"Guys! Get down here!" Ryuoji shouted from the common area as the news reporter calmly talked in the background.

"Just moments ago, top heroes Endeavour and Hawks were attacked by an unknown Quirked individual in the downtown Kyushu district. The battle has already become incredibly fierce. Anyone still in the area is recommended to evacuate as quickly as possible."

"Wait…" Daidoji turned to Okami upon entering the room, "Isn't Saturn Six down in Kyushu?"

He nodded, "I'm sure Endo's already in some bunker or on a chopper out of there."

Daidoji shook her head and hastily yanked out her phone, "Shizuku visits Endo on saturdays."

Okami paled as he gazed back at the TV, witnessing an entire building be sheared in half, "She'd better get out of there."

"We're sorry, but the number you are trying to reach is unavailable."

"Dammit!" Endo slammed down his smartphone and tore his office phone from the receiver, dialing a special number as quickly as possible.

"Hey boss! What's-"

The employee was cut off, "Get Project Gaia battle ready! I'm coming down now!"

"But-"

Endo didn't wait for confirmation and simply wheeled himself over to his private elevator. It opened instantly and once inside, he inserted a key and pressed B4. It was the lowest level on the building, also the most secretive.

The elevator immediately began its descent, thankfully depositing Endo at his destination with less than a minute. But even that minute felt like an eternity.

The young CEO was greeted by a skinny man in a white lab coat upon reaching the bottom floor, "Boss, as I was trying to tell you, we've only got one sample! It's not even been tested yet! It could kill you!"

"I need it and I need it now. I don't care about the risks." Endo hurriedly pushed himself through the pristine white lab.

"You're entirely safe down here, we can let the pros deal with it!"

This only earned him an angry glare, "It's saturday."

The scientist deflated like a balloon, "Oh…" Without another word, he rushed over to his colleagues, who were buzzing around a silver, refrigerator sized box. Despite their reservations, they had no intention of disobeying orders.

One of the calmer workers tapped on a computer nearby, "It just needs your prints sir."

Endo nodded and pressed his hand up against the cool exterior. There was no hand reader visible, but somehow, it still reacted to his touch and instantly opened up, revealing a pristine, dark, full body tactical armor. "I'll need your help getting into this," He said, already removing his shirt and pants, leaving him clothed in nothing but boxers.

The scientist who had greeted him earlier nodded and pressed a button on the suit, causing it to crack open its shell.

Endo extended his arms to either side, allowing his men to easily lift him into the open space of the suit. The legs were left mostly empty, but the rigidity of the unactivated fiber allowed him to remain upright until the workers could lower him back into his chair and activate the suit, letting the fabric loosen.

"Sample one has been loaded in. As a final warning, I should remind you that it hasn't been tested in the slightest." He received a nod, but could tell that Endo had no reservations about taking those risks.

"I trust you guys enough to do this." Endo lifted a hand to the center of his chest, where a small dial rested. He gripped its edges and twisted it clockwise until it made a small clicking noise. Then, without hesitation, he pressed it inwards.

Shizuku was too disoriented to even move. Dust obscured everything in her view. She had only gotten a glimpse of the fight above her before the building had collapsed, sending debris everywhere. Shizuku had been far enough away to avoid the bigger pieces, but a small baseball sized rock glanced off her temple.

"A-Aren't th-there any… st-stronger h-heroes?" A scratchy voice asked the empty air.

Shizuku groaned at the voice and did her best to stand, but her legs were just too wobbly and her mind was too foggy.

"M-Maybe… y-you?"

With one swipe, the dust surrounding the area was cleared, giving the voice its horrific form.

"No… mu?" Shizuku weakly cried out.

Its pure black skin was even darker than the one that had attacked the class on Chimera Island. Its neck was elongated, ending in a grotesque face that was almost completely flat. Standing over an injured Endeavour, it gazed at Shizuku with a lust for battle, but the hero in training couldn't respond in kind.

Desperately, she tried to manifest Karkinos as the Nomu pulled back its claw like hands, but she could only get her hands to cover themselves with the dark and rough skin.

"K-Kill y-you!" The Nomu swiped its hand down with such speed that Shizuku didn't even have time to say a silent goodbye to Endo.

But that goodbye wasn't necessary. With enough force to flatten a building, a fist slammed into the side of the Nomu's head.

"Who said… you could touch my fiance?!"

Shizuku lifted her head in shock, completely surprised to see a dark figure standing right where the Nomu had just been.

His body was no longer that of a mere human. His arms now had large black growths on them. Upon closer inspection, the growth appeared to be a shell of sorts and that shell extended to cover his body, but not his head. Instead, a pair of antennae was sprouting from just above his forehead. "Sized up to human scale, a cockroach is predicted to have unfathomable strength and speed. So strong that it could break through concrete with ease. But there's one more feat that makes the cockroach such a formidable creature." Endo glared as the Nomu got back to its feet, "It can regenerate from even the gravest of injuries." The clone took a step forwards on his brand new legs and gave Shizuku a blinding smile.

"You're… standing… "

Endo carefully looked over his lover, completely ignoring the monster to his left. "Good, nothing too bad."

"D-D-Don't IGNORE ME!" The Nomu shot towards Endo with blinding speed, his fist launching straight for his head. But the sucker punch was entirely predicted.

Endo's right leg slid back, bracing himself as he lifted his left forearm to cover his face. The enormous growth on his hand acted as a shield against the brutal blow. In fact, it was so effective, Endo barely felt it. He peeked his head over his forearm and scowled at the Nomu, "You hurt Shizuku, you better be ready for those consequences." His left arm swept to the side, knocking aside the dark monster's arm with it, leaving his oddly shaped head completely exposed. Then, it was Endo's turn to attack.

Faster than even Shizuku could see, his right fist blurred forwards, driving itself into the Nomu in the form of a devastating uppercut. The impact sent the genetic freak flying into the sky. Even then, Endo didn't let up.

The back of Project Gaia split open, revealing a pair of insectoid wings, which flung Endo into the sky like a bullet, tracing after the Nomu. Blow after blow rained down on the black creature, creating mini craters in its skin. But still, the Nomu regenerated faster than Endo could damage it.

Five seconds, that was how long the fight had gone on before Endo felt the unstable genetics inside of him rebel. "I knew this thing was incomplete, but I didn't expect it to give in this quickly."

Endo gave the Nomu one last punch, sending it back enough for him to reach up to the device on his chest. It was not, however, enough time for him to activate said device.

The jets on the back of the Nomu lit up with a dark energy as he rocketed into Endo and buried him into a building.

Growling through his teeth, Endo held onto the transformation through sheer willpower.

"W-w-weak l-little bug."

Endo's back shook with vibrations through his hard shell, each one like a punch to the gut as he was pushed through wall after wall of concrete. "I'll… show you…" Each of his hands grabbed a wrist of the Nomu and squeezed with all his might, "WEAK!" The two bones shattered like glass as Endo headbutted the monster and kicked him backwards, "Project Gaia, voice activation! Administer full vial! Override precautions!"

By the time the high-end Nomu recovered, it was staring down the face of a monster, a human that was no longer human.

Endo's eyes were a pure glossy black and his hands were hooked into sharp talons. Had he been facing any normal person, they would've been frozen by the demon-like smile plastered on his face, "Time to die." Endo dove forwards, his claws digging into the Nomu's flesh and tearing out chunks of it. Even the Nomu couldn't regenerate fast enough to outpace the damage. It was a complete bloodbath.

Shizuku still rested where she had fallen, her mind and body shocked still by today's events. She was so out of it that she barely noticed the heavy clunk of footsteps approaching her.

Hina, clad in her H.E.L.L. armor, crouched next to the girl and easily scooped her up into her arms, "Let's get you out of here."

"Help… Endo."

Hina shook her head, "No can do, I'd just get in his way at this point. Besides, only one person here can truly stop this thing."

MHA: 1-C

Giving himself the entire vial of the serum was an even riskier move than fighting the Nomu itself. It was entirely possible his body would get stuck in this form permanently. Unfortunately, he had been given no other choices.

With each tear of flesh, he felt his body grow stronger and stronger as the chemical spread through his body. But even still, it was just raw power versus raw power, neither could eliminate the other. The only difference was Endo's had a time limit.

Endo drove his fist into the monster's chest as these thoughts and more coursed through his sped up brain. The Nomu crashed through the building walls and was sent spinning into the sky.

It took a few seconds to right itself since Endo had torn off the boosters on its back only moments ago.

Endo's wings opened up once more, but just before he could take off, an intense pounding pain filled his body. Looking down at his hands, he saw the black start to shrink away as the drug wore off. It stemmed his fear of being stuck like that forever, but he would also be defenseless. "No…" He growled, the black stopping and then beginning to grow again, the pain getting even worse as he collapsed to his knees, trying to hold the power.

A burning hand rested on his shoulder, "It's fine." Endo looked up to see Endeavor, his head hanging limply, "You did good to hold it for me." Then, "HAWKS! GET ME HIGHER!"

The number two hero directed his feathers onto the pro's back, lining them like fiery wings. He then shot into the sky, Endo watching weakly from the twentieth floor of the destroyed building.

It was likely that only Endo and Hawks could hear him as he began burning brightly against the sky, "You're just like me! Maybe from the past! Or an alternate future! But right now! And for all of eternity! BURN!"

A second sun appeared in the sky as Endeavor's Prominence Burn scorched the sky and eradicated the Nomu down to its last cells. Then, he fell.

Endo had lost his cockroach enhancement, but despite that, he was still a superhuman. Gathering the last of his strength, he leapt out of the building, colliding with Endeavor's body and slowing the descent just enough to let them crash to the ground with a cloud of dust.

It obscured the camera's view of the new number one hero, giving Endo just enough time to back up and let him be the only figure in view when he stood tall and pumped his right fist into the sky, declaring his victory as the dust cleared and the city cheered.

Hawks raced up to his teammate, letting his giant body rest against his smaller frame as he fell to the ground, the wounds leaking an intense amount of blood. That's when Endo reintroduced himself. "Lay down, this'll sting a lot." Despite the odd request, Endeavor followed instructions and Endo pulled a small dropper from his toolbelt.

The dark blue liquid squeezed out of the vial as Endo held it over Endeavor's wounds. It dropped into his gut wound, hissing as the blood immediately hardened into a scab. Admirably, Endeavor only slightly groaned in pain as Endo continued to administer the vial, completely stemming the bleeding.

"Hey there! That was quite the show you put on!" Endo looked up just in time to see a ring of blue fire encircle the three and a fourth guest. "I caught wind that you were here ya see."

"Dabi," Endeavor growled as he tried to sit up, but Endo pushed him back down.

"Your wounds are still too bad, let us handle this."

"But Hawks has no feathers left! And you used up your transformation."

Endo nodded and stood alongside the number two, "But we can still stall."

Dabi chuckled, "Why so nervous? I'm only here to collect the Nomu… although, judging by the ashes, that's an impossibility." He smiled wide, "I'd never be able to kill the top two heroes when they're on death's doorstep!" He rushed the three, his hands blazing with blue flames.

"Not so fast!" Two figures crashed into the ground, flanking Dabi, "I heard there was some trouble, so I hopped over as fast as possible!" Miruko grinned as her body rested on all fours.

"I can't allow you to simply kill my employer." Hina's hands were raised, ready to take down the villain.

"Hmm, this isn't fun anymore. Ujiko? A little help?"

Suddenly, a silver liquid erupted from Dabi's mouth, covering over his body as both Hina and Miruko rushed the man. They were too late and he disappeared with one last goodbye to Endeavor.

Shortly after the number one and number two were given medical attention, Miruko turned her attention to the completely uninjured Endo. He had certainly received some blows from the Nomu, but the cockroach DNA had closed all his wounds and fixed all his bones.

"You're the dropout from 1-C ain't ya?"

Endo nodded at Miruko's question.

"I thought you had no legs, and I thought your Quirk was an armor," She got up in his face, "And I thought you never received your Provisional License?"

"I am Quirkless," He answered simply, "Therefore, my actions were simply self-defense with my own strength and do not require a License."

Miruko's eyes narrowed for just a moment, but upon seeing the truth in his eyes, her gaze softened, "Good. I guess Endeavor owes you one." With that, she strolled away, leaving Endo and his assistant alone.

"Hina, I think… I need to… rest…" Endo collapsed on the spot, Hina doing her best to comfortably set him down.

"Of course, you did your best after all." The last thing Endo heard from Hina's mouth made him smile faintly, "Shizuku is safe, you saved her."

And there you have it! Endo is back! It should be noted that he will not return to Class 1-C with his powers, he got just a little too strong to still be in high school with them, but fear not, he will still make some appearances, like the very next chapter! Hope you enjoyed and thank you for the continued support!
