Quick little message. This plot point is in order to let 1-A and 1-B have their joint training without messing up the teams too much (Don't worry, we'll have our own joint training soon). For those who have seen My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, this story will be quite similar, but fret not, there will be no spoilers for the movie. Other than that, I hope you enjoy!

After the Nomu attack, Class C thought that things might calm down for a bit, but as it turned out, things only ramped up.

Ragdoll greeted her class with roll call as normal, but shortly after, Aizawa and Vlad walked in.

"Woah. All three hero course teachers."

"What's happening?"

"Do you think we're gonna get some training with the other classes?"

Aizawa immediately shut everyone down, "Unfortunately, 1-A and 1-B already have joint training planned and in order to keep everything tidy and efficient, you will not be joining them." The class almost instantly erupted into complaints, the feelings of inferiority creeping back in.

Aizawa's eyes lit up with anger, "I wasn't done talking." Everyone quieted as his hair drifted back down to his shoulders, "We obviously couldn't just leave 1-C high and dry, so you all have a special opportunity in front of you."

Vlad stepped forwards, "Solo hero work." The class perked back up. "Mera, Sera's twin brother, came to us a couple days ago to inform us of a few islands that were in need of heroes until they could find replacements. In time, we will send 1-A and 1-B shortly after, but for now, you guys get the first go at it."

"Of course, with your class's propensity for attracting terrorists, you'll need a supervisor of some kind. Someone who will only interfere when completely necessary."

"What?! Come on!"

"You can trust us!"

"Yeah, we don't need a babysitter."

Aizawa just sighed as the door slid open.

"I'm sure you guys won't mind this supervisor," A cheery voice said.

"Endo!"

The young CEO smiled wide and walked into the room, taking his old seat in front of Kenichi. It took a while before Aizawa finally got the class to calm down once again. After all, no one aside from Shizuku had seen Endo since the Nomu attack. The return of his legs had certainly caused quite a stir.

When Aizawa and the other two finally got the class's attention once again, "You will be stationed there for two weeks, so pack what you need and be at the ferry by seven AM on Friday."

Ragdoll threw in her own final thoughts, "Remember my kittens! Anything you do will be on you, so act as a hero should!"

"Why does this ferry have to be so slow?" Endo asked as Cala Island came into view, "I could've flown here in half the time."

"What's got your panties in a twist?" Aika asked, "It's not like you'll even be doing any hero work."

Endo nodded, "Yeah, but I can't exactly do my work in the middle of the ocean." He waved his phone back and forth, displaying the zero bars. "A CEO's got a lot of responsibilities."

"If you were that busy, why come?"

"They asked me to chaperone, and I couldn't exactly refuse considering Shizuku was going along." He gave her a loving smile, "Who knows the next time a Nomu will attack."

Switching subjects, Tannin asked, "How do you think Class A and B are doing?"

"Either really jealous that we got this before them, or too busy worrying about their training."

"Bakugo's probably losing his shit," Daidoji joked.

Upon reaching the island docks, the group was directed to the retired hero's office. It was a dull gray building, filled with basic workstations and old landlines. Endo immediately claimed one of these for himself and logged into his company's database.

At the same time, responsibilities were set up. Okami and Shinso, the class's president and vice-president were in charge of directing everyone. A few others sat down to take calls, while a good twelve were field agents.

Tannin, Aika, Ashira, Emica, and Ryouji offered to take calls since their Quirks weren't exactly the best for this type of hero work. According to the teachers, this island hadn't seen a villain attack in ten years. To be fair, that attack was a violent killing spree, so all of its evil made up for the lack of crime.

Getting dressed in their hero costumes, everyone was ready to go to work.

The calls were simple enough at first, a lifeguard on the beach, which was dedicated to Shizuku. Apparently, Karkinos loved the water and moved faster than any other creature in the ocean. Relaying information to any people without reception went to Hirose. Sen was on patrol duty. As one of the three in the class capable of flight, she was put in charge of scanning the island.

Some of the more interesting jobs went to Shinbou, who was in charge of settling disputes between people. Being able to pick out the lies in a person's story was critical in finding the victim and the perpetrator. Of course, none of these confrontations were over actual crimes, rather they regarded simple arguments between very stubborn people.

"I told you to watch that mangy mutt of yours!"

"And I told you that he chewed through his leash!"

The two farmers looked down at Shinbou, who was giving the second man a scolding glare. "That was a lie."

The second man blanched, "O-Okay! So maybe I let him run free, what's the big deal?"

"The big deal is he nearly took a chunk outta my arm!" The first man looked down at Shinbou, "Listen miss, I'm a working man, I need all my limbs in tip top shape."

"So did you want to press charges?" Shinbou asked hesitantly.

"Heavens no. We're not like the city folk, we don't sue at the drop of a hat." Shinbou ignored the remark, "But I just want him to keep that dog in check."

"Hmph. Fine, I'll keep him on a leash from now on."

That was the first, but certainly not the last argument she settled.

It was midday when the most intense call of the day came in. A small and desecrated old building by the docks had collapsed, trapping two trespassing kids inside. Nikiya, Ryouji, and Daidoji were immediately dispatched to deal with the rescue effort.

Hirose stood outside their hero office next to Tannin. The booster held his hands against the speedster's white and gold tactical armor. As her body began to glow with kinetic energy, her rarely used helmet pulled itself out of the suit and covered Hirose's head with a metallic clanking.

"Ok, it should last a minute or two."

Hirose nodded and looked at Nikiya and Daidoji. They were the heavy lifters, they needed to get to the site first, she would come back for Ryouji. "Better brace yourself, this probably won't be comfortable." And in a flash, the three were gone, racing down the roads.

Upon arriving, Nikiya immediately clutched her stomach and desperately fought off the churning nausea. Daidoji apparently had no trouble and raced right over to the giant pile of rubble.

A woman came to meet her. "They've been shouting out at us. I think they're safe for now."

Ryouji appeared next to Nikiya just seconds later, blinking his eyes rapidly and looking around in confusion, "Wh-What? Oh man that's weird." It seemed like the writer had a much less violent trip than Nikiya and experienced more of a confused trip.

Daidoji sighed at her companion's lack of urgency, thankful when Ryouji recovered and helped Nikiya's sickness pass.

Then, unexpectedly, Nayuki showed up, courtesy of Hirose. "I thought it might be smart if I covered them while you guys clear the rubble."

The three nodded and got to work as Nayuki turned silver and his slime-like form slipped between the rubble, eventually reaching the two boys. The elder of the pair, who was probably around sixteen, stared in awe as Nayuki covered his body in his organic armor, using him to shield his friend so that both would be safe.

Thanks to the combined effort of the four, with Ryouji making sure everyone stayed alert, the building was cleared and the boys were extracted within only fifteen minutes.

"Guess that Provisional License test was really worth it." Daidoji said as she accepted the gratitude of the surrounding people.

By the end of the day, most of the jobs had boiled down to menial tasks, but Class C completed them diligently. The only interesting ones had involved the collapsed building, a small argument Shinbou had been overseeing that devolved into a full on brawl, and Shizuku fighting a shark. Yes, that did happen.

Once everyone's shift was over, they removed their uniforms and collapsed onto the couches, exhausted by all the running around they had to do.

"Wow. If this is a normal day for a hero, we really have a long way to go before we can do this regularly."

"For real. I'm starving!" Daidoji and Shizuku complained, "What are we doing for dinner?"

Endo was similarly exhausted, only his was regarding his mental state. He leaned back in his chair and let out a heavy breath, "I could order us some sushi, or maybe pizza."

"That's not a very nutritional meal for a-"

A knock interrupted Okami's advice.

Sen groaned in response, "Ugh, no more hero work for today please."

Thankfully, her complaints weren't loud enough to reach the people behind the door. It was a fact the entire class appreciated as Kaito opened the sliding door, revealing a dozen or so islanders carrying plates of food.

"We just wanted to do something for all you young heroes after your hard work!"

After a dozen thank yous and a few "We're counting on you!" The men and women of the island dispersed back to their homes.

It only took thirty minutes for the class and Endo to completely devour the platters of delicious food.

Once that was taken care of and once everyone had showered, it was off to sleep, ready to repeat the same thing the next day. Endo offered to stay up and wait for any possible calls while Okami and Kaito patrolled.

As he sat scrolling through his phone, an hour after the class had passed out, Endo felt a pair of arms slide over his shoulders and wrap around his chest. He smiled, "Can't sleep?"

Shizuku rested her tired head on his right shoulder, letting her white hair spill over. With her eyes closed she nodded, "Bad dreams."

Endo chuckled, "I would sleep with you, but I think Dai would kick my ass if I tried to enter the girl's room."

"Mmm… ok." She slowly dragged her body over to the nearby couch and collapsed on top of it, her ruby red eyes staring at Endo as she got closer and closer to sleep.

"You left the dorms just after the Hero Billboards the other day, didn't you?" Kaito asked, "I didn't see you again till dinner. Where'd you go?" Okami's wolf tail materialized behind him, waving back and forth skittishly, causing Kaito to sigh, "I can keep a secret you know."

"It's not that," Okami started, "I just feel like… like if I say something, I'm gonna jinx it."

"Your parents?"

Okami nodded at Kaito, his armor almost completely blending in with the dark of the night, "I feel like things are so awkward between us… what would you do? How would you act?"

Kaito almost laughed out loud, "Oh trust me, you don't want that sort of advice from me."

Okami tilted his head, "Why?"

"There was one time where I met my parents. Just a simple agreement to go to lunch. My father… my real father… my adoptive one, arranged it and drove me there."

"What happened?"

"Absolutely nothing," Kaito answered, "We sat there across from each other for a good ten minutes. No one said a word for ten minutes." He smiled in spite of himself, "I finally said something along the lines of 'this was a mistake' and my parents agreed. All at once, everyone stood and left." Kaito rested a hand on his friend's shoulder, "My advice? Be yourself. If they don't like this you, then you don't need them in your life."

Okami nodded, seemingly satisfied by the answer, "Than-" He was cut off by a panicked shout. "Hey… that was from our headquarters!"

The two went rushing back in a hurry, adrenaline pumping through their veins.

"Then we are in agreement?" A man with a shock of blond in his black hair asked.

A woman in purple clothing nodded, her two associates flanking her, "I get my daughter and in exchange, we help you kill every last person on this island."

The man smiled wide, his face contorting to match his monstrous personality, "It's a deal."
