"Surprised you took a chance even coming in here like that," Angel told Lindsey as he finally made his way downstairs, snatching up a glazed goodie from the large box Lindsey had brought and began to get the coffee started.

"I had my eyes shielded just in case," Lindsey answered. "I've learned not to trust either one of you in this house. No one was answering the damn door."

Angel rolled his eyes. "You have a knack for timing, have I mentioned that before?"

"I don't even want to know what you're getting at with that statement. Let's just call it one of my many skills and leave it at that. Where is that beautiful bride of mine at anyway?"

"Beautiful bride of mine," Angel corrected. "And she's upstairs, rushing to get a shower in and then she will be heading out of here to get ready."

"Alright, well that'll give me just enough time I suppose to try and talk her out of this whole thing, to level up to a certain someone," he said, pointing a finger at himself. Angel rolled his eyes. "And to go over any last additions of things you two dumbass love birds might need."

Angel thought for a moment, taking a bite of the donut. "Already hired someone to keep stay near and to keep an eye out for you-know-who."

"Smart thinkin', though God forbid that women think today of all days would be a good time to pop the fuck up out of nowhere."

"Sadly, it wouldn't surprise me either which way," Angel grumbled. He'd wanted to try and be prepared just in case. God help him if Darla did show her face, though.

"Anything else change between yesterday and today that I should know about?"

Angel thought for a moment. "Buffy officially wants to tell everyone about the baby after the wedding, when we're all out at the restaurant," he told him. "Which... that is something I could use your help with." Lindsey started making a face. "Just in... after the wedding maybe you could make sure everyone gets to the restaurant okay and checked in and everything. Cover for us... for a little while..." he trailed off.

"Why? Where the hell are you going to be?"

"In a handful of hours she's going to be my wife again, my pregnant, very beautiful wife. You put the pieces together."

Lindsey's face wrinkled up. "I'm really starting to think that you and I are becoming too close these days," he mumbled. "Like you two can't keep your hands off of one another for a couple hours to get through a dinner?"

Angel shook his head. "No. Really can't." He wasn't sure he'd even be able to make it back to the house after all was said and done, but he planned to. He wanted their first time as husband and wife - again - to be back in their home, in their bed. And as soon as possible.

"Seriously. Too much information is being passed to me lately."

OoOoO

Buffy felt like a princess as she sat in the large chair getting her hair and make-up done. She snacked lightly and laughed with her best friends as they all got ready. In the corner the photographer sat staying out of the way though everyone kept trying to include her all the same.

Buffy kept thinking back to the last time she'd been here, how long ago it all felt as she sat here now. After everything that had been together, their time apart, all that she already knew the future held and all she hoped it would. Something felt more calming about today for her, like it was just one huge ass piece of her puzzle going into place.

"Did you have a boob job or something?" Cordelia asked, pulling Buffy out of her head as Cordy reached her hand out to cup both of Buffy's breasts for a moment.

Buffy laughed, lightly slapping her away. "No! I did not!"

"Something must be going on," she commented. "You're over there about to bust right out of that dress. Angel may be a puddle of drool upon seeing you. Lindsey, too. And Xander," she said rolling her eyes. "I'm going to hope for a no vote on Giles there though."

"Second that," Willow agreed.

Tara raised her hand. "Third."

Buffy looked at herself in the mirror. It wasn't as if Cordy was wrong, she hoped she didn't make any sudden movements in this thing. Everyone here might get much more of a look at her than they bargained for she thought. She smoothed her hands down the front of the dress and could have smiled at just the slightest hint of a bump starting to show if you were really looking.

She just hoped no one would pay too much attention.

Thankfully, her breasts were pretty damn distracting. She had a hard time her own self not to stare the longer she looked at the mirror. They also pulled the fabric of her dress away from her stomach so that helped conceal the bump as well.

OoOoO

"Why are you over there acting nervous?" Lindsey half whispered.

"What if she changed her mind?" he thought out loud.

"Well, it's a little late in the game for that, don't you think?"

"Women leave guys at the altar all the time. They make movies about this kind of thing."

"Buffy isn't Julia Roberts. And if she was leaving you it'd be for me... and I'm here so... nothing to worry about," he joked.

"That's so reassuring, Linds."

Lindsey shrugged. "Just keep it together for a few more minutes," he said. "Tara's already taking her seat, the preacher is almost ready. You will go stand up there, a few more people - including yours truly - will make it down that little walkway there and then Buffy will appear right there with Giles. All those worries will be right out of your head the second you see her.."

Angel nodded absentmindedly. He kept repeating Lindsey's words in his head as he watched it all play out. He let out deep breaths as Tara smiled at him shyly, then another as the rest of their guests started making their way toward him to take their spots.

He was pretty sure he was more nervous at this wedding than at their first. He felt it much more likely she would change her mind today than when they'd been here years ago. He was terrified this thought in the back of his mind that all of this was some sort of dream would show itself today, that as soon as he saw her that everything would suddenly go black for a moment then he'd wake up and none of it had ever happened.

"You're okay," Lindsey whispered again and Angel tried to nod.

He felt like he didn't breathe again though until he saw her, looping her arm with Giles'. Buffy smiled at him and he felt like he might have his legs give out from under him. He thought she'd never looked more beautiful as she stood there, Giles whispering something to her before they started walking toward him. As they began to make their way closer to him, what little breath he had regained vanished from his lungs once more.

Her dress was beautiful, perfect, the silk seamlessly glided over her, as though it were a second skin. Trying to remind himself to breathe, her full breast left little to his imagination. As she made her way up the steps to the landing of the gazebo, he noticed the slightest curve of her stomach beneath the smooth material.

"Damn. Ya sure you're going to make it till after the ceremony," he heard Lindsey whisper over his shoulder.

His knees wobbled, and for a second there, he wasn't sure that he would be able to hold his stance. It was as if this very moment was the culmination of his entire existence. Reaching out he took her delicate hand into his own. It was then that the world began to fade away, the guest, the priest, Lindsey, everyone around them seemed to disappear. Leaving just the two of them standing there lost in each others eyes, "I love you," he mouthed silently, forcing himself not to kiss her.

Instantly all of his fears, his anxieties, his worries about whether or not this was truly the right decision… melted away with her in his arms. For the first time he found himself grateful that she hadn't wanted a honeymoon, she was right. He couldn't wait to go home and start their life together, again.

OoOoO

She watched from the doorway of her dressing room as everyone in the wedding party began to take their place. Dut to the curve of the building, and the shrubbery no one could see her yet, but she could see Lindsey talking to Angel, his hand placed on his shoulder. The look on Angel's face caused her heart to squeeze. He looked so nervous, but thankfully seemed to relax a bit, cracking a smile at something Lindsey said.

She watched the final people take their seats, before Willow and Cordelia made their way down the aisle. They had foregone the traditional flower girl, and ring bearer simply due to the fact that neither of them were very close to anyone with children. She had given Lindsey her wedding band this morning, after threatening to castrate him if anything was to happen to it. From the look on his face, she wasn't sure if he could tell that she was joking or not.

When everyone had finally taken their place, she turned her attention to the man standing beside her. "Buffy, as someone who cares very deeply for you. I feel I must ask you, if you are absolutely positive this is what you want."

Had anyone else questioned her in that manner moments before walking her down the aisle, she would have went postal. However, this was Giles and she knew that he was truly coming from a place of love. Delicately wiping away a stray tear, as she really didn't want to ruin her makeup, she linked her arm through his own before leaning up to kiss his cheek.

"It's always been him Giles, it's always going to be him. I never got a choice in that, my heart decided for me a long time ago."

Patting her hand that was looped through his own arm, she knew it was his own way of giving her one final silent blessing.

"Well then, I suppose it's time," he spoke, as they took their first step toward the cobblestone pathway.

Once they came into view, she briefly noticed everyone rise from their seats turning to see their approach. Giles leaned down, quietly telling her how beautiful she looked just as her eyes found Angel's.

He had chosen a tux very similar to the one he had worn for their first wedding, except instead of white the suit was offset with touches of grey. Not for the first time she wondered how someone as gorgeous as he, could love a girl as simple as her.

She really was the luckiest woman alive.

When they reached the first of the steps leading up to the altar, she gripped Giles arm just a little tighter. Not wanting to fall in the stilettos she had chosen, especially since she was pregnant. That really wasn't the reveal she had envisioned for the day.

As if Angel could read her mind, he reached out taking her hand from Giles. She watched as Angel nodded his head in thanks to the man whom he knew meant so much to her. Taking her hand into his own, he carefully guided her up the three steps, silently telling her that he loved her once they finally stood facing one another.

OoOoO

They had went back and forth for weeks trying to decide if they should write new vows, recycle their old vows, or simply just recite the standard ones that the priest provided.

After many failed attempts to write something new, or revise their old ones, they each decided that it was futile. Just as they already had the perfect wedding, and honeymoon before, they had also written the perfect vows. Neither of them wanted to cheapen that memory by attempting to recreate it, so they just said the hell with it, and decided to go with whatever the minister provided.

Buffy could see the tears that Angel was desperately trying to hold back as the preacher spoke in front of them. Going against what she was instructed, she raised one of her hands to the side of his face. Her thumb softly wiping the moisture from the corner of his eye, unbeknownst to them their entire audience found this move adorable. A cumulative awww sounded from everyone around them, well except for Lindsey. She caught him rolling his eyes from the corner of hers.

The thick tension between them seemed to dissipate after that. They both relaxed as the preacher walked each of them through their simple vows, before jokingly asking if they had remembered the rings.

A look of panic crossed Lindsey's face as he began patting down all of the pockets in his suit. Angel began to glare not believing the moron had lost her ring. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, Lindsey held out his hand. A shit eating grin crossing his features as he revealed her ring resting safely inside his palm.

Plucking it from his hand, Angel wasted no time sliding it back onto the finger in which it belonged. Willow, not being one for theatrics simply handed Buffy Angel's newly polished wedding band. With shaky fingers she picked it up from the redheads hand, and gently slipped it back onto his ring finger.

Neither of them could have told you what was said next, as they were both so lost in each other, and what the significance of this moment meant. Buffy only had to lean up slightly due to the stilettos she had worn, but the next thing she knew her nose was nuzzling his.

The minister seeing that the couple were in a hurry for the ceremony to end quickly, asked the crowd, for anyone who held an objection to this union to please come forth now.

Lindsey held his breath, silently praying that preacher man hadn't just set the ultimate jinx. Keeping his eyes peeled, he made sure not to release the air he held until he heard the words…

"You may now kiss your bride."

OoOoO

"Alright, alright now you two, this is a family show here," Lindsey muttered, smacking Angel quickly. "Don't make us find a hose. Or burn our eyes out."

Angel wasn't sure what all happened next, everything seemed to be spinning around him and all he could focus on was the fact Buffy was his wife again. And never in his life had he wanted to be alone with this woman more than he did right now.

Of course, that wasn't coming easily. He thought he was going to lose his mind more than once as they had signed this, had to go shake hands with this person, thank this other person for helping out, then it was off to do the photos... He felt like he was going to come apart at the seams the more time seemed to drag on. It was cruel and unusual punishment to be this close to her, touching her, kissing her... and none in the way he really wanted to right now, and with their closest friends and family around watching their every move.

He had never loved or been more thankful for Lindsey than in the moment he asked if they were needed for any more of the shots. Linds made a face of pure thanks toward the heavens. "Good, because I feel like we're all about to have a whole new direction of photos here in a minute," he mumbled. "Alright!" he said louder, he clapped as well getting everyone's attention. "We're all going to finish up here and then I will lead the way to the reception. Bride and Groom will, uh, they will meet us there..."

"Where are you going?" Giles asked, looking genuinely curious.

Lindsey put his hand on Giles' shoulder, turning him away from the couple and shooing them away with his other hand behind Giles' back. "There's a few things they forgot... and need to go, uh, grab... such... things..." He really hoped he wasn't going to have to wind up spelling things out for all the guests if these two took too long.
