Yamcha awakens with a massive headache and a soreness throughout his body. "What happened?" He says groggily outloud.

"You fell down my stairs." Bulma said calmly, handing him a bag of ice. He yelped. "Look, I get that you're all shy and stuff, and it's cute! But we're going to have to talk to each other if we're to work together on my adventure" Yamcha laughed nervously.

"Uh, where's Puar?" He managed to ask profusely sweating. The cat, who had been sleeping at the foot of the bed, woke at the sound of its name.

"Present!" Puar chirped sleepily. She rubbed her eyes and saw that Yamcha had woken up. "Oh boy, Yamcha! You took quite the fall! I was worried..."

Yamcha laughed "Hey...uh... Bulma...do you think Puar and I can have a minute?" He said refusing to look in Bulma's direction, and instead mainting direct eye contact with Puar.

"Uh sure...I have to go check on Oolong anyway." She said confused.

Once she was out of earshot Yamcha whispered, "What the hell, Puar? Why are we in the girl's room?" He stammered, pulling the blankets to his face.

"I panicked, you were hurt, and I figured, that once you were up we could case the place and make out in the night with our goods!" Puar chirped at the last part, hoping it would please Yamcha.

"By the way, did you hear what she said? She thought I was cute!" Yamcha said swooning. "Damn it! I wish I wasn't so nervous around her...Hey Puar...crazy idea...what if we stuck around for a bit?" He laughed nervously.

"But what about world domination?!" Puar chirped.

"What? I've never wanted to rule the world! I eventually want to do what no riches can do for me. I want to get married! Or at least be able to talk to a cute girl without becoming a mess. I think hanging around here I can get a grip on all that." He said, mostly trying to convince himself. He then gets up and proceeds to, very carefully, walk down the stairs.

"We're going where?!" Oolong screams from the front of the car, hitting the brakes extremely hard. Yamcha lurches forward and falls down the steps again.

"What is it now?" Bulma sighs.

"Fire Mountain is literally on fire! The whole thing is burning! or so they say..."

"Oh that can't be true!" Bulma says crossing her arms.

"And if that is not enough it's home to the Ox King..." by this point Yamcha had gotten up and overheard the conversation.

"THE OX-KING?! Why are we going to see the Ox-King?" the panic palpable in Yamcha's voice.

"How bad can this guy be?" Bulma retorted, agitated. "We have strong...A strong man here, and two people who can shape shift. We'll be fine." Oolong refused to drive. Yamcha chuckled nervously, trying to think of something to tell Bulma. Bulma sighed. "Fine!" She said as she pushed Oolong out of the driver seat and took over. She stopped. "Actually, we can switch cars now." She said, as she ushered them all out.

Yamcha closed his eyes. "Hey Bulma, I just wanted to say..." He started. Bulma was too busy putting the house back into the capsule that she didn't hear a word he said.

"Huh did you say something? Sorry I was focused on getting the house back into the DynoCap." She laughed. Yamcha muttered and stayed quiet. She took out the capsule for her car, and told them to pile in and buckle up, and they were off.

They arrive at Fire Mountain and stand in confusion. Bulma is silently contemplating how and where she is going to find the dragon ball, while Oolong and Yamcha argue over the sanity of the plan. Yamcha stops, realizing he has no idea what the adventure is for.

"Wait, Bulma.. " He says closing his eyes. "Why are we even here?"

Bulma is laughs nervously, "Well, we're here because..." She is cut off by a rumbling.

"Who trespasses on my land?" A deep voice bellows out. A giant man steps out scanning the area. He appears to be the size of a house and is wearing a helmet with horns on his head. " I see you theives! There's a pig, a cat, a woman, and the lead theif!" I see you behind that rock! You theives thought you could steal my treasure." He bellowed out again.

"Actually we're hear on a quest, we swear we aren't trying to steal from you mister.

"Liar!" he yelled out.

"No! I swear!" Bulma yelled out. "We're uh..." she looked at Yamcha and Oolong, and sighed. "They're bound to know eventually," she thought to herself. "We're for one of these..." She showed the Ox-King a dragon ball.

"Ah yes, I did see one in my castle. But that Proves it! You will pay you theives" He rushed at them, and they scattered.

"Prepare to face me!" He yelled charging at them once more. Oolong and Bulma manage to escape behind a rock.

"What are these damn dragon balls you want so badly, Bulma?" Oolong stated angrily.

"Well rumor has it, if you gather all seven, they will grant any wish you want" Bulma stammered out crawling to a new hiding spot.

"They do WHAT?!" Oolong screamed, momentarily forgetting where he was. Bulma snatched him up and put her arm around him trying to keep him quiet. Meanwhile the Ox-King has cornered Yamcha, forcing the bandit to spring into action.

"What have I gotten myself into!" Yamcha thought to himself. As he narrowly missed one of the Ox-King's punches. It looked like he had no other choice. He was going to have to fight the Ox-King. He summoned all his courage and prepared his strategy. He dodged the attacks, hoping to find an opening. He side-stepped the attacks and rushed the Ox King, landing a punch on his knee. Unfazed, the Ox King kicked him, sending him back three feet. He crawled back and started his wolf fang fist, which caused the Ox King to back pedal. He kept pressing with punches and kicks. He was starting to make the Ox-King sweat just a bit, but then he missed a hit. WHAM! A fist connected with his face, sending Yamcha flying into debris near Puar and Bulma. He crumpled to the ground, barely able to move.

"Yamcha!" Puar and Bulma yelled. Puar flew out to check and see if Yamcha was okay. Oolong started to run away from the mountain. "Why does it have to be me?" She said sighing. She mustered all the courage she could and assumed one of the stances that Gohan taught her as she stepped out to protect Yamcha. "Oh boy, I hope this works!" She sighed and rushed the Ox-King. A giant hand held her back.

"Who taught you that fighting stance?!" The ox-king asked.

"Uhh... a man named Gohan" Bulma stated, confused by the turn of events. The ox-king laughed a hearty laugh.

"Well why didn't you say you were a student of Gohan's? Gohan and I go wayy back we trained together under Master Roshi!" This shocked Bulma more than anything else about this exchange.

"You mean that old pervert, was your teacher too?" She was in disbelief.

"Ahhh, you know Master Roshi, too?!" Ox King proclaimed with excitement. "Like I said, he was my martial arts master! Maybe you can help me! In exchange for your assistance, I'll let you take that Dragon Ball." Bulma nodded. "Master Roshi has the Bansho Fan, a device that could help finally fan these flames out!" The ox-king had switched from angry, to desperate, both of which terrified Bulma. She nodded in fear. "Oh! Before I forget, I sent my little Chi-Chi off to get the fan from Roshi. Can you find my Chi-Chi on your way to get the Bansho fan too?" He shows her a picture, which Bulma asks to borrow.

Bulma begrudgingly agrees and goes to bring Roshi back. She opens a dynocapsule with a speeder and takes off. She quickly finds Chi-Chi and shos her the picture, and takes her with her to get the fan from Roshi.

They arrive rather quickly, and Bulma immediately demands the fan.

"Well hi to you too!" Roshi says as Bulma begins searching his house. "Hey Turtle, where did I put the Bansho Fan?" he yells into the house. Turtle tells Roshi that he was using the fan as a coaster, and it was ruined. Roshi remembered and then turned to tell Bulma the news.

"I'm not convinced you're really Master Roshi." Chi-Chi spoke up.

"Who's the little girl?" Roshi demanded.

"My name is Chi-Chi and my dad is the Ox-King. He says a great master trained him and made him, strong, but there's no way that person he is talking about is you!" She said in a matter-of-fact manner.

"Oh you're OX's daughter? Well I assure you little girl that I am the man your dad was talking about."

"Then you shouldn't have a problem proving it!" She said, stamping her foot.

Roshi thought about it for a second, and decided he would indulge Chi-Chi. He started to charge up a Ki blast, "Ka-me-ha-me-HA!" He yelled as he shot the blast across the ocean, causing waves to rise and crash into the island. Chi-Chi gasped, impressed and satisfied with the results. Even Bulma stood, mouth agape.

"Ok, so why did you both come hollering about the Bansho fan?" Roshi asked. Bulma and Chi-Chi explained the situation, trying to rush Roshi to help.

"Ok. I'll meet you there to help. But only after I get to see some panties!" He cackled with perverted laughter. Bulma punched him, while Chi-Chi kicked his shins. "Pervert!" they yelled simultaneously. They started to walk away towards the car until Turtle called out.

"You'll have to take him with you!" Roshi protested, calling out to Nimbus instead. He tried to sit on the cloud, but fell through.

"What's that?" Bulma and Chi-Chi ask. Roshi explains and the two girls decide to try it out for themselves, curious with the prospect of riding a cloud. Bulma falls through, but Chi-Chi is able to ride it. Roshi sighs,

"Well, you can ride it there, I guess.." Roshi says, embarrassed that he couldn't ride it. "Oh that reminds me some woman and her dog, where looking for the dragon balls. You wouldn't happen to have run into anyone like that now, would you?" They tell him that they haven't and quicly rush him so that they could leave.

On their way back to Fire Mountain, they encounter some hitchhikers. Bulma stops, but Roshi tells her that the hitchhikers are the woman and dog he was talking about earlier. The two near the car, but then the woman pulls a gun out.

"Get out and hand us the dragon balls!" The woman yells. Roshi leaps into the air and knocks the gun out of the woman's hand. He then charges up his Kamehameha move and launches them off into the Horizon.

"Ok girlie, let's get back to those boobies! I mean, let's get back to Fire Mountain!" He laughs to himself.

"Master Roshi, thank you so much for coming!" The ox king bellows as the three land. The Ox-King explains the situation and then Roshi launches the Kamehameha, destroying the mountain. Roshi decides to let Chi Chi have the Nimbus cloud as an apology to the Ox-King for destroying his home. The ox-king then asks Roshi if his daughter could train with him, later down the line.

Roshi pauses for a second and then gives Ox the thumbs up, stating that he will take her on as a student of the Turtle School. With that he calls to Baba the Fortuneteller and heads back to Kame House. Ox King thanks Bulma for bringing Roshi to stop the flames and tells her that she will definitely make a good friend for Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi agrees and asks her dad permission to go on the mission with Bulma. She wants to train and get stronger as well. Ox King allows her to go, and bids the gang farewell, as he starts working on rebuilding his castle. They bid their farewells and head off to the next location.

Chi Chi asks Bulma if they can spar, as they enter a new town. Bulma is reluctant to do so. Something about this little girl, makes her feel worried that she'd lose in a fight with her. Yamcha tries to humor Chi Chi and says that he will spar with her, and says that maybe he can teach the both of them some moves. Chi Chi bows and then jumps and punches Yamcha square in the face. He yells out in pain and then gets into a fighting stance. "Lucky punch!" He says, more so out of embarrassment and anger that he let a little girl punch him, especially in front of Bulma.

He launches an attack and Chi-Chi begins to dodge his moves, and runs away. She then turns back around and rushes him from behind. Yamcha is caught off guard again and this time she knocks him to the ground. He starts to power up and then dodges her next two attacks and almost lands a kick, which throws her off her balance.

He rushes over to kick her, but Bulma yells out, "OK that's enough you two, let's not tire ourselves out." looking slightly annoyed at Yamcha. They listen, and Yamcha starts apologizing, noticing that Bulma is a little annoyed with him. They are then approached by two men in police uniforms and bunny ears.

"You got to pay the tax if you're gonna visit this town!" They gruffly stated, holding out guns. "This city here is under the protection of the Master Carrot and the rabbits. " They say, turning off the safety on their weapons. Chi Chi launches her boomerang, which cuts the guns in half. "Oh just wait until we get Master Carrot." They yell back behind them as they took off.

Yamcha couldn't quite place his finger on it, but he had heard that name before. Shortly after that strange encounter, the men are see again, rushing to let the man in the backseat of the limo out. Out strolled a giant rabbit. Yamcha remember in time,to rush them all out.
