Luna came back with her third chocolate bar in three minutes. "Luna, you've got enough chocolate now..." Ginny looked at the three sets of Honeydukes chocolate that she and Hermione had let her have as they were smaller bars, perfect for a three-year-old, but now it was getting a bit much and they had to put their foot down, even if they didn't want to.
"Wha?" Luna immediately gave her sad puppy eyes. "Buh I want this!" She whined. Ginny shook her head. She had no idea how to deal with a toddler. After all, she was the youngest of seven. Hermione crouched down to Luna's size.
"But if you eat so many, all of your teeth will hurt!" She told Luna.
"No all at once! Fo' later." Luna said, not giving up.
"No is no, Luna," Hermione said firmly. Luna's lower lip began to quiver, making Hermione panic.
"What if, you put that back, and we take you to buy a toy from Zonko's!" She offered quickly.
"Any toy?" Luna asked hopefully. Hermione nodded.
"Yay!" Luna squealed.
Fifteen minutes later, Ginny and Hermione found themselves watching Luna squeal over a swimming fish toy they had bought for her. "Hi Fishy!" Luna poked her finger into the water to tap the fish again, which swam around, making the little girl giggle.
"What are you naming her Luna?" Ginny asked indulgently.
"Fishy!" She squealed, hugging it.
The three went back to Hogwarts and into the Room of Requirement. It looked completely different. For starters, it looked like there were three different rooms a living room, a bedroom with two beds in it obviously for Hermione and Ginny and the next room was the cutest little bedroom ever.
It was light blue with rainbows decorating the walls, about a hundred stuffed toys(Which Luna squealed about and dove into a particularly large pile) a little bed with a blue duvet cover with unicorns on it and a moon nightlight on a baby blue nightstand. There was also a wardrobe with a pattern of suns on it and inside was a whole collection of things for Luna to wear, even a mini Ravenclaw robe.
That night, when Hermione and Ginny were studying, the door opened slightly and a little figure clad in a blue nightgown stood at the doorway with tear-stained cheeks and cuddling a small teddy bear. "Mia? Ginny?" Luna called from the doorway a small tear running down her cheek.
"Luna?" Hermione turned around to see her. "Oh, what's wrong?" Luna took that as an invitation to run across and into Hermione's arms and start crying. Hermione was stunned, before, along with Ginny, trying to comfort her until she calmed down.
"I had a bad dream," Luna whispered. "Can I stay with you?" She begged. "Of course!" Ginny said automatically as Hermione nodded. They took Luna to their bedroom and lay her down in Ginny's bed, tucking her in, before going out again to get their homework.
"You'll stay with me when I go to sleep?" Luna asked, sitting up.
"Yes we will Luna and you can wake us both up in the morning." Hermione chuckled. "Get some sleep now, you're coming to lessons with us tomorrow!"
"Yay!" Luna watched them for a bit, before yawning and falling asleep.
