Hey everyone! I AM ALIVE!

First and foremost, thank you to all of you who continued to comment and private message me about this story. I love you guys, because you have stuck with this thing. Even though it has been forever since I have been able to update. Life got busy, I know that can be a lame excuse, but that's the major problem. The other issue I faced was just a lack of wanting to even write anything. It hit me hard guys. I finally decided to sit down and write on this again. I apologize again for the hiatus, and I hopefully will be able to write this to a conclusion that we can all enjoy. For now here is the next chapter of the Forgotten Legacy.

Percy stood there calmly taking in the situation. His friends were wearing full Jedi robes with battle armor over them. They each had instinctively pulled their lightsabers instead of their demigod weapons. Piper seemed to be wearing a jumpsuit, similar to many pilots he had encountered through his recent travels. They were a sight for sore eyes, but Percy also couldn't help but think about how they had never tried to contact him over the last three years.

Percy reached out with the Force and felt feelings of relief, but also anger from each person in front of him. A lot of anger was starting to grow in Jaina especially. Percy could not believe she was getting angry with him. He attached his helmet to his side and leveled a look that was border lining a glare at the group.

"About time you arrived here," he said shortly.

"Percy? Is it really you?" Nico asked. He was glad to see his surrogate older brother alive after all these years. It meant that Percy was still a survivor, and someone he could look up to.

"Who else would it be Nico? Now if we are done asking stupid questions, follow me into my ship, we can go over the battle plan I sent to your generals," Percy said as he walked up the ramp into his ship.

The demigods shared a look with each other that did not go unnoticed by Anakin. It was clear that this was not typical behavior of their leader and something was obviously up. Jaina, however, did not notice anything as she stood there watching Percy retreat back into the Wystoh.

He did not even acknowledge me, she thought. Percy looked either over her or right through her. How dare he! She had been waiting for him, looking out for any signs of him, trying to find him when she had a free chance, and he just blew her off like that. Jaina balled her fists up and stomped towards Percy's retreating form.

Thalia paled slightly when Percy spoke to them, and now watching Jaina make her way towards Percy she was coming back to her senses. Percy was never that direct with anyone unless he was upset with somebody. She had to stop Jaina before she unintentionally made it worse, while they figured out how to diffuse the situation.

"Jaina, wait!" she called out, but it was clear that Jaina was not listening. She turned and looked at Nico. They were the closest to Percy and would have to help keep the problem from escalating. The two nodded to each other and hurried after Jaina.

Anakin looked down at Hazel, "Should we go with them?"

Hazel and Piper both shook their heads.

"Whenever there is a problem with one of those three," Hazel explained, "It's best to just let them work it out together. They will be dealing with that before working on the battle plan anyway."

Piper sighed, "They've known each other longest and can tell what each one is thinking usually. I just hope it does not take too long. Every minute here is a minute more Jacen is held captive."

Anakin was about to say something, but was cut off by incoherent shouting coming from inside the Wystoh. He recognized his sister's voice among the others, but could not tell what they were actually saying. It was not until Nico clearly shouted out that the three outside knew the trouble was escalating.

"PERCY NO!"

Thalia and Nico were both forcefully shoved out of the ship. Luckily their reflexes and the Force helped them to somersault backwards and end up standing with their lightsabers drawn. Confusion spread through the other members of the team as they all felt an overwhelming dark presence coming from Percy's ship.

Percy's armored boots clanged against the metal of the ramp as he slowly and purposefully made his way out of the ship. Jaina was held up in front of him, clutching her neck as if she was choking. Everyone could tell it was Percy who was choking her. Drawing their weapons, each of the team members watched warily, wondering what Percy would do next.

Percy spoke in an eerily calm voice, "You show up here, and are angry with me for not glancing at you, when I have spent the last three years with no contact from any of you. How did you expect me to react?"

Percy threw Jaina's body to the ground in a heap. He turned to look at the others who gasped. Percy's eyes had turned yellowish with a red ring around them. They had all been taught that this was the look of someone who was giving in completely to the dark side of the Force. It was a look that had not been really seen since the fall of the Emperor.

"Percy, we tried to reach you, but all of our messages met dead space. We even blasted out messages through public channels that could be found by anyone. Just so we could find out if you were still alive," Hazel cried out.

Hazel had gotten close with Percy ever since they first met back in New Rome. He was her protector and best friend, especially after Frank embraced more of his Ares heritage. She could tell he was hurting, probably more than when he lost Annabeth, and she hated it.

"Why wouldn't you just ask your precious Grand Master for the code to contact Starkiller? He had to find him somehow!" Percy's voice was rising and the anger was growing. The water nearby started to grow agitated with his emotions.

The Jedi and Demigods' faces paled. They could not believe they had not thought of that. They had been so caught up in the war after it started that everything became focused on each battle and stopping the enemy. The feeling of shame spread across them all, less so for Anakin who felt bad, but was worried about Percy attacking his sister again.

"Percy….I'm sorry," Jaina sputtered out. She had been trying to catch her breath after Percy threw her, "We didn't think about that. We've been so focused on this war."

Percy rolled his eyes, "Every war I've been in there was time to contact friends. I tried to send messages to each of you with the codes I was given by Skywalker when we first arrived. None of you answered."

Piper groaned, "That's my fault Percy. I told the Jedi that I thought it would be a better idea if we changed our comm codes frequently so they would not get picked up by the Vong."

Percy shrugged, "It's whatever at this point. Now get your asses in here and lets go over the battle plan," he leveled a glare at Jaina, "I didn't find out where your brother is being held just to lord it over you."

Jaina nodded, "Thank you Percy. We appreciate what you have done and how you're helping us."

Percy put his helmet back on, "Don't thank me yet. You haven't heard my fee for the information."

He walked into his ship motioning for the others to follow. As they did they glanced at one another, sharing the same thought. Why was he going to make them pay?

The group walked onto the ship, uneasy and on edge for what was to come. Percy was standing in a gathering area which had couches and a holo display turned to the middle of the room. The interior reminded the demigods of Percy's cabin back at Camp Half-Blood with its ocean theme. There were what looked like some sort of tridents and sets of teeth on the walls. The teeth looked similar to shark teeth, but were as large, if not larger, than Percy, and some had at least three rows of teeth on them. Percy stood looking at the holo map of Coruscant, waiting on the others.

"Before we begin," Thalia said, "What did you mean by your fee?"

Percy tilted his helmeted head towards Thalia, "I mean the money you are going to pay me for this information. Your alliance explained that you would be able to wire me my payment. It was dangerous work for my team and I to gather this info."

"What's your fee?" Hazel asked. She was ready to find enough precious gems in the ground to pay off whatever the cost was.

"I'm looking at fifty million credits," Percy said.

Anakin's eyes bulged out of his head, "Are you serious? This is a simple information exchange. What in hell could make you think that's a legitimate offer?"

Percy's helmeted head turned towards Anakin. Nobody needed to see Percy's eyes to know he was angry, "It is the only offer. Friends of mine were seriously injured obtaining this information, not to mention several good warriors were killed. This payment covers their loss."

"Percy, I know you're mad, but that's ridiculous," Thalia commented, "We don't have that kind of scratch on us."

"Then good luck saving Jaina's brother. He must have been more foolish than I realized if he allowed himself to get caught and taken to the center of this mess," Percy said dismissively.

Thalia motioned for the others to join her in a huddle, "Alright guys, we definitely screwed up, and now we're paying for it."

"I'm surprised you're not frying his ass, babe," Nico muttered.

Thalia grimaced, "Blame it on the Jedi training. It keeps me more level headed. Now, I say we comm Master Skywalker and see what he wants us to do. Maybe we can give Percy part of the money now, and the rest on completion of the mission. He is supposed to be fighting with us anyway."

Anakin nodded, "That is probably the best choice right now. I don't understand why your friend is acting like this. You explained the situation, surely he can be forgiving?"

Piper shook her head, "No, he's more heart broken than ever now. Seeing us was like opening several old wounds all at once, and in the most uncomfortable places."

"How do you know?" Anakin asked.

Hazel patted his arm, "You have to remember Annie, one of each of our parents are gods where we come from. Piper's is the goddess of love. She can sense these things."

Jaina's face paled, "So this is all my fault?"

Piper shook her head, "No, although that is a lot of the pain he is feeling. He feels he lost the only family he had left from our galaxy, outside his mom of course. We've always been close since the rise of the Giants in our world. He feels betrayed. For Percy, that is the worst insult that could ever be given."

"And now he has been adopted by the Mandalorians," Anakin whispered softly, "We may be more screwed than I first thought."

"What do you mean?" Hazel asked.

Anakin sighed, "The Mandalorians, as you all know, are a warrior based society. They honor warriors and adopt from many other cultures. The one thing they all recognize though is loyalty to their clan, family, and brotherhood. That's why they were chosen to teach the special forces in the clone wars. At least, that's what mom says."

Nico groaned, "So you mean they are an entire planet of Percys?"

Thalia looked at her boyfriend, "Gods, that is the scariest thing I have heard of."

"Guys I just got a response from Uncle Luke," Jaina interrupted.

"When did you comm him?" Thalia asked.

Jaina shrugged, "While Anakin was talking. I just sent a typed message to him. He said offer him what we have now, and that he will receive the money as soon as the alliance arrives at Coruscant."

"That way he has to help us with the initial fight," Nico finished for everyone.

"I don't like that," Hazel said, "Percy feels betrayed enough. What if they try something with him as well?"

"Lucky for me, this ship has enough firepower to be a threat on its own. Plus, I have backup a hyperspace jump away from Coruscant," Percy interrupted them.

The group turned to face the angry mandalorian. None of them saw him simply as a Jedi or a demigod anymore. It was obvious he had adopted this new culture.

"How did you hear us?" Piper asked.

Percy snorted, "It's a small ship. Also, if you don't think I have enhancers in this suit, or even inside my ship, you are fooling yourself. I'm always prepared."

"So you know our plan then?" Anakin asked, trying to keep his face stoic and unfeeling. A part of him still wanted to lunge with his lightsaber at the cocky asshole in front of him for what he did to his sister.

Percy nodded, "How much do you have right now?"

Nico sighed, "We have around ten percent of what you're asking."

Percy held out his data pad for the transfer. No words came from him as he stood there waiting. Jaina could not believe what she was seeing. This was not the Percy she had known back at the academy. She screwed up worse with him than ever before. She had stayed faithful to Percy while he had been gone, knowing that he would hate her otherwise. She did feel kind of bad Zekk. He had shown interest in her, and she turned him down because of Percy. Percy, the man in front of her now. The man she had missed. The man that would probably not be afraid to pull the trigger of a blaster pointed at her head. She had to fix things with him. She would do anything.

A ding sounded on Percy's datapad, "Transaction completed. You have a deal. I'll send you the schematics of where they are holding him. We are going to have to go deep into Coruscant, and as maneuverable as your fighters are, it will be better if we have less ships going. I will go over the battle plan with you all over comms and holos while we make the jump."

"What should we do with our fighters?" Piper asked.

Percy did not stop prepping his ship as he answered, "I would suggest sending them back to your fleet with the astromechs. Or leave them here and get them later for all I care."

Piper shared a look with Jaina, "What do you think?"

"I'm sending mine back to the fleet," the female jedi told her friend.

"Come on Pipes," Thalia said, "I'm sure you are a better shot than me with the guns on Nico's ship. Send your fighter back and ride with us. Sounds like Death head here is going to need Anakin's help flying anyway, so me or Jaina can work whichever gun Hazel's not on."

Piper nodded solemnly. She did not want to be without her fighter, she had become a rather accomplished pilot since they arrived. She would rather be behind the stick when they encountered the Vong force orbiting the planet.

"Be ready in thirty minutes," Percy called out, almost like an order, "There is only a small window for us to slip through and not have to fight the entire fleet they have."

The others made their way off of the ship. Piper and Jaina walked to their X-Wings to send them back to the fleet, giving their astromechs the message that they are on the large ship with the others.

Nico moved quickly into his ships pilot chair and began the startup sequence. He prayed to his father, Hephestus, and any other god that might be listening that his ship handles this trip well. He really did not want to embarass himself in front of Percy. Thalia sat next to him, placing her hand on his. They shared a pained look with each other. Thalia sealed the cockpit and opened up a private comm with Percy's ship.

"Percy, do you copy," she asked softly.

There was a pregnant pause. Thalia assumed that he was ignoring them completely. Finally, there was a response.

"What."

Thalia let out the breath she did not know she was holding, she noticed Nico did too, "Percy, its me and Nico. We wanted to tell you how sorry we are. We really have been on mission after mission. We should have tried to comm and let you know our plan with switching the codes.'

"Cui ogir'olar. The past is the past and we have a fight to get to." Percy said bluntly.

Nico sighed, "Percy we don't speak whatever language you started with. Look we are sorry. We do not want to go into a situation where we may not come out, and be mad at each other. We just want to be us again."

The comm was silent again. Nico did not usually get that emotional, but he did not want the worst to happen and things go unresolved between all of them.

Finally, Percy replied, "It's Mando'a. Maybe I can teach you a few phrases."

"That would be great," Thalia said, "Are we okay Percy?"

Percy groaned through the commlink, "You know, I hate my flaw. Loyalty sucks sometimes, especially when I would like nothing more than punch this thing into hyperdrive and find my own way back home to Mandalore and leave you all to your fates. Dammit, though, I love each of you still, so I'm going to help you in this fight. Give me time, we aren't going to be as friendly for a bit. Let's talk after we save the idiot."

"Thanks, and Percy," Nico called through the comm.

"Yea Death Breath," Percy replied.

"We got your six," Nico told him.

Percy chuckled lightly, "Pass the word through your crew about what I said. We will all talk again after the battle. Oh, and I have Jaina on board apparently."

"What? She wouldn't be that stupid would she?" Nico asked Thalia.

Thalia rolled her eyes, "Percy, are you going to be okay, or should I come get her."

"Don't worry Thals. We will be fine," he told her, "There's a part of me that still cares about her and knows that this is not like it was with Annabeth."

Thalia smiled, "Percy, you know we only want the best for you right?"

"Yeah Thalia, I do," he replied.

"That includes her. She has been worried ever since you disappeared with Starkiller when the war started. Don't be a complete ass alright."

Percy blinked as he stared out his ship's viewport, "I'll try Thaila. Now let's get these things in the air and go save Piper's boyfriend."

He signed off of the comm and turned his chair to face the hold of his ship. He had already started the ship, and the autopilot would take care of taking him into space. He would have to plot the hyperspace coordinates, but he had a minute to deal with his stowaway.

He walked towards the hold of his ship, not paying attention to the young woman who was trying to hide her presence in the Force. As he linked up his holo projector and comm system to broadcast into Nico's ship, he could feel the hurricane of emotions going through Jaina right now. Guilt seemed to be the largest among all of them.

At least she's sorry, Percy thought.

Percy pushed his Force senses further out. Bardan had taught him a great deal about using the Force, some of it, Percy was sure, was not necessarily approved by the other Jedi. Percy knew it helped him in combat and saved his life numerous times, but what would his friends think when he used the techniques?

Percy could sense the relief washing over most of the others in the Cerberus. He knew that Nico and Thalia were glad to tell the others that things would most likely be okay, and to just give him some time. Percy closed his eyes, ignoring the head's up display in his helmet for a moment, and just let their relief wash over him. He had spent so much time in uncertain situations and jumping around the galaxy collecting bounties, that he had forgotten how calming it can be to be with long time friends. Sure, the Skirata clan were a great group, and they had become close during his training, but they swore to stay out of the fighting, and so Percy had to leave them behind. They would help him if he needed it, certainly, but they were a secretive bunch who claimed that their secrecy kept them alive for as long as it had.

Percy sensed movement behind him. He turned around to see Jaina coming out of her hiding spot from behind a couple of cargo crates. Percy glanced at her for a second, then noticed an alert appear on his HUD. The Wystoh was about to take off. Percy used his eye to dismiss the alert and propped himself against the interior wall of the ship, leveling his gaze at Jaina.

"Why are you here?" Percy asked. The HUD countdown showed him there was one minute before take off.

Jaina looked heartbroken at his tone, "Percy, I am so sorry. I wanted to take time to explain things to you and try to fix this problem we are having."

Percy grunted, "What's to fix? You obviously enjoyed my company when I was around, but as soon as I left I was old news. Why don't you contact that guy Zekk? Maybe he will be willing to be with you."

Percy knew it was a low blow. He had pulled Zekk's name from Jaina's mind with a Force technique that Bardan had taught him. Was it dirty, yes, but this was another form of war and like the saying goes, all's fair in love and war.

Jaina stood their flabbergasted. How did Percy know about Zekk and his feelings for her? Jaina had to stop this line of thought quickly.

"Percy, Zekk is just a friend and wingman. We work well together, just like Piper and I. There's nothing there," Jaina could feel her voice waver slightly.

Percy caught the waver as well. He adjusted his stance as the take off countdown reached zero. He knew the lurch that the ship gave would knock Jaina off her feet and towards him. He did not want her to get hurt, so he was ready to catch her. As the ship lurched, Percy felt Jaina reach out through the Force to keep from moving. Smirking, Percy flicked a finger to push Jaina off balance. She wavered for a second and then stumbled across the ship.

Percy caught her so she would not land hard against his armor. It was made of the Mandalorian metal beskar, and was one of the hardest materials in the galaxy. It could even stop lightsaber blades from stabbing through. To put it simply, if someone were to run into it, it would definitely hurt.

"You should be more careful," Percy told her.

Jaina glared at him, "You shouldn't trip someone with the Force like that."

Percy smirked behind his helmet, "When are you going to explain yourself?"

Jaina sighed and rubbed her upper arm, "Percy, it was not long after you left that we were contacted. We were told of the Vong threat and had to act immediately. It has been non-stop missions since then. I would have searched for your messages or even broadcasted some myself to you."

Percy held his hand up, "Jaina, I know. Thalia and Nico told me. I just wanted to sense if you were truly sincere in your apology and if you were going to give me the same reasoning they did."

Jaina looked up at him with hope in her eyes, "So, you forgive us?"

Percy shook his head, "Not completely yet. Let me process through all of this my way. We can talk more after the battle ahead."

Jaina nodded. Percy walked back to the cockpit to put in the hyperspace coordinates and heard her footsteps softly follow them. She sat in the co-pilot's seat and turned to look at him.

"Percy," she said softly, "I have to know. Have I blown any chance I had with you?"

Percy remained silent as he punched in the coordinates for Coruscant. He let his mind wrap around the question. He looked at her out of the corner of his helmet's viewport. She had a hopeful look on her face that looked like the wrong answer would shatter her completely. Percy sighed and leaned forward before saying, "Let's focus on what is immediately ahead of us now."

Longer chapter for the long hiatus. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I hope to update in the next week or so. Thank you guys again for all the support you have given me. You are all amazing.
