"Whatever you do, don't go to sleep," Endo yelled into the building. At the moment, only himself, Kaito, Okami, and Kenichi, who had been on the edge of sleep, were up.

Shortly after Shizuku passed into unconsciousness, Endo had noticed disgusting black veins creeping through her body.

This was hours ago and the phone lines weren't working.

Fearing that the others would be attacked, Okami had sprinted out to get a doctor while the other three stayed behind.

Not fifteen minutes after that, a man had come running up to their office, "VILLAIN VILLAIN!"

Kaito and Kenichi went to meet the man as Endo got dressed in Project Gaia.

"What happened?!" Kaito asked.

"Down… at the… beach… a ship appeared… and a bunch of…" The man paused to catch his breath as Endo walked outside, wearing two dark bracelets. "A bunch of villains jumped off and started attacking us."

"Project Gaia, activate." Like Shizuku's bracelets, Endo's expanded at a rapid pace, covering all but his head. Once fully dressed for the occasion, he addressed his two former classmates, "I'll handle the beach, you two guard these with your lives."

"But there could be dozens of them!" Kenichi exclaimed, "We should all go together."

"No! I'm enough on my own," Endo argued, "Right now, they need you more than the beach needs you." Without allowing for anymore words, he turned to the direction of the beach, "Fusion activation. Tiger beetle plus grasshopper."

Ever since his fight with High End, Endo had realized that the first serum, while powerful, was too unstable. He had only managed to hold the form for about two minutes and that was after dumping the entirety of the vial's contents into his body, a dangerous effort. Instead of attempting to work off this unstable concoction, he had lessened the strength, extending the transformation time, and allowing for the fusion of two DNA samples.

Tiger beetles were considered one of the fastest creatures on the planet, proportional to their size, add to that the leg strength of the grasshopper and Endo was racing along the road almost as fast as Hirose.

Kaito and Kenichi didn't notice, but as soon as Endo left, the man who had seconds ago been in such a panic, smiled with sadistic pleasure.

"You could've done more! You could've saved us!"

Daidoji stood on the dark red stained sands of Chimera Island, her friends standing around her, blood leaking from multiple gushing wounds. "No… no… I-"

A bony hand spun her around, revealing the bloodied and eviscerated corpse of Endo. "You're the reason I'm dead."

"What? No! Endo's still-"

"You're a disgrace to us Daidoji." The shadowy figures of her parents formed behind Endo, "You're not our daughter!"

"No… no… I've seen this before…" Daidoji scowled deeply and punched straight through Endo's skull, "I'm done feeling sorry for myself! You hear me!"

"Oho… I hear you all right. I just don't care."

Daidoji spun around to see an unbelievably beautiful woman in a wheelchair. Scowling, she marched at the woman, "Let me out of here!"

"Of course. All you need to do is beat him." The woman pointed behind Daidoji.

The spider girl went to spin around, only to receive a heavy blow from a metal fist. "J-Jason?"

The villain with the red visor stood in a menacing position, ready to kill her.

On Shiuku's end it was infinite torture. Time after time, she watched Endo or her father die an agonizing death. She had already started to lose part of her sanity.

Tannin was endlessly kidnapped and tormented by the fact that he was only used as a battery.

Hirose saw her mom spasming as she foamed at the mouth on repeat.

Shinbou was shown a reality where her Quirk had reached its peak potential and it showed her everyone in the world, herself included, as nothing more than a lie. The pain was unbearable.

And Wilhelm, Wilhelm was special. "I know you're there Aunt Alice. My accent never exists in your dreams after all."

"That is because, thought is a universal language." The woman in the wheelchair, Alice, smiled at Wilhelm lovingly, but the boy stared back with eyes full of disgust. He raised his hand, charged with electricity. He never got the chance to discharge it. A dark black hand slammed into his face, sending him flying through the grey nothingness.

Looking up Wilhelm made out the shape of the Nomu from Chimera Island. Scoffing, Wilhelm stood, completely unharmed, "You never could fool me with these weak illusions of yours. If this was like those novels you treasure so much, I would imagine this monster as unbeatable. Unfortunately for you, I beat this thing myself. Inside my own head, it's even weaker." He raised his hand nonchalantly and finally got off a shot of lighting… which arced harmlessly around the Nomu.

"Oh… is it now?"

"Don't kill him!" Kenichi shouted at Kaito as the man from earlier tried leaping on top of the swordsman.

"Tell him that!" Kaito yelled back, bashing the man over the head with the hilt of his sword.

But the man barely flinched, "Haha, poor little heroes, too weak to defeat even an islander?"

"You're no normal islander!" Kenichi pinned the man against the wall and began forming bone on just the front of his body. With his hands dug into the wall, the bone formed an unbreakable prison. "Bone Chrysalis." Kenichi released the armor from his body, leaving the possessed man locked against the wall.

The man only smiled, "Such a poor effort. It fits you weak heroes."

Kaito and Kenichi instinctively stepped back as the man's eyes began glowing bright blue. "This guy is from the island right?!"

Kenichi nodded, "His name is Garotta I think. Sen helped him find his lost kid the other day." Garotta began growing in size, neon blue flames surrounding his body. He groaned loudly as the bones cocooning him began squeezing against his body before burning to ash. "Careful, that's no normal fire. It's gotta be close to two thousand degrees celsius."

Garotta gave an inhuman roar and charged the two teens.

He was only a couple feet from the edge of the forest when Endo felt it. He passed through an almost imperceptible barrier that shimmered with glowing pink energy as soon as he was inside.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a dozen or so indistinguishable men appeared. Their muscles stretched their black suits to the maximum and their eyes were devoid of any emotion.

Endo tried to back up, but found that the barrier was now an impenetrable dome.

In the short time that his eyes were facing away from the men, two leapt at him, their fists cocked back in unison.

Thankfully, Endo's antennas weren't so easily fooled. Leaping straight up, he used the dome as a springboard and slammed down in the center of the dome.

Spreading his arms out to the side, he smirked, "I think you misunderstand. I'm not trapped in here with you, you're-"

"Yeah yeah," The dozen men replied in unison, "Save us the theatrics."

"Hmm, villains are no fun. Project Gaia, fusion activation, grasshopper plus bullet ant." Endo's thin spindly legs filled out as the tiger beetle DNA was replaced by the beefier insects.

Faster than the men could blink, Endo rocketed back up to the ceiling, taking aim at a random thug. Driving his enormous forearm forwards, his fist took the man's head clean off, causing him to evaporate into nothingness.

Nodding with satisfaction, Endo used his crouched state to shoot straight up, delivering a devastating uppercut to the man about to jump him.

Like the other duplicate, this one similarly dissipated. This time however, Endo noticed something interesting about the mist that had appeared following the clone's death. It didn't simply vanish, it headed in a specific direction, exiting through the barrier like it didn't exist.

Repeating the process three more times, Endo identified the direction of the man controlling the clones, making sure to note it as he continued dispatching the clones at a breakneck pace.

In fact, Endo was getting so used to the process that he barely noticed the barrier disappearing and launched back up only to fly off. Thankfully, his sped up brain allowed him to recognize it before he went too far.

The grasshopper DNA inside him wasn't enough to allow him to manifest wings, but the intense power of his legs was enough to create small amounts of wind pressure. This pressure allowed him to gradually slow down and eventually land on the beach.

Upon landing, he noticed that it was still quite crowded. The kids screamed in fear, while the parents looked on in confusion. Most of the islanders had met all of Class C, but Endo was only there as backup, so there was no need for anyone to know about him. The few that kept up with the news recognized him as the Saturn Six CEO, but even that slight familiarity wasn't enough to clear the confusion on his disformed body.

Endo immediately dispelled these thoughts and shouted out to the populace, "Villain attack! Evacuate behind me!"

For about half a second, no one moved. The news was still working its way into their brain's folds. But once that interval had passed, all hell broke loose.

"Hey hey. Now I recognize you," A bass-like voice said from just behind the crowd racing past Endo, "You fought that Nomu. You're Gokiburi(Cockroach)."

Endo winced, "That's a stupid name."

The man chuckled, "That's the news for you."

"If you saw that fight, then you know that you don't stand a chance." This was more or less a half-truth. Endo's versatility and strength was still pretty insane, but after working on the serum, he was no longer anywhere near the strength of the Nomu.

"Ah yeah, that's right. Then again," The crowd finally cleared in front of Endo, revealing the same cloned man, "I attacked a hero, so you're going to try and arrest me regardless. I might as well put up a fight." His muscles rippled even further than his clones, far enough to tear the fabric completely apart at the arms and shoulders.

It was a killer attack. Had Endo not been in possession of his extra sensory organs, his head would've been blown clean off.

Where Endo had stood just milliseconds earlier, the man's fist now was. In the nick of time, Endo had leaned right, narrowly dodging death.

Seeing the indomitable smile on the man's face, he kicked upwards with his superpowered legs, delivering a kick straight to his torso. It felt like kicking a wall of steel.

Instantly recognizing his disadvantage, Endo kicked off with his other leg, launching himself into the air and gaining some distance.

"What do you want?!" He asked as he fell back down to the Earth.

"What do I want? Specifically?" The man smiled and pounded his fists together, creating an almost visible shockwave, "Right now, I wanna squash you."

"A bug joke… how original," Endo muttered. "Project Gaia, fusion activation, bullet ant plus cockroach." At this point, the Gaia suit could barely contain Endo's form. This was his most powerful transformation and it was similarly imposing. But the man barely faltered.

"That's more like it."

"Alright fine!" Kaito threw aside any reservations as Kenichi crashed through a random house behind him, "No more holding back! Let's go Escanor!"

Apparently, mocking the man for his new size was not amusing to whoever was controlling him. The blue flames swirling around him flared up higher, forcing Kaito to actually put on his helmet to avoid being scorched.

"Black Burst: Dual Impact."

Kaito's hands were empty, but considering that he couldn't kill this innocent man, swords simply wouldn't do for this fight. Instead, the steel gauntlets covering his fists would have to do.

True to his super move's name, he shot forwards, his body a blur as he repeatedly delivered swift punches to the man's body.

Of course, the man didn't even flinch.

"WEAK!" With one, enormous hand, Garotta snatched him by the torso with ease, "I'M GONNA CRUSH YOU!"

"No… thanks…" Kaito clenched his whole body, manifesting a dozen daggers inside the closed fist, mangling the flesh of the man's fingers and palm.

Regardless of whether or not the person controlling the man felt the same pain he did, the man's hand opened in response to the attack. Even forced control over a body couldn't overcome the fact that his hand's muscles were torn apart and completely unusable.

Kaito dropped to the floor and used Black Burst to dash away from the man, the heat of his flames already stinging his armor.

"Dammit! We could really use the others right about now," Kenichi said as he weakly pulled himself from the house's rubble.

Daidoji spit out a blob of blood, something that really shouldn't have existed inside a dream.

She rose off her feet just in time to block a right hook from the fake Jason, only to receive a blow straight to the gut.

Daidoji fell to the sands, retching as Jason repeatedly kicked her with more strength than even the real counterpart. As her consciousness began fading, she wondered if this would literally kill her, the pain felt real.

Thankfully, she never got the chance to test the theory.

Above her, Jason's mechanical frame twitched and spasmed as a hand burrowed into its mechanical chest.

Daidoji's vision was so blurry, she could only hear Wilhelm's aunt scream in outrage, "How did you escape?!"

Shinbou responded with a scarily calm voice, "Easy, it's all a lie." She clenched her fist inside the villain and his body shattered like glass.

"That's… not possible."

Another dozen random villains surrounded the two, but Shinbou simply tilted her head, similarly destroying the dream enemies.

"Only those with high enough perceptions of reality can alter this space," Shinbou explained, "Which is why Dai struggled, even knowing it was all fake. I'm sure Vincent is doing the same as me right now."

The woman's eyes narrowed, then widened as the realization set in that, "No, no."

Sensing her cowardice, Shinbou leapt at the woman in the wheelchair, but just before she could reach her, she vanished in a puff of smoke.

Slowly, and painfully, Daidoji pushed herself to her feet, taking a hand from Shinbou when offered. "Thanks for the save."

"No problem. But we're not done just yet. You ready to meet the others?"

By the time Okami had gotten back to help Kaito and Kenichi, the possessed man had gotten so hot that no one could even go near him.

Kaito did his best to slow him with his daggers, but even those melted before reaching him.

With a methodical pace, the man approached the office, where sixteen students rested in an unconscious state. Each step melted the street beneath him into slag. Raising his hand, he aimed his palm at the building.

"NO!" Kaito rushed forwards, intent on a suicide attack, but before he could even make it close, the building exploded in a firey blue explosion.

Kenichi and Okami looked on in horror, "No…"

Seconds from bursting into tears, the three were saved by a black blur emerging from the smoke. It slammed into Garotta, pushing him back and causing him to tumble to the floor.

"Shizuku?"

Karkinos stood tall, clicking its tongue at the possessed man, his distaste clear.

"HAHA! You think a puny little flame like that would kill us?!" With a dramatic flourish, Ryouji slashed his pen across his book, parting the smoke around them and revealing the rest of Class C, all dressed and ready for battle.

Karkinos bowed low, "Well, if you will excuse me, I believe my host wishes to assist her fiance." With that the monster grew wings and shot off into the morning sky.

The possessed islander slowly recovered, pushing itself onto its elbows to see eighteen pissed hero students staring it down.

"You're in for it now asshole!" Daidoji said, pounding her fist into her palm.
