It's been a while, but we're back now with a new part of the episode! Let's see how we can shake things up! Anyway, enjoy!

Later that morning, in the Heyerdahl's car, Phoebe was quietly and casually humming to herself as she seemed to be reading a book. Rhonda and Nadine, who had agreed to cancel their plans for the rest of the morning, were sitting next to Phoebe as they told her parents that they wanted to come to the fencing competition with her, for moral support. However, the two were more concerned over their best friend as they looked at each other in concern.

"I'm telling you, Phoebe, just because you got lucky twice in a row, doesn't mean you'll find yourself lucky a third time!" Rhonda sighed. "They are going to make sure there aren't any mailboxes in the area you're in!"

"Oh, so just because I called the police on them for destroying public property, they're going to come after me, am I reading that correctly?" Phoebe asked as she looked up from her book, raising an eyebrow.

"...We just don't want you hurt." Nadine said, being concerned.

"Girls, let me ask you one thing." Phoebe said as she put the book aside. "Who was the girl who managed to get you out of any sticky situations that a certain red shirt wearing girl always got us into?"

Rhonda felt a little taken back... before sighing. "You did."

"Uh-huh, yep. Even when you refused to listen to me, I always had your back." Phoebe nodded as she went back to her book.

"I don't think you're quite grasping the concept." Rhonda sighed as she used her hand to lower Phoebe's book down so that the two would look at each other in the eyes. "Two bullies that you put in jail for destroying a mailbox that you turned in are out of jail and are currently after you. Aren't you going to question HOW they got out of jail or look afraid that they could be after you?"

The smart girl just stared at Rhonda with an unconvinced look as she said in the most sarcastic voice possible, "Eep. They're out of jail. They're going to get their revenge on me." She scoffed. "You girls worry too much. Like I said, I have a plan. Now, let us not speak anymore about Wolfgang and Ludwig."

With that, Phoebe went back to her book, refusing to talk. Rhonda was about to say something, but the smart girl raised up a finger towards her face, which meant, in the most blunt way possible, "Shut up and look the other way." Feeling dejected, Rhonda pouted and crossed her arms as she turned towards Nadine and whispered in her ear.

"Do you think Phoebe means it when she says she has a plan?" Rhonda asked.

"Gee, I'm not too sure." Nadine sighed. "I like to say yes, but I don't know. Not even they would be dumb enough to fall for the same mailbox trick twice."

Rhonda bit her lip as she looked over to her reading friend in concern. "Well... it's just..."

"But..." Nadine raised a hand as Rhonda's gaze turned to her. "I feel that Phoebe is smart. We've seen her do quite a lot of feats over the past few years. Why do you think our sports field is named 'Gerald and Phoebe Field'?"

"Well..." The young girl paused. "Because Gerald saw that Phoebe was brave and smart, willing to protect our lot that he decided on not being selfish and named it officially after him and Phoebe?"

"Well that, AND Phoebe's just as integral to the member of our group, more than you think. You're the leader of our group, even if you make hasty decisions." Nadine smirked, causing Rhonda to blush furiously. "I'm the sporty one of the group and fascinated with stuff that most girls would never go for. I mean, sports and bugs, that's the definition of a tomboy right there!"

"And then we have Phoebe. The smart one." Rhonda giggled. "The Velma to our gang, the Donatello to our turtles, the Tails to our Sonic Heroes..."

"Even before Lila came along, we shown ourselves to be quite the trio." Nadine giggled as Phoebe lifted her book and listened in. "We're sort of a modern Powerpuff Girls, if we didn't have superpowers."

Rhonda laughed a little. "Oh, I suppose you're right. I don't know what I was thinking."

The young, reading girl couldn't help but give a small smile as she kept reading her book. It had been obvious that Phoebe had been listening in, but she didn't care. Just knowing that she was the glue that kept their friendship together was more than enough for her.

A few minutes later, Nadine and Rhonda were seen sitting next to Phoebe's parents in the crowd as everyone seemed to be looking eager for the tournament. Rhonda turned to Kyo Heyerdahl with a small grin, "Thanks for letting us come along on this little trip! I'm personally excited to see Phoebe compete!"

"It's my pleasure." Kyo grinned. "I'm sure seeing her friends cheer our little girl on will give her quite the boost. After all, I taught her a lot about fencing."

"She did say she's been practicing a lot for some time." Nadine grinned. "I can't wait to see how she does."

"Whoo!" Rhonda let out a holler as some figures came out in black robes with an older man dressed in Musketeer clothes had came out and held the microphone close to his mouth.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you and welcome you all to the 49th Annual Young Fencers Competition. Our competitors have been practicing for quite some time now, and are looking forward to competing in our wonderful battles. Sixteen competitors enter, but there can only be one winner."

Everybody applauded as the older man gave a nod. Rhonda couldn't help but give a sigh of relaxation as she looked around the crowd, feeling a little confident as she relaxed... or she would have... if her keen eyes hadn't spotted two people sitting near the front, enjoying a small soda and some popcorn. Two familiar fifth grade dropouts that had previously been in jail, but were now free like birds. Rhonda yelped as she tried to turn her head around, about to get Nadine. "Nadine!"

"Shh!" Nadine shushed her.

"But Nadine!" Rhonda started, but Nadine shut the girl's mouth.

"And now, to introduce our competitors! Representing the Academy of Young Fencers, we have Bernard Heygar, Yasuhiro Miller, Akane Kawasaki, and Hubert Drake." The announcer called out as the four kids called unlifted their hoods and waved.

People applauded as Rhonda tried to pull on Nadine's sleeve, looking worried, but Nadine simply kept pushing the girl away.

"Representing the Fencer and Dramatic Arts School, Peter Murray, Mavis Smith, Lynn Lewis, and Kit Slayer." The announcer introduced the next four kids in line.

As Nadine looked eager, she kept getting more annoyed at Rhonda trying to tug at the girl's sweater. "What is it, Rhonda!"

"Representing the Young Fencers School of Sword Handling, Fern Arable, Clarance Hudson, Cho Meridith, and Howie Cowell." The announcer said the next names as everyone applauded for those four kids.

"LOOK!" Rhonda whispered as she pointed towards the seats. Nadine looked over to see the calm Wolfgang and Ludwig happily eating as her eyes widened in terror.

"And finally, representing Hillwoods' Fencing Arts, Kikki Benjamin, Thaddeus Gammelthorpe, Park Toji and Phoebe Heyerdahl!" The last four faces were revealed as Curly couldn't help but give a sheepish grin as Phoebe held her sword in delight. Pudding happily waved to the crowd as Park looked pretty determined.

But Nadine and Rhonda weren't focusing on the applause that Hillwood's students were receiving, nor were they focusing on their best friend. Their only focus were the hidden smirks on the faces of the two former bullies.

Part 3 of this episode is now done! How did you guys like it? Next time, the competition is on, and Wolfgang and Ludwig are on the move! What will Rhonda and Nadine do to stop these two? Anyway, read, review, criticize and suggest, folks!
