It wasn't long before Uranus had to leave Kinmoku once more and head back to earth but this time when she left it was with a parting peck on the cheek and a short but sweet hug from Maker. Uranus left with butterflies in her stomach and a goofy grin on her face that wouldn't seem to go away. She kept asking herself if she'd made the right decision to abandon her destiny but deep down she knew it was what she wanted.
She stepped foot into her house and noticed the tv was still blaring in the living room. She smiled as she walked closer to the living room where Minako and Makoto were sound asleep on the couch. She was going to miss her friends she truly was, they might not have always had the most two sided friendship but she cared about them a lot and it would be weird not seeing them all the time.
She gently shook Makoto's shoulder as the brunette stirred awake, her eyes heavy with sleep as she looked up at the older woman. "Hey I'm home now, you and Minako can head home." Haruka said softly.
Makoto nodded as she elbowed Minako gently. "Hey wake up, time to go home." she muttered, stretching her arms above her head as she yawned.
Minako's head fell onto her shoulder as her eyes slowly fluttered open. "Hmmm?"
"It's time to go home, we're done here."
Minako nodded, shutting her eyes as she snuggled her head in closer to Makoto's shoulder. "Ok, just five more minutes." she murmured.
Haruka laughed as the brunette sighed in response. "It's alright, you two can head out whenever you're ready. Just lock the door behind you. Thank you for watching the twins for me."
Makoto smiled at her as Minako began snoring in her ear. "No problem Haruka, we're happy to help. Your little girls are angels."
"Thanks again. Good night you two." she replied before turning and walking upstairs to her bedroom.
She stepped into her bedroom and glanced over at her twin daughters who were sleeping peacefully in their cribs. She smiled at them before crawling into bed, closing her eyes as sleep washed over her in a matter of seconds.

Morning came quickly as Haruka was yet again woken up at the crack of dawn to feed her twin daughters but today it didn't bother her as much. She felt so happy and excited for the future, a feeling she hadn't felt since long before Michiru was diagnosed with cancer.
Once each of the twins were sound asleep once more she threw on some clothes and went downstairs to make breakfast for herself. She knew she'd have to call Usagi at some point and inform her about her decision but she wasn't ready just yet.
She started cooking some scrambled eggs and bacon for herself, humming to herself as she tried to process everything that had happened yesterday. It all felt surreal, like this was a fantasy and she was going to wake up at any minute. It all seemed too good to be true. After everything she'd been through things were finally looking up and she had a chance to live her life the way she wanted and a chance to be happy.
Once her breakfast was done she got out a plate and some cutlery and began putting food on her plate. She sat down at the kitchen table and began eating, watching the sun rise outside her window as she embraced the comforting silence in her home.
It would be weird leaving this place behind. She didn't know if she'd sell the house or rent it out or keep it empty and use it as a place to stay when she came and visited. She was going to miss seeing the sunrise as well as sunsets. Kinmoku didn't have a sun, rather they had billions and billions of stars that lit up the planet. Sure it was still a beautiful sight to see but she was going to miss the uniqueness of every sunset and every sunrise, how each one was so similar to the last but yet looked slightly different.
She got up from her chair and brought her dishes over to the sink as she heard a knock on her door in the distance.
She cautiously walked over to her front door and opened it, revealing Taiki standing there with a sheepish grin on her face.
"Good morning Haruka." she said softly as the blonde wrapped her in a hug.
"Good morning to you too. Come in." she replied, pulling away from the embrace as she led the brunette inside. "What are you doing here, don't you have guard duty?"
"Not until tonight. I have good news though." Taiki said, sitting down on the couch next to Haruka as she smiled. "I spoke to Kakyuu and she is willing to let you move to our planet as an extra guard. She's willing to set up a plan with Usagi where you'll live with us indefinitely unless you choose to move back to earth and your daughters will be raised on Kinmoku but when they turn 18 they'll move to earth to be Usagi's senshi. How does all that sound?"
"That sounds perfect. I still have to tell Usagi I've made up my mind." Haruka replied, grabbing Taiki's hand in her own as she ran her thumb gently across the top of her hand. "I still can't believe this is happening. Thank you for giving me a chance."
"I'm sorry I pushed you away for so long... I was scared of getting hurt and as a result I was a real jerk to you. I should be thanking you for giving me another chance."
"I forgive you Taiki, I wasn't perfect either. But I'm glad you eventually let me in." Haruka said sweetly as she planted a kiss on the brunette's cheek.
"You're too kind to me." Taiki muttered as her cheeks flushed red. "I should get going soon so I can be back on time for guard duty."
"You don't have guard duty until tonight right? Stay a little while, I want to spend a little more time with you before you leave."
Taiki glanced at the clock on her wall before letting out a small sigh. "Alright I'll stay for a while but not long, what do you want to do?"
"I was thinking we could watch a movie, do you have any preferences?" Haruka asked, getting up from her seat as she began rummaging through her collection of DVDs. "I was going to go for a romantic comedy, what do you think?"
"I would have gone for a documentary but it's your choice."
Haruka pulled out a DVD case, opening it as she pulled out the disc and put it in the DVD player. She sat down next to Taiki as she wrapped an arm around her. "I think you'll like this movie." she said quietly as she felt the brunette rest her head on her shoulder.
"If you like it I'm sure it will be good." Taiki replied, Haruka's grip around her waist tightening as the blonde planted a kiss on her forehead while the movie began playing in the background.
