Revenge

"You are out of your damn mind if you think you're going anywhere near my kids." Thea spat, "I swear to God I'm gonna kill you." She shook her head.

"Well maybe for future reference you won't follow your dumb parents, and take better care of your kids." Janet shrugged as Punk looked across at Cassie who was looking at him, leaning her head back on the chair.

"What do you want?" Punk asked, "You want me to go… to go move something? To go deal again? Fine. I'll do it." He shook his head, "You let the girls go, you let April go and you don't touch the kids." He said, "And you got me." He nodded as Janet smiled.

"You seemed to have misheard me. I don't want you." Janet said, "You're a liability. These kids don't know nothing about anything. They're gonna grow up and they're gonna be what April should have been." She nodded as Jude looked across at her.

"You're dying tonight." Jude vowed as Janet smiled.

"So many threats from a family with so much to lose." Janet smiled, "So many threats from a family to a woman holding a gun." She held her gun, "You're brave, I'll give you all that." She nodded.

"You're so scared of losing this business." AJ shook her head, "It's not even a business, it's slavery." She spat as Janet laughed a little.

"You always were dramatic, April." Janet shook her head.

"It is." AJ said, "You trafficked Sam. Someone who was supposed to be your best friend. Why? Because she wanted better for herself? For her kids?" She questioned, "How many people do you have working for you right now that… that don't even wanna be there? That are too afraid of a bullet to tell you they want out."

"Nobody wants out. Why would they? It's easy money, and a lot of it." Janet nodded.

"You don't like the money. You just like being in charge." AJ said, "Even more so now dad is gone."

"You shut your mouth." Janet warned.

"You're probably glad he's dead. Now this is all yours." AJ said.

"I said shut up!" Janet warned again, pointing her gun at AJ who stared across at her.

"You put your hands on any of my grandchildren, you're gonna die. You were dying anyway but… you're gonna die slowly, and painfully." AJ nodded as Janet smiled.

"Yeah, cause you're all doing such a fantastic job of killing me right now, huh?" Janet scoffed, "Anyway, I'm not putting my hands on your grandchildren. I have hit men taking care of that."

"What?" Jude shook her head, "What are you talking about?"

"Sorry about your husbands, in advance." Janet nodded.

Sean had moved the man's body from the kitchen into the living room, keeping Mirren in his eyesight on her high chair at the kitchen door. His heart was still racing, thinking of a million different things, thinking about his wife, if this was a threat, if this was part of Janet's plan. Then he thought about the fact someone had come into his house and tried to take his daughter, right in front of him. His blood was boiling hot.

He paced the living room, holding the gun in his hand as he looked over at the man unconscious on the floor. He then began to hear the sound of a phone ringing. He rushed over, patting the man down and grabbing the ringing phone from his pocket, swiping it and answering it.

"Give me good news." Janet spoke into the phone, having it on loud speaker, grinning with a chip on her shoulder as she looked over at Jude who had tears in her eyes.

"Sorry, no can do." Sean said, a little out of breath as Jude's head shot up, "I uh… I'm assuming you wanna talk to your guy?" Sean asked, crouched down on the living room floor, "He's taking a little nap right now." He nodded as Jude shut her eyes over with relief.

"Oh, he is?" Janet asked calmly, trying not to show how livid she was.

"Sean is Mirren ok?" Jude yelled.

"Shut up!" Janet yelled.

"Jude?" Sean stood up as he heard his wife's voice, "Mirren's fine. She's safe." He said.

"What a shame." Janet spoke into the phone.

"You do anything to my wife I swear-"

"Oh, she's as good as dead, sweetie." Janet assured him calmly, hanging up and looking over at Jude who was smiling smugly.

"How's your plan working out for you?" Jude asked.

"Well it's certainly changing." Janet nodded.

"Where is Cassie? And… And her sisters?" Theo asked, looking on at the man he'd shot in the ankle.

"Fuck you." The man spat as Theo hit him across the face with his gun, grabbing him by the neck to look up at him.

"Where are they?!" Theo yelled as Dominic walked into the living room.

"Jesus Christ…" Dominic whispered to himself as he looked at the dead man on the ground, the other on the couch getting beaten by Theo.

"Go stay with the kids." Theo told him, "Stay with them." He ordered as Dominic nodded, not taking any risks, knowing Theo had a lot more experience with this stuff than him, backing up into the kitchen where the kids were.

"They're gonna die." The man nodded as Theo grabbed him by the throat, choking him out, taking all the air from him as he watched him slowly fade out, pushing him down on the couch aggressively and pacing the living room, running his hands through his hair and taking a deep breath.

He picked up on a phone ringing, walking over to the man on the couch, finding his phone and picking it up immediately.

"Talk to me." Janet said, still confident as Theo shook his head.

"They're a little busy right now, but sure, we can talk." Theo nodded as Cassie lifted her head a little, looking over at Janet.

"It's you." Janet spat angrily.

"Yeah, it's me, bitch." Theo nodded as Cassie smiled a little, "You can tell Thea her husband and kids are safe." He said as Thea let out a cry of relief, "And you can also let them all go if you wanna live."

"Is that a policeman making a death threat?" Janet asked.

"Yeah. I promise you aren't getting away this time." Theo said, "Let them all go. Now."

"Well no, because now I'm mad. And they're all just sitting here, begging for me to kill them so… I'll pass on the letting them go thing." Janet nodded, "I'll start with Cassie." She tormented, immediately hanging up and throwing the phone over at the wall angrily.

"Maybe you just... didn't think your plan through." Punk looked up at her. It was a relief to know the rest of their family were safe, especially given what Janet's intentions were. He could see Janet showing signs of stress and anger for the first time as she realised the power wasn't entirely in her hands anymore.

Meanwhile Punk looked over at Cassie who was nodding down to the table at him as he looked down, noticing what she was nodding at, even in her bruised and beaten state.

"I will get them." Janet assured them, placing her hands on the table, "I'll get them myself." She promised, letting out a sudden scream as Punk stuck a fork in her hand. Meanwhile Cassie extended her leg and kicked her on the arm hard, causing the gun to fall to the ground. Having her hands tied behind her back didn't restrict her legs.

She kicked her again on the face as Janet fell over. AJ immediately ran over to Thea and Jude, untying their hands whilst Punk got Cassie.

"Are you ok?" Punk asked frantically, kissing Cassie's head as he untied her hands.

"Stay with her." Cassie said, grabbing Janet's gun from the floor, "Just stay with her, don't let her move." She said, wiping the blood from her face as she ran out of the dining room, checking around the area as she looked out the window, noticing the cars which had taken her and her sisters here were still outside with the three men in them.

"Are you both ok?" AJ asked Thea and Jude who nodded, turning her attention over to Janet who was on the floor, she immediately ran over to her, grabbing her up by the head, "Get up!" AJ yelled, grabbing her by the head and throwing her into the table.

"I'm gonna check on Cassie." Punk told Thea and Jude who nodded to him, watching him run off whilst Thea and Jude watched their mother grab Janet from the table, throwing her into the kitchen onto the ground. They wanted some of that action too.

Punk ran out into the entrance, looking out the window as he heard a gunshot, looking on at Cassie crouched down behind a car, one of the men on the ground dead whilst the other two hid behind the opposite side.

He ran to the opposite end of the house, opening up one of the windows and jumping out, quietly creeping around behind the men, so they couldn't see him.

He kept quiet, tiptoeing almost until he was directly behind them, smashing one of their faces onto the back of the car whilst kicking the other one, grabbing their guns and shooting them both dead as Cassie looked round, noticing her father was there to help her.

"It's ok." Punk gasped, coming out from behind the car as Cassie looked over at him, "They're dead." He nodded, watching as Cassie raised her gun at him, pulling the trigger as Punk turned around, noticing a man behind him about to shoot him which she successfully shot down, covering for him to keep him safe, "That's a… that's a good aim." Punk nodded, impressed, as Cassie leaned against the car to keep herself up.

He rushed over to her side, wrapping his arm around her, "You're gonna be ok." He nodded, helping her back into the house.

"I'm ok." Cassie assured him as he watched her. She was a crucial part of breaking free successfully tonight. She had all of their backs and she had the brain to get them to safety. In the oddest of times, he'd never been prouder of his baby girl.

"Where are you hurt?" Punk asked her.

"It's just my head. It's a concussion." Cassie recognised the feeling as Punk nodded.

"Ok. Ok, just take it easy." He helped her into the dining room as they looked over where Janet was lying on the ground in the kitchen surrounded by AJ, Thea and Jude, "Ok, just… take a seat." He helped Cassie onto a seat before running over to the kitchen.

"Are you ok?" AJ asked him, a little out of breath as he nodded.

"Yeah… yeah, are you?" He asked her as she nodded, watching as Jude opened up some drawers in the kitchen, looking for something, "It's clear outside." He nodded to them, watching as Jude pulled a knife out of one of the drawers, grabbing Janet by the hair and dragging her along the floor, sitting her up against one of the cupboards.

"Jude." AJ watched as Punk gulped. The three of them had taken turns of beating on Janet, bruised and bloody knuckles on all three of them.

AJ walked over to Jude, looking at her and taking the knife from her carefully.

"She was gonna take my baby." Jude said as AJ nodded, "She deserves to die." She looked down at Janet as AJ nodded.

"She does." AJ agreed, turning around to Punk, "Phil, take the girls outside." She said as Punk nodded, "It's ok. She's not gonna hurt you or any of us anymore." She cupped Jude's cheek as Jude nodded, turning over to her father and walking over to him as he wrapped his arm around her, leading them out of the kitchen, helping Cassie with the help of Jude and Thea, taking them outside whilst AJ crouched down in front of Janet.

"You wouldn't… you wouldn't kill your own mother, would you?" Janet asked, eyes half shut, blood gushing from places, severely beaten up.

AJ looked at her, driving the knife forward into the middle of her chest as Janet's eyes widened.

"You're not my mother." AJ made clear, watching the life slowly leave her mother's body, "Say hi to all the others for me when you burn in hell."
