Shidou, Miku and the marriage 3

Trying hard to talk, fighting her voice that refused to come out, looking for a way out of distractions; it was all part of a plan of her frightened heart. But when something is breaking and you want to fix it, you try to repair it, anyway you can, you have to dive to the bottom.

Eight months had passed since her pregnancy, the limit was about to be reached and Miku still couldn't find a way to solve this.

She was looking for a moment to talk, but she always regretted it when he came back tired and even worse, when he told her about his day with his new Idol in his charge: it bothered her a lot and she couldn't explain it.

She was afraid of the future and wanted to tell him about it.

Without Shidou to support her and busy with another girl, she felt incomplete; like a puzzle with a missing piece that she cannot find.

While Miku was watching TV in the room of her mansion, she didn't notice the madness that the Idol in charge of Itsuka Shidou had done, for having so many things on her mind, maybe she wasn't watching this to study her 'rival', of course not, she understood that there was no comparison between an apprentice and a professional like her; that girl was missing a lot, according to Miku.

She only watched the concert to make sure it started and ended as it should, so her Darling would have no problems to deal with.

However, she couldn't concentrate on that and a memory came to her mind.

Mana and Kotori had come together to talk to Miku and get the whole truth about her emotional state, without the older brother knowing, so they came for a visit one day and were received with open arms and first class attention thanks to the Idol's servitude.

What began as a normal conversation ended in almost an interrogation in which they both cornered Miku and demanded the most difficult thing from her: the truth.

Needless to say, it was very difficult and they made her cry, which made both of them understand and soften their tones, at least a little.

"Miku-san, just because you feel you are losing it, it does not mean you are lost, it does not mean that my Nii-sama does not love you, it does not mean anything, it is just fear and doubt," she said as she pointed at her with a slightly scowling finger. "But it does not matter what I think, does it? You have to discuss it with him, even if you think he is upset, but if he is, you should know by now that my Nii-sama knows how to forgive, and it is not as if he has not done so with you before; you know what I mean."

"Y-Yes, but... I've only caused him trouble... and he seems to... n-not realize how I feel, how much I... need him..." she said with painful hesitation, something seemed to be stuck in her throat and hurting her.

"Miku, are you telling me that you doubt the love of my Onii-chan?" asked Kotori, with arms crossed, looking at her very seriously, Mana looked at Kotori with some surprise.

"…!" Miku's eyes opened a little more, then she bent her head and wiped the tears from her eyes. "Of course not..."

"Then...!" Kotori took her by her blouse and lifted her up a little to force her to see, Miku and Mana were frightened by her impulsive grip. "Stop creating stories in your mind of things that aren't happening! Don't think that without Shidou here, you can't do anything! You can do many things, like sing, dance, be a good friend, be a great support, you're successful, famous and I don't know anyone with a talent like yours, and you don't need these things to be who you are!"

Kotori untied the black ribbons and threw them on the floor, breathed through her mouth for saying all that so quickly, she was watched by both of them, totally stunned.

"Kotori-san..." Miku looked at the tapes of her sister-in-law on the floor, smiled, and rose to look at him with a smile.

"I don't want to hear any more nonsense from your mouth..." she said as she looked away with disdain, but then Miku embraced her, as well as Mana. "¡…!"

"Miku-san?"

"Thank you...!"

"Kotori-san and Mana-san are right..." She thought with a small smile on her face, closed her eyes for a few moments. "You were very hard, but I appreciate it, thank you very much."

Even if all this time they were floating in the middle of a typhoon, this had to end and Miku would make sure of it, as the concert had ended well, so it was a good night, even if Shidou would return tired, this time, it would not matter.

When Shidou arrived, it was already past eleven o'clock at night, he thought on the way home that maybe he shouldn't have taken the Idol home, but his kindness was his great curse, sometimes.

"I hope Miku is already asleep, there's only a month left, maybe less... she has to rest." Shidou thought about it when he went from the living room to the stairs, to go up to the room to change clothes and sleep; he needed it. "After this concert, Hasumi-chan will have a week off, which means, a week off for me too. I'll fix all this with a date, tomorrow!"

The young producer was very confident, after much thought, he came to that conclusion. After all, a date always fixed everything in the past, why wouldn't it now?

He opened the door to the room quietly, came in and it was very dark, but not too dark. So he started to change his clothes for a more comfortable one, as quietly as possible, but halfway through putting on his T-shirt he felt watched and turned his head towards the bed.

"Miku...?" His wife was sitting on the bed, watching him.

"Welcome home, darling," she said quietly, but with a small smile. "You sure took your time, even though the concert was over at half past nine..."

"I know where this is going..." Shidou swallowed some saliva and finished putting on his shirt to walk to bed, unable to look at it.

"I'm sorry, but you didn't have to wait for me, you know I'm..."

"Of course I had to, you're not the only one who cares, even if it's you! I care about you too!" she cried out in an annoying voice, but she was also weak.

Shidou was a bit frightened, he didn't expect this at all. It wasn't the claim he thought it was. Miku held his hand tightly, but she used both hands to catch him.

"I-I'm sorry... for everything, but I've never felt this... because since we got married, you were only mine, you said you'd only support me, you said I'd be your number one idol, you said..."

"It's the truth, this is just work!" he shouted with some desperation, but he squeezed Miku's hand, shook his head a couple of times. "Don't think otherwise, if I am happy with her progress, in a way, it is also mine, this is my job, Miku, and you know you are the best for me, the most important! Please, Miku... this is the proof of all that, but you don't seem to care!"

Shidou put his hand gently on her belly, which was quite large, so Miku shed a couple of tears and bent over, losing strength in her grip.

"Miku... don't you love our baby...? Because I think... if he looks like me, I don't know if I'll still be your number one" he said softly, she raised her head a little to see him between her bangs. "And if he looks like you, wouldn't that make you happy?"

"Darling, no matter what it is, I know it'll be wonderful," she whispered with some happiness and was able to lift her head a little to look at his face as her tears streamed down her cheeks. "I... I overreacted and I'm sorry, but then... she came and I felt... I know you can't do anything, it's work... it will be for a year and it's a long way from over, but I'm afraid... because without you, I can't do anything! Uuuh... uuh..."

"¡…!"

"I only changed... because Darling saved me, even if I lose everything, I know I won't feel like dying... because you're here, by my side... worrying about me, supporting me, listening to me, loving me..." she explained with difficulty, her tone was bittersweet. She wiped her tears with her fingers. "It was like that since we got married... I-I always thought it was like a dream, b-but... you don't worry about me alone now..."

"No".

"…"

Miku felt that everything would start to fall apart, she wanted him to deny it, but instead...

"…!" Then she was hugged with some strength and felt her head gently stroked. "Darling..."

"I love only you, Miku. I always worry about other people, sometimes more than I worry about myself... I'm sorry, Miku, I didn't think it would be like that... something that could hurt you, but... that's not going to change" he said seriously, but in a calm tone. By this time, she was already hugging him. "But it doesn't matter, because I won't love anyone else the way I love you. You're the person I care about most, even when I should be paying attention, all I could think about was you and how to fix all this."

"…!" She closed her eyes tightly and held him tighter. "I-I'm sorry for not... saying anything so far, I didn't want to bother you anymore... and I didn't want to create more problems..."

"I'm not upset, now I understand what was happening," he said with relief, but then he got serious again. "The only thing that bothers me is that our baby doesn't have a name yet..."

"...but it does," she said with a little smile.

"Huh?" He parted a bit to look at her, she wasn't crying anymore. "But if we haven't talked about it..."

"Ufufu~, but of course I thought of one, for when we talked about it... sorry, again..."

"Well, I'm sorry too... but it doesn't matter, okay? I forgive you." He smiled warmly. "Could you forgive me, too?"

Miku smiled and kissed him on the lips suddenly; she wrapped her arms around his neck and didn't leave him for more than a minute, leaving Shidou almost breathless.

"I suppose that would be a yes..." he thought, flushed in his cheeks and drawing breath, she only giggled.

"I'll forgive you if you turn into Shiori-san~."

"Huh?" The blush faded and she looked at Miku with some fear. "Whaaaat?!"

Miku burst out laughing and almost went backwards, but managed to keep up her balance, Shidou smiled and scratched his cheek a little.

He had plenty of time not to hear her laugh like that, so he knew everything would be fine now.
