Chapter 37

RedRat8- Yeah, much as I love Chan and respect Beltorchika, let's be honest, neither of those two characters would exist if it weren't for Sayla's voice actress having the problems she had during the production of Zeta Gundam (Well actually just Beltorchika as the developers of Char Counterattack thought that it wouldn't do for Amuro to be married so they just made Chan to be the girl of the month or something.)

R reyes- Wait, Jamitov was the reason Char's father died? I have never heard of this.

Anyway, Char won't care if Chan dies, he only meet her once and didn't even interact her that much. Amuro on the other hand.

Moonreapper666- She's not being overconfident. She's just wondering why the Federation is moving towards Solomon without the proper forces. (She doesn't know about the Solar Ray.)

4th fleet

White Base

Several hours away from rendezvous with 88th assault group

"So, all I did was give her a salute and a wink and she was all over me." Said Monsha with a smirk, telling his teammates, Sleggar, and Carmine a story.

"That's complete bullshit and you know it, Monsha." Said Alpha with a smirk. "She would be punching or kicking you in the nuts if you pulled that stunt. Trust me, I know from experience."

"That's because you don't have my good looks, Alpha." Said Monsha with a smirk.

"Oh, that's it you piece of…"

"Enough." Said Burning, not wanting a brawl to happen at the moment. "I need you all at your very best. In just a few hours, we'll be participating an assault on the Zeon fortress of Solomon. I don't want any more fights until the battle is over." The others grumbled at that, but nonetheless agreed to stop.

"Moving on, you think our chances are good?" Asked Carmine, looking at everyone. "Solomon is one of Zeon's most heavily fortified space fortresses, only surpassed by A Baoa Qu. Think we got a shot at taking it?"

"That's the million dollar question, right?" Asked Sleggar as he placed his hands behind the back of his head. "From what I last heard of Solomon, that asteroid has hundreds of mega particle cannons within its rocky exterior and at least two hundred ships of varying classes. And since it's the headquarters of Dozle Zabi, you can bet there's at least one of those Gwazine ships defending it. They also got an array of asteroid missiles on call to blast our ships apart with enough kinetic energy to make a big hole in Luna II. We need at least half a thousand ships to take that asteroid and we can't get that without giving away our intention. So, we got to have a secret weapon on our side." Burning nodded at that.

"I think we do." Said Burning. "From what I gathered, we're going to assist the fifth fleet for this task. As you all know, the fifth fleet is the personal fleet of admiral Tianem. That man has connections with Anaheim electronics. No doubt, he's using them to help us in capturing Solomon." Alpha just looked at his C.O.

"How, sir?" Asked Alpha. Burning just shrugged, wondering what Tianem is up to.

Solomon

Dozle Zabi

"Get our ships and mobile suit forces ready!" Yelled Dozle as he had his men scramble to get their forces ready for a Federation attack. Though his analysts told him that a Federation attack is unlikely to occur in another two weeks, Dozle was adamant in getting his men ready. "Get all our Mega cannons ready to fire at a moment's notice! And make sure our asteroid missiles are ready to launch! I don't want a repeat of what happened last time." As he was bellowing orders, an officer came toward him.

"Sir! One Papua supply ships has arrived. It's carrying the Big Zam prototype that was scheduled to arrive for testing." Said the officer as he saluted.

"Good. How many do we have?" Asked Dozle as he turned toward the officer, who then gave him the papers that had the ship's contents within them along with a message from Gihren.

"Only one, sir." Said the officer as Dozle read, getting angrier and angrier as he read.

"We are unable to send in more than one Big Zam! The others have been scrapped in order to save material for another Dolos carrier!" Yelled Dozle as he threw the papers away. "What is Gihren thinking?! We don't need another of those ridiculous carriers! Two is enough!" He then turned toward the officer, who was shaking in his boots at being forced to see Dozle's angry in action. "Are there any other supply ships arriving!?"

"No, sir. Both Gihren and lady Kycilia believe that the forces stationed on Solomon are adequate enough to protect it. Until it is clear that the garrison cannot defend the fortress with what it has, there won't be anymore reinforcements." Dozle scoffed in disgust at that. He then turned to another officer that just arrived.

"Have we managed to locate Tianem's fleet?" Asked Dozle. The last up to date intel they had on the Federation fifth fleet was that they were approaching the asteroid belt, some distance away from them. With no other targets in the area, Dozle came to the conclusion that they were preparing to attack them, despite the skepticism of some of his officers.

"No, the last intel we have of them was three weeks ago." Said the officer. "We trying to find them in the asteroid belt, but so far we haven't located even a single vessel from the Federation fifth fleet." Dozle growled at that.

"Keep searching. The sooner we find the fifth fleet, the sooner we can destroy them." Said Dozle as he marched out of the hanger bay that he was in. Some thought he was going to the command center, but Dozle had something far more important in mind.

Few days later

Magellan command ship, Magellan II

88th attack group

"Commodore Wakkein, its good to see you." Said Bright as he arrived at the bridge of Wakkein's new command ship, which replaced the one they had to scuttle back at Luna II.

"Likewise, lieutenant commander Bright." Said Wakkein as he looked at Bright as he arrived with his security officer. "You've certainly moved up in the ranks, haven't you?" Bright just nodded as Wakkein walked down from his command seat. "While I would like to exchange pleasantries, we have work to do."

"Yes." Said Bright. "We're here to launch an assault on the asteroid fortress Solomon, correct?" Wakkein nodded.

"Yes." Said Wakkein as he had a holographic image of Solomon appear before them. "As you know, Solomon is the first line of defense for Side 3. If we want to launch any sort of attack on Side 3, we need to take Solomon." The holographic image then showed multiple red dots, with them were titles that indicated what they were, mainly enemy ships and asteroid missiles.

"Problem is, Solomon is one of their most heavily defended fortresses. Last reports indicates that it has at least two Gwazine battleships, one of them being Dozle's personal ship, along with the necessary fleets to protect them. Combined that with the base's own defenses and asteroid missiles, we need to have an attack fleet three to five times larger than their own. And we only outnumber have three hundred ships capable of sustained combat." Bright frowned at that. Those we pretty grim odds.

"What's the plan, sir?" Asked Bright. Wakkein sighed at that.

"I'm afraid the exact details are classified, but the 88th attack group in the upcoming battle will be to attack the enemy fortress with everything we have. We begin the attack by launching suicide fighters equipped with beam dispersal missiles, that'll prevent the enemy from using their mega cannons against us effectively, allowing us to move in close without fear of retaliation, at least by their mega cannons. Once we move in close enough, we'll launch all our Mobile suits and have them engage the enemy, keeping them occupied enough for our secret weapon to acquire the targeting data it needs to hit the enemy without taking a lot of us with it." Bright blinked at that.

"So, the rumors are true. The Federation has some sort of secret weapon up its sleeves. Is it a new Mobile Suit? A new capital ship?" Asked Bright, having heard such rumors during the trip from Side 6 to the 88th attack group." Wakkein just sighed at that.

"To be honest, even I don't know, lieutenant commander Bright." Said Wakkein as he touched his chin. "Admiral Tianem has all intel concerning about the new weapon locked behind level ten clearance. Only other admirals know of his weapon and its functions. He doesn't want the enemy to know what it is." Bright pursed his lips at that.

"That is concerning, sir. Its not something illegal, is it?" Asked Bright. Wakkein just shook his head.

"No. I know the admiral. He may be cold, but he follows the rules of engagements to the letter. He may skirt around the edges of it, but he won't break any of the rules set for this war." Said Wakkein. "Though the fact that intel about the weapon is so scarce is a bit concerning. Let's hope it doesn't backfire on us or this battle will end in a disaster for the Federation." Bright nodded at that. It was then that other officers from the 4th fleet arrived along with some other officers of the 88th attack group. With their arrival, Wakkein went over the battleplan again.

Few hours later

Tianem

"Sir, all ships are in position. We're waiting for your approval." Said Tianem's aide as he walked up to Tianem, who was sitting in the captain's seat of his personal flagship. Tianem nodded before issuing his first orders.

"Send the envoy." Said Tianem. "We'll give Dozle Zabi a chance to surrender first before commencing the operation." The aide nodded before relaying his orders. A few minutes later, a single shuttle had taken off from Wakkein's flagship and was moving toward Solomon, broadcasting on an open channel to tell the Zeons that it was unarmed and was attempting to relay a message. As this was happening, Paris, Tianem's AI, appeared before Tianem in his captain's seat computer.

"Sir, recent system check of the Solar system are complete. No problems so far." Said Paris. Tianem nodded at that.

"Good. Keep me updated on it. It has to operate flawlessly if we are to win this operation." Said Tianem.

"You're certain that Dozle Zabi will not surrender?" Asked Paris.

"I'm afraid so." Said Tianem. "Dozle may be a bit of a brute, but he has a heart of a patriot for his nation's ideals. He will not surrender to us under any condition. He'll fight us to the death if need be."

"Then why are we bothering with this offer of surrender, sir?" Asked Paris. "If you are certain that Dozle will not surrender, then this will have been a waste of fuel and time, sir."

"Simple, Paris." Said Tianem as he looked at his AI. "Even though its unlikely, there is still a chance that Dozle may surrender. Whether out of pity for his men or he for some other reason. If he does surrender, we spared a lot of our men from their deaths for just a little while longer. If he doesn't surrender, then our men will fight harder, knowing that the enemy refused to surrender. Does that answer your question?"

"A bit, sir. I still find it illogical, but I will support your actions, admiral." Said Paris. Tianem nodded before looking over at another screen that showed the Solar Ray system.

"We're pinning a lot on this system." Thought Tianem, crossing his fingers that his plan will work. "Let's hope I'm not being a fool today."

Dozle Zabi

Solomon command center

"Sir, an enemy shuttle is approaching our battle line. Its broadcasting on open frequencies. Shall we open fire?" Asked an operator from the command center of Solomon. Dozle, hearing that, looked at the operator.

"No, its likely carrying a message from the enemy. Let it through. I want to hear what the enemy has to say." Said Dozle. Just like that, the shuttle was allowed to get close to the battle line, where it stopped. It then transmitted, the amount of Minovsky particles being low enough to allow long distance calls with radar, a call to Dozle, no doubt from the enemy commander. After ordering it be put through, Dozle saw the face of the commander that was his opponent today. The same one he faced back at Loum. The one that cost him many good friends and men.

"Admiral Dozle. A pleasure it is to meet you again." Said Tianem as he looked at Dozle with a stoic face. Also being stoic, Dozle looked at Tianem.

"Same to you." Said Dozle as he looked at Tianem. Contrary to what many thought, the two men didn't hate each other. While Dozle mourned for so many lives lost at the battle of Loum and cursed the Federation, he had respect for Tianem for not pursuing his fleeing ships when he had the numbers to do so back at Loum. He also admired the man for his honesty and dislike for corruption. Very few Federation officers that Dozle knew were incorruptible or didn't believe in Earthnoid superiority, or at least believed it to the point it impaired their ability to lead, such as the case with Tianem. "I assume you're here to ask for my surrender?"

"That is correct." Said Tianem. "You and your men will be treated as justly as possible for POWs as according to rules set by the Antarctic treaty." Dozle laughed at that.

"While I believe you'll keep your word, admiral, I'm afraid that I will refuse your offer." Said Dozle as he got up from his seat. "While I wish for my men to live good long lives, I also know that they want to make our nation proud. To fight Federation tyranny and to send a message to the Federation. We Spacenoid will not stand for any more oppression from the Earthnoids and the unjust rule of the Federation. Even if Zeon loses this war, our message will still be heard by both Earthnoids and Spacenoids alike. You know that to be true, admiral." Tianem just closed his eyes and nodded.

"Yes. I know." Said Tianem. "And its up to the survivors to rectify the problems with our government." Dozle just nodded at that with a sad smirk. Tianem then opened his eyes. "But enough of the future, its time for the present. And since you refused my offer of surrender, I'm sorry to say that I must begin my operation to capture Solomon for the Federation."

"Don't be." Said Dozle as he sat back down. "I fully understand and do not hold it against you for doing your duty. I won't tell you to back down, but I will tell you to give it your all. I don't intend on holding back." Tianem just grumbled at that before ending the call. With that done, the shuttle turned around and went back to the Federation line. As it did, the command crew looked at Dozle, wondering what his plan was. Looking at his men, he gave out his orders.

"What are you all looking at!?" Demanded Dozle, yelling at the top of his lungs. "Didn't you hear the enemy!? We got a battle coming to us! Get ready for war!" With that, the command crew began to do the necessary preparations needed to prepare them for a fight.

Wakkein

Ten minutes later

"Sir, all ships are in position. Fighter groups are ready to launch at your orders." Said Wakkein's aide as she appeared before him. Wakkein nodded before giving out his orders.

"All battlegroups, this is Commodore Wakkein. Operation will commence in thirty seconds. Once it commences, I want all our ships move toward the enemy fleet, that'll shorten the time that our fighters need to launch their beam dispersal missiles. Once that is done, we'll move in closer and launch our entire mobile suit force. Casualties will be high, but I expect you all to do this operation to the best of your abilities." Said Wakkein, looking at the timer above him.

"Operation will commence in five."

White Base

"Four."

"Here it is. Our first space battle since a long while." Thought Amuro as he got ready to launch in the Gundam.

Columbus carrier

"Three."

"Get ready Gold squadron." Said the lead pilot as he prepped his FF-S3 Saberfish, retrofitted to carry a single missile loaded with particles that can disrupt beam weaponry. A far better option over the initial suggestion of using slow public shuttles to transport the missiles. The only bad thing about the plan was that none of the fighters had Ais on them. All of them were used by either the warships or the mobile suits, both of which were going to handle the majority of the fighting. "We're going in hard."

Salamis cruiser

"Two."

"Ghost group ready for operation." Said an AI that controlled a Salamis cruiser on its own.

Wakkein's ship

"One. Begin." Said Wakkein as the timer hit zero. With that, every single ship began rushing toward Solomon.

As soon as they were in weapon range, the Salamis cruisers and Magellan battleships opened fire, creating a mass barrage of beam fire that zipped toward the enemy fleet. Most of the beams missed, but some managed to hit some Musai and Chivvay cruisers. Some of the beams destroyed some beam cannons from the ships, hampering their combat ability, but a few managed to hit the bridges of some, taking them out of the fight as they began to drift.

The barrage kept coming unhindered until the Federation ships entered weapon range of Solomon's mega cannons.

With the base's generators powering them up, the mega particle cannons fired concentrated beams of Minovsky particles at the enemy, not losing their power by any significant amount.

"Evasive maneuvers!" Yelled Wakkein as he felt the explosion of a Salamis cruiser besides his own flagship, having been hit by three beams from Solomon's defenses. "Columbus carriers! Launch your payload now!"

With that order relayed, the Columbus carriers opened their launch bays and launched their fighters, all equipped with beam dispersal missiles.

Gold squadron

"Gold squadron launch immediately. I repeat launch immediately." Said the flight officer as the bay doors opened, revealing Solomon firing all its guns at the fleet.

"This is Gold leader, taking off." Said Gold one as he took off, followed by Gold two, three, and four. Gold five and six were about to take off when a mega cannon shot hit the center of the Columbus ship, piercing the ship's hull and hitting the reactor. At first nothing happened, but then the ship exploded, taking everyone with it.

"Damnit!" Yelled Gold four as she watched this happen. "We lost half the squadron, sir."

"Put it together, Hawke! We still got a job to do." Said Gold leader as he radioed other fighter squadrons. "This is Gold leader. Anyone out there?"

"This is Red leader." Said another Saberfish fighter as a squadron appeared on the left of Gold squadron. "Most of my squadron is fine, but I lost one when an asteroid missile went and crashed into the hanger, killing the poor bloke."

"Blue leader here." Said a third Saberfish fighter as another squadron appeared, this time on the right of Gold Squadron. "We got lucky, Managed to launch all our fighters in time. Ship is still fine and is holding position for resupply."

"Other squadrons are commencing the attack. We should as well." Said Red leader before moving in on Solomon, where heavy beam fire was coming at them. Gold and blue squadron followed soon after. As they made their attack run, Solomon's defensives began opening fire on the fighters, along with any ships that had their anti-aircraft guns in range to take down the fighters. Aside from the anti-aircraft guns, however, the resulting fire didn't hamper the pilots much, only taking down three out of a hundred and thirty-five fighters.

It was when the fighters got close to the asteroid missile field that things got hectic. Along with the bigger asteroids that were meant for capital ships, there were smaller asteroids outfitted with engines that were launched at mobile suits and fighters when they got into range of their trackers. Outfitted with powerful engines, these were cheap, yet also deadly, weapons that can take down a ship with one shot.

As soon as the first fighter passed the missile field, the smaller asteroids came to life and began firing their engines. Their targeting computers, using laser tracking technology, found their targets and began launching themselves toward them.

"We got asteroid missiles!" Yelled a pilot from green squadron as large groups of asteroids were coming at the fighters, taking out a few. He maneuvered his fighter to avoid an asteroid, only to end up being blasted by a megacannon.

"Stay on target." Said Gold leader as they approached Solomon, which had begun launching Gattle starfighters, Zeon's primary space fighter, to intercept the FF-S3 Saberfishs.

"Incoming fighters!" Yelled Blue leader as the Gattles moved in and attacked the Saberfishs, using their machineguns to try to take down the fighters.

"Spread out and engage, but save your missiles for Solomon." Ordered Red leader before breaking off and engaging the Gattle fighters. Half of the fighter attack group broke off to engage the fighters while the rest proceeded towards Solomon. As soon as they saw each other, the saberfishs engaged the Gattle fighters, using their machineguns to attack them.

The Gattles, not designed to fight the Federation Saberfish, took heavy casualties as the Saberfishs passed them. Turning around, the Gattles fired missiles and vulcan rounds at the Saberfishs as they turned around to face the Gattles again, destroying a few but not as much as the Saberfishes did.

As the fighters fought amongst each other, the other group of Saberfishs pressed forward against Solomon, steadfast against Solomon's defenses.

"This flak is heavy!" Yelled Gold two as missiles, bullets, and beam blasts came at that.

"Stay on the course!" Yelled Red leader as they were near the intended range.

"I got to disperse! Loosen up!" Yelled Red three as he tried to break away, only to get hit with several bullets that pierced his fuel lines and caused his left wing to blow up. This caused him to spiral out of control and falling back, forcing the other saberfishs to move out of the way to avoid getting hit by the out of control fighter. They all managed to get away except Red eight as he was unable to turn away in time. Crashing headfirst, the two fighters exploded.

"Stay on course! Weapon's ready in three seconds!" Yelled Gold leader as a missile destroyed another fighter. Three seconds later, the Saberfishs fired their missiles, launching them toward Solomon's first defense line.

The Zeons tried to shoot them down, taking a few, but the majority managed to release their beam dispersal particles before being destroyed or running out of fuel. With that, the particles formed into a dense cloud of particles that prevented their beam weaponry from being effective. This was a major issue for them because the majority of their weapons, both on Solomon and on their warships, were beam weaponry. And with that beam dispersal cloud, they were forced to use only their missiles on the incoming Federation warships.

Dozle, upon seeing this, clenched his teeth. With that cloud around, he had to resort to using only missiles to attack the Federation until they passed it. Keeping calm, he ordered his men to resort to only missiles and to hold the mobile suits until the enemy launched their own. Once he gave that order, he looked at his aide and friend.

"Twaning. Take command. I need to take care of something." Said Dozle before getting up and leaving the command center. Twaning did as he ordered and took command. As he walked, Dozle thought of his wife and baby daughter, who were here in Solomon.

Zenna, she was a beautiful woman that stole his heart. He remembered how she managed to stole his heart after she was ordered by Garma to prevent him from attempting to stop his attack on a Federation garrison on Side 3. Though he was disappointed she did something like that, he respected and admired her guts. That combined with her beauty caused him to fall in love with her. Though he was a few years older than her, they still hit it off and Dozle was happy that it did. People were so scared of him because of his many scars and large frame. Yet Zenna wasn't afraid. Rather she saw it all as impressive and appreciated how caring he was to his soldiers, claiming he was the heart of the Zabi family. That caused Dozle to laugh a bit.

"The big giant is the heart of the family. That'll be the day." Thought Dozle as he reached his family chambers. Inside was his wife, his baby girl, and their various maids.

"Zenna." Said Dozle as he approached, smiling as she held their baby girl. "Its good to see you again." Hearing her husband, Zenna let out a smile as she held her daughter, sleeping in content.

"She's fast asleep, darling." Said Zenna. "Try not to wake her."

"I understand." Said Dozle as he looked at his daughter, smiling at how beautiful she was. "I'll try to keep quiet." As the two parents looked at their daughter, Zenna looked at Dozle in worry.

"Is the battle going well? Are we winning?" Asked Zenna. Dozle, knowing that she was right to worry, simply laughed, knowing it was his job as base commander to keep a calm façade in order to not worry his men.

"Heavens yes." Said Dozle in his booming voice. "Solomon is impenetrable. Combined with our ships, our defenses are unbeatable. The enemy will have to send a thousand ships to have even a chance to take this fortress. Still, as a precaution, I want all women and secondary personal to the escape shuttles." Upon hearing that, Zenna looked at Dozle in worry.

"Dear." Started Zenna, but Dozle stopped her.

"Don't you fret, my love." Said Dozle as he looked at his wife with loving eyes. "It's just a precaution. Nothing to worry about." He then looked at his baby girl, Mineva Zabi. "Just looking at my girl gives me strength. With it, I'll not let Solomon fall!" Yelling the last bit, Dozle unintentionally woke his girl up, causing her to cry. As Zenna tried to calm her down, she lightly scolded Dozle.

"You scared her." Said Zenna, lightly glaring at Dozle, who laughed.

"Hurry now." Said Dozle as he left to go back to the command center.

Meanwhile

Wakkein

"Sir, our ships are in position. Shall we launch the vanguard?" Asked a comm officer as he looked at Wakkein, who nodded.

"Yes. Vanguard group! Advance! Try to hold out as long as you can. Our new weapon needs all the targeting data it can get!" Yelled Wakkein. Within minutes, thirty-two Salamis cruisers and a Magellan battleship charged at the enemy front line, shooting down any missiles that tried to shoot them down.

Passing through the beam dispersal field, the ships immediately came under fire from the enemy forces. Three Salamis cruisers were immediately destroyed by the fire. Another two had their bridges destroyed as Musai cruisers focused on them. Retaliation fire destroyed five Musai cruisers and one Chivvay heavy cruiser. As the ships traded blows with each other, the vanguard were acquiring targeting data and were sending it to the other ships in the fleet via short range laser transmissions, who then sent it to the fifth fleet, who received the transmission data in under thirty minutes.

"Admiral Tianem. The targeting data has been acquired. I'm ready to fire the Solar Ray system." Said Paris as he started up the Solar Ray system. Tianem nodded at that.

"Good! Target the enemy's main hanger bay! That'll prevent the launching of reinforcements from Solomon as well as take out a good portion of the enemy fleet!" Yelled Tianem before looking at a comm officer. "Tell our vanguard to escape now! The Solar Ray system is about to fire!" As everyone did their duty, Tianem watched as the various solar panels that comprised the Solar Ray system moved into position to focus their power into one single concentrated blast of solar energy.

"Main gates of Solomon acquired. Firing in three, two, one…firing." Said Paris as he moved all the panels into the correct position and activated their energy collectors, allowing them to collect the energy gathered from the sun. As soon as they all filled up, Paris had all the panels release their collected energy in one burst, firing all the stored energy at Solomon. The resulting fire created a bright light as a large beam immediately converged on Solomon, hitting it and incinerating anything it touched.

The light beam hit where the vanguard fleet's position. Fortunately, the Ais escaped in time via shuttles or reentry capsules, but the Zeon forces were not so lucky. The Redemption, Dozle's personal flagship was destroyed almost instantly as the beam of sunlight hit it and any other Zeon ship that was caught. It didn't stop there, the beam hit Solomon's main hanger bays, destroying any ships inside and setting off any munitions around the hangers, causing secondary explosions in Solomon. It even destroyed a great deal of Solomon's mega particle cannons.

The destruction caused by the Solar Ray…was extensive.

Meanwhile

Bright

"Unbelievable.' Said Bright as he saw this along with the rest of his bridge crew. "The Federation's new weapon is unbelievably powerful."

"But aren't WMDs banned?" Asked Carmine as he saw this. "How are we going to explain this?" Before Bright wonder that too, Sayla spoke.

"Sir, we've been told to launch our mobile suits and fighters now!" Yelled Sayla, snapping Bright out of it.

"Launch all mobile suits! Its time for our part!" Yelled Bright as he commenced his own part to play in this battle.

Meanwhile

Dozle

"What was that!" Yelled Dozle, now back in his command seat. "What just fired on us!"

"We don't know!" Yelled a comm officer. "We're detecting no beam emissions or Minovsky particles from the beam!"

"We're also not detecting any radiation from it!" Yelled another officer.

"No radiation or Minovsky particles?! Then its some kind of laser!" Yelled Dozle as the beam continued, taking out more of his forces. "Where's it coming from."

"Traces indicate its coming behind the enemy's front line!" Yelled a 3rd officer. Dozle slammed his fist at that.

"That was their plan." Thought Dozle as he pieced together what the Federation did. "First they launch a fighter assault with the intention of crippling our ability to use beam weapons, then they send a sacrificial fleet to send targeting data for this laser weapon, and then fire it at where it can do the most damage. Impressive Tianem. Very impressive." The beam then stopped, allowing them to assess the damage that it did to their forces.

"Admiral, we lost over seventy percent of our fleet, including your personal flagship." Said an analyst. "The Federation also created a big hole in our mega particle cannons defenses. Over eighty percent of our mega cannons and missile launchers are gone. The only good things are that our asteroid missiles are still around as well as our mobile suits." Dozle frowned at that. With all those loses, there was no way they can win now. Not without reinforcements. Though it hurt his pride, he ordered a distress call be sent to Granada and any nearby Zeon forces. He also ordered the evacuation of non-combatants in the base.

"We need to hold off the Federation until our non-essential personal have been given enough time to leave." Said Dozle. "Tell our remaining ships and mobile suits to engage in defensive formations. Send all our remaining asteroid missiles at the enemy, try to disrupt their formation!" He then turned to his aide. "And get the Big Zam and our reserve forces ready!" The aide nodded before relaying his orders. He then told Twaning to take over again, he needed to see his wife and daughter for what might be the last time.

Meanwhile

Amuro

"Watch out!" Yelled Amuro as a GM managed to dodge a bazooka round coming at it before firing at the Dom that fired the round, destroying it. It then linked up to the rest of its group, which were three Balls, a sort of mobile pod that predated mobile suits that was converted into a weapon, and two GMs as they advanced into Solomon with other mobile suit groups.

Amuro then looked at his own group, who were trying to dodge the remaining defenses of Solomon. Despite the Federation weapon destroying the majority of its defenses, Solomon was still giving out a good fight.

"Jesus!" Yelled Monsha as the White Base mobile suit team advanced, firing on any mobile suits that came at that. "They lost most of their ships and they're still fighting!"

"They got some stones, I'll give them that." Said Alpha as he braced himself after an explosion happened close to his GM.

"Cut the chatter!" Yelled Burning as he saw multiple boogies coming at them. "We got incoming!" As soon as he said that, the Zeon mobile suits opened fired on the Federation forces, who were attempting to go through the hole in the beam dispersion field that was created by the Solar Ray system. The Zeon mobile suits were a mix of Zaku II, Zaku F2s, and Rick Dom mobile suits. All together there was several hundred mobile suits coming at the Federation, who numbered around thousands.

As they came at the Federation force, which comprised of mostly GMs, and Balls, they fired a salvo of rockets, obliterating the first groups of mobile suits.

The retaliation fire from the Federation mobile suits also did similar damage. From there, the mobile suits engaged in an all out brawl.

One GM managed to destroy one Zaku II before getting its leg shot off by a Rick Dom's heat saber. The Dom then used its chest-mounted beam gun to disorient the pilot. Upon successfully doing it, the Dom tried to slice the GM in half, only for it to respond by tossing its shield, grabbing its only beam saber, and boosting to the side of the Dom. It then shot the Dom in the face before stabbing the Dom in the chest, right where the Zeon pilot was located. With its second opponent dead, the GM pressed on.

Another instance was a Zaku dodging a Ball hull-mounted cannon shot and grabbing the sad excuse of a mobile suit. As the pilot tried to get another shot off, the Zaku slammed its fist into the cockpit, smashing through the glass and squashing the pilot. Tossing the Ball away, the Zaku fired its machinegun at another Ball, shredding it into pieces with its armor piercing bullets.

"Take this!" Yelled Kai as he fired on a Zaku that tried to get in close to Hayato, who was busy giving covering fire for Amuro, who was fighting five Doms at once. The Zaku dodged the first shot, but the 2nd shot destroyed it.

"Thanks!" Yelled Hayato as he fired his Guncannon's shoulder mounted guns, destroying a Zaku that tried to line a shot against Amuro's Gundam as it was using two beam sabers to block slashes from two Doms while destroying another with its backpack mounted beam cannon.

"You worthless Zekes!" Yelled Monsha as he dodged an attack from a Gattle fighter that tried to take him out. As it moved past him, Monsha fired his Vulcan guns at it. As he did so, another Gattle fighter tried to make a pass on him, seeing him distracted.

"Don't think so." Said Stalk as he maneuvered the GM around to dodge the Gattle's missile attack. He then brought out a beam saber and sliced the Gattle in half.

"Stalk, you made me miss my kill!" Said Monsha as he watched the Gattle he shot fly away.

"We would have died if I didn't maneuver the GM to destroy that other fighter." Said Stalk simply as he detected another group of fighters coming at them. "More enemy fighters incoming."

"We got them." Said Alpha as he and Burning fired on those Gattle fighters. They took out three fighters before the remaining three fired their missiles at them. Using Vulcans, they destroyed the missiles, but were forced to move away as the Gattles tried to crash into them.

"They're desperate if they're doing that." Said Burning as he brought out his targeting computer and fired, destroying a Gattle fighter as it tried to make another pass on them.

"Or just crazy." Said Alpha as he fired on the last two, taking them out.

"Warning. Enemy mobile suit group have broke off and are engaging our motherships." Said Frost as he turned Burning's GM so Burning could see. Luck would have it, three Doms, one of which was colored blue and green, were advancing on the Federation ships, who were advancing towards Solomon.

"Shit, they're all sitting ducks for those things!" Yelled Burning. "Amuro! We got enemy mobile suits trying to attack our ships! You're the fastest of us! You got to stop them!"

"Understood!" Yelled Amuro as he dodged an attack from one of his remaining two opponents. "I don't have time for this!" With that, he fired a beam rifle shot at one Dom, who got destroyed by the accurate hit. Amuro then flew straight for the other as it reloaded its bazooka. Grabbing a beam saber from his shield, Amuro sliced the Dom in half, escaping the blast radius as the Dom exploded. With his opponents gone, Amuro sped towards the enemy mobile suits that broke off.

"Scanning for enemy mobile suits." Said Vega as he tried to find the enemy suits. A few seconds later, he found them. "Keep moving forward. They'll be in visual range soon." As soon as he said that, an explosion appeared in the cameras, indicating something was destroyed. Gritting his teeth, Amuro put the Gundam to its maximum speed, bracing himself as he did so.

Meanwhile

"Keep shooting! If we're going down, we're going to take more of these Federation pigs with us!" Yelled a man with white hair as he fired his Dom's experimental beam bazooka at a Salamis's primary bridge, taking it out. He then fired a shot at where the ship's reactor was located. Moving some distance away, he fired again, firing a yellow beam at the ship, melting through the armor and hitting the reactor.

Watching as the ship exploded, the man let out a satisfied sound before looking at his comrades doing the same to another Salamis cruiser.

"Lieutenant Gato! We spotted the Trojan Horse!" Yelled a Zaku pilot as his mobile suit moved towards Gato's Dom. Upon hearing that, Gato's eyes widened and he looked around for the fabled Trojan Horse, eventually finding it amongst two Salamis cruisers.

Grinning to himself at his luck, Gato ordered his men to follow him. The group, four Doms, including Gatos, and three Zakus, went after the Trojan Horse.

The infamous Trojan Horse, responsible for the deaths of Garma Zabi, Ramba Ral, and the humiliation of Char Aznable, and it was right in his clutches. Gato knew that he would get massive amount of recognition of the Zabi family for taking down that ship, even a massive promotion, but he didn't care about either of those. All he cared about was taking down the ship that had caused the Principality of Zeon so much grieve. Unlike most men, all he wanted was for Zeon's reign to be allowed to prosper.

Anavel Gato was a patriot, through and through. He didn't care about promotions or morals. He just loved his nation and he would do anything for it to prosper. Gassing an entire Side to win the war? He'll do that. Kill thousands of enemy soldiers to win a battle? He won't complain. It was these traits that served him well during the battle of Loum, even if his companions were uneasy with such an act. Something that, surprisingly, Gato understood.

War was something that few could stomach, especially when one side of a war goes to commit such actions like obliterating a side that, for all intents and purposes, was of no strategic value to Zeon aside from the colonies themselves.

Though Gato understood the reasoning behind it, he also understood those that protested and even hated the Zabis for allowing such a plan to happen.

Some would call that siding with monsters, but to Gato, that was better than defecting to the enemy and being labeled as a traitor for the rest of your life by your own people.

Gato would have continued with this debate within himself when his computer warned him of incoming machine gun fire.

"Scatter!" Yelled Gato as they were about to be bombarded with machine gun fire. Most of the other mobile suits managed to get away the machine gun fire, but a single Zaku was unable to get away in time before being gunned down, getting shredded by the machinegun fire as the White Base and Salamis concentrated on it.

The computer registering the explosion of the Zaku, Gato ordered them to move towards the enemy ships' blind spots, mainly the rear or the underneath the ship. Watching as the Zakus went after one Salamis and two Doms went after the other, Gato took the last Dom and the two went after the Trojan Horse.

Going down to prevent some of the Trojan Horse's machineguns from being able to hit them, the mobile suits aimed their bazookas at the machineguns at the bottom of the ship and destroyed them. They then prepared to go for the engines.

As they were moving toward the engines, Gato's computer registered a high-speed object moving toward them. Instinct flaring up, Gato turned around and saw, to his surprise and excitement, the White Devil was coming at them, eye lenses flaring up.

"I can't believe my luck." Thought Gato as he charged right at the Gundam while his wingmen went in to support him, fearing for Gato's life.

"All units! Disengage the ships!" Yelled Gato as he readied himself for a great fight with the Federation's white devil. "The White devil is here! Take him out first and we'll focus on the enemy warships next." Obeying his orders, the mobile suits disengaged the warships, which had sustained damage from the mobile suits, one of which lost the primary bridge, before charging at the Gundam.

When they regrouped, the Gundam went into action.

Firing one multi-missile at the mobile suits, the Gundam then dived down as the missiles emerged from their contained and sped toward the enemy mobile suits.

"Scatter!" Yelled Gato as he dodged the first wave of missiles. The Doms fared as well, dodging the missiles with their improved thrusters, but the Zakus, not as fast as the Doms, were decimated.

One attempted to shoot the missiles down, only to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of missiles. The other attempted to evade them and would have gotten away if it weren't for the Gundam firing its large beam cannon at it, obliterating it.

Once it fired, it charged straight for the Doms, now spread out. Firing a shot at one with its arm mounted beam rifle, it brought out a beam saber and slashed at another, using its speed to slice the Dom's heavy armor with ease.

The first Dom had its head blown off by the beam shot, but was still operational. Aiming its rocket launcher at the Gundam, it was about to fire when the Gundam's backpack-mounted beam cannon turned around and fired, destroying it.

The remaining two Doms, seeing the Gundam finished off its comrades so easily, regrouped and charged in at the same time. They fired their chest mounted beam guns at the Gundam, masking their approached as Gato fired his beam bazooka, using a single, concentrated blast at the Gundam.

It would have worked had the pilot kept his eyes shut when he noticed them using their beam guns, or rather flash guns, at him. He then moved the Gundam out of the way before the beam bazooka fired, enabling him to dodge.

Seeing the Doms looking at him, the pilot aimed his beam weapons at them and fired. The backpack-mounted beam cannon tore the leg of off Gato's Dom, but the beam rifle shot missed the other as it charged at the Gundam, bazooka in one hand and a heat saber on the other. Firing a round, the Dom swung at the Gundam as it got within melee range, but the Gundam dodge both the rocket and the swing by boosting over the Dom and firing the beam rifle at the Dom, hitting it dead in the middle of its head. Flying away from the about to explode Dom, the Gundam tried to find the other, only for it to come crashing in from below and stabbing its heat saber at the Gundam's large backpack. As the backpack sparked out of control from the stab, the Gundam disconnected from it, surprising the Dom, before turning around and firing its beam rifle at the Dom, who tried to boost away, only to get its lower waist caught by the beam.

Not done, the Gundam stabbed the Dom's back thrusters, causing them to malfunction and speed the Dom away from the Gundam. It was about to pursue when the pilot received a warning from his AI.

"Amuro, we need to return to the White Base immediately for resupply. It will be out only time to resupply before the final charge starts." Said Vega as the two watched an explosion come from where the Dom flew away. "Output matches those of a Dom mobile suit. The White Base is safe for now."

"Okay, that's good." Said Amuro before contacting the White Base. "Sayla, I'm coming back for a resupply. Tell the engineering crew to get the Gundam's spare backpack ready."

"Understood. Relaying the message now." Said Sayla as the Gundam began backing its way to the White Base's right hanger bay.

Meanwhile

Wakkein

"Turn ninety degrees north!" Yelled Wakkein as his ship evaded some missile fire from a Musai cruiser as it came after his ship. Seeing it charge up its mega cannons, Wakkein braced himself as the cruiser fired at his flagship. Four of the beams missed his ship by mere inches, but two of them managed to hit his ship, hitting its bow. Fortunately, his ship's anti-beam field coating, something that was expensive to place across an entire cruiser like his own, held. Not wanting them to fire again, Wakkein ordered his own mega particle cannons to fire at the Musais' own cannons while one aimed for the bridge.

With those orders, the Titan II's mega cannons turned towards the Musai and fired, destroying its cannons and destroying the bridge. Knowing that it still was capable of ramming or launching missiles, Wakkein ordered another barrage at the Musai, this time aiming for its super structure. Firing again, the Magellan's mega particle cannons hit the reactor of the Musai, causing the ship to explode and send shrapnel on all directions, some even destroying some fighters or mobile suits that were close enough to be hit by the debris.

With the threat gone, Wakkein ordered a status update on the situation.

"A field is falling." Said a comm operator. "The enemy is buckling against our mobile suits. B and C field aren't faring any better. Its only a matter of time before our forces manage to land on Solomon itself."

"Good." Said Wakkein. "Have our warships provide as much covering fire for our forces on those fields. Those will be our launching points for the ground troops." He then looked at the communications officer. "Ready the marines. We're going to launch the shuttles as soon as the mobile suits secure landing points for them." Turning back to the carnage before him. Though it was going well, Wakkein felt that the enemy had a trick up their sleeves. This was almost too easy.

"This is Dozle Zabi, we're facing." Thought Wakkein with grim thoughts. "He's got something planned for us."

Meanwhile

Dozle

"Hurry, please." Said Dozle as various women and nonmilitary personal scrambled towards the unarmed shuttles. "The more you dally, the worser your chances are of getting away from Solomon alive. We'll try to give you time, but please hurry." With that, Dozle looked at his wife with sorrow. Tears in her eyes, she walked up to Dozle and hugged him.

"I'm sorry it's come to this, Zenna." Said Dozle. "But this if the fate of all military men with honor. I won't abandon my men just to save my own life." Zenna tried to protest, but Dozle stopped her. "Its my fate. I can't stop it." Sighing, he looked at his wife one last time. "Go my sister's base on the moon. They'll be the protect you, I swear."

"Darling." Said Zenna with sorrow, causing Dozle to close his eyes.

"My love, forgive me." Said Dozle as he kissed his wife in the lips. "Take care of Mineva for me, Zenna. Bring her…up strong." With that, Dozle left, leaving his family alone. As he walked, he felt Solomon rumble. Despite being deep in Solomon's interior, he still felt the tremors of missile impacts.

"*Chuckles* You planned your strategy well, Tianem. I didn't expect Solomon to go down so easily." Thought Dozle as he used a handle bar on the war to quickly make his way to Solomon's assembly lines, where the last remaining mobile suits and fighters were stored. Along with them, was the key to their final stand. As he passed his men, he yelled out orders.

"Get those remaining fighters and mobile suits out into the fight!" Yelled Dozle as his remaining pilots got into their vehicles or were starting them up. "If we're going to win this battle, we're going to need to throw everything we got on those Feddies." Barking out orders to his men, Dozle only stopped when he saw what he was looking for.

It was a massive weapon, easily four times taller than the Zaku. It didn't have arms, only having a bar of legs with purple claws. The legs were connected to a big green oval that bristled with weapons, one of which was a massive cannon.

Looking at the head of the machine, Dozle smiled.

"So that's the Big Zam. In all its glory." Said Dozle as he let go of the handle and floated towards the massive mobile armor.

"You think you beat us Tianem, but we also have a super weapon on our side as well." Thought Dozle as he entered the Big Zam.

Twenty minutes later
Field B

"Watch out!" Yelled a GM pilot as he and his team landed on Field B. As soon as they did, Zeon mobile suits open fired on them, using Solomon itself as cover. "We still got enemy mobile suits to deal with. Engage! Engage!" As soon as he finished his last words, he was hit by a rocket from a Dom. The rocket pierced the GM's armor and exploded, killing the pilot and causing the GM to fall to the ground, a massive hole where its torso was.

His remaining team then avenged their teammate by destroying the Dom responsible and holding their ground as more GMs and Balls arrived to reinforce their position.

"Move up!" Yelled another GM team leader as he covered his GM with his shield, firing at whatever Zeon mobile suit that tried to peek out and shoot at them. "Pendleton! Fire at those Zakus! They're dug deep behind that hunk of rocks!" Pointing towards a group of Zakus that were using a natural rock formation of Solomon to give them near perfect cover.

"Got it!" Yelled a GM pilot as he aimed his bazooka at the rocks and fired three shots at them, destroying the Zakus' cover. With them in the open, the other GMs opened fire, shredding them to pieces.

"Secure this position! The marines will be arriving soon. Once they do, we're going to breach Solomon and take this base for our own uses!" Yelled a third GM team leader as the Federation began to take pieces of Solomon for themselves.

Field C

"Whoa!" Yelled Monsha as he dodged a slash from a Zaku as it came out of its hiding spot between two rocks and attempted to slash at Monsha's GM. Fortunately, Stalk managed to move out of the way in time as the Zaku gave away its position by scuffing against the rocks a bit, creating noise. "You pieces of shit!" Monsha then fired at the Zaku, blowing its head off and forcing it back. He then fired again and blasted the legs off, disabling it.

"Damn Zekes!" Yelled Monsha as he got up. "Always wanting to play dirty!"

"Stuff it, Monsha." Said Burning as he arrived with several other GMs from different teams. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'll live." Said Monsha as he looked around for more enemy units. "Where the hell is the enemy at?"

"Must be hiding. Waiting in ambush like that Zaku." Said Stalk. "Or there aren't that many mobile suits here in Field C, but that would be too optimistic."

"Agreed." Said Burning before addressing everyone. "Keep an eye out for hidden enemy mobile suits and personal. Even a single Zeon soldier with a bazooka is a threat, got it?"

"Understood." Said the Federation soldiers as they went to secure Field C.

"Hayato, Kai, are you arriving?" Asked Burning.

"We're landing right now." Said Hayato as he landed on Solomon with Kai. "Mr. Bate and Mr. Adel are landing soon. They had to deal with some Zakus that were giving a Salamis cruiser some trouble." Burning nodded before giving out orders for the landed GMs and balls. Eventually shuttles full of marines, escorted by Ball and GM mobile suits, landed. With more reinforcements, the full assault of Solomon began.

Meanwhile

Amuro

"Gundam rearmament complete. Ready for operation." Said Vega as the Gundam got back into the launch catapult. Amuro, finishing an energy drink, closed his helmet's visor before readying himself.

"Amuro! Gundam launching!" Yelled Amuro before bracing himself as the Gundam took off back into the fields of battle again. Once he was free from the White Base, Amuro fired the thrusters at full power, speeding towards Solomon. "Vega, what's the situation?"

"Federation forces have begun their entry into Solomon. Marines, supported by mobile suit units, have breeched Solomon and are attempting to capture the fortress. Allies ships are moping up what few enemy ships are remaining, but a single Gwazine class battleship is providing some difficulty for them. Mobile suits are attempting to bring it down, but the Gwazine's own mobile suits are providing stiff resistance. Its also being protected by Solomon's remaining mega particle cannons and a few other ships providing support. Recommend we assist." Said Vega, giving an overview of the battle. Amuro nodded at Vega's suggestion.

"Okay, we'll take out the battleship and any enemy forces that get in our way. That should give us another opening for our troops." Said Amuro before getting ready for another speed boost. Pushing the Gundam to its max, Amuro was pushed back to his seat as the Gundam zipped toward the battlefield, passing through debris of fallen ships, fighters, or mobile suits as well as any minor skirmishes. After five minutes, Amuro found what he was looking for.

Several kilometers away, in the far right of Solomon, was a Gwazine battleship escorted by two Chivvay heavy cruisers and three Musai light cruisers. With them were four mega cannons of Solomon and thirty mobile suits. Facing them were three Magellan battleships, eight Salamis cruisers, and over twenty GMs and Balls.

Despite the superior numbers, the Federation was struggling to destroy the enemy ships, the Gwazine was the main problem with its superior armament and armor. The mobile suits were trying to take out some of the mega cannons on it, but the enemy mobile suits were pushing them back, taking loses, yes, but were holding firm.

If this continued, the Federation will get wiped out by the Gwazine and Solomon's mega cannons.

"Not if I had anything to say about it." Thought Amuro as he brought out the Gundam's targeting computer and aimed at a Chivvay cruiser and some enemy mobile suits.

Magellan battleship

"Hard to port! Hard to.!" The captain of the Magellan battleship, hammer, couldn't finish that sentence before a mega cannon from the Gwazine, Justice, destroyed the bridge of the Magellan, crippling it. It then fired several more, destroying most of the Magellan's mega particle cannons, leaving the ship useless. The other Zeon ships then focused fire on a Salamis cruiser, destroying it with their combined fire power.

"Damnit!" Yelled a pilot as another one of her teammates, a Ball pilot, was destroyed by a Dom that slashed it in half. It then turned around to face her and charged. Giving a grunt, the pilot aimed her beam spray gun at the Dom, only for it to use its chest beam gun to blind her. Blinded, the pilot couldn't do anything as the Dom readied to take her down.

Fortunately, the GM moved on its own and fired at the Dom, switching the beam spray gun's fire mode to that of a scatter shot. The scatter shot melted through most of the Dom's armor, but it still went after the GM, but another shot destroyed the Dom as it came closer.

All this happened while the pilot was rubbing her eyes. Blinking, the pilot saw the Dom exploding in front of her. She then grunted as her GM moved out of the war of a Zaku's machinegun fire before blasting another Zaku that tried to flank another GM.

"Lightning, I got it now." Said the pilot as she took back controls and stopped her GM. She then proceeded to go towards a burning Salamis cruiser that was in danger of being destroyed by two Dom mobile suits.

"Affirmative, Bianca." Said the GM pilot's AI as it relegated back to a support role. "The targeting computers are out of balance again. I'm compensating right now."

"Again? What the heck have the engineers been doing with my GM." Said Bianca as she found a Dom trying to avoid the Salamis's machinegun fire in order to get a clear shot for the ship's bridge. "Do what you can. I got to stop these things."

Bianca then opened fire on a Dom that was about to fire at the Salamis's bridge. The Dom's armor held for the first hit, due to the distance between the two mobile suits, but the second hit pierced through the armor and hit the reactor, causing the Dom to explode. That caught the attention of the other Dom, which attempted to charge at Bianca, only for two Balls to line up their shots against the Dom and fire, hitting it in the back thrusters, taking them out. Without its main propulsion systems, the Dom was easy picking for the Salamis's remaining machineguns.

As the Dom exploded, Bianca contacted the Salamis cruiser.

"Cruiser four, you got to retreat. You've taken to much damage! I repeat, pull…" Bianca couldn't say anymore as the Salamis cruiser was hit by several mega particle cannons that carved massive holes in the ship's superstructure. The ship remained in one piece for a few seconds before the reactor exploded, sending shockwaves that reached Bianca.

"Damnit!" Yelled Bianca as she endured the shockwaves. The woman then looked around and found the culprit to be the Gwazine battleship. "That thing is ripping us apart! We got to take it out!"

"Affirmative, but the enemy mobile suits that are performing defense operations are preventing us from being able to do so. Adding to their effectiveness are the other enemy ships and Solomon's remaining defenses. We're effectively pinned down with no hope of support." Said Lightning as he calculated the possibilities of them winning. None of which gave the AI hope of success. It was then that, it detected an incoming friendly IFF, approaching at speeds that were too fast for any normal GM or Zeon mobile suit. "Incoming ally mobile suit from behind."

"What?" Asked Bianca before turning around and seeing a Gundam zipping right past her and towards the enemy lines. As it passed, Bianca could have sworn she saw blue, red, and white in that Gundam, meaning it could only be one Gundam. "Was that the…White Base's own Gundam?"

Meanwhile

Amuro

"Take this!" Yelled Amuro as he fired all the Gundam's multi missiles, sending two at the right and two on the left. He watched as the missile containers launched multiple missiles at all directions, all of which were going for enemy mobile suits and ships that Vega tagged. The sheer number of missiles caught the Zeons off guard. Some tried to shoot them down, but there were too many for them to effectively take down. Although a few missiles went for the enemy mobile suits, the vast majority went for the enemy ships, aiming for machinegun emplacements or mega particle cannons. The machine guns tried to shoot them down, taking down a few, but were soon destroyed.

The Gundam then fired its beam weapons all around it, taking out enemy emplacements and cannons as he dodged any mobile suits and fighters that tried to take it down.

Giving a grunt, Amuro dodged a rocket from a Dom before firing at a Musai's bridge with his beam cannon, destroying it. He then sliced a fighter's wing off as several fighters tried to make a pass at him. As the fighter veered out of control, the Gundam fired its beam rifle and cannon at a Chivvay heavy cruiser, taking out its forward mega cannons, reducing its combat effectiveness. He was about to take off when Vega detected three Doms coming right at them with bazookas and heat sabers. They all went in three different directions, trying to hit him at three different angles.

"Nice try." Said Amuro before boosting all the way up and firing at the Dom that tried to go above him. He then dodged a bazooka shot from the rear before blasting the Dom responsible. As both Dom's exploded, the third one tried to stab the Gundam from below, aiming for the Gundam's large backpack.

"Nice try!" Yelled Amuro as he fired the beam cannon, blasting the Dom in half. It flew past him before exploding. Enduring the explosion, the Gundam flew towards the Chivvay's bridge. Aiming at the bridge, the Gundam fired at it before veering away from the ship, not watching as the bridge exploded. He was after bigger prey.

"Avoid the prow and starboard sides of the ship. That's where most of the machineguns are." Said Vega as they approached the Gwazine battleship. "Go above the ship to reduce the effectiveness of the machineguns, then proceed to destroy the mega particle cannons on top of the ship."

"Got it." Said Amuro as they approached the Gwazine. Upon seeing the Gundam approaching the battleship, several Zeon mobile suits attempted to stop it, but were either unable to catch up due to the Gundam's speeds or were suddenly attack by other Federation mobile suits, their moral boosted by the presence of the Gundam.

Going above the Gwazine, the Gundam looked down on it, eyeing its prey with malicious intent, before flying straight down, aiming its beam cannon at the mega cannon in the middle. Firing at pull power, the Gundam watched as the cannon's armor was pierced, staying still, before exploding. The Gundam then fired the cannon again at the cannon farthest from the bridge of the Gwazine, destroying it the same. It was about to destroy the 3rd when it aimed right at it, charging up.

"Shit!" Yelled Amuro before veering away from the mega cannon, just seconds before it fired. The fired streams of Minovsky particles caused some of the Gundam's systems to freeze up a bit, but Vega managed to fix it. Not wasting anymore time, Amuro fired the beam cannon again and destroyed the last top mega particle cannon.

"We'll target the bridge next. Without it, the remaining mega particle cannons will be unable to coordinate with each other effectively." Said Vega as they watched the last cannon blow up.

"Understood." Said Amuro as he moved towards the Gwazine's bridge. Preparing the Gundam's arm-mounted rocket launchers, Amuro moved the Gundam in front of the Gwazine's bridge. Even from where he was, he could see small dots of humans, moving around in the bridge.

Feeling a ping of guilt for doing this, Amuro still steeled himself and fired two rockets at the bridge and moved out of the way, ignoring the flash that occurred from the detonations of the missiles.

"Gwazine combat effectiveness reduced by thirty percent." Said Vega as they went back into combat, this time fighting any Zeon mobile suits that managed to catch up to them. As Amuro fought them off, Vega contacted the Federation ships, who were now advancing towards the enemy ships now that the Gwazine was crippled. "Just received orders from the Federation commander. We're to take help take out the remaining ships, particularly the remaining Chivvay cruiser. They'll take out the Gwazine."

"Understood." Said Amuro as he destroyed a Zaku by bisecting it. He then aimed for the Chivvay cruiser and went for it.

"I hope the others are doing fine." Thought Amuro as he opened fired on the Chivvay's mega particle cannons.

Solomon

Dock 6 flight control station

"They're in the flight station. They' !" Yelled a Zeon soldier as he was gunned down by two Federation marines wearing suits rated for space. After checking for any other Zeon personal, the marines moved in and began to hack the controls.

"We're in the flight control room." Said a marine as he hacked the computer systems. "Opening the gates now."

A few minutes later, the door leading outside Solomon opened, revealing themselves to the waiting Federation forces in field C.

"About damn time!" Yelled Monsha as several GMs threw several smoke grenades inside, giving them cover. Two teams then went in to serve as a vanguard. Upon landing, they looked for any hidden enemy troops or mobile suits. After making sure that no one was waiting in ambush for them, at least for now, the GM signaled the rest of the troops to come in.

"Alright!" Yelled Monsha as he landed with the rest of the Federation forces. "Let's go kick some more ass!"

"Keep it down, Monsha." Said Burning as he moved forward with the rest of the Federation forces. "Just because we breached Solomon, doesn't mean we won yet."

"He's right." Said Hayato as he looked around, nervous that an enemy with a bazooka will come out of a corner and shoot him in the back. "This is their territory. They know every nook and cranny in this base."

"Exactly. This is their home turf. We got to be careful." Said Burning. "Especially with the enemy commander. Dozle isn't one to give up so easily. He's got something up his sleeves. I know it."

"But what?" Asked Kai as the Federation forces began to split up, either going deeper into the fortress or to help secure the remaining docks so that the forces in the other fields can move in to reinforce them.

Dozle

"Sir, the Big Zam is ready for action." Said one of Dozle's support pilots as they brought the Big Zam online. Smirking, Dozle laughed out loud as he watched the various Big Zam system's coming online.

"Good! Good!" Yelled Dozle, now in a pilot suit. "Now we can show the Federation the might of Zeon! All mobile suits! Follow me!"
