A/N: So I'm re-uploading this since I had my beta readers tell me this is boring so I'm redoing the entire chapter and here's the result. These chapters (I think 10 or 15, may change) on how it all flows will show how far Kian has come along and starts the many arcs leading up to this God Slayer Villian, which if you haven't guessed by now is Empena.
You can think of this story as what happened with Percy in his adventures, from 12 to 16 if it makes sense, a book for each year
I've also removed the Kronos bit since my beta readers also told me how it didn't make sense since Kronos would have no idea about the existence of angels and/or demons and typically, Pantheons(if you would call this version of angels a pantheon) avoid each other
Also, I changed the term Nephalem into Nephilim, since it's more mythological whereas the former is just something from Diablo :p
Interestingly enough, the term isn't cannon would you believe it. It can mean a half-human half-demon/half-angel child and or angel-demon hybrid and looking at the term, it makes much more sense for my story
Another update, I also changed Violet's powers since what I had earlier made no sense in regards to Captain Marvel. What I have now, makes much more sense with regards to the overall story
Sorry for the massive Author's note. Read on!

Kian's POV
So, let's get this started
Right now, I'm here in the libraries, telling a scribe, Harry, to type this up. He might add his notes here and there. (Harry: I definitely will!) Since he'll be doing the editing for all our chapters, I sure hope you like him whoever's reading this in the future, this book might be the last thing he said-
"Kian, we need to start,"
"Yeah, give me a minute, you know I'm setting up things right?" I replied, looking at my best friend laying across some beanbags. He was typing what we were saying on the holograms that came with his suit, courtesy of hologram technology
Before I lose any track of time or get distracted. Let's begin-
"What are you gonna call this book?" Harry asked
"Huh?"
"You know how you have 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' or 'The Fellowship of the Ring' what's yours?"
I scratched my head. "You know, I haven't thought of a title yet."
He looked at me with wide eyes. "How about Kian's Bizzare Adventures?"
"No, and you guys are just as important, it isn't just about me."
"Our Hero Academy?"
I couldn't help but laugh. "That's taken. Hmm, thinking about why we're writing about. How about: 'How to Kill a God Killer?"
Harrison thought for a moment, his hands hovering in the air for a split second. "Eh, could have something cooler but yeah, let's go with that, Kina!"
I nodded. "Alright. Let's get started, this is Chapter 1 of 'How to Kill a God Killer!'"

Kian's POV
Chapter 1: Kian Taylor: Origin
My story begins on the last day of primary school.
I stood out in the field, feeling the wind flying past my face as I played with Harry in the school fields. We were kicking around a football as we spent our lunch break enjoying our time together.
"So," Harry said. "Any news about this 'Hero Academy' your dad's been telling you about?"
I shook my head. "Nope, not a clue. He said he would tell me when I was 12, so I'm guessing he would tell me by the end of August." I thought back to what started this, this dream of mine and how I had practised for it, ever since I heard of it
Around August 1998...
"You were a Superhero?!" I asked my Dad. I was shocked to find that out and I stared at him, my eyes almost popping out of my head. He nodded. I was around 6 or 7 when dad told me about this. I had asked for a bedtime story and he complied, telling me how he used to save people as a superhero back when he was younger
"I was a superhero, but I retired a long time ago Kina," he said kindly. My dad had a scruffy light beard, rugged tan skin and dark eyes, almost obsidian stones behind his glasses. He looked scary but he was always nice to me and my Mum. She told me he looks scary because he used to be so strong back when he was younger.
"Tell me about it!" I said while I was under my bed covers. "Please please please?"
Dad sighed and explained. "Well there is this place, a place full of people with powers and they train there, all so that they can learn to save people as superheroes," he explained calmly. "You get to see amazing things."
My little mind was blown, I had never heard of something like that and I desperately wanted to go there."I wanna go, I wanna go! I wanna go!"
Dad laughed and then patted my head. "Are you sure Kina? I mean being a superhero is hard work!"
I shook it off, which given how single-minded I was when I was that age it was to be expected. "Yeah!" I fist-bumped the air. "You told me all those stories, didn't you? And
Dad sighed. "I did, but it was only because you asked for them. Not because I wanted to do. Do you want another story?"
I nodded. Dad went on to explain how there was this 'Superhero Academy' a place where people with abilities like mine, could learn and become Superheroes, it was like something out of a comic book. I knew it was too early but I already knew what I wanted to do. The more stories my dad told me, the more I was determined to go there, I never faltered and gave up
Around August 1999...
"Can you teach me, please!" I asked my Mum and Dad
Mum turned to me. She had bright blonde hair and sky blue eyes that put everyone at ease, but that may be because she always made me feel safe. "Are you sure Kian?" she asked, "You know being a superhero is tough!"
I nodded furiously like I was a bobblehead. "Yeah! I want to be a superhero! I wanna be a superhero, I wanna be a superhero!"
Mum laughed and then moved the hair in front of my eyes. "Okay, well I'll teach you telekinesis, for now, Dad will teach you self defence."
"Yay!" I cheered. Mum had explained that I had her powers, due to superpowers being genetic also because she saw me moving some toys when I was little. This also led to some more questions
"Um, Mum I've been meaning to ask you. Why can I move things with my mind but not others? Don't they have superpowers?"
Mum took a deep breath, got out a bar of chocolate and carried me in her arms. "Kian, we've been meaning to tell you ever since you asked this okay?"
I nodded. "What is it?"
"Your an alien"
I dropped the chocolate bar but Mum caught it in mid-air like she was playing with a yo-yo. I kept staring at my Mum, my mind blown
"I-I'm a what?!"
"You're an alien. Plain and simple!"
"As in I'm from up there?!" I pointed to the sky. Mum laughed and put the chocolate bar back in my mouth.
"Not exactly. You were born in Bedford, a small town just north of London. You were born on Earth, it's just us. We were born elsewhere." Mum explained
I suddenly got a thought, one that I'm sure your all going to know what I was going to say. "Does that mean I'm Superman?!"
Mum pouted. "I'm sure your Dad and I are very much alive, Kina."
"Oh sorry," I said sheepishly. "I have powers because I'm not a human right? At least not genetically."
Mum nodded. "Exactly. Now come on, let's start practising with these powers." She let me down on the floor and grabbed a plate. She showed it to me and held it in place. "I want you to use your powers to hold this plate in the air, okay?"
I nodded and put my hand out. I concentrated and I could feel a surge of energy flow within my 8-year-old body. I focused it on the plate and I could feel the weight of it. Mum wiped my hair and turned to me. "Now, I'm gonna let it go okay? You have to move it into my open hands."
She let go and holding the plate was a lot harder. It felt like I was trying to lift a bag of sugar, even though it was a dinner plate I was trying to lift. Mum sat on the ground a few meters away from me and had her hands open like she was playing with a little toddler. "Come on, Kina. If you want to be a superhero, you have to work hard!"
I gave it my all and moved the plate into Mum's open hands. She caught it and I was pulled into her arms like a magnet. She happily hugged me and kissed my head. "Well done, but if you want to be a superhero, you have to work harder than you have before okay? That was good for your first try."
I nodded, enjoying the safety in my mum''s arms. I could feel a headache starting to form and I winced. Mum took notice and pressed a couple of fingers to my temple. "Yeah, it happens to all the first-timers, don't worry, when you get better, it'll fade" I could feel my headache disappear. I looked up to see my Mum smiling down at me.
"Yeah, I'll practise super hard!" I replied. "I'll do it every day!"
And that was that. Every day I trained with Mum on my telekinesis and Dad reluctantly taught me self defence, he refused to teach me beyond that since he didn't need me getting in trouble at school. Practising with Mum allowed me to gain a range of 10m where my Telekinesis can effect, any more and it was useless.
"Kian incoming!"
I snapped back to the present day. I sharply glanced upwards and chested the airborne ball before controlling it with my feet. I kicked it back to Harry, who looked impressed
"Shouldn't have doubted you. You were always good with a football at your feet," he said, impressed.
Harry demonstrated impressive control of it like I had. "Same Harry, remember us playing together?"
Oh, I should introduce ourselves. I'm Kian Taylor, full name Kiannen Alexander Micheal Ewan Taylor which made me sound like I came out of the royal family, and I hated when people called me by my first name, so I went with Kian
The person in front of me was Harry, full name: Harrison Arthur Pendragon. He was my age, complete with milky white skin, dark hair and dark eyes. He had this uncanny ability to make jokes quickly, he was always the smartest out of the both of us, so that was to be expected
"Hey! Give us a touch!"
I glanced to see someone look at us, his eyes ready to cause Chaos between the two of us. "Come on then, I'm waiting."
"Damn it's him again!" Harry whispered
This was Varahad Khan, someone in the school football team. His skin was a shade of sepia which, his dark curly hair streaked his forehead. He would have been someone I got along with, had he not tried to bully everyone he saw.
"I know," I muttered under my breath. I turned to Varahad. "Uh, sorry man."
Varahad seemed to double-take. "I'm sorry, did you say no?"
"Yeah, sorry," Harry replied sheepishly
Varahad laughed. "Don't try to play the hero Kiannen. Superheroes don't exist."
I wanted to use my powers then and there but I couldn't for 2 reasons: 1. He was too far away for my telekinesis to affect him and 2. My parents had made a promise to never use my powers to hurt others, only to save others. And it was something I was starting to regret
Ever since I was 6, I wanted to be a superhero. It became an obsession, something I couldn't let go, no matter what. This would have been fine had I grown up into the world I was yet to know, but not on Earth.
Varahad laughed. "You know what's going to happen?"
"No, what?"
"You're going to give me the ball and you're not going to do anything about it." He sneered. "You're on the last chance, right? One more incident and you're done."
He was right, unfortunately. During primary school, I had gotten involved in a lot of fights, and not all of them ended up nicely for me. Whenever I saw someone trying to hurt others, I couldn't stand there and do nothing, I had to get involved and not all of it ended like what you imagined. And I remember what happened in the past, how this came about
Around August 2001
Mum was cleaning the scratches that I had endured in the latest fight. I winced as she put on some medical liquid.
"You know Kian, the point of Self Defense is to fight back, not stand there and get hit!" Mum replied. "Why didn't you hit back?"
"I know, I know. I just froze when he was going to punch me and, then I ended up on the floor." I replied. "I'm sorry Mum, I promised you that I wouldn't get into more fights."
"It's okay. Can you tell me what happened?" Mum asked
"Well Varahad, he called Violet an idiot and I just snapped, Violet was really sad I couldn't just let it stand!" I said boldly, but wincing again when Mum cleaned a wound. "The teachers said that I shouldn't have done that."
Mum laughed. "Seriously, did they say that. You know what Kian, you should be proud of yourself, you stood up for your friend because you couldn't stand seeing her hurt. Keep that will going!"
I smiled at her words and heard the door open. Dad walked in, his spiky hair jostled with his movements, he was dressed in a red sleeveless shirt and black trousers. He looked at me and his eyes widened with horror. He came over and hugged me gently. "What happened to you?!"
Mum moved and kissed Dad on the cheek, she then went on to explain what happened. Dad turned to me and sighed. "Again. Did you at least get a good hit in?"
I shook my head. "Sorry Dad, I-I just froze."
Dad ran a hand through my hair. "Hey, it's okay. I don't expect you to turn into a martial artist anytime soon. I think more sparring is necessary, you need to overcome the fear of fighting," he explained. "We'll start with dodging, and we'll work up from there, okay?"
I nodded. "Yeah got it."
Dad smiled. "If you do get into fights, and you're too scared to fight back, it's okay to run. Just try not to get into any fights okay, you're on the last chance too, remember?"
"Trust me Dad, I won't. I'll do my best to not get into any fights."
"Good. If you do get expelled, you won't be allowed to go where you want to go. They won't accept expelled students," Dad explained
That strengthened my drive. "I won't, I'll do my best to be a superhero. You know that I will!"
Mum chuckled. "You know it says something about the education system when they're going to let someone as bright as you be expelled."
"I'm not as smart as Harry," I whimpered. "I mean he always gets higher than me, Violet too in tests. Sometimes, I feel like I'm useless, all they do is make fun of me when I told them I wanted to be a superhero."
"And you'll show them that you'll do it. When you're faced with something tough, what do you do?" Mum asked me
"I keep going?"
Mum nodded. "And you'll exactly that. You were too stubborn to give up then, and you won't be now. So keep that drive up, it's one of your greatest strengths"
"Hey, Superman, I'm talking to you!"
I snapped to see Varahad looking on in a sneer. He chuckled darkly and then turned to me. "Can't you pay attention-oh wait, I remember how you're disabled!"
"That's enough!" Harry restored quickly. "Just because he has ADHD doesn't mean he's disabled!"
"And what are you going to do?" Varahad turned to him. "Don't tell me you're going to stand up for Harry Potter here."
I hated that name.
Why did he call me that? When I went to primary school, mum had given me a pair of glasses that hid my natural eye colour. I was born with an unnatural magenta colour, one that mum told me to hide when I went out of the house.
I didn't know it at that time why I had purple eyes, and I wanted to show it to everyone in school but my parents had told me not to never show it to anyone like it was something to be ashamed of, so I hid it behind those glasses.
I turned back to Varahad. "Leave us alone, go and get another football. I'm sure you can ask for some from the others. Don't bother us."
"Oh, I know. See, I just wanted an excuse to beat you up."
"What?! Why would you do that?!" I shouted. "I haven't done anything to you?!"
"Are you sure?!" He spat angrily. "You don't even know how much I hate you. You get the highest grades, you always do the best in PE, even with your condition. You're a freak!"
"That's not true!" Harry defended me. "Shouldn't you be sort of like inspired by him?"
Varahad scowled. "Hell no, I'm not going to be inspired by some hyperactive lunatic. I'm going to get you expelled, right here!"
He started to charge towards me but I sidestepped. He tried again and I sidestepped, narrowly dodging his attack. In the surrounding, a large number of people had gathered around the two of us, chanting 'FIGHT' 'FIGHT' 'FIGHT' as we duked it out
"Come on throw a punch!" Varahad screamed
I didn't want to and I wasn't going to either, I didn't want to hurt him and I didn't know why he was so jealous of me. I kept dodging his attacks because I was scared of fighting him.
He was the one I usually ended up fighting against, that and his crew and after getting hit by him many times, I knew how he worked, where his punches would come from, almost instinctively
This went on for a few more minutes before a few teachers got involved. They weren't surprised to find out the two of were involved. It was broken up quite easily and everyone stood there for a few minutes before Vaharad's friends spoke
"Kian started it!" one of them said. "I saw it happen!"
"Yeah," the other one said. "Varahad asked to play and Kian started on him."
The rest of the crowd murmured with them, unsure of what happened since they didn't see it. I was beginning to feel uneasy since I was walking on thin straws. I looked over to Varahad and there was a smug smile on his face like he accomplished his mission
"Not you two again!" A teacher said exasperated. "Kian go to the Principal's office."
"Yeah, freak!" one of Varahad's friends said. "That'll teach you to play the hero"
As he said that one, the crowd looked at me and muttered. "What a weirdo, he wants to be a superhero, he does realise that's it made up right?"
This went on for a while as I walked to the principle's office, my feelings hurt slightly. I would have been sad but this happened to me over my primary school. Every time I played hero, I would get teased, saying that my goal of being a superhero was just some stupid dream I needed to let go
I didn't let go. I never did. I held on to that dream, like a vice grip
Even when they laughed at me, I held on to the day that my dad would tell me about this superhero academy, something I wanted to attend so bad, all that training was for that day I could stand and call myself a superhero
As I sat on the chair outside the principle's office. I waited for a few minutes before I heard someone walk up to me. I looked up to see someone familiar smile at me.
"Hey, you doing okay?" Harry asked me.
"Yeah, I am, I'm sorry I dragged you into this," I replied. "I'm probably going to be expelled for this."
Harry laughed. "Yeah, no chance. I told them what happened. Did you think I'd let you get in trouble when you didn't start it?"
"I guess? What did they tell you?" I asked
"Well they told the principal about it but he seemed to not be bothered with you. You know, I just wonder if you like being in trouble." Harry stated. "I know you like to play this hero, but don't you think you should stop this?"
"Why?"
Harry sat next to me. "Think about it. We've been waiting for your dad to tell us about this place, this superhero academy, ever since we were little kids, and he's not told us anything."
"I know, I know. But he said he would tell me when I'm 12." I quipped back.
"Yeah. But don't you have any other dreams? I mean, being a superhero is what everyone wants to do as a kid right?" Harry replied. "I mean I want to, but I don't exactly have superpowers."
"You mean apart from the suit you and uncle Tony have been working on?" I asked
"Well...I can't get it to fly, and it just makes me a bit stronger. It's not like I put it on and I'm suddenly Superman," he replied. "If I'm being honest, I think we should let go of that dream."
My stomach turned uneasy. "W-what are you on about?"
"Look, I don't want to either but come on, do you think your dad's gonna tell us? Every time you ask him, he seems so hesitant to tell you." Harry replied, a hint of sadness in his voice
"Dad did say being a superhero was tough." I tapped my knees shakily. "But no, I trust him, I trust that my dad would tell me about this. Besides, he's never let me down, not ever."
Harry nodded. "If you say so, did you know what you were doing, you know when they did that 'What do you want to do in the future?' class?"
"If I had realised that everyone would laugh at me when I said I want to be a superhero, I would have said something else. But I don't regret what I did, so they can keep laughing at me, I won't give up, a hero never loses his drive!"
"You know, I wonder if this superhero academy thing exists. It's like something out of a comic book!" Harry replied. "Wait, does that mean I'm Batman and your Superman?"
I chuckled. "I guess, but I'm sure I wasn't raised on a farm and both our parents are alive aren't they?"
Harry chuckled. "Yeah, your right."
I heard footsteps and I turned to see a teacher that I knew very well. He had neatly cut blonde hair and glasses that made him look like a news reporter. He wore smart clothes too, a waistcoat with navy blue trousers. He was always good at being organised. "You know, I'm starting to think you're a fight magnet," he said. His name: Mr Silva, even though he looked more Nordic than Spanish.
"Yeah, sorry," I replied. "Guess I've made myself a target huh?"
Mr Silva laughed. "You know there's nothing wrong about being a superhero. Although, given what your classmates think, that can be debatable."
"I know," I replied. "Am I off the hook or?"
Mr Silva turned to me. "Oh yeah, sorry. Yeah, I need you back in class, can't have my star students truanting can I?"
"Sir, do you think I'm a star student? I mean, ever since that day I said I want to be a superhero, they've done nothing but bully me!" I spoke.
Mr Silva scoffed. "Seriously? You're letting them get into your head? Come on Kian, you know you're better than what they think."
"I know, I keep ignoring them but I can only keep it up for so long. And when they say I'm disabled, it just hurts you know," I replied
"Well, they're jealous of you. Both of you seriously. You two have the highest test scores, you do well in PE and you're just genuinely nice people. You know, if you think about it, your already superheroes," Mr Silva spoke
"W-what? How?"
"You keep smiling despite what people say about the two of you, now I don't know about you but I would call that a pretty good superhero origin story." Mr Silva said kindly
I couldn't help but smile. "I guess it does, thanks Sir"
He shook it off. "Now come on, you're gonna miss class, and this is the last day of class, we have a film to see!"
Harry perked up. "Oh yeah! What is it? I hope it's Star Wars!"
Mr Silva opened our class door and we went inside, the eyes of our classmates there to greet us. They all turned like storks, complete to ridicule me
"I thought he was going to be expelled."
"That'll teach him to be a superhero, he does realise that they're all made up right?"
"He's such an idiot, that Harry Potter git!"
"That's enough!" Mr Silva commanded. Gaining their attention. "If you want to know, Kian's not going to be expelled, since it wasn't a fight."
"But Varahad said he started it!"
"Well thanks to an anonymous tip, I know exactly what happened. Enough questions, or do you not want to see the film?" Mr Silva said again, his voice like a loaded gun.
"Urrgh, it was probably that brat Harry!"
Harry scowled back and tried to move but Mr Silva shook his head and set his sights on who said it. "Oh, I thought I made myself clear. Unfortunately, we won't be watching the-"
Immediately our class broke into a huge plea, begging Mr Silva to play the film. He couldn't hide the smug grin on his face. He dropped it and faced my class. "Behave yourself, it's the last day. Can I ask for one second that you treat these two like normal, for one day at least?!"
The rest of the class quietened down afterwards to their dismay. Mr Silva nodded and then turned to us. "Kian, Harry go to your seats."
After we sat down in our table of 3, Mr Silva turned to his laptop and began to play the movie. While I sat down, I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see another classmate
"Hey, you know what I think being a superhero is great."
This was Violet Schwartz. She had blue eyes, dark brown almost black hair and skin the colour of chocolate. She was always optimistic and always tried to help others, me and Harry included. I was always thankful for that.
"You think so?" Harry asked. "Because all it seems to do is make us targets. Kian with those glasses especially."
Violet turned to me. "Can't you take it off?"
I shook my head. "Sorry, my Mum told me not to take it off, she said it's like bad luck."
"Oh, okay," she replied. "So, do you know the high school you're going to?"
It hit a soft spot but I know she didn't mean it, she was like sweetness purified. I had known Violet since starting primary school and she would always play with the two of us during our free time. She ended up getting made fun of too but she didn't seem to mind, it was like nothing got to her
"I don't know, my dad was going to tell us about it when I'm 12, I've been asking him for so long and I hope he's going to tell me about it near August," I explained
Violet thought to herself, and she would bring up some perceptive points. She, along with the two of us would place top in our class, like the three musketeers. It used to be great, being praised for being at the top of the class, until it turned to jealously
"Must be a special school then."
"Yeah, it is. The Film's starting, no one talk!" Harry replied quickly
The Film was indeed Star Wars: Phantom Menace, that is. Now I don't know about you, but I loved it, especially the lightsaber fights. Harry, not so much. We had finished watching it, had a little pizza party and headed outside.
"How can you like them?!" he asked me. "It's boring."
"The fights were good though," I replied
"Well yes, but it's boring, boring, boring, boring. Lightsaber Fight, then boring," Harry continued. "And don't get me started on Jar-Jar!"
"He reminds me of you!" I said
"Hey! I'll have you know that I do not look like a bumbling stupid alien!" he retorted.
I put my hands up in surrender, quietly laughing to myself. "Woah Woah, dude, chill. It's a joke!"
Harry huffed and puffed but he calmed down eventually. We made our way outside, seeing the faces of parents and children as they waved goodbye to everyone, seeing their faces for the last time
"This is it huh?" Harry asked. "This is the final day."
I nodded. "Just waiting for Dad to explain all of this and we'll be good to go."
"I'm gonna go look for Violet okay?" Harry said
I nodded and saw him trying to find Violet in a crowd of people. I breathed in the fresh air, hoping I could see my dad in the crowd. Well, I would know where and when my Dad was because of his scent. He smelled of axe deodorant and leather, like came out of an American Biker's gang.
When I tried to be sneaky, I would always try to smell for his scent. I remember when I was up at night, reading Harry Potter and I suddenly smelled Dad coming upstairs, so I hid the book and pretended to sleep
"Hello Kiannen"
I turned to see Varahad looking at me with a sneer. I rolled my eyes, already used to what he would throw at me. "Oh, it's you." I deadpanned
"Do you think that you can leave here without me getting the last laugh," he seethed. "You were supposed to fight back! You should have been expelled today, you should have been humiliated!"
"Sorry, dude. I'm not into humiliation. Anyway, good luck on what High school you're going to. See ya," I replied.
"Oh no, you're not going anywhere!" he launched forward, trying to punch me.
I didn't know how at that time but I knew where and how he was going to punch me, he was going to punch me in the face and then my soft spot-you know, the one part where if you want to seriously hurt a guy? Yeah
Varahad seemed to have all that planned out, but what he didn't know was that he was within 10m of me. I subtly flicked my fingers at his foot and he tripped on the floor, 9 meters from me
He got up embarrassed, tears in his eyes at the impact. He wanted to shout at me but he seemed to shut up and walk away.
"Guess that's the last of him then," I replied. I smelled the familiar scent of deodorant and turned to see my Dad looking at me, smiling as I ran up to him
He hugged me and ran a hand through my hair. "Hey Kina, did you enjoy your final day?"
I nodded. "Yeah, I did."
"Kina, I heard about what happened."
My stomach started to feel uneasy like there was a rollercoaster inside. I looked up to see Dad but he seemed to have been intrigued. "Why are you so scared, what happened?"
"Well, I thought you were going to tell me that I couldn't go," I said sadly.
Dad laughed. "Well let's see, did you get expelled?"
"No-"
"Do you have good grades throughout school?"
"Yes but-"
"Then that's it. You know, you worry too much you know?" Dad said kindly. "Oh, remember what Is said that I'll tell you about this superhero school?"
I perked up. "Yeah?"
"I'll tell you about it. You deserve to know, after all, did you think I wasn't going to let my own flesh and blood do what he loves?"
All my worries vanished and I just hugged my dad tightly in a mixture of excitement and relief. After enduring all that abuse, that I should have let my dream go. I finally got what I wanted, I was going to go into this Superhero High School!
"Hey Dad, can Harry come with me too? I said while crying a little
"Oh yeah, definitely," Dad said kindly. "I'll tell his parents about a 'good high school' that he'll go to with my son."
I didn't know why my Dad said it like that but I didn't care. I was on cloud 9, my dad didn't let me down and he came through like I knew he would.
Present Day
"And done" Harry replied. "That's the first chapter done."
"Yeah," I agreed. "I know it happened in the past but talking about what happened to me, it still stings."
"Well think about it this way, ever hero has some tragedy in their backstory right? That was ours. It's what Mr Silva said right?" Harry replied, now leaning on the beanbag cushion.
I chuckled lightly. "I guess it does. Ready to move on to Chapter 2?"
"Is this the part where you told me the secret?" Harry replied, covering his eyes like he was embarrassed
"Oh yeah," I said. "And I'll make you write what happened down."
"Yeah, yeah I got it. Let's go!"
A/N: So how do you like Young Kian? He's 11 in this chapter and I wanted to make him very different to the Kian you know in the present time, especially with what he suffers with but keep some similarities
I also needed you to have an emotional investment into him because well I need you to care about him, otherwise, I've done a bad job at writing his character :p
Sorry, it took so long. Enjoy!
