Shidou, the work and the idol
The event began when the colored lights were turned on, illuminating the small stage showing a beautiful girl in comfortable and somewhat revealing clothes; especially in the stomach and legs, with an initial pose, typical of these musical events.
When the music started, the girl began to perform her choreography, moving her spectators, who were waving colored sticks, delighted to see her on stage.
He had the privilege of watching her backstage, in the closest place one could have, and although the melody was lively and uniform, although the idol managed to walk all over the stage, while singing with passion and with drama in her expressions, although her voice was intense and strong, he did not seem to be in this world.
Something strange was happening in the world, something had been released in the depths of his mind and brought back memories that brought back more than one feeling, in just a few moments.
Memories of a beautiful voice that enchanted hearts.
Memories of an enviable figure endowed with attributes and great flexibility to jump and fly on stage.
Memories of an idol who loved what she did and lived her dreams, without pressure.
Izayoi Miku.
Memories of his wife, who had momentarily withdrawn due to her pregnancy, of which she was already about eight months pregnant.
However, Shidou was at work now, so he paid attention to the real idol in the middle of his concert.
"She's doing well and I didn't even do anything. I don't know why, but... I feel like I'm not really doing anything." The brown-eyed man thought, sighed and scratched his head a little, his blue hair was longer, so his tips shook a little.
"Hasumi-chan is already popular, I'm sure I've seen several of those guys at handshake events". He smiled with some pride, his job was to guide her to the stars and make sure she shone on stage, no matter how small she was. "I'm sure you'll get brighter and brighter."
Shidou was very proud of the young Idol in his charge, even if he preferred his wife a thousand times, she was already a star by the time he was able to work by her side.
Seeing a girl grow up in this industry was much more special, it felt like a shared achievement, in a way.
However, by this time, Hasumi was singing something quieter and softer, which surprised Shidou and caused him to look for her, is that the audience began to go crazy and get much closer to the safety measures of the place.
"Thank you~, hehe~" she said with a small smile and continued singing as she used one hand to bump into her fans who were trying to stretch as much as possible to take even one of her hair or brush her skin!
"What are you doing, Hasumi-chan?!" Shidou opened his eyes wide and got a little hysterical for a few seconds. "When she comes back...!"
And that moment, it didn't take long, since, in the dressing room of this place, a room that had a dressing table with make-up and several types of combs, as well as a bathroom and a closet with several dresses and different clothes, Shidou was standing, in front of the girl, who was sitting in front of him, with a sweaty face and a certain tiredness.
"Manager-san, if you'll excuse me, I was just about to change, unless~" she said in surprise and opened her eyes wide, even blushing slightly.
"Listen, I know you are tired and I will leave you alone after this, but I can't wait any longer," he said seriously as he saw her with a slightly scowling face.
"Ah...!" she let go with some excitement, blushing a little more. "So... After all, does this have to happen...?"
Shidou wavered a little in her temper, but if I had to scold her for doing something crazy, even if it looked that way, I would do it.
"Yes, you won't be spared from this, Hasumi-chan."
"¡...! I-I see..." she replied and began to play with her long, dark blue hair, looking away; her purple eyes emitted a glow. "Um, be nice, please..."
"...Huh?"
Just a moment...
Another moment later...
"Wait... What are you talking about...?" asked Shidou, with a face full of uncertainty.
"Ah... I didn't know what you were like, manager-san," she said in a strange voice, grabbing her cheeks with her hands, blushing and shaking her head. "But you're already married to Miku-sama, no, no~, what kind of predicament is this? I'm just a little flower and yet..."
"What?!" Hasumi then stuck to his chest while the man's mouth was open and his eyes were like plates. "What kind of story are you making up in your mind?!"
"I think it's okay, if it's the closest I'll get to Miku-sama~."
"You..." Shidou looked her with a nervous tic on his eyebrow and pulled him away quickly and with some force. "You're getting it all wrong!"
"Kyaaaa!" The girl went a little further and laughed, but because she didn't measure the distance with the chair, she fell to the ground. "Ahh! Ugh... Uuh..."
Shidou sighed and shook his head in disapproval.
After the girl was in her chair, her face was already more serene, but she looked away as her foot was carefully bandaged by her manager.
"This is the third time, Hasumi-chan..."
"I know... but it's no big deal, I'll be fine tomorrow."
"You have to take better care of yourself, and stop your dramatics, please."
"Gosh, you can't be played with anymore, manager-san, hmp."
"I'm in charge of you, if you get injured, it would be terrible!"
"You already talk like my father..." she said quietly, looking away with her arms crossed.
"And what you did on stage, what was that? You know you're not supposed to be this close to the audience, that could have gotten out of control."
"What's wrong with that? It's like handshake events, but free, tell me who else does that, huh?" She smiled contentedly and raised her hands to the ceiling, as if she had a special power. "With this, my fans can't live without me!"
Shidou said nothing, only sighed and bowed his head a little.
"Please, I know you're a member of your school's drama club, but... Really, this is serious stuff." Shidou watched as the girl blinked a couple of times and let out a big breath of air. "Well, thank you. Now, why did you do that?"
"Well, actually, I was attracted to my audience," she said in her natural tone, it was a somewhat serious voice that showed certainty or security. "Isn't it the job of the Idols to cheer up the audience and show them a good time, creating happy memories they'll never forget?"
"Well, yes, but you understand it can be dangerous, right? Not everyone can reach your hand."
"Well, that's true... However, I think this is what they come for, manager-san" she said with a slight frown. "An unforgettable experience; that's how I want to do all my concerts. If you think it's crazy, so be it."
"Hasumi-chan..."
Yokoyama Hasumi, a 17-year-old high school student, member of the drama club and with a mind full of character, her dream is to participate in a musical film, where she can act and sing, the two things she likes best. But to do that, she had to be very popular and catch the eye.
Shidou knew that, although she was lost among her spontaneous performances, he was in front of a girl who was really trying to realize her dreams.
"But I'll be careful, manager-san, and thank you very much for taking care of me," he said with a small smile. "Hm..."
"What is it?"
"Nothing, I was just wondering if I should play the invalid now, would you help me by being my personal assistant?"
"I'll take you home, get changed," he said heavily and left the room.
"Thank you! Really, you're a good manager, I'm sorry to bother you so much with my... Things" she said with slight insecurity, while Shidou was leaning against the wall. "I don't do it with someone I don't trust, but... I have another rule too, and that's... I won't do this with someone I don't trust. In other words... Thank you for being like a friend to me."
Shidou didn't say anything, but he stopped looking at a picture of Miku on his cell phone, it was from when he married her, he was there too, just like his sisters.
"I'm still your manager, Hasumi-chan. And even if one day I'm not, I hope we'll still get along."
"Shidou-san..." she whispered as she taped her forehead to the door, slightly flushed, but Shidou didn't hear anything.
Perhaps if he did not have so many other things on his mind, he would notice the details and the essentials, but in his mind he was only thinking about how to make things right with his wife, with the Idol who would always be his number one.
