I am so sorry! A lot is going on this coming year, first I am trying to pack up the house so I can sell it, then I am house hunting in Charlotte, NC. And, on top of that my housekeeping job let me go. So, I do apologize for not writing on any of my stories during all this. I also apologize that this one is extremely short. However I did not wish to unload a bunch of stuff into the chapter, and take away the emotions of our four main characters. I hope you enjoy.

Everything was a blur to Alexandra as they made it to the hospital, where Carlisle was waiting outside. "How is he?" Aro was able to demand first, his red eyes wide with distress, as his lips drew back into a snarl. Everyone turned at that to see Charlie Swan dragging Dillon away.

"You bastard!" Alexandra screeched at the male, who stopped his struggle long enough to look over at his ex. "I hope you rot." She added.

"That you do not have to worry about, with all the evidence we found on Dillon here. I can safely say he is looking at a 25 year sentence, at least." Charlie replied simply, glaring down at the man. "Shaking a baby, is attempt of murder, abuse, not to mention to kidnapping charge."

"He is my son!" Dillon hissed.

"Not according to his birth certificate." Carlisle snapped. "Caius Volturi is his legal father."

The blonde male nodded his head as he was mentioned. "You have no claim to the child, yes biologically the child is yours. However, that gives you no right to just take him. You have no visitation rights, as you haven't been in the picture since day one."

Dillon snarled. "We shall see about that."

"I wouldn't threaten her, considering what we saw." Charlie replied before finally forcing the man into the police cruiser.

"What do you mean, what you saw?" Alexandra asked.

"Has nothing to do with Thomas, so I cannot disclose that. It will come out during the trial." Charlie replied, before he nodded. He climbed into his car and was gone.

Carlisle was quiet for a moment, before four pairs of eyes turned to him. "Come on." He replied, leading them into the hospital and recovery room. Nothing could have prepared the four, for what they were about to see.

Helpless was how the four felt, a feeling Alexandra was used to; but not the three kings. Aro looked at his mate trying to find the answers, but he couldn't his red eyes were glazed as he fought the tears. There Thomas laid in the hospital bed, unconscious as Carlisle explained he was in a coma. The small child looked smaller as he was hooked up to IV's and an extensive oxygen support. "Tommy." He whispered, as his knees touched the floor as he stayed beside his son's side. "Babbas is here." His hand gently moves to touch the boy's smaller one.

Caius walked over to the other side, laying a kiss on the top of the boy's head. A lone venom filled tear that he was unable to contain fell upon Thomas's cheek. The blonde king following his brother in kneeling beside the bed, careful of the wires. "Daddy is right by your side." He whispered, his eyes only leaving to look up to Alexandra who was across from him.

His mate in question had fallen to her knees similar to the two, tears streamed down her cheeks as she stared at her son. Pain radiating through her chest, as she focused on the little boy. Fear set in, as her eyes moved to look up at Carlisle. The look upon the blond doctors face was all the answer she needed, there was a chance they would be leaving without their son. The mere thought caused even more tears to fall, as arms circled around her waist. Turning her head to meet the pain filled gaze of Marcus, she leaned back slowly into his embrace.

Marcus's lips grazed Alexandra's temple softly, rocking her softly as he tried to calm her down. He knew it was hopeless, but it was the only way he himself was not going to break. It was also the only way Marcus was not tearing his way to the police station, in order to kill the bastard that did this. "He will pay." He murmured, as the anger filled his undead heart. Face buried into his mates neck, as he trembled with his rage.

"Why brother, I couldn't agree more." Aro replied, his red eyes leaving the frail form of his son; in order to lock with both Caius's and Marcus's own. "He will be drug back to Volterra and tortured for as long as his body can withstand it."

Caius smirked darkly at this. "I love the way you think, brother."

"So, do I?" Alexandra whispered, making the three males grin's a bit darker.

Like I said short, now here are your fun questions you all love so much. Will Thomas make a full recovery? Will he have medical issues, if he does recover? What will Aro, Marcus, and Caius do to Dillon?"
