Monday Night RAW: 18/6/2007
Monday Night RAW was live in Richmond, Virginia, a week after Vince McMahon was apparently blown up. Mick Foley was in the middle of the ring and told us the show would indeed, go on. Mick Foley said he wanted to be the guy in the middle of the ring because last week he said some things that people may have found inappropriate. He said while Vince may have kicked him around, he also gave Mick the opportunity of a lifetime. Foley said he wanted to take some time to apologize to the McMahon family.
Randy Orton's music hit to a huge freakin' pop. Orton grabbed the mic and said it was pretty incredible that Mick Foley could come to the ring wearing a stupid suit and make a public apology and expect that somehow things would be ok. Orton said it was no secret he knew everything Mick said was true. Orton accused Foley of maybe having something to do with Vince's death.
King Booker's music hit and he came down the ramp. Our royal highness came down the aisle and said there was a federal investigator here tonight. He said he was seen speaking for more than an hour with Bobby Lashley. He said that would probably be a good start. He said Lashley was stripped of the ECW title by Mr. McMahon. He said Lashley used to be an army Ranger and had in depth knowledge of weapons and explosives.
Lashley's music hit and he came down to the ring. Booker looked like he was going to crap himself. I love the King. Lashley immediately just shoved Booker and sent him flying out of the ring. While Lashley paced around the ring, formee WWE Champion John Cena's msic hit and he came out to the ring to a huge pop.
Cena told "Kojack" and "Ace Ventura" to take it easy. Cena said he saw what happened last week and was asking himself the same questions. He said McMahon was their boss but they only had to see him two or three times a week tops. He wondered how many enemies McMahon really had. Teachers, fans, wrestlers and pretty much anyone associated with the XFL, everyone had a beef with Vince.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Vengeful One hits to a mixed reaction that was mostly filled with cheers. Bladewolf had the WWE Championship around his waist as he walks down the ramp and gets onto the apron, entering the ring. Bladewolf grabs a microphone and stares down his challengers for Vengeance: Night of Champions. Originally it was meant to be Bladewolf vs John Cena for the WWE Championship, but the match had been changed and now Randy Orton, King Booker, Mick Foley, and Bobby Lashley had been added.
"I don't care who blew Vince up." Bladewolf stated coldly. "I don't care about anything except this Sunday where I face all of you for the WWE Championship. Vince would want us to continue on with the show so let's do what we do here on Monday Night RAW,we shut up and fight."
The crowd cheered in agreement. Suddenly Coachman's music hits and he comes out to boos. "Bladewolf, I agree with you. Tonight, all of you will be competing. Lashley and Foley will team up against Randy Orton and King Booker. While Bladewolf, you will team up with your Wolfpack buddies to face John Cena and Cryme Tyme."
The crowd cheered at these announcements. Bladewolf and Cena glare each other down as Orton, Foley, Booker, and Lashley do the same. RAW then went to commercial.
Later
Cryme Tyme's music was playing after RAW came back from commercial break. It was the Main Event and the six man tag was beginning. John Cena's theme hits and the former WWE Champion comes out. "And their partner, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 240 lbs...JOHN CENA!"
Cena runs down the ramp, slides into the ring and raises his arms. He throws his hat and shirt off as he waits for the other trio.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Animal plays and out comes the Wolfpack trio. All three have their titles around their waists. "And their opponents, the WWE Champion the Bladewolf, and the World Tag Team Champions Jackal and Bloodwolf... THE WOLFPACK!"
The Wolfpack enter the ring and take off their Wolfpack jackets, which had three glaring wolf faces on the back. They give their titles to someone at ringside before the referee calls for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf starts the match off with John Cena. The two circle one another before locking up. Bladewolf drives his knee into Cena's ribcage before pulling him close to hit a belly-to-belly suplex. Bladewolf walks over to his rival and stomps on his chest multiple times before grabbing him again and hits a German Suplex. Bladewolf walks over and unloads with lefts and rights to Cena. The referee tells Bladewolf to get off and give Cena a chance. Bladewolf does so and watches Cena recover before walking over and gets to a knee before hammering away violently with right hands to the skull as Cena covers up until the referee warns Bladewolf again.
The WWE Champion backs off as the referee checks on Cena. Cena gets to his feeds and nods that he was alright.
Bladewolf hits Cena in the head with a right hand, causing him to stumble back. Bladewolf then kicks Cena in the gut before giving another hard right, then another, then he hits a hard left before tackling Cena into the corner where he delivers a few shoulders to the gut until Cena begins delivering elbows to the back of the 4-time WWE Champion.
Bladewolf goes to a knee before he lifts Cena up and slams him onto the mat and delivered a few right hands to the head until the referee got involved, causing Bladewolf to back off.
Bladewolf watched Cena before running up and boots him in the face, causing him to go down again. Bladewolf grabs him around the waist and goes to hit a German Suplex until Cena delivers an elbow to the side of Bladewolf's head and does a few more until Bladewolf let's go. Cena rebounds off the ropes and takes Bladewolf does with a clothesline, going for the cover afterwards. ONE! TWO! THR-! No! Bladewolf kicks out!
Cena gets to his feet and stomped on Bladewolf a few times before picking him up and Irish whips him into the turnbuckle and runs for turnbuckle clothesline when Bladewolf ducks it, grabs Cena from behind and hits a German Suplex. Bladewolf walls over to Cena and goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! THR-! Cena kicks out!
Bladewolf sighs before he delivers a few rights to Cena's head before stopping and locks in a headlock, trying to wear Cena down or make him submit. Cena begins fighting back with elbows to Bladewolf's stomach, forcing the Champion to let him go. Both men get to their feet and run at each other, both clotheslining one another and going down.
Bladewolf rolls over and tags in Jackal who comes in and attacks Cena. Cena ends up fighting back and tags in JTG who comes in...STRAIGHT INTO A SPEAR!
Jackal tags in Bloodwolf who comes in and lifts JTG up onto his shoulders... AND HITS A POWERBOMB! The Wolfpack were dominant.
Bloodwolf tags in Bladewolf and all three members of the Wolfpack attack Cena and Cryme Tyme. Jackal and Bloodwolf send JTG and Shad outside the ring before lifting Cena onto their shoulders as Bladewolf goes up to the top rope...AND THEY HIT THE TRIPLE POWERBOMB NECKBREAKER! BLADEWOLF HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE WOLFPACK ARE STILL UNDEFEATED!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The Animal plays as the trio stand tall. Since reuniting after WrestleMania 23, the Wolfpack have been undefeated in six man tag matches, but Jackal and Bloodwolf have lost several tag team matches, though not a lot. Bladewolf gets their titles and they raise them over their heads.
Will the Bladewolf still be WWE Champion come next Monday Night after Vengeance?
And that's it for this chapter. The next one is Vengeance: Night of Champions.
