Marinette hoped that whatever was running down the side of her cheek was just sweat and not blood.

"Why... The hell... Are you... Doing this?" She asked between gasps of breath.

Sasha tapped her chin and lowered her bat, completely ignoring Marinette; and looked over to the man. "Insults and torture dont seem to get that much of a rise from her. What else do you suggest Vex?"

Vex wasted no time answering."I think we should go to threats."

"Threats?"

Vex nodded, "but not threaten her, however..."

He trailed off leaving Sasha to pick up his thoughts.

"Her family!" She responded snapping her fingers.

Vex nodded again.

"Alright!" Sasha turned back to face Marinette again.

Smiling she pulled her phone out of her pocket. Tapping on the screen a couple of times, she showed it to Marinette.

The phone appeared to be recording the living room of Alya's apartment.

There stood her mom, Nino, Alya, and Adrien.

The video had no sound, but it wasn't that hard to figure out they were talking about her.

Alya was nervously tapping her foot. Nino kept adjusting his cap; and her mom was biting her nails, a tick Marinette knew she only did when worried.

"Guys..." She cried.

Her eyes drifted to Adrien, who was pacing back and forth. When suddenly he stop and said something to the room before running out of the apartment.

He was quickly followed out by Nino and her mom too. Alya went to the twin's rooms and later emerged with them in hand. Like the others, she also ran out.

Sasha frowned and looked at the phone.

"What!" She yelled. "This wasn't supposed to happen!"

Sasha turned to Vex and snapped her fingers at him.

Vex was at her side in an instant.

"You, watch her. I'm gonna go see what happened."

Sasha turned around and started heading towards the door. "This shouldn't have happened, it was that kid's fault. What was he even doing there? I should've killed him when I had the chance." She mumbled.

Marinette's eyes widened. "What! Kill who?"

Sasha paused and turned around, smirk on her face.

"Oh I'm talking about Adrien. When I sent those men to take him, I should have ordered them to kill him too.

Marinette growled, "leave, him alone!"

Sasha chuckled darkly. "Or what?" She walked closer, "What can you do?"

Sasha walked around Marinette.

Marinette glared at her.

"Nothing." Sasha whispered in her ear. "You're just a weak girl without the protection of you precious miraculous. Look you can't even untie yourself, much less save you're friends. Pathetic."

Marinette snapped at her face, she caught Sasha by surprise and clamped her mouth around Sasha's ear.

"Ow! Ow! Let go!" Sasha swung punches around blindly.

On of her fists hit Marinette square in the jaw, making her let go of Sasha's ear.

"You little whore!"

Once she was far enough from Marinette she slapped her straight across the face.

"Now you've done it!" She pointed at Vex, "Vex, watch her I'm leaving!"

She turned back towards Marinette. "I'm gonna rip him apart, piece by piece; and I'll make sure he knows that the one responsible for his suffering, is you!"

She slammed the door shut, and it was left.

Marinette looked up at Vex. "Please! Stop her I'll so whatever you want please!"

Vex shook his head, "I'm sorry but after she gets going there's no stopping her."

.

Adrien didn't know the first place to look for Marinette, but he figured anywhere was a good place compared to just pacing around.

He turned to Mrs. Cheng. "Maybe we should file a police report?"

She nodded, "Ok I'll go file one you kids see if you can contact your friends to help look for her. Keep me in contact."

Adrien nodded and turned to his friends.

He found Alya crying uncontrollably in Nino's arms. The twins kept looking at each other unsure of what to do.

"It's just, what am I supposed to do! First my sister then my best friend!" Alya yelled between sobs.

Nino rubbed her back and looked at Adrien.

"Go," He mouthed.

Adrien nodded and ran off.

It wasn't until Adrien was far away from his friends that he realized he had no way of actually contacting them. Adrien sighed, why did everything have to be so complicated? Why were these people after Marinette?

Ok, think Adrien. If you were after a teenage heroine and you kidnapped her where would you hide her?

He scratched at his head, Adrien had no clue.

Lost in his thoughts, he hadn't noticed a girl running towards him full force.

They both crashed into each other and fell down.

"Oh man, I'm so sorry!" Adrien cried out.

However his blood froze when he saw it was the same girl he had fought with the other day.

"You!"

The girl stood up and shook her head.

"Me?"

Adrien grabbed her by the shirt and brought her up to his face.

"Where is she," He growled.

"Where is who? And please put me down! I mean no harm! I don't even know who you are!"

"Like hell you don't know who I am, you and your other friend caused all of this! Now tell me where is Marinette! Where did you take her!"

The girls eyes widened. "Marinette? As in..." The girl looked around. "Ladybug?" She whispered.

That must mean you're..."She looked down and mumbled to herself. "I can explain everything! But you have to come with me! There's limited time!"

"How do I know this isn't a trap?" Adrien growled.

"Hey it's either come with me or get arrested by the cops. Look at the scene you're causing." The girls motioned.

Adrien hated that she was right, people were looking and pointing at the two of them. Surely it looked at least a little bit odd for a teenage boy to be holding up a ten year old girl by the collar.

Reluctantly, he put her down.

"Okay, lead the way."

The girl straightened her shirt and dusted invisible dust off of it.

"Glad you can be smart sometimes, now let's go."
