Me and you both have chicks AND kids at the same time?" Will asked.

"Don't refer to your girlfriend as a chick. It's disrespectful." Jay scolded.

The two were sat in the car outside a little gas station at the entrance to Wisconsin, Erin and Nat having ran into the ladies.

"Didn't know you were all about feminism." Will laughed.

"Hey, I have a daughter I need to raise into a little badass, while you've a son you need to raise to respect women."

"Whatever you say, man. But seriously. It's crazy. Erin she's really good for you."

"Natalie is good for you too."

"Dad, he um-"

"Will. This is going to be a good weekend. Me, you, Erin and Natalie. Please, I don't want any mention of him."

"I'm just saying, your girl really shut him up."

"Knowing her, I'm sure she did." Jay shook his head.

"Yeah." Will sighed, Nat and Erin now making their way back, hopping into the backseats.

"Well, what we waiting for? Baby H to get here?!" Nat asked, putting her hand on Erin's bump. "Let's get to this cabin!!"

xxxxxxxxxx

"Not bad Halstead's." Nat laughed as they pulled into the cabins driveway.

"You look shocked, Lindsay." Jay mocked.

"Well, when you told me you were bringing me to a cabin in northen Wisconsin, I sort suspected a shack."

Infact the cabin was more like a home. There were glass windows all around the cabin, along with oak panels and snow softly fell around them, even though it was spring.

"Let's get inside!" Jay grabbed his and Erin's bags from the trunk and put his arm around Erin's shoulder. "Remember this is where we're retiring too."

His heart melted as Erin looked up to him, given him those famous Erin dimples, her eyes so full of love for him. He would even testify to the fact that he saw a little nod. "Sounds like a plan, babe."

xxxxxxxxxx

"Gosh, Lindsay you are awful at monopoly." Will laughed.

The 4 were sat in the living room. Jay and Will had gone out and gotten some logs from the huge back garden and lit the fire. They sat on a fluffy carpet while a rerun of friends played on the large flatscreen, as they played monopoly.

"Shut up, William. Board games have never been my thing. I'm more a playing with murderers and drug cartels over monopoly kind of gal."

"She's pretty good at scrabble." Jay muttered, obvious Erin only understanding the joke. Him smiling when Erin coughed on her drink. "I mean pretty unreal."

"Scrabble, huh." Will laughed. "I'd love to play with you sometime." Will obviously thinking that they literally meant scrabble. Not sex.

"I need to go the ladies." Erin coughed out.

"Second door on the left." Jay reminded, Erin giving him the 'I'm going to the kill you' look.

"She looked mad at you." Natalie laughed, rolling the dice.

"She's always mad at him. You remember that time she locked you in a supply closet at med when you's were interviewing that witness." Will nearly fell onto Natalie laughing.

Jay grunted. "That's even before she got pregnant and became crazy."

"That sounds like the Lindsay I know." Nat laughed.

"I heard that, Jay Halstead. And may I add, you got me pregnant, not me." Erin yawned, coming back from the bathroom.

"My brother tiring you out?" Will joked when he saw Erin yawn.

"All day everyday, William." Erin winked seductively at Jay.

Jay smirked when he saw Will and Natalie's faces fall. "What can I say? I'm the man." Jay laughed, smacking his chest, jokingly.

"Think it's time we hit the hay, Nat. What you say?"

"Sounds good." Nat coughed. "Night lovebirds, night little H." She hugged Erin and Jay goodnight, Will doing the same, the two doctors walking towards their room.

"Did I win?" Erin asked hopefully, indicating to the boardgame Jay was currently putting away.

"Nearly."

"2nd?"

"4th." Jay smiled, looking up at his girl. She came last.

"I hate you. I'm going to bed." Erin stuck her tongue out.

"Love you too, darling." Jay winked.

"I know." Erin smiled cheekily, giving him a seductive smile as she walked towards the room.

Jay just shook his head. "Mad woman."

xxxxxxxxxx

Jay came in to the bedroom and saw Erin sitting at the dresser brushing out her wet hair, clearly just having gotten out of the shower.

He stayed out in the living room a little longer, watching the end of a hawks game as the fire burned out.

He went over to her, placing a soft kiss on her cheek. "Your hairs after getting really long." He noticed, running his hand through it. "Wow, and thick."

"Yeah, it's these damn hormones." She groaned, as she struggled to get the comb through her tangled hair. "It's awful."

"No, it suits you. You look adorable." Jay smirked, lying onto their bed, Erin just raising her eyebrows.

But it was true.

Erin may or may not of had a mini breakdown at the beginning of the pregnancy, worrying about how much her body would change.

But in Jays eyes, if possible, she was even more beautiful carrying their daughter.

Sure there was some perks of her pregnancy.

Erin really had that 'pregnancy glow' that women supposedly got when they were pregnant.

Her hair was thick and long. Her chest was fuller. Her skin was clear and glowing. She was all sappy and emotional, which Jay loved. Needy Erin was his favorite.

He of course loved all these side effects, but the one he loved the most was her expanding stomach that nurtured a home for their baby girl.

Erin just groaned at him, practically falling into his embrace on the bed.

"Want to watch television?" Jay asked, scrunching her hair.

"Mhm." Erin muttered, eyes drooping every few seconds. It was nearing midnight and she was exhausted after the long day of travel.

Jay switched on the telly, looking for something interesting to watch, finally settling on a rerun episode of the x-factor.

They laughed at funny failed auditions, when after the break a nervous looking man came out on the stage, the couple both dozing.

He began to sing a song that neither of them knew, but that definitely caught their attentions.

There is a girl so lovely to me

She is the reason, I dare to believe

Love can be simple

Pure and good some time

And I

Take her heart with me wherever I go

She's one in a million, she helps me to grow

The life that she gives, is something I need to survive

And I

"He's good." Erin murmered, Jay smiling. Erin normally loved to take the piss out of contestants.

I'd go to sun and back

For her love

I'd fight in a thousand wars, to collapse

There in her arms

Pretty my baby, I can't stop calling her daisy

She is my whole world, she is my heart forever my girl

Her eyes take me, back to the moment she saved me

Conquering my dreams

Honest and true wrote this for you

Daisy

"What's this song called, again?" Jay asked.

It was a good, catchy song.

"Daisy, I think they said."

"Your favorite flower." Jay noted.

"Indeed." Erin smiled.

It was sorta romantic that he knew her favorite flower.

No empty spaces

No empty spaces

Fills them all with one of her smiles

She is a temple, meant to be worshiped, adored

Adored

Makes me remember something I've seen

Deep in the fields, in east Tennessee

Timeless and perfect

Beautiful, charming and true

Those daisies remind me of you

I'd go to the sun and back

For her love

I'd fight in one million wars, to collapse

There in her arms because

"Daisy." Jay said, sitting up.

"What?" Erin scrunched her brows, not knowing why he was repeating the name of the song.

"It's a pretty name."

Erin just looked at him, smiling.

"It is a pretty name." Erin agreed, understanding where he was getting at. "And we need a baby name."

"Daisy." Jay said.

"Daisy." Erin said.

"You like it?" Jay asked.

"I mean daisies are my favorite flower." Erin winked.

"We haven't even considered any other names." Jay laughed.

"Daisy Halstead." Erin said, Jay and Erin not being able to keep the smiles off of their faces.

It sounded adorable.

"Is your name Daisy?" Jay cooed, lifting up Erin's top so he could kiss her tummy, then looking up to her. "Are we seriously choosing a name, I mean that's a- a big step."

"She'll- Daisy. Maybe Daisy? Will need a middle name. Any ideas?" Erin asked.

"What about Camille, name her after your mom?"

Erin froze. Jay wanted to name their baby after Camille. He considered Camille her mother, not Bunny.

"Really?" Erin asked, feeling her pregnancy emotions come alive.

"Well she's the one to thank for you. Plus it could be a nice gesture to Voight. He's done a lot for us."

"What about your mom?"

"Well... have I ever even told you what my moms name was?" Jay laughed.

Erin scrunched her brows. "No... actually."

"Lydia Daphne Halstead." Jay smiling at the mention of his moms name. "Daphne, her middle name, was after her mom. My grandma. But everyone just called her gradma Daisie. With an ie."

Erin smiled. "That's-thats beautiful." Jay wiped a tear that had fallen onto her cheek. "I like that. Honoring our moms."

"So you don't want, you know." Jay coughed. "You know who part of it?" Jay asked nervously.

"Who? Bunny?" Erin snorted. "I'd rather name her fungi."

"Sorry."

"No need. I like your first plan." Erin quickly brushed the topic of Bunny off, wanting to continue with the talk of their baby's name.

"Daisy Camille Halstead." Jay stated.

"Daisy Camille Halstead." Erin repeated.

"Daisy Camille Halstead." Jay repeated, again.

"Are we going to keep on repeating it until she gets here?" Erin laughed, moving her lips up to his.

"Yep." Jay murmered against her soft lips.

"Did we seriously just choose our daughter's name. First try, no arguments?" Erin asked when they broke apart from the kiss.

"I think we did."

"Wow. Go us." Erin laughed. "So we're doing this? Baby H's name is Daisy?"

"Daisy-Baisy."

"Oh don't start with nicknames! I'll be choosing them." Erin smirked.

"It's 5 letters, not much to work on." Jay laughed.

"Dais, simple."

Jay just smiled. "I love you so much. You and Daisy."

"I love you too, Jay Halstead." She kissed him, grunting against his lips in pain, Jay looking at her, worry evident in his eyes.

"You okay?"

"Baby H- Daisy." She smiled. "As her feet deep in my ribs."

"It's her way of saying. Hi I'm Daisy." Jay laughed.

"We can't wait to meet you, Daisy." Erin cooed. "Get your feet out of my ribs and your daddy will buy you anything you want."

"I will?"

"You will!"

"As long as it ain't a boyfriend, Daisy!"

"You're an idiot." Erin laughed.

"An idiot you love."

"That's correct, right Daisy?" Erin rubbed her stomach.

She's never felt so blessed.

Sooo, you all like the name?? I was honestly really unsure. I was going to wait until the baby was born because I was so unsure, but I though screw it! This kid needs a name and I thought of this idea as daisies are Erins favvv flowers!

Also do yous like the whole recovery-thing with Jay? I think it's interesting to fall into Jay's spiral and his point of view because they did that with Erin on the show, but now the tables have turned!

Anyways let me know what you think! please review!! Keep safe and be kind babes! Until next time,

All my love x
