It was impossible to tell how long they had been fighting. It was also hard to tell who was more injured. She couldn't feel most of her left side from where she was collapsed, legs splayed to her sides. Her left arm hung uselessly at her side from where it had been disconnected. Her side was missing a fairly sizeable chunk, though it wasn't bleeding since the Cero that caused it had singed it shut. Most of her wounds were of course from Grimmjow's blade, hundreds of little knicks along with a wide slash across her left hip, a gash in her left shoulder, there was a longer cut across her back, and a slice just under her right eye where she hadn't been able to dodge in time. She was also fairly certain she had a concision considering how her head throbbed and vision swam.

Across from her Grimmjow didn't look much better. Unlike herself he managed to stand standing, though he was hunched over his middle using his blade to stay upright. His hair was slicked back with blood, every once in a while a limb would twitch from a muscle spasm, his left hand looked to be complete shattered, and though he didn't have any wounds as deep as she did but was dripping nonstop from the thousands of tiny cuts Arashi had delivered.

Grimmjow took a stuttering step towards her and she growled, ignoring the black seeping in from the outside of her vision as she mustered her energy to bring herself to her feet. Arashi was in a tight knuckled grip, and with with a sharp crack of her wrist the whip struck out to lash at the Arrancar. Grimmjow grunted as he raised his sword to block her attack and the scraping sound of metal against metal shrieked in her ears.

Dark red light flooded her vision and Kana scoffed as Grimmjow charged a Cero. She had learned the last time though and with a tug of Arashi's handle he coiled in front of her like a shield, sparking brightly and sending the charged attack soaring around her. The shield dropped when the dust settled and all was silent for a second as she and Grimmjow stared at each other. Grimmjow's mouth opened as though to say something, but instead there was a weird gurgling grunt from the back of his throat. Another pause and then

"W-What kinda fucked up expression is that!?" Kana shouted, cackling loudly before wincing and clutching at her side as her wound tore and started seeping. Still, she laughed, and it was only seconds later after Grimmjow's own laughter was echoing hers. It only made her laugh harder, with how crackly and awkward his voice was. The laughter was cut off shortly when there was a strong breeze and then two contrasting sensations at once.

The first was this heavy pressure across the entire room and made her chest ache. Her knees buckled and her vision flickered. Arashi tugged at her reiatsu to stop her from losing consciousness, and she exhaled slowly as she saw Grimmjow collapse in her peripheral. His own reiatsu flickered before settling lowly, telling her had been knocked second feeling was soft fingertips brushing across her cheek, following down even as her knees cracked into the floor below.

"Are you satisfied?" Kana's eyes locked onto Aizen's and she scoffed. Her hand released Arashi's hilt and he faded away, freeing her hand to grasp at Aizen's wrist. Her nails drew blood and his bones creaked under the force of her grip but he didn't even blink.

"No." Arashi's own response echoed hers, though it was weird to hear his voice flow from her own tongue aside her own. Aizen seemed just as surprised by this as she was, if she read the curious look in his eyes right. Tugging harshly on the man's arm she used it to hoist herself from her knees, gritting her teeth when her vision swam again.

"No?"

"No. How could I be? Grimmjow is only the 6th of your Espada and look at what he's done to me." Kana's reiatsu started a slow and furious climb as she started ranting.

"He's only the 6th. I couldn't even achieve a thin win. How could I be satisfied!? If Grimmjow could do this much damage to me, how weak am I compared to the others!? How the FUCK am I supposed to cut you down when I can't even beat a fucking middle man!?" Kana lashed out with her hand, lightning sparking along her arm. Her fist connected with Aizen's chest with all the force she could muster. Frustration welled up inside her and she felt like a child as the man didn't even twitch.

"Why? Why!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY!?" Kana's fist rained blow after blow, and still he didn't move. With every punch his eyes grew more and more smug, and Kana grew more and more furious. With a shout Kana pulled deep within her core, the back of her uniform bursting as the air around her crackled brightly. Her eyes flashed the deep violet, and she could finally breath again.

"Why don't you fucking MOVE!?" This time her hand connected with an open palm and she had the full satisfaction of watching Aizen's eyes flicker and widen as he gasped lightly and took a small step back. He looked legitimately shocked and Kana's lips turned wide in a grin. Her finger's darted out to grasp Aizen's face, fingertips pressing into his cheekbones as she leaned in close.

"That's it! That's what I want! I want to see you move, I want to see you bleed, I want to see your face show true fear! I want to feel your spirit shudder! I want you to look at me and REVEAL IN MY POWER WITH YOUR FINAL BREATH!" Kana's voice echoed with laughter as she shouted, and Aizen looked surprised for only a second before his stupid smug little smirk was back. Kana was still giggling as she relished in her bit of power, a jolt running up her spine as Aizen's hands came to grasp at her hips. He pulled her close to his body like a lover would, and she tightened her grip on his chin. His reiatsu rose, and she found her knees going weak again. Aizen's face came close enough to hers she could feel his breath brush across her face, and he locked her eyes in his gaze.

"How disappointed your friend's will be." His voice rumbled through her chest and the mad grin fell from her face. There was a sinking feeling in her soul and she suddenly felt more tired than she'd ever been.

"Disappointed?" Why was she whispering? Where did her strength go?

"Very disappointed. They're trying their hardest to come rescue yourself and Inoue, and what will they see when they arrive?" Kana's eyes widened and she gasped lightly as one of Aizen's hands slid up to the middle of her back, pressing her chest to his. Her mind was spinning, her reiatsu quivering under his own, and she had a hard time focusing on anything other than the warmth of his body and the sound of his words.

"They'll see Inoue, dejected and alone, abandoned by the one friend she had. Then they'll see you," Aizen's eyes lit with passion and Kana found the air thicker, the pressure of his reiatsu more dense. It was pressing so close into her own that she could almost taste it.

"They'll see you stronger than they had ever imagined, standing not with your friend but close to the side of their enemy. They'll see you in love with me." Kana's grip went slack, all will to fight seeping from her bones.

"...wha...What the fuck do you mean 'in love with you'?" Her hand dropped from his face as she tried to recoil, but her own body didn't seem to get the memo. Aizen's hand left her hip to grasp her wrist and tug her arm above his shoulder, effectively trapping her. It would have looked like a scene from a shoujo manga if not for the blood smearing between them.

"I mean exactly what I've said. You may not understand it now, but it's obvious. Every fiber of your soul is trying to reach me." He was right. No matter how much she focused on her reiatsu, on trying to pull it away or tear itself from him, her spirit resisted, instead reaching for his own like a lover would. Her hand clenched into a fist as tears welled in the corners of her eyes, her reiatsu not listening to her own orders.

"Give in, Kana." She felt herself shudder and turn warm at the way he purred her name. He brought his face closer to hers and she found her body moving on its own, her spirit overwhelming what her mind was telling her. Her lips pressed to his and her reiatsu soared, swirling joyfully with his own. She lost all thought as the moment passed, only starting to come back to focus when his lips left hers. She opened eyes she hadn't realized she had closed, and as Aizen released her wrist she found herself grasping at his shoulder on her own.

"I can make you stronger, I can give you what you want. If you stand by my side, you will receive the fear and awe you deserve." Kana's mind flickered with doubt for a moment. It was obvious he was using her. He wanted her to fall in love with him, wanted her to be at his mercy.

Thing is, she could do the same. She could use this, use him, to achieve what she wanted, what she needed. And if she got some passionate touches and warm kisses well that was just a bonus. All she had to do was not get lost in him.

He seemed to be waiting for her answer. She was unsure of the words she needed, so instead she brought herself up to kiss him again, biting at his lip when she felt it start to twitch into that smug look and reveling in the chuckle rumbling in his chest.

"Aizen-sama. I have brought the woman." Kana separated herself from Aizen with a jolt, whipping her head around and finally pulling herself from Aizen's arms to look at the doorway. Her eyes barely took in Ulquiorra's deadpan expression before she was struck under the horrified expression on her friend's face.

"Thank you, Ulqiorra." Aizen's hand felt more like it was scorching her rather than the comfortable heat from before as his fingers ran across her hip. He walked past, pausing next to Orihime.

"Heal Kana as well as Grimmjow. Kana will escort you back to your rooms when you are done." Ulquiorra followed Aizen from the room and the door sliding shut seemed louder than anything as she was left to tell her best friend why she had just been seen kissing the man who had kidnapped her and planned to kill their friends.
