Barry Allen sped around at the speed of light, only to find...a true monster staring back at him. The man was obviously a speedster, seeing as the chest of his suit occupied a black emblem and a backwards golden lightning bolt, much like Thawne's. The suit however, was oddly disturbing to Barry. The suit itself was black, but it was open. The man's abs, chest, neck, mouth, nose, and eyes were revealed, all being a very dark shade of red. The speedster's arms had spikes all over, with his fingers resembling claws. The cowl was a simple black, with red lightning details stretching back to the golden earpieces.
"Who the hell are you?" Barry asked, producing a laugh from what looked like a very evil speedster. The man laughed, circling Barry as he did so. Then he stopped, facing Barry as the man produced a sickening grin. "You know who I am...Barry,"
"Thawne? Zoloman?" Barry asked, not seeing any resemblance, before it clicked. The young man in front of him had specific eyes. Joe West's eyes. "Wally?"
"No. Not my brother. Oops, gave it away," The man said with a grin. "The name's Danny. Or Daniel West. You don't know me, cause Thawne was a fucking moron, and ruined the timeline. Good thing you fucked up too, cause your little...trip...to Limbo freed a lot of us. So...merci beaucoup," Daniel said.
"Wait...Joe had three?" Barry asked.
"No. No. Joe didn't even exist in the original timeline. No. My asshole of a father, William West, emotionally and mentally abused Iris and I. Wally had moved away with Francine, leaving us with him," Daniel said. "I pushed him down the stairs, crippling him, and losing Iris' trust. I ran into a speed force battery, quite literally, and gained speed. So, after a while, I started using V-10 to strengthen my abilities, before running into good old Eobard Thawne, who taught me how to access the Negative Speed Force. I used it instead of the Speed Force, and donned the name Reverse-Flash, much to Thawne's hatred,"
"So, you're Iris and Wally's brother from the original timeline, who literally ran into a Speed Force Battery, gaining limited powers. You then used V-10 to increase your abilities, before gaining access to the Negative Speed Force. THEN, you stole Thawne's identity, ended up in Limbo, recently escaped, and came here," Barry summarized as Daniel nodded. "So...what do you want?"
"What else? To watch the world burn," Daniel said. "Humanities never done any good to anybody. We're a virus. We take, take, and take, and never give,"
"So...you're a pro-save Earth by killing humanity type. Hmm...so like Ramsey, just...less worse," Barry said.
"I am SO much worse than Ramsey Rosso!" Daniel shouted, speeding forward before pinning Barry to a wall. "And when I'm done killing you, I'll kill my brother. Iris. And then every single human being or alien on the planet,"
"Uh, one slight problem with that though," Barry said nonchalantly as he raised a finger. "This universe was recently connected to hundreds of others, making this universe futuristic, which is clear by the building, cars, and the giant spaceship in the sky," He pointed up to the Blitzkrieg. "Humans have colonized the Andromeda galaxy, so...I don't think destroying the humans on Earth will do much,"
"Then I go back in time, and kill everyone before they colonize," Daniel said.
"Actually. I can control the Timestream, as well as the Speed Force. I actually generate the Speed Force. So, I can just kick you out of the Timestream," Barry said before shoving Daniel away.
"Then I kill you, and then go back," Daniel charged forward, red lightning sizzling around the young man as they charged each other.
TEAM FLASH HEADQUARTERS
In the secret room located near Barry's office, sat the Team Flash headquarters, where Cisco, Caitlin, Harrison Wells, Tess Wells, Ralph Dibney, Ronnie Raymond, Jax Jackson, Martin Stein, Wally West, Joe West, Hartley Rathaway, Leonard Snart, and Ryan Choi. "Guys, you heard the man, we need to suit up," Cisco said as he pushed a button on the desk, watching as multiple red cases opened to reveal superhero suits.
Cisco moved to change into his Vibe suit, Caitlin into her Frost suit, Ralph into his Elongated Man suit, Wally into his Kid Flash suit, Hartley into his Pied Piper suit, and Snart into his Citizen Cold suit. Jax and Stein merged into Firestorm, before waiting for the others. Most surprising were the three other red boxes that slid open. One revealing a speedster suit, a red suit with a meteor emblem on the chest, and a makeshift Atom suit.
Ryan Choi stepped into the Atom suit, flying out of the window at the size of an ant. Ronnie approached the red suit, climbing into it, before levitating into the air, red energy bouncing around him as he shot through the window at high speeds. And finally, Harrison stepped up to the speedster suit, which was a blue suit, with the torso, forearms, and thighs being a light blue and the legs, arms, and neck being black. The entire suit was covered in red lining, which led to the chest into the yellow lightning bolt surrounded by a white circle. His blue cowl was also like Barry's, but his eyes were covered with white lenses, and the lightning bolt earpieces were much larger, and pointed up at a 45 degree angle. Harrison grinned, before running out of the window, and down the building, his blue lightning bouncing against the glass as he ran.
STAR CITY
Meanwhile in Star City, Team Arrow was rushing through their 'Arrow Cave', grabbing weapons, gear, etc. John was readying his weapons, as well as his Spartan helmet. Roy and Thea were getting into their Arsenal and Speedy suits, as well as preparing their quivers. Laurel and Sara were readying their sonic devices, as well as their staffs. Felicity sat at her desk, typing away fiercely. Ray Palmer stepped into his Atom suit, shrinking and enlarging.
Oliver stood in the corner, pulling over his hood before grabbing his bow. He looked over to see Team Bat doing the same. Bruce and Barbara were placing on their cowls, Selina was readying her whip, as well as utility belt. Dick was charging his electric batons, while Tim placed his staff behind his back.
"Team Arrow, Team Bat! You heard Barry," Oliver announced as he stepped next to Sara, his arm wrapping around her waist as he continued. "This is the fight of our livers. So...if you get hurt...walk it off...if you die...come back, and walk it off,"
'Great inspiration speech big bro," Thea said mockingly as Oliver rolled his eyes. "What my lovely brother is trying to say is...go out there. Fight to the best of your abilities...and most of all...let's kick some alien ass!"
METROPOLIS
Team Super stood in the middle of the Tower, a large building on the north side of the city that they had converted into their base of operations. Kal El and Kara Zor-El already stood in their Super costumes, waiting as the others prepared for the battle ahead. Lois Lane sat at the desk in the center, tapped into comms. J'onn J'onzz had morphed into his Martian form, ready for battle. Alex Danvers was silently counting bullets to herself. Winn Schott was fixing a large gun he was planning on using to defend the Tower, while James Olsen put on his Spartan costume.
"Ok. Clark and James will go to Smallville, and defend the town, while J'onn and I stay here and protect Metropolis," Kara said. "I hope to Rao that there'll be other heroes on the way," She and J'onn nodded, before flying away from the tower. James placed his helmet on, nodding to Clark before charging forward, jumping off of the balcony before being swiped by Superman, and carried out of the city.
GOTHAM
Terry McGinnis, Kai-Ro, Micron, Danica Williams, Billy Batson, Big Barda, and Aquagirl stood in a location underneath Wayne Manor, also known as the Bat Cave. Terry had gotten word over the channels of the invasion, and had ordered his team, who were scrambling to prepare, to get ready. Terry himself was pulling on his cowl, the red bat symbol on his chest being the only color, besides his eyes and mouth, on the suit.
Kai-Ro, or a future Green Lantern, was levitating above the ground in boredom, the same going for Danica Williams, who was in a feminine version of Barry Allen's current suit, only made of tri-polymer instead of nextel. Aqaugirl carried her trident proudly, while Big Barda slowly tapped her staff against the stone floor.
Micron had pulled on his stretchy suit, before shrinking down to the size of a baseball, climbing onto Kai-Ro before shrinking to the size of an ant. Billy Batson, grinned at the sight of the superheroes. This would be his first large scale fight, and he could say it was very nerve-racking. He pulled in as much courage as possible, before yelling "SHAZAM!" A lightning bolt fell through the waterfall, nearly horizontal as it struck him, transforming him into one of the Shazam's.
"Ok. Kai, gather Barda, Aqua, and Micron and take them all to Metropolis. Myself, Danica, and Billy will go to Keystone," Terry said as the Batwing suddenly dropped down. Terry climbed in and took off, Billy flying behind him as Danica sped below. Kai sighed, before forming a bubble around his team, lifting them up, and flying away.
NEW YORK
"Dear god," Steve Rogers murmured at the sight of the Dominator ships invading. "It hasn't even been two years since Loki, and now we're being attacked again?"
"Looks like it Cap," Clint said as he readied his bow and quiver. He reached behind the couch, pulling out a shield, before tossing it to Steve, who easily caught it. Cap hummed, before announcing. "Avengers...Assemble!" Tony Stark entered the room in his Iron suit, with Black Widow and Thor on his tail. Spider-Man climbed in through the window. Bruce entered as well, carrying a clipboard with him.
"Oh my," Peter said in shock as he looked outside. "Those are a lot of aliens,"
"That's even more than Loki's army," Natasha said as she looked outside. "What are we going to do about this? And...what is that?" She asked, pointing up to the giant ship that had appeared out of nowhere, before firing down at the Dominator ships.
"I don't know. What I do know is that they're attacking Metropolis, Keystone City, and a small city named Smallville," Steve said. "So...everyone suit up...we've got an invasion on our hands,"
"Cool," Peter replied.
SCOTLAND
To say Harry didn't see the gigantic ship that suddenly appeared out of the sky would be a lie. He did. And he had even received a strange owl stating for Barry Allen to go to a strange town they had never heard of, located in America. Smallville. The coordinates were clearly stated on the paper, as well as a note saying the message had been sent to others. Not knowing what to do, Harry grabbed his belongings from his desk, shelf, closet, and under the floorboard, before climbing out of the window, and jumping down to the street.
As if on cue, some sort of futuristic spacecraft appeared on the street, he stepped forward, and onto the ship, which quickly closed behind him. "Hello Mr. Potter," A female voice called out to him. He was scared at first, before seeing the friendly blue face on a nearby screen.
"Uhh...hi. W-What exactly am I needed in...Smallville? And what is that giant ship in the sky?" Harry asked as he fidgeted with his wand.
"The ship is the ISC Blitzkrieg, Mr. Allen's personal interdimensional spacecraft," The head answered. "As for why you are needed. An alien invasion is occuring, and Barry Allen very much needs your help. There are four attack zones. New York, Keystone City, Metropolis, and Smalville. The former three already have a sufficient amount of protection, while Smallville is near undefended,"
"Makes sense. Who else is coming?" Harry asked.
"Yourself, Ms. Granger, Mr. Longbottom, Mr. Black, Mr. Lupin, Mr. and Mrs. Potter, and Mr. Dumbledore will be stationed in Smallville, while many other magicals will be spread through the other three cities," The kind voice replied.
"What's your name?" Harry asked.
"Gideon,"
"Nice to meet you Gideon,"
"It is nice to meet you as well Mr. Potter," Gideon replied.
CHICAGO
Optimus Prime and the other autobots had indeed received the distress call, and were already on their way to Metropolis and Keystone City in order to help. Optimus, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Wheelie were going to rendezvous with Barry and the team in Keystone, while Ratchet, Sideswipe, and Brains would rendezvous with Team Super in Metropolis. What they were unaware of was that unseen eyes were silently following them.
UNSC INFINITY
Captain Laskey and John-117 watched in amazement and fear as the near-Earth long ship suddenly materialized just outside of the atmosphere, overshadowing the planet slightly as it just sat there, occasionally firing down at much smaller ships. "Cortana, what is that thing? Friend or enemy?" John asked Cortana as he readied his MA5D.
"It's friendly John, it's Barry's personal ship. And before you ask, he made it that big to carry most of Earth's population. Something about a 'Crisis'," Cortana said. "He's using it to fire down at the Dominator invaders"
"Dominators? We haven't dealt with them since the fifties," Laskey said. "Why are they invading?"
"Unknown," Cortana said.
"Where are the attack points?" John asked.
"New York, New York. Metropolis, Delaware. Keystone City, Missouri. And Smallville, Kansas," Cortana said. "They need help John," she said sympathetically.
"Fine. Captain Laskey. Tell Noble, Osiris, and Blue Team to meet me in Docking Bay 12 in three minutes," Laskey nodded as John ran out of the bridge, making his way into a turbolift, which sent him down a very dark path, before stopping. He exited the lift, and entered Docking Bay 12. He quickly entered a nearby Pelican, before taking a seat in the pilot's seat.
"We got the memo, Chief, we are all ready," John looked back to find Osiris, Noble, and Blue Team shuffling into the Pelican, their armor glistening against the wall as they sat down. He primed the Pelican, and shot away from the Infinity. He aimed the Pelican down to Earth, and moved the ship forward at its fastest speed.
TIMESTREAM
In the middle of the timestream sat the Waverider, a future ship that belonged to the captain, Rip Hunter. Him and his team, who consisted of; Carter Hall/Hawkman, Red Tornado, Nate Heywood/Steel, Cynthia Reynolds/Gypsy, Helena Bertinelli/Huntress, and Christopher Blitz/Flashman. The group stood in the middle of the bridge, all discussing the distress calls they had gotten.
"Gideon, what is the outcome of this Invasion?" Rip asked.
"There is no known outcome to the Invasion. Millions of possible futures are likely to occur," Gideon replied.
"Great, just great," Christopher said. "So...are we going?"
"Of course we're going," Helena said. "This is Barry we're talking about,"
"We all know you want to see your boyfriend again," Gypsy said, as Helena threw her a glare.
"No. I'm saying that if Barry Allen needs us, it's serious," Helena said, as everyone nodded in agreement. "So...get ready...we're going to 2013,"
DEEP SPACE
Commander Shepard of the SSV Normandy sat in his bunk, with a naked Liara T'Soni asleep at his side. He had woken up from a nightmare, or maybe it was a vision. He was back on Earth, with an all out war occurring above him. The city around him was overshadowed by a large ship that hovered above the atmosphere, which fired down at more ships that were hovering over the city.
He had looked around, finding what looked like real life superheroes running around the city, as well as fighting some sort of lanky looking aliens, with red circles on their foreheads. This was an invasion. Shepard had woken up suddenly, his breath hitching as he wiped sweat from his forehead.
He moved away from the bed, putting on his uniform before leaving the room. He made his way down the hall, and into the bridge. She approaches EDI, and asks. "Are there any distress signals coming from Earth?" EDI turned to the computer, typing away before her default grin turned to a frown.
"It does seem there is a distress call originating from the ISC Blitzkrieg, positioned just outside of the planet Earth," EDI said. "Should we reply?"
"Yes," Shepard said immediately. EDI grinned once again, before pressing a single button. "ISC Blitzkrieg, this is Commander Shepard of the SSV Normandy. We have received your distress call, and are on our way to your coordinates," EDI ended the call. "EDI...set a course for Earth," EDI nodded, grabbing the joysticks, before steering the Normandy to the left. After coming to a stop, she grabbed a lever off to her right, and pushed it forward, sending the ship into light speed.
"How long until we get there?" Shepard asked.
"Three hours, and fifty one minutes Commander Shepard," EDI replied. Shepard nodded, tiredly wiping at his eyes, before leaving the bridge.
YORKTOWN
In the deepest parts of space lay the marble of a space station known as Yorktown. Now unaffected by the Catastrophe on Infinite Multiverses, Yorktown became the intergalactic hotspot for space travel. After the Enterprises destruction in the Neutral Zone, construction of the Enterprise-A was set in Yorktown. Now, a year and a half after its destruction, the Enterprise-A was now complete.
Captain Kirk, Commander Spock, Lieutenant Commander McCoy, Lieutenant Uhura, Lieutenant Commander Scott, Lieutenant Sulu, Ensign Chekov, Dr. Carol Marcus, and Ensign Syl gathered on the bridge of the newly built starship, all marveling in the sleek design of the Enterprise-A.
"Uh, Captain," Uhura called for Kirk, who moved over the communications station. "All Starfleet ships are receiving a distress call from Fleet Admiral Allen. An invasion is taking place on Earth, and they need help," Uhura said. "What should I say?"
"Answer it, and tell him we'll be there immediately. I mean, the man saved the universe," Kirk said before sitting down in the Captain's chair. He pressed on the intercoms, before saying, "All personnel, prepare for battle. We have a distress call coming from Earth itself. An invasion by unknown forces is in dire need of the U.S.S. Enterprise-A," He turned off the comms, before turning to Sulu. "Take us out Mr. Sulu,"
"Yes, sir," Sulu said, before pushing the warp handle forward, sending them through space at Warp 16. "We are estimated to arrive just outside of Earth in...three hours, and fifty minutes," said Sulu. Everything was silent on the bridge, before, "Great...let me know when we're near," Kirk said, before leaving the bridge.
LUSITANIA
Ender Wiggin stood in the fields of Luisitania, picking out weeds that were located on the edge of his farm. He and Valentine, with help from Barry, had freed the planet from the devastating plague that was the Descolada, replacing it with the Recolada. The replacement was only necessary due to the living organism's - who had lived on the planet for thousands of years - dependence on the positive effects of the plague.
The two had been living on the planet for a year and three months, setting up the plans for a colony before building their own home at the top of a nearby hill. Two months after their arrival, Ender - with permission from the Pequeninos - had released the Formics unto the planet.
Five months after their arrival, citizens from Earth had migrated to the resourceful planet, making the first, second, third, and so on colonies of Luisistania. The colonies got along great, which each trading thoughtfully with the Formics, Pequeninos, and other colonies.
"ENDER!" He turned abruptly, his thoughts coming to a head as he found Valentine Wiggin running towards him. "Ender...Ender," Valentine mumbled, still out of breath from running. "Barry called. Earth's in trouble. Invasion. Needs help,"
"Ok...ok," Ender said at the news, before mentally calling out to the Formics. Queen, my homeworld needs help. I know they've done you wrong, and do not trust you...but this is your chance to change their minds, and come into the light. Will you help us? There was silence in Ender's mind, as he and Valentine blankly stared at each other.
I have discussed it with my people, and we have agreed to help. The Hive Queen said as Ender nodded. Valentine grinned, and ran off to their home to gather supplies. Our forces are dire due to our near extinction, leaving us with only seventeen motherships, each with seven thousand fighters. Our motherships are already being prepared, and are near ready to launch.
Thank you. I will converse with Jane, see if we can get you there through the Outside, but no promises. It is very difficult to transport large structures through the Outside. He ended the mental 'call', before turning his attention to Jane. "Jane...is there any chance you can transport the Formic ships to Earth?"
"Barry asked me the same exact question not too long ago. He's updated my memory and processing units three thousand fold, giving me the ability to transport anything lower than three thousand miles in diameter through the Outside," Jane responded. Ender turned, finding a dozen large Formic motherships hovering above one of the colonies. "Do you wish for me to move all space-baring forces to planet Earth?"
"Yes," Ender said, watching as one by one, the Formic ships disappeared from sight. He nodded, before running off to the large home located on the top of the hill, created by Atlerra's habitat builder. Ender rounded the building, finding Valentine just outside of the giant ship located in their large field of a backyard. The ISC Frontier, Barry's first ship, which he had given to Ender and Valentine for their journey.
While Valentine continued to stuff supplies and personal items into a few duffel bags, Ender made his way up the ramp, before reaching the turbolift. The Frontier was large, seeing as it could hold five hundred people, and Ender was ready to put it to use. He entered the bridge, sitting down in the pilot seat as Valentine entered. "We're ready," She said, before taking the co-pilot seat. "Prepare for FTL jump in three...two...one," Ender pressed a small button off to the side, watching as blue energy suddenly surrounded them. In a matter of milliseconds, they were gone from the surface of Luisitania, unaware of the stowaway they were carrying.
CAMP HALF-BLOOD
The citizens of Camp Half-Blood ran all over the place, the sight of the large ship hanging over the planet forcing them to prepare for the worst. It wasn't until they received a message via owl that an invasion was occuring in the east. Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood watched as dropships dropped to the ground, collecting the people of the camp before taking off to unknown regions.
"Ok, I've packed all of our weapons, food, supplies, etc," Annabeth said suddenly as she loaded several bags into a dropship. She threw Percy his sword-pen, Grover his crutches, before grabbing her own shield. "So...are you guys ready? Or are we going to just stand here?" Percy and Grover grinned, before running into the dropship as the ramp closed. The ship lifted from the ground, before following the large armada of ships.
DEEP SPACE
In the far reaches of space, in the midst of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker awoke to an alarm that meant only bad things. He stirred, slowly sitting up as he tiredly rubbed at his eyes. Gaining full consciousness, Anakin stood up, before moving to his terminal, which displayed a distress call coming from Earth. He pressed the call for details, finding a short paragraph as well as the sender. Admiral Barry Allen.
The paragraph stated that the planet was being invaded by ruthless aliens called the Dominators, who were fitted with thousands of large ships, which were all attacking four cities. He reached over to his comm system, and contacted Obi-Wan. "Master, I have just received a distress call from Earth, where an invasion is occuring. Should I answer it?"
"We received a similar distress call not three minutes ago. The Council has decided to respond and has agreed to send an 'estimate' of ten thousand clones, as well as several Jedi to Earth," Obi-Wan replied. "It appears that the Council has found a very powerful Force presence located on the surface of the planet, and are hoping to find it, or them,"
"Ok, what is our ETA?" Anakin asked.
"Two hours," Obi-Wan replied. "I recommend preparing for the battle ahead. I recommend readying Ahsoka as well. We will need everyone for this upcoming invasion," The comms disconnected as Anakin sighed. He moved over to his closet, where he pulled over his Jedi Knight robes, before grabbing his lightsaber, and sprinting from the room.
KEYSTONE CITY
Barry sped through Keystone City, Daniel West or the Reverse-Flash II hot on his tail. The two had been fighting for some time now, and were neck and neck in their fight through the city. After several minutes of throwing punches, Barry slammed Daniel to the ground, his hand phasing inches from Daniel's heart before the gunfire grew louder and more frequent.
The two speedsters looked up immediately to find five Formic motherships hovering over the city. The Dominators had begun opening fire on the Formics, who had already released five swarms of fighters throughout the air. Barry, astonished by the rate of the alien species arrival, never saw Daniel's claws as they embedded into his chest. Barry screamed in pain, falling to the ground as Daniel stood. "Not so great now, eh?" Daniel asked as he raised his arm in a threatening stance. "And now...you die,"
