A bit of Graves in this chapter. I think it's a nice scene to be fair and Elsie gets to see him for the first time since he kidnapped her.

I hope everyone is coping and feels good emotionally and mentally. I know it can tire you out doing nothing and I've been going for long walks with my dog and my brother as our daily exercise, which is good as we're getting out of the house for a bit - don't worry, I'm keeping my distance from everyone.

Warning: scenes of sexual content within this chapter. The isolation has gotten to me and I thought I'd try a more intimate scene. It's probably rubbish but I want to start expressing more emotion between Elsie and Tommy when they have sex. I want it to be more than sex but am struggling to show that so I'm just dabbling in it to see how it goes. Please can someone tell me what they think of the scene?

Hopefully, you all enjoy this chapter. I promise there are some exciting things to happen and we'll learn more about Tommy's plan with Graves.

Thank you, Love Comet96 xx

"Kyle, do you know if Tommy's coming here tonight?" I asked as I tidied around the pub as we entered our quiet hour. There was always a nice hour before the men finished their shifts and rushed into the pub. Harry always checked throughout the day but me working back here gave him time to do stock and accounts in the back.

"He said he'd be here after the boys have collected the night's bets," he replied, taking a drag of his cigarette.

"Well that's perfect, that is." I spun around to face Graves as he came strutting into the pub. He had two men following him but I knew I had four of Tommy's men here with me. As Graves stepped closer, Gunner let out a low growl and came to me getting into a protective crouch. "Well look, the gypsy bitch has a mutt."

"What are you doing here?" I questioned, resting my hand on Gunner's head as he growled again at the man. Slowly, so I wasn't drawing attention to myself, I started moving back towards the bar.

"It's a pub, I'm here for a drink, so why don't you go back there and pour me a whiskey," Graves ordered, nodding his head towards the shelves full of whiskey and rum.

I shared a glance with Kyle and noticed that Percy slipped out using the side door. I knew he was going to get Tommy. Pulling the whiskey down from the shelf, I poured Graves a generous glass and set it on the bar for him.

"On the house for Tommy's business partner," I said, knowing he wouldn't pay for it anyway.

"I heard your horse won at Cheltenham." I nodded as he brought his drink to his lips. "I s'pose you paid Kimber to get the race fixed." Why did everyone assume I fixed the race? I didn't even know how to do that.

"As I told Mr Kimber, I don't fix races, I train horses to win." Not that he'd know about that. He'd never had a horse win a race. "Not that you'd know what a winning horse looks like." And I couldn't help but brag to him.

"Ya know, I guess you use some gypsy magic on the beasts to get 'em to win." He'd make up anything to make it look like our horses couldn't win by themselves. "See what I think happened right, is you paid off the jockeys to lose and let your horse win."

"I didn't fix the race and I've already dealt with this with Mr Kimber. I know you work for him, but I doubt he'd send you all the way to Small Heath for me," I said, leaning against the back of the bar so I could keep my eyes on him. Gunner was sat at my feet, his eyes also staying on Graves as he leaned against the bar. "Why are you here, Mr Graves?"

"Just looking at the area. Nice little building up for sale on this street, might look into opening a new business." I knew he wasn't lying about that. It had once been a cafe but had been closed since the end of the war. The old owner had left town once her husband and son returned from France. "Met a lovely woman, Mrs Miller. She had some things to say about you."

I wasn't liking where this was going. I glanced around the room and locked eyes with Kyle. I hope he knew that he couldn't hurt Graves. It was in the contract and I didn't want him breaking it.

"She's not the most reliable woman in this area," I muttered, wondering what she could have said to Graves.

"Heard the most fascinating thing. Apparently you didn't marry Shelby until January."

Shit. How was I supposed to deal with this? Where the fuck was Tommy?

"That woman would say anything. Did she also tell you that her son tried to rape me when I refused him, so he stabbed my cousin?" I asked, enjoying the way he clenched his jaw as I managed to outsmart him at his own game. He was trying to get to me, but I was the one getting to him.

"How's your nephew?" The smug look on his face told me he was waiting to pull that out of the bag.

"You don't get to speak about him," I hissed, moving closer to the bar and grabbing hold of his arm. "You threaten anyone in my family and I'll make sure you won't be able to walk again."

"You can't touch me, little girl. Your husband signed that away when he signed that contract." He laughed as if he was on top of the world and he'd managed to outwit me. I pulled my hand away from him and reached under the bar, grabbing the gun Kyle had given me earlier. "Yeah, that's what I thought," he said, thinking I'd removed my hand from him in shock. I snorted and raised the gun, gripping it tightly with both hands.

"I read the fucking contract. It said you shall not be harmed during the process of the agreement by Mr Thomas Shelby or Lord Alfred Cromwell or anyone within the Peaky Blinders; including John Shelby and Arthur Shelby." I smirked as he frowned in confusion. Is this what he looked like when he read the small print and still signed it? "Guess what? I ain't part of the Peaky Blinders, so if you want to live, Graves, you'll get the fuck out of this pub!" I waved the gun towards the doors hoping he wouldn't test me.

I was about ready to shoot this man even if it did fuck up Tommy's plans. Who did he think he was coming in here and trying to threaten me?

Graves gave a smirk before following through with my request and slowly left the pub. As the door swung behind him, I dropped Kyle's gun on the bar and rested my head on the cool surface. I wasn't even bothered that the surface was sticky, I was too stressed to care.

"You know, if Tommy gave you a gun you wouldn't need four Peaky Blinders following you around," Kyle said, and I heard the gun slid across the bar. He reached over and pushed my head to the side so I could look at him. "You did well."

"I just wish I never had to do that," I whispered standing upright and running my hands through my curls. I bit my lip and screwed up my nose. "I'm gonna have to buy that little cafe down the road now."

"Why?" Kyle asked, leaning his elbows on the bar as he glanced over to Daniel and Edward who had been tense when Graves was here.

"Do you really think I'm going to let Graves buy it and hold a place in Small Heath?" I asked him, tapping my fingers on the bartop. How was I going to explain this to Tommy?

"Fair point," he muttered, jumping up as the doors slammed open. He relaxed once he realised it was Tommy and John rushing through the door.

"Elsie," Tommy called, his eyes roaming around the bar probably looking for Graves. "Where is he?"

"I got rid of him," I said, shrugging my shoulders as I got them each a glass of whiskey. "Pointed a gun at him and told him to fuck off."

Tommy turned to face Kyle as if he didn't believe me and when Kyle nodded, he slowly moved closer to the bar.

"Where did you get a gun?"

"Kyle leant me his this morning when we first came in." I bit my lip again and glanced over to John. "I had a bad feeling."

"I don't think we should arm her," Kyle suddenly said, breaking the look I was sharing with Tommy. "I was sure she was going to shoot Ada's friend when she called her a whore."

"What? Who called you a whore?" John asked, stealing the words from Tommy's lips.

"Her friend, Helen. No," I said, reaching over the bar and grabbing hold of Tommy's sleeve as he went to leave. "You have your business and I have mine. This is women's business and I'll deal with it." I let go of him and smiled brightly as John looked at me mischievously. "I've got to deal with a few people after work."

"Who else?" Tommy asked, slipping a cigarette from his pocket and lighting it. I nudged his whiskey closer to him and settled the bottle on the bar in front of him.

"Mrs Miller's been going around talking. Did you know she spoke to Graves? There are a few things I need to say to her."

"Aye, you go speak with her or I will," Tommy said, picking up his whiskey and downing it. "Come along, John. We've got work to do." Tommy led the way out and John quickly downed his drink and rushed after him.

I thought it was the sun that woke me but as I turned my face into the sun I smiled as I felt Tommy's lips pressing to the insides of my thighs. I reached down to run my fingers through his hair and was surprised that my fingers brushed his head.

I opened my eyes and looked down at him, a large smirk on his face as he peered up at from between my legs. He'd thrown our covers to the side leaving my bare body exposed to the room. A risky move on his part considering Finn had been barging in during the early hours.

I went to tell him that only to let out a squeal as his lips pressed between my legs and he gave a sharp tug at my little nub. His tongue gave a soft sweep across my lips and dove into my entrance, swirling around and his fingers gripped my hips and pulled me closer to his mouth.

I flung my head back as he added more pressure and his tongue dove deeper. My stomach was tightening as his fingers gripped harder onto my hips and slowly slid them down to my knees. His fingers brushed under the soft skin of my knees and picked them up, framing his body as he pressed closer to me. I was sure I was making all sorts of sounds and as I felt Tommy smirk, I knew he liked them.

"Tommy!" I cried, jolting forward as he replaced his tongue with two of his fingers. I opened my eyes to look at him and saw this devilish glint as he leaned forward and captured my lips with his. I could taste myself on him and I would be disgusted if it didn't turn me on. "Oh!" I felt myself tighten around his fingers and pulled away as a whine left my lips as my stomach clenched.

I was embarrassed that I'd come undone so quickly but with the way Tommy was looking at me, I lost my breath.

His lips pressed against my neck as he shifted over me, his chest brushing against my sensitive nipples. I wrapped my arms around his neck and moved beneath him, inhaling with a shudder as I felt his hardened member sweep across my wet folds.

I didn't know I was biting my lip until his thumb pulled it from between my teeth. His forehead rested against mine, his lips leaving caresses on mine as he pulled me closer. I let my tongue trail over the edge of his ear followed by my teeth.

Tommy moved back, one hand resting between my beats as he settled between my legs. I could feel him throbbing between my legs and if I moved my hips towards him, he'd be sliding into me. As if he could read my thoughts, Tommy pressed down on my chest as his other hand gripped onto my right leg and hitched it over his hip. I didn't need him to tell me to move my other leg as I already had it wrapped around him crossing my ankles.

I stared at him, my lips open and my chest heaving, waiting for him to move. I was aching yet he was sitting there gazing down at me. I was inching my hips towards him when his hand slid down from my chest and rested on my hip, putting pressure down to stop me from moving.

I huffed in annoyance and brought my hands to his shoulders. If he wasn't going to give me what I wanted, then I was going to take it. I felt a slight twitch under my hands and within a second, both his hands were gripping my hips and he was pushing himself into me with one quick thrust.

I squealed as he yanked me forward, my head almost smacking into his nose. In a move I wasn't expecting and I had no idea how he managed to do it while he was still in me, he had me in his lap. The new angle was different and was hitting just the spot inside me that made my toes want to curl.

"Jesus," I whispered, feeling my head tilt back as he buried his face between my breasts. I was struggling to breathe and move my hips at the same time.

Tommy's muscles were quivering under my hands and I slipped my hands from his shoulders down his back. He was tight and as he drove his hips into me, his whole back clenched and moved. I didn't know how this angle wasn't hurting him.

His breathing was ragged and I could hear his grunts against my ear as he moved deeper in me. I could feel the tightening of his stomach against mine and pulled him with me as I moved back against the pillows. My head bumped against the headboard but I didn't think about it as I pushed my heels into the backs of his thighs trying to get him to go deeper.

The noises we were making were mixing together and I wasn't sure who was making what noise anymore. I was panting, he was groaning, and we were both sweaty. I ran my hands up his back to the base of his neck, letting my fingers brush over his short hairs.

His nose nudged mine as his teeth found my lips and tugged the bottom one between his lips, sucking it into his mouth. His pace was picking up and I could feel my stomach tightening and I was ready to burst.

"Eek." I had no idea what that noise was but it slipped from my lips as Tommy snapped his hips to mine roughly and I tensed around him. My mouth was hanging open as air escaped and my toes were twitching as I trembled beneath him.

I was done for and as each wave made me twitch around him, Tommy pressed his face to my neck and groaned as he spilled inside me. His hips were jutting towards me with no rhythm. His hands were flexing over my hips as he tried to catch his breath and I could feel his heart beating erratically against my breast.

We were both spent as I clung to him, breathless. I was trying to slow my breathing down but it was in tune with my heart. Turning my head towards his, I pressed a kiss to his cheek and closed my eyes, breathing him in.

I was content as he lay on top of me, almost crushing me under his weight. I was smiling and I could feel his dry lips against my neck as he tried to gain control of his breathing.

"Are you falling asleep?" His voice was gruff against my neck and I could hear how tired he sounded. I smiled and shook my head.

"Hmm," I mumbled as his fingers ran over my cheeks. He turned my head to face him, his thumb pulling my bottom lip down and I let my eyes flutter open.

"Haven't you got a cafe to sort out?" he asked, lifting his head to look down at me. I gave him a content smile and closed my eyes.

"Let me sleep for five minutes," I begged, letting my arms rest against his shoulders as he moved to press his face back against my neck.

Tommy snorted as I felt his hand run down my chin, down my neck and between my breasts. His long fingers trail down my stomach and he hovered, his breath blowing my hair as his face pressed deeper into my neck. I smile in bliss and reach up to run my hands through his hair only to hiss out as his fingers pull at the curls between my legs.

"Oi," he grumbles, reaching up and grabbing my hand as I go to smack him again.

"Don't be a git," I tell him, reaching down and removing his hand from between my legs. I was still too sensitive down there and I didn't trust Tommy not to push it. He was trying to wind me up. I tried to stifle a yawn as he moved, shifting his hips and pulling out of me.

"Get up," he said, smacking my leg as he got off the bed and pulled on his drawers. He moved to the bedside table and picked up a cigarette before settling back into bed next to me. "Here." He threw the covers over me and pulled me into his side.

"You seem happy," I said, running my fingers over the tattoo on his chest. His heart was still beating wildly in his chest and while he was sweaty and sticky I wanted to be closer to him.

"I just had a good fuck with my wife, course I'm happy," he grumbled around his cigarette. I smacked his chest and I let out a giggle. He could be crude but I loved that about him.

"I thought you said we had to get up," I mumbled, leaning on his chest and glancing up at him. I let my fingers trail their way up his chest and over his neck. I traced my nails under his chin and over his cheek.

"You're biting your lip." I released my lip from my teeth not realising what I was doing. Did he know how beautiful he was? I swung my leg over him until I was resting on his hips and leaned down to press a kiss to his head. As he reached out to grab me, I slipped off him and off the bed. "Tease," he said, leaning over and tapping his cigarette on the ashtray.

I laughed and spun to my dresser, freezing as I took in the black dog curled up on the floor. I froze as Gunner's eyes locked with mine and I felt like the dog was judging me.

"Oh my God," I whined, taking a step back in mortification. I turned to Tommy, eyes wide and my nose scrunched up. "I just let you fuck me with the dog in the room."

I hadn't seen Tommy laugh so much.

It threw me off because I wasn't expecting it. I knew he smiled and showed his happiness around me, but I had never seen him full-on belly laugh. Even his cheeks had turned red and his eyes had brightened from his laughter. It was a good look on him.

"Get dressed before Finn comes in," he said, climbing from the bed and going to his dresser, pulling out a grey suit. I think grey was his favourite colour.

"What are your plans today?" I asked, moving back to the dresser giving Gunner a small frown as he turned his head away from me. He was definitely judging me.

"Got a shipment coming in at the docks." I didn't know if I was surprised more that he told me about his plans or his laughter. "Then I've got to find some reliable men to stay guard over your new cafe."

"I'm sorry," I said, turning to face him. I didn't mean to cause more trouble for him.

"Are you sure you want to open a cafe?"

"It's better than Graves buying the building and I think it will be good for the community." He knew why I wanted to open the cafe. I told him on Monday night when I returned from the Garrison. I'd even phoned Papa and asked him to rush things so we could have the building before Graves decided to buy it.

"You gonna spend your days between the cafe and the Garrison?" I knew he wouldn't say it, but he was worried I wouldn't have any time for him.

"I'll spend most of my time at the cafe as it opens, but I'm going to look for some help and then I can alternate days between the cafe and the pub." I had it all planned out. "I'm going to speak to Mary at the bakery and see if she is willing to work in partnership."

"How's it going to work? Not a lot of people have a lot of money around here." I knew that. Did he think I didn't know how everyone was struggling after the war?

"I'm not going to overcharge. Prices will be reasonable. I just think it'll be nice for the women and children to have somewhere to go. You men get the pub; we should have somewhere to." He snorted at that and I had the mind to hit him. "Would you rather I'd sit in the pub during the lunch hour with Ada? We both know how rowdy it can get. What about on a race day or during a match?"

"Alrigh', alright, calm down. You can open your cafe, I was just making sure you wanted to do it." He stood there for a minute, a look of contemplation on his face. He was giving something a lot of thought and nodded his head as if he came to an answer. "You should get Ada to help you. Get her off the streets." And out of Freddie's bed.

Not that Tommy knew about Ada and Freddie. I knew he wasn't stupid though. He knew she was sneaking around seeing someone. I'd have to warn her.

Thank you for reading xx

Could someone, anyone, tell me what they thought of the sex scene? Any improvement needed? Would you like more details? Was it too much?

I'm new at writing scenes like this.
