"Uranus what are you doing here?" Maker asked, her voice unsteady and harsh as she stared at the blonde in front of her.

"I came here to talk to you, Maker."

"We've already had this discussion, there's nothing more to discuss. Just please leave me alone and go home." The brunette said as she began to turn away, her hand reaching to close the door behind her.

"Maker wait! Just please hear me out. After this I promise I'll leave you alone if that's what you want."

The starlight paused as she slowly turned around, pulling her hand back to her side as she eyed Uranus up and down before letting out a sigh. "Fine, but after this you promise you'll respect my wishes?"

"I promise." Uranus replied softly, their eyes meeting as she gave her a half smile.

"Follow me." Maker said, closing the door behind her as she stepped outside, making her way around the castle as Uranus followed behind at a steady pace. She led her to the palace garden where all the flowers where still in bloom and sat down on a bench near the entrance, gesturing for her to sit next to her. "Whatever it is you need to say, here's your chance."

Uranus sighed quietly as she turned to look at her, her heart beating like crazy in her chest as she grabbed one of the starlight's hands, clasping it in her own. Maker seemed to flinch slightly at the sudden gesture but didn't pull away. "I talked to Usagi today. She wants me to put my own happiness first and she knows you don't want a long distance relationship with me. She told me to go ahead and come stay here on Kinmoku with you so we can be together. If you want that, that is."

Maker pulled her hand away, shaking her head buried in her hands. "Uranus I can't let you make that big of a sacrifice for me. You'd be giving up all your friends, your duty, the only home you've ever known just for me. I'm not worthy of that and you know I couldn't make that same sacrifice in return. You know if I was in your shoes I wouldn't leave Kakyuu for love. I can't let you give up everything just to be with me."

"I don't want you to give up everything for me! I wouldn't ask you to make the same sacrifice for me. Usagi is the one who gave me permission to leave and I wouldn't have even considered it if it weren't for her giving me her blessing. I don't need you to sacrifice anything for me. I can still go home if this doesn't work out and I can still go back in case of an emergency. I want to be with you."

Maker's eyes filled with tears as she turned her head away, Uranus's hand finding its way to her shoulder as she broke down in tears. "I don't understand why you would do so much just for me. I'm nobody special, I'm just some average girl who's sole purpose is to defend my princess. There's so many more girls on earth who are so much prettier then me and who have more personality then I do. I'm nobody worth giving up your whole life just to be with. I don't understand what you see in me." she choked out through tears as Uranus pulled her into her arms, her head finding its way to the blonde's shoulder as the tears continued to fall.

"How many times do I have to tell you I don't want anyone else? To me you're amazing the way you are and I don't want anyone else. I think you're beautiful and I love everything about you. I love your dry sense of humor and how much you care for others. I love your passion for books and poetry. I love how I can talk to you about anything and we can talk for hours without the conversation dying off. You're calm and level headed and so mature and you're such a strong and loyal senshi. You have so many good qualities that you overlook and you don't give yourself enough credit. If the only reason you don't want me here is because you think you're not good enough and I've already showed you why you are then what reason is there?"

"I guess because I'm scared. I haven't let someone get close to me in a long time. I guess I just want to protect myself." she said, pulling away as she looked up into Uranus's eyes. "But I trust you. If I let you stay here and give you a chance then I'm trusting you with my heart. Can I trust you with it?"

A huge smile grew upon Uranus's face as she cupped the brunette's cheeks in her hands. "I promise you I won't do anything to hurt you on purpose. You can trust me."

Maker smiled, happy tears shining in her eyes as she laughed. "Then I guess we can give this a chance and see where it goes."

Uranus responded by planting her lips on hers and this time when Maker kissed back she didn't pull away. Maker's hands found their way to Uranus's hair as the blonde's hands nestled on the younger girl's back and this time when she pulled away Maker was still there, she wasn't running away or scared, she was still there in her arms, smiling up at her and Uranus couldn't be happier.

"I'll have to check with Kakyuu and make sure she's ok with you living here of course but are you sure you're willing to leave crystal tokyo behind? After all you were destined to protect Usagi..."

"Maker stop worrying, ok? Usagi pulled the queen card on me and told me that as the future queen she commanded me to come and ask to come be with you. Believe me, I felt like a traitor for even considering leaving but at the end of the day I'm still one of her soldiers. It'll just take me a bit longer to get to her when she needs me."

Maker nodded as she stared out at the sky that was slowly becoming a crimson red in the distance. "As long as you think you're making the right decison then I won't stop you. I know you've only been here a couple times but I think you'll like it here."

"You'll have to show me around and show me the ropes." Uranus said jokingly as she elbowed the brunette in the ribs. "Hey, Taiki?"

The brunette looked up at the sound of her birth name and cocked an eyebrow at her. "Nani?"

"Ashiteru." Uranus said, wrapping an arm around her as she looked up at the sky.

Maker's cheeks flushed as she rested her head on her shoulder. "I love you too, welcome to Kinmoku."
