PJOfangirl had asked: can you do books four and five?
And my answer is: YES! I have always planned to do up to the end of book five. This whole story was actually written just for the purpose of one scene that I want to do in book five. I am crazy. I know. Just understand it has taken five years just to get through half of the books. Its gonna be a while.
Any ways on to this chapter. As always I do not know the Percy Jackson series but Chloe is my OC.
When Percy started dreaming, he expected it to be at Mount Othrys however he found himself standing in the middle of a museum. First Percy noticed was the old-style airplanes hanged from the ceiling and a display of the module from the moon landing stood in the middle of the room. Second, he noticed he was alone. There was no visitors or school groups touring the museum.
Movement outside caught his eye. Percy quickly crossed the room and slipped outside to the Mall. Across the street, climbing the steps up to the Museum of National History was Dr. Thorn, the manticore from Westover Hall. At the top of the stairs Dr. Thorn paused and turned around, scanning the empty Mall. Percy held his breath as he felt Dr. Thorn seemed to be looking right at him. The monster turned back around and slipped into the museum.
Percy quickly ran across the street however the steps of the museum slowly dissolved under his feet. Soon the building did too and Percy was falling into darkness.
The darkness faded into broken black marble ruins. Standing there among the ruins was Luke and a man in a dark suite. Percy could see Lady Artemis holding up the sky, her face scrunched up. Percy frowned seeing the goddess in pain. Further away was Chloe, laying on a slab of marble, still unconscious.
Percy duck behind broken column, listening to the conversation.
"It's just as I told you. Percy Jackson has left camp on a quest to rescue his sister." Luke said to the other man.
"By himself?" The man said in a deep voice.
Luke shook his head. "No. Will Solace, Son of Apollo, is leading the quest."
The man laughed, "Hear that Artemis? The demigod gets a rescue team. Turns out your hunters are not as loyal as you thought."
The trapped goddess ignored the taunt. The man knelt before the goddess so they were face to face. "What got nothing to say? Did I break you already?" The man reached out to touch Artemis but the goddess was quicker and bit the man's hand.
The man howled in pain, pulling away from Artemis. Ichor dripped from his hand.
"LUKE!" The man blew. "Let's go! We got things to do!"
Luke swallowed. "Yes General.". As he was shouting out orders the scene started to fade. The last thing Percy saw before the darkness consumed him was sea-green eyes staring into his.
The darkness shifted once again but this time he was looking at Camp Half-blood. Standing at the base of the hill by a white van was Zoe, Bianca, Thalia, Grover, and Annabeth. All of them, except Grover, were armored up and had packs. Zoe got her quest after all.
"Are you sure you did it right?" Thalia asked Grover, leaning against the van.
The stayer nodded excitedly. "Well… pretty sure. Ninety-nine percent. Okay, eighty-five percent."
"I don't like this." Zoe said crossing her arms. "We need to go west!"
"Oh, like your tracking skills are any better," Thalia muttered rolling her eyes.
Zoe stepped toward her. "You challenge my skills, you scullion? You know nothing of being a Hunter!"
Thalia glared at the Hunter, taking a step closer of her own but Annabeth got between them.
"Just stop it!" Annabeth snapped. "We haven't even left camp yet and you are already at other throats. Can you two just put your differences aside? For the sake of the quest?"
"Annabeth is right." Bianca said, "We need to work together or we will fail. Just as the quest said."
"Fine." Thalia said still glaring at the Huntress.
"Only for Lady Artemis sake," Zoe agreed.
"Good. Now we need to get a move on. Washington DC is about 4 hours from here." Annabeth told them. Wordlessly they climbed into the van, Zoe taking the driver seat.
As the van speed down the road, darkness took over for the last time.

"Wait so let me get this straight: you saw this monster that kidnap Chloe in DC, Luke and this General dude leaving Mount Othrys, and Zoe's quest is taking her to DC as well?" Will asked in shock. "That's one heck of a dream. Even for a demigod."
Percy nodded, running a hand through his hair. "It was a lot."
Will leaned against his seat in shock. "It can't be a coincidence that we are on our way to DC as well."
"By the looks of it, Zoe and her group is going to be there a few hours after we are."
"I guess we are going to meet up with them sooner then I thought," Will muttered. "We will be arriving into DC within the hour."
"So, what are we going to do?" Percy asked.
"Find this Thorn guy?" Will suggested. "I have always wanted to the Smithsonian museums."
"What if Zoe and them aren't going to the Smithsonian?"
"We are dealing with prophecies, Percy. They will play out when the time is right. If we don't see them at the museums then we will find them when the time is right."
* * Line Break * *
Being chased out of the Museum of Natural History by skeleton warriors was not what either of them had planned.
The two demigods tore across the Mall, not daring to look back. They could hear Luke shouting order and the skeletons hot on their heels. They burst into the Air and Space Museum, running past the admissions area, causing the clerk at the desk to shout for security.
Will wasn't sure where they were going but there had to be a back exit somewhere, where they can slip out and lose the skeleton warriors.
"Up there," Percy said, pointing to a set of stairs leading to the upper balcony. Will followed the Son of Poseidon up the stairs running into Thalia – literally. Will had taken a second to look behind him and barreled right into Thalia, knocking them into an Apollo space capsule. Sorry father, Will thought rubbing his head where it had hit the ground.
Grover yelped in surprise. Annabeth reached for her knife.
Before Will could get back to his feet, Zoe and Bianca had arrows pointed them. When Zoe realized who they were, she glared at the Son of Apollo. "You! How dare you show thy face here?"
"Luke," Percy said, gasping for breath. "He's here."
The anger in Annabeth's and Thalia's face melted away. "Where?" Thalia demanded.
Together Percy and Will told them about what had happen with Luke and the General in the Natural History Museum. Percy could see the gears turning in Annabeth's head.
"The General is here?" Zoe looked stunned. "That is impossible! You lie."
"I am Son of Apollo; I can not lie." Will told her sternly. Zoe stared back, clenching her jaw. "Right now, we have bigger things to worry about."
"Oh? Like what?" Zoe challenged.
"Skeleton warriors—" Percy begin to say but was cut off.
"How many?" Annabeth demanded.
"Twelve," Percy said in a huff. "But that is not all. That guy, the General, said he was sending over a 'playmate' to distract you over here. A monster."
"What monster?" Annabeth demanded.
Percy shrugged. "I don't know."
"Percy," Annabeth groaned. "We need to know what we are dealing with!"
"Look we are telling you all we know," Will snapped. "At lest we were doing something while yall took a tour of a museum."
Annabeth narrowed her eyes at the Son of Apollo. Will was pretty sure she was going to skin him alive with her dagger.
"Listen here—" Annabeth started to say.
"We were following Artemis's trail," Grover interrupted, shifting nervously. "I was pretty sure it led here. Some powerful monster sent … she must've stopped here looking for the mystery monster. But we haven't found anything yet."
"Zoe," Bianca said nervously, "if it is the General –"
"It cannot be!" Zoe snapped. "These boys must have seen an Iris message or an illusion."
"Illusions don't crack marble floors," Will told her.
Zoe took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. Will wasn't sure why Zoe was taking this so personal but now wasn't the time to ask.
"If they are telling the truth about these skeleton warriors, we have no time to argue." Annabeth interjected. "Those must be Spartoi and not something we want to be fighting. We need to get out of here. Now."
Zoe nodded in agree. "Agree. Let's go."
"Good idea," Percy said.
"Not thee, boy." Zoe said. "You are not part of this quest."
"Joined by those in silver and orange to rescue the moon," Will quoted from his prophecy. "That is second line in the prophecy I was given. This all our quest now."
"Fine, come on. Lets get back to the van." Thalia said grimly.
"This is not thy decision!" Zoe snapped.
Thalia scowled at her. "You are not the boss here Zoe! I don't care how old you are! You're still a conceited little brat!"
"You never had any wisdom when it came to boys," Zoe growled. "You never could leave them behind!"
Thalia looked ready to hit Zoe. Then everyone froze. A growl so loud it sounded like a rocket engine firing up echoed throughout the museum. Something enormous bounded up the ramp. Will turned around slowly only to face with a golden lion the size of a truck. Will notched an arrow.
"The Nemean Lion," Annabeth said. "Don't move."
"Separate on my mark," Zoe added. "Try to keep it distracted."
"Until when?" Grover asked.
"Until we kill it," Annabeth said.
"How?" Will asked.
"We will figure it out."
"Go!" Zoe yelled.
