Author's Notes: And the fun continues. Soundwave's most known alt mode is a blue and silver tape player in the generation one cartoon. Referenced here. And yes, more drabbles will follow on the running storylines already posted, in chapters coming. Onward to things occurring and realizing later what really happened.

"Assist required. Timing critical. Transform locked." Soundwave's monotone contrasted with his frantic bouncing as a small tape player. Another blast ricocheted nearby, the concussive force knocking the mech's alt off the recycling bin onto the asphalt. Sideswipe raced through the alleyway, his wheels sending the shape spinning in a circle.

"Coming boss!" Rumble yelled, sliding in under weapons fire. The cassette picked him up, tucking him under his arm.

"Avoid Wheeljack invention output."

"Got it. Autobots bad. Slag." The roaring of jet engines followed the seekers abandoning them. "Need to find a disguise. Human garage, let's see what is inside."

"We have a potential problem," Prowl began.

"How potential?" Ironhide beat Prime to the question, stepping back from the target range. Prime finished, happy at his high score then realized it was one mark lower than Ironhide's.

"The Transformer fan club online, run by humans and a front for the Decepticons."

"What seems to be the problem?"

"Their monthly giveaway for new fans are stickers of faction emblems and alt modes. Not our alt modes but," he frowned, his wing doors dropping.

"Worried they gonna gum our wheels?" Ironhide joked.

"Bumblebee's stickers arrived today." The enforcer held up the package.

"Disgraceful and amateurish."

"What was that Drift?"

The other Autobots moved back, letting Sideswipe move to face Drift. The Decepticon turned Autobot remained still, only his optics narrowed. "That is what you call an attack?"

"How about call a medic after I get done with you?"

A minute later Drift released Sideswipe's arm, permitting the red armored bot to rise off the ground. "Confidence not arrogance. Skill beats natural talent, and size. Pranks show intelligence and planning. The brig wastes your talent. Improve your attack."

As Drift left, Sideswipe realized. "That wasn't criticism but disappointment, he processed we were better."

Wheelie rolled through the alley following the twins until detecting a nearby energy signature and tiny ped print.

"Alley rats. My specialty," the blue wheeled bot subspaced his rifle, the cat hologram designed by Wheeljack appearing around him.

A blast shook the garage and the Decepticons bolted. The chase was on.

"Can someone please tell me why a snowman carrying a boom box, being chased by a cat holding a rifle ran through the neighborhood and not one NEST soldier thought that was peculiar? Anyone? Other than social media videos everywhere catching it?" General Morshower challenged during the situation debrief.
