It was Friday and Grissom's 19th birthday. The daytime of his birthday was going to be spent with his and Sara's close family and friends. He woke up to Sara bringing him breakfast in bed.

"Happy birthday babe!"She whispered as she sat on the bed, placing the tray with waffles and chocolate sauce down next to Grissom.

She then leaned over and gave him a birthday kiss.

"Wow, wish I could wake up like this every morning" he teased her.

Sara laughed and kissed him again.

"Eat up you, I'll feed Leo then we need to get changed since your family should be here in soon"

"Waffles and chocolate sauce, my favourite. Especially when it's brought to me in bed by my beautiful fiance" he said kissing Sara once again before tucking in.

"I'm glad you like it, now eat up"

Sara fed Leo his bottle while Grissom sat and ate his waffles, he shared them with Sara as he knew they were also her favourite too. Just as they finished Sara told Grissom to hold Leo while she got them something.

"Here you go, your first present of the day" she said smiling as she passed the parcel to Grissom.

"Thanks baby!"

Grissom passed Leo back to Sara and opened his present. He pulled out the grey Adidas tracksuit.

"Wow, thanks baby. I love it" he said kissing her.

"I'm glad, cause I got Leo the same one" she said grabbing Leo's tracksuit.

"Very nice babe, thank you. I think I'll wear it today, no point getting dressed up till later" he said winking at her.

"That's what I was hoping" Sara said kissing him once again.

Grissom moved the tray off of the bed and pulled Sara to him, careful not to squash Leo.

"You okay? You're very affectionate this morning" Sara said cuddling into him, Leo in between the two.

"I'm perfect, never been better. This is the best birthday ever and it's only just begun" he told her.

"I'm glad, now come on. We need to get changed" Sara said laughing.

Grissom got changed into his new tracksuit while Sara changed Leo into his. She then passed Grissom his son so she could get herself ready. She changed into a grey cable knit jumper and legging's loungwear set, she then shoved her hair up into a messy bun.

"Beautiful!" Grissom said walking over to her with Leo in his arms.

"Why thank you, you look pretty handsome yourself" Sara said turning to kiss him softly.

Leo then let out a squeal.

"Sorry bay, are we forgetting about you?" Sara said kissing her son.

Leo gave her one of his gummy smiles which made both his parents smile back at him.

"Come on, lets go downstairs birthday boy. I'm sure you're ready to open all your presents now" Sara said taking one of Grissom's hands in hers and walking out of the room.

Downstairs both their families and their close friends were all waiting for them in the living room.

"SURPRISE!"

Sara smiled as she seen Grissom's shocked face, he didn't know all his friends would be there that day.

"Happy birthday babe" Sara whispered to him.

Grissom smiled and kissed Sara softly before greeting his friends and family. Once he had said his hello's to everyone he was told you sit on the couch and was given a huge pile of presents from all his friends and family. Sara sat next to him, taking Leo from him so he was able to open his gifts. He received many gifts such as new clothes, aftershave, books, gift vouchers as well as the night away with Sara tonight and a meal for two from his parents for them. He also received a family photo shoot for himself, Sara and Leo from Laura and Robert. After thanking everyone for their gifts, Sara gave him one last present.

"Just a little thing from Leo, Buddy and me" she told him smiling.

Grissom opened the gift and saw the engraved frame with a photo of his little family.

"I love it babe, thank you! Best present ever" he whispered.

"I'm glad" Sara said kissing him.

The rest of the day was spent eating and catching up, sitting in the garden playing games and enjoying the weather. Later on in the afternoon Sara and Grissom got there things and got ready to leave for their night away together. They said their goodbyes to their friends and family, a few tears were shed when they said their goodbyes to Leo, but they eventually left and headed to their hotel for the night. They got dressed up to head to the fancy restaurant his parents had booked for them. Grissom was dressed in a suit that Sara loved him in while Sara was dressed in a red one shoulder body-con midi dress with red heels that matched, her hair was up in a messy bun with little strands framing her face.

"Have I ever told you that you are the most beautiful woman I've ever met and that I love you very much?"

Sara smiled at him and kissed him softly "I love you too and you are the most handsome man I've ever met"

They kissed again, Grissom wrapping his arms around her waist and hers around his neck. They stood for several minutes in each others arms, kissing like there was no one in the world but the two of them.

Sara eventually pulled away and said "We better stop now or we'll never make dinner"

"I'm okay with that" Grissom said going in for another kiss.

Sara stopped him and said "Well tough, I'm hungry and your parents paid for a meal for us. Now lets go"

"Fine" Grissom said rolling his eyes and following Sara out their hotel room and to the restaurant a few blocks down.

"If you're lucky then maybe we can pick up where we left it" Sara said winking at him.

Grissom smiled at her and kissed her hand that was in his. The two got to the restaurant and were sat down straight away at a table where they were able to sit closely together, having already pre-ordered they waited on their meal, talking to each other about random things. Eventually their waiter brought their food and the couple began eating.

"This is amazing" Sara moaned making Grissom laughed.

"I agree"

"So, have you enjoyed you birthday Gilbert" Sara said smiling at him.

"Why yes I have Miss Sidle" he said flirting back with her.

"I'm glad, and you know, its still not over. We have all night"

"I can't wait" he told her, running a hand up her thigh.

They shared a smile and continued eating their food, once finished they were served their desert.

"Can we go yet" Grissom said getting impatient.

"Why are you in such a rush" Sara laughed.

Grissom rolled his eye and sighed "Cause I want to take my incredibly beautiful fiance up to our room and have some fun without anyone else around."

"Gilbert!" Sara blushed.

"What, it's the truth. Can we go yet?"

"Fine, I'm finished anyway" Sara said laughing.

"Thank god, now lets go" he said grabbing her hand.

The two thanked the waiter and left, Sara laughing at how excited Grissom was about having some alone time together with no one else around and no interruptions. They made it to their room where Grissom dragged Sara into the room, closed the door and pressed Sara up against it. They wrapped their arms around each other, kissing as if there was no tomorrow.

A few hours later the couple lay together in bed, Grissom on his back with his arms wrapped around Sara, her head on his chest and her arms around his as well.

"Best birthday ever" Grissom whispered to her as he ran a hand down her back.

Sara shivered and smiled "I'm glad baby, I wanted you to feel as special as I think you are"

"I love you so much Sar, thank you for making this day very special and for making me feel so loved"

"I love you more than anything Grissom, you're the best daddy to Leo and the best fiance I could ask for."

"I love you too baby, you are the best mummy Leo could ever have and any other child we may have in the future. You're also the best finance I could ask for and I'm so glad I finally got the nerve to ask you out on a proper date last year. It was the best decision I've ever made."

"Me too Gil, me too. Now, lets get some sleep, we have a son to pick up and take care of tomorrow" Sara said kissing his chest.

"I guess you're right as usual"

"Night baby" Sara said as she closed her eyes and fell asleep in his arms.

"Night Sar, I love you more than anything and I'll never let you go" he whispered.
